February 21st – 27th, 2022

The astrology for this week of February 21st through the 27th of 2022 could have us humming the tune and thinking the words to the classic Animals song We Gotta Get Out of this Place.

Whether we literally or figuratively take time this week to stretch our wings and fly away, we are itching to do something different, explore new realms, and discover new aspects of our selves.

The week begins with President’s Day in the US, a holiday for some, shopping sales days for others, and just a typical day for yet even others. As long as we can get some quiet time and alone time, a hard commodity to find nowadays, everything will be fine.

We’re not looking to set the world on fire as we start this week. Early in the week, we may focus on dealing with outstanding matters, tying up loose ends, and trying to get some of the heavy load off our shoulders.

Mid-week might have us exploring possibilities, allowing ourselves to be carried along on the currents, and delving into the wonder of it all. Reconnections with people may be scintillating. Sirens calls of alternatives not previously considered might beckon.

We just have to be wary of being impetuous and acting without thinking. Miscommunications and misunderstandings can dampen our spirits and bring our endeavors to a sudden halt. Let’s have contingency plans in mind, just in case anything goes awry.

The weekend could have us focused on straightening things up, preparing for the spring season ahead, and dealing with various mundane matters we might not have addressed earlier.

The weekend ends with us involved in interesting diversions and social interactions. It’s not all grunt and groan. We can still enjoy good times with good friends. En joy!

Monday, February 21st – Withdrawals – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Mercury. Monday begins the week with the Libra Moon square Pluto in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio. The Scorpio Moon today trines the Sun early in the day, and the Moon squares Mercury later in the day. Any flare-ups yesterday with someone could not only linger into this Monday but might also trigger our withdrawal into our own sanctuary. We are far more intrigued by spending time with ourselves rather than dealing with all the mishigas of other people. Even if we try to avoid the harsh rebukes of someone, they could come knocking later in the day. This day is best served by our enjoying the sanctity of our own space, whether that space be our personal environment or our head space. It’s also a good day to focus on our individual matters by cleaning up and clearing out the debris of our past.

Tuesday, February 22nd – Inspired Despite the Whacks – Lunar T-Square, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Venus, Mars. Tuesday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square with last year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square as the Scorpio Moon today opposes Uranus and the Moon squares Saturn. The Moon also trines both Jupiter and Neptune both in Pisces, and the Moon sextiles both Venus and Mars both in Capricorn. If we don’t get waylaid by last year’s craziness or the continuation of the crazies this year with their myopic perspective on reality where the subjective has become the objective [thanks post-modern hysteria], we can look towards our future rather than getting tripped up by our past or the tilting at windmills of modern times. Let’s allow karma to wreak its damage. We have better things to do. By focusing on our intended steps ahead with faith and the belief that we can accomplish our greatest goals, we could blend our foresight with practical implementation and get a lot done today. There may be hiccups along the way, but we don’t need to be ensnared by any mishaps. Rather, we might sidestep disruptions and move ahead with our personal journey recognizing the backdrops of the world-at-large are only the conditions and circumstance in which we find ourselves but not the sole determiners in our way forward.

Wednesday, February 23rd – Spread Wide our Wings – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Mars, Neptune. Wednesday begins with the Scorpio Moon sextile Pluto in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon moves into Sagittarius where late in the day the Sagittarius Moon squares the Sun. Mars sextiles Neptune. Wednesday may continue yesterday’s effectiveness and our ability to sift through the meaningful and the irrelevant. We might feel guided by what we need to get done and the most practical ways to advance our interests. Let’s keep in mind that we have two Stelliums operating — one in Capricorn with Venus, Mars, and Pluto in the Cardinal Earth Sign, and the other Stellium in Pisces with the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune in the Mutable Water Sign. These two powerpacks highlighted today by the Capricorn Mars sextile the Pisces Neptune allows us to be ‘guided’, whether by instinct, our intuitive sense, or by the divine, to be effective and highly productive in anything that we might do. Nothing is liable to fall between the cracks. The one requirement for this day to perform at its optimum is for us not to get in our own way. Arrogance and self-importance could undermine our best efforts. Why create trouble for ourselves when things can easily glide along and with everything fitting neatly into place? Let’s spread wide our wings and be carried along on the currents.

