May 29th – June 4th, 2023

The astrology for this week of May 29th through the June 4th of 2023 has good vibes and upbeat feelings to begin the week and over the weekend with unpleasant hiccups mid-week and before we reach the weekend.

The week begins with Memorial Day in the US, the day completing the long holiday weekend considered the unofficial start to the summer season.

No matter the weather, we are all likely geared up for good times with good friends and a summer prelude of fun events and re-creational activities.

Even if we’re back on track early in the week, we may be feeling recharged and reinvigorated and able to successfully attend to whatever comes our way.

What comes our way mid-week into Friday is the Fixed Sign T-Square with the Scorpio Moon making it a Fixed Sign Grand Cross. Frustrating delays and unanticipated costs could raise our ire but with us having little ability than to ‘grin and bear it’, pare down our expectations and budget our finances.

A tug-of-war between egos might only descend into lose-lose situations rather than seeking win-win scenarios.

Despite any kerfuffle towards the end of the week, we may put them aside come Friday evening with the intention of spreading our wings, focusing on our future, and not allowing parade rainers to hamper our weekend plans.

Indicative of the paradigm shift with its asequential reality of things happening in the most inexplicable ways, Sunday can give evidence of pulling a rabbit out of the hat. We just need to be open to receive the possibilities of the impossible, even to the point of a camel capable of squeezing through the eye of a needle. Magic and mini-miracles can occur.

Monday, May 29th – Good Times, Good Friends – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto, Mars. Monday begins this week in the US with Memorial Day, the last day of the long holiday weekend that is considered the unofficial start to summer. This week starts with the Virgo Moon opposed Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra. The Libra Moon today trines Pluto and the Moon sextiles Mars. We might have experienced both overwhelm and total exhaustion early on this past weekend, and we could start this Monday with a belief that there is ever more to do. There’s always more to do. Like life itself, there are times for us to take a ‘time out’ from our obligations and responsibilities and instead enjoy good times with good friends. This Monday is one of those days for us to put any pressing demands on the back burner and engage the fun activities of our life. Taking a hiatus from our routine allows us to step away from our normal involvements, gives us a fresh perspective, and allows us to take off the blinders to see from peripheral vision and consider options and alternatives that we often do not have the time for while dealing with our customary patterns. Even if we stay at home today and this passing weekend, it would be important for us to take a breather from our usual actions and add a little spice to our life.

Tuesday, May 30th – All Together Now – Sun. Tuesday continues with the Libra Moon with the Moon today trine the Sun. We may feel energized from this past weekend, more together and less likely to push the envelope. There can be a nice flow to this Tuesday, thanks both to our increased self-integration and our willingness to consider what is going on with other people. Much of the narcissism people engage could lessen today, since there is less of a push to accentuate our own personal interests, elevate our ego and create win-lose scenarios. On the contrary, Tuesday may be a highly pleasant day, a day when we appreciate our many blessings, the wide world of opportunities each of us has, the people in our lives, and the freedoms we enjoy. Perhaps we were more focused on fun and the unofficial start to the summer season than commemorating and honoring those who died in US military service this past holiday weekend, but this Tuesday as we get back into our regular routine might remind us of the sacrifices so many have given to our nation. We might even appreciate that life is not merely about getting the goodies but giving to better our community. Tuesday does not have a great deal of energy to go from neutral into overdrive, but it is a day when we can reflect on what we have and realize how much we have been given. Instead of the political divide that seems to be tearing the nation apart by means of micro-focused identities, we could recognize that the diverse parts make up the whole. All together, we have the ability of growing and developing a better world. This is true both in regard to our community, nation, the world, and it is true for our personal selves and our individual awakening and ascension in consciousness, our self-development.

Wednesday, May 31st – And so it Begins – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto. Wednesday begins with the Moon completing its transit of Libra with the Libra Moon square Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for nine hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio late in the day. The Scorpio Moon tonight squares Pluto and initially triggers the Fixed Sign Grand Cross that we’ll be dealing with into Friday. The first half of this week can be pleasant with more upbeat feelings and good times. Wednesday gives us a thrust to change things up, feather our nest and focus more on what lies ahead of us than what we need to contend with. Contending may be strong over the next two days, so the more we could use the early part of the day to go here, there, and everywhere without feeling the need to commit to anything or anyone but just enjoying ourselves and sampling this, that and the other, the more we can build up our reserves to address challenging incidents that might occur over the next couple of days. We do need to be wary of making changes solely for the sake of change, and it would be wise for us to be judicious and budget-conscious in any fixups we may decide to do around the house. Late in the day, the intensity might ratchet up and we could question whether we have the resources to advance our future plans or just need to cut back on some of our intentions by prioritizing the most significant involvements.