Thursday, February 24th – All Fun and Games Until – Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Mercury, Uranus. Thursday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today sextile both Mercury and Saturn both in Aquarius, and the Moon square both Jupiter and Neptune both in Pisces. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for thirteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn on Friday. Venus sextiles Neptune, and Mercury squares Uranus. Thursday could prove a bit of a roller coaster with times when things are moving smoothly along, other times when the stretch might prove a yard too far. Relationships, both personal and professional, could prove close to idyllic. This is one of those days when it would be important for us to appreciate what is rather than bemoaning what isn’t. The more we can recognize the good in life’s unfolding, the happier we are likely to be. It is important that we look beyond the surface appearance to see what is truly going on. Our intuitive sense could be more attuned to true reality than the empirical evidence. We might often feel as though we have woken up in some bizarre world, where up is down and everything is turned around. The less we jump to conclusions, take our time for things to reveal their true nature, the better we shall be able to navigate the currents. Although our interactions can be highly pleasant early in the day, we also have to be wary of miscommunications and misunderstandings late in the day. The Mercury Uranus square is my least favorite aspect for air travel, and this energy configuration might contribute to travel difficulties, Internet and computer problems, and liabilities of shooting from the lip. A sense of immediacy might need to be toned down with avoidance of any rush to judgment.

Friday, February 25th – Time Out – Moon Void-of-Course. Friday continues with the Void-of-Course Moon as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius without making any further connections to the planets before entering Capricorn around midday EST on this Friday. The Capricorn Moon makes no connections to the planets today. After yesterday, which might have been a whipsaw between idyllic emotions and scattered thinking, we could chalk this Friday up to a ‘mental health’ day. The early part of the day is better served finding outlets for our creativity and enjoying ourselves. Perhaps we are catching our breath after any excesses and indulgences we may have engaged earlier in the week. As the day progresses, we could pull in our wings, close off our roaming and our ramblings, and take a serious tone to the day and in preparation for the weekend ahead. Like an accordion, we may find ourselves moving from a highly expansive past two days into a more contractive phase. We can attune to what needs to be done, lower our sights and focus on what is right in front of us. The weekend may prove more productive, so this Friday is a day for us to take a ‘time out’, regroup and recharge.

Saturday, February 26th – Time Management Skill – Sun, Uranus, Jupiter. Saturday continues with the Capricorn Moon with much of the energy configurations in the morning hours. The Capricorn Moon sextiles both the Sun and Jupiter both in Pisces, and the Moon trines Uranus. If we would plan our day before starting out on this Saturday, we could be highly adept in accomplishing our tasks on our ‘to do’ list. Although today and tomorrow are the weekend days, they might also prove the most productive days of this week in advancing our goals and achieving successful results. Let’s keep in mind that we do not have to make things hard for ourselves. On the contrary, by drawing upon a belief that we are guided either by our natural talents or by a force greater than ourselves, we can accomplish a great deal and might do so in a timely and strategically sound manner. By working smarter rather than harder, we may streamline our methodology and devise the most effective means to realize successful results. It would be wise for us to have our antennae up, be open to receive, and work with peripheral vision, for surprising developments may ease our way and also open alternative trajectories that are far more satisfying then what we had devised. Often, the higher forces and the universe have far greater plans for us than we could possibly conceive for ourselves.

Sunday, February 27th – Moving Mountains – Neptune, Venus, Mars, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Similar to Saturday, Sunday has the energy configurations influencing our early hours. The Moon continues its transit of Capricorn with the Moon today sextile Neptune, and the Moon conjunct the three Capricorn-transiting planets of Venus, Mars and Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius later in the day. During these three weeks from the 18th of February through March 5th we have the two Stelliums of three plants transiting Capricorn and three planets transiting Pisces. Through our faith, foresight and belief combined with perseverance, focused practical application and implementation, it may seem as though we are able to move mountains. While there is an age-old saying that ‘the devil is in the details’, today can have us attentive and adept to the specific and the particulars. Nothing is liable to fall between the cracks today, and as a result we can accomplish a great deal. Saturday and Sunday are two primo days for dealing with our mundane matters, taking care of what needs to get done, and being highly productive and successfully effective. After two days of attending to significant affairs, we can use the afternoon and evening hours of this Sunday for fun social occasions and doing whatever catches our fancy.