Thursday, June 1st – Cutting Back – Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn. Thursday has the Scorpio Moon triggering a Lunar T-Square with the Moon opposed Jupiter and the Moon square Mars in Leo. The Moon trines Saturn. Late on Wednesday, we had the Moon square Pluto in Aquarius, which really triggered the Fixed Sign T-Square that we are dealing with into mid-June when Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn ending this particular Fixed Sign T-Square on the 11th. The Scorpio Moon energizes the Fixed Sign T-Square and turns it into a Fixed Sign Grand Cross. Interesting that this energy configuration occurs at the time of the US debt ceiling and the conundrum as to whether the US will default on its debt. While there may be a last minute save from default, this energy configuration suggests that in our personal world we need to cut back on our expenses, pare down our financial commitments, and operate smarter. Entitlements and easy money have given most of us the sense that whatever we want we can have. Immediate gratification runs rampant, aided and abetted by credit card purchases, the average credit card interest rate being 19%, a significant monthly hit that makes it hard to pay down one’s credit card balance. Should we say usury? Thursday and Friday could be two frustrating days, days when things take longer than we like, might be more expensive than we had budgeted for, and when we may have to prioritize our involvements with the mantram that ‘living simply is not simply living’. The excesses of recent years could be whittled down with a recognition that some of our engagements were unnecessary indulgences. Although transparency of inflation could prove a ruse, coupled with the questioning of the creditworthiness of western nations as the geopolitical power begins to shift from the west to the east with the liability of increased costs of financing, for each of us it may be necessary to focus on the truly important and be more conservative in our financial matters. Changes are not only coming; they are already happening.

Friday, June 2nd – Mundane vs Idyllic – Mercury, Uranus, Lunar Grand Trine, Neptune, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course. Friday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon completing the Fixed Sign Grand Cross early in the day as the Scorpio Moon opposes both Mercury and Uranus. The evening hours have the Scorpio Moon triggering a Grand Trine in the Water Element as the Moon trines Neptune in Pisces and the Moon trines Venus in Cancer. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius early on Saturday morning. Venus trines Neptune. Lack of resources or unexpected expenses could put a damper on our mood early on this Friday. We might have felt battered and bruised over the past two days with various delays, frustrations, and expenses that we have had to deal with. Squeezing blood out of a stone may not be our favorite pastime, especially after our being conditioned into getting what we want; but being cost conscious and adept at bargain hunting would prevent us from digging a hole of debt that is often hard to get out from once we begin the digging. We may need to deal with mundane matters on this Friday with a focus on paring down, getting rid of and bringing various matters to completion. The evening hours could be one enchanted evening with romance accentuated. We might feel as though we have gone from the mundane to the idyllic and as if acting out a Cinderellaesque montage. Friday evening is not to be lost but fully engaged with cherishing what we have with a special person, our family, and our personal sanctuary of the comforts of home.

Saturday, June 3rd – Reach Out of the Dark – Pluto, Saturn, Mars, Sun, Sagittarius Full Moon. Saturday has the Moon moving into Sagittarius where today the Moon sextiles Pluto, the Moon squares Saturn, the Moon trines Mars, and the Moon opposes the Sun at the Sagittarius Full Moon [11:42 PM EDT] to end the day. This can be a highly energetic day, a day for us to spread our wings. Commitments previously made may try and clip our wings. If we would take the time to enlist our time management skills, prioritize our activities, and realize that promises made need to be promises kept, then any obligations need not upset our day but can be attended to expeditiously, all the while not dampening our interest to be out and about and soar beyond our usual terrain. This Saturday is a good day for us to get out of Dodge, enjoy quality time with that special someone, and adopt an optimistic and exuberant attitude. Our society likes to focus on the negativity, all the wrongs in our world, with us being continually barraged over the past few years with one ‘crisis’ after another. This Saturday and this weekend provide the energy to step away from harsh, cold realities and enlist an upbeat, enthusiastic disposition that can open the door to wonder-filled surprises.

Sunday, June 4th – Magic in the Air – Neptune, Mercury, Uranus. Sunday has the Moon continuing its transit of Sagittarius with the Moon late in the day square Neptune. The main energy configuration for this Sunday is Mercury conjunct Uranus. With a desire to expand our reach and broaden our engagements, we might be privy to unexpected developments of which we were not previously aware. Serendipity of being in the right place at the right time could be the catalyst for some interesting opportunities both for this Sunday and for our future engagements. We just need to be open to the inexplicable in order to receive. No matter what our plans for this Sunday might be, it is suggested that we be willing to alter our plans and take advantage of any fascinating encounters. This Sunday could provide evidence of the paradigm shift from linear, sequential reality into the asequential reality where things occur in the most unexpected manner, as if by magic or miracles. Let’s appreciate the fact that the game of life has changed, that we are co-creators with the universal unfolding and not sole determiners of how our life is to develop. We need to be attentive to the clues along the way. This Sunday could be a truly intriguing day that makes us aware of the possibilities of the seemingly impossible but cognizant that not all possibilities are feasible or realistic for us to engage.
