November 29th – December 5th, 2021

The astrology for this week of November 29th through December 5th of 2021 suggests we employ our spirit into action. Intention and creative visualization are starting points by which our dreams can come true.

The week begins pleasantly enough. We may hold our cards close to our chest, but our thoughts are geared towards what we wish to achieve and how best to go about it. Especially during this paradigm shift of asequential reality where things can occur in the most inexplicable ways, we might better appreciate the proverb ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’.

Even though we have suffered through lockdowns, restrictions and continual fearmongering, we could also realize that we are living during times of magic and mini-miracles and that situations are able to shift dramatically and suddenly with hardly a moment’s notice.

We are likely to be flying high as we start this week, but mid-week has us dealing with our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square. Braking action can put a damper on our moving forward assertively and aggressively, but often applying the brakes allows us to finetune, tweak and rectify any errors made by enthusiastic impetuousness.

The weekend has the Sagittarius New Moon, a Solar Eclipse, and adds greater enthusiasm to our holiday spirit. Or is that spirits?

The thing about this time of year is that we are more immersed in the ethereal spirit beyond the physical appearance, a little more attuned in our consciousness to the higher realms of true reality. The world of possibilities that we can engage seems vast and limitless.

Monday, November 29th – Expanding our Reach – Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Neptune. Monday has the Moon moving into Libra where today the Libra Moon sextiles both the Sun and Mercury both in Sagittarius, and the Moon trines Saturn. Mars sextiles Neptune. In the US, we are coming off the long holiday week of Thanksgiving, and Monday begins this week with our desire to reach out to various people during these holidays over the next six weeks. We may be feeling upbeat, in an expansive mood and looking to connect with those from whom we might have been sequestered during the past months due to the lockdowns, social distancing and other reasons to isolate and keep away from social interactions. Embracing the abundance in life and living is to be commended, but we have to be wary of metronome-like actions and behavior where we swing from deprivation and self-abnegation to excess and extreme indulgence. This Monday calls for us to adhere to the sentiment of ‘moderation in all things’, a wise suggestion although not in accord with our metronome-like tendencies.

Tuesday, November 30th – The Right Stuff – Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, Sun. Tuesday is a highly active day and one when we could feel an adrenaline rush. The Moon continues its transit of Libra with the Libra Moon square both Venus and Pluto both in Capricorn, and the Moon trine Jupiter at the end of the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for seven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio early on Wednesday morning. Tuesday also has both Mercury and the Sun sextile Saturn, and Venus sextile Neptune. We may prefer to look towards the distant horizon of our future plans and our goals rather than deal with what is right in front of us. This Tuesday would be a day for us to devise and strategize our future moves. We might feel limited in our abilities, restricted by regulations, and lacking in confidence. We may not be fully aware of our itinerary or our intended destination, but each journey begins with a first step. The first step in initiating any project is the enthusiasm to go where we might not have gone before. Despite any failings, the end of the day gives us a boost in enthusiasm and optimism to be willing to go forward, even if our proceedings are built more upon faith than empirical evidence. Let’s keep in mind that magic and mini-miracles are key characteristics of the paradigm shift, and that with a belief in the goodness of life and in our own personal destiny we have the right stuff to journey forward.

Wednesday, December 1st – Less Is More – Saturn, Neptune direct. Wednesday has the Moon entering Scorpio with the Moon generating today and tomorrow a Fixed Sign T-Square as our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square is triggered. The Scorpio Moon today squares Saturn. Tomorrow the Moon opposes Uranus. Neptune turns direct. We could be in the midst of ‘newspeak’ as the parade rainers come forth with their fearmongering. The topics drawn upon may read like a list of restrictions and compressions. Spikes in viruses with new mutants of viruses, the bite of inflation with rising costs, lacks of goods and services dampening the holiday spirit, increased street crime and threats of war, a sense of everything circling the drain; any or all of these issues are liable to put the scare in many of us. One characteristic that came out of the lockdowns over the past two years is the fact that most of us learned to do more with less. In the sanctity of our home from the imposed lockdowns, we had the opportunity to realize that we truly did not need all the diversions and distractions that once graced our lives. On the contrary, for many people the lockdowns were like a spiritual retreat, a time to focus on the truly essential in our life and living. Without all the clutter of our life’s previous involvements we could concentrate on our own creativity no matter what format that creativity might take. We might have done our own cooking, appreciated the wealth of reward in the simplicity of living, and realized that even under the most adverse circumstances we had the resources not only to survive but to thrive. The naysayers and the negative spinmeisters may try any of the bogey things that could scare us. This is a day for us to reaffirm the truth that we have discovered that less is often more.

Thursday, December 2nd – Try as They May – Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Mars, Pluto. Thursday begins with the Scorpio Moon completing the Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed Uranus. Late yesterday we had the Moon square Saturn and early on this Thursday morning we have the Moon opposed Uranus to complete the Fixed Sign T-Square and reengage our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square. An unexpected situation could throw us a curveball early in the day, but we have become well-conditioned to ‘expecting the unexpected’ and have learned how best to cope with disruptive matters. This dance between old and new, between authoritarian restrictions and individual freedoms, brought to us by the Saturn Uranus square is getting old, the pace and rhythm too long played out. Fortunately, after the encounter with the Saturn Uranus square yesterday and today, the Scorpio Moon on this Thursday trines Neptune, the Moon conjuncts Mars, and the Moon sextiles both Venus and Pluto both in Capricorn. This is a day when we might truly embrace the sentiment expressed in “Devil, get thee behind me.” Whether drawing upon our faith, our sense of personal destiny, or our own pigheadedness, we are likely to focus on what is most fundamental in our life and to our own happiness. Impelled by something larger than our personal self, we can determine to achieve our goals and ambitions. We are not willing to allow anything force us to give up our free will and our personal choice. We might be limited in our resources, but we are able to draw upon our true grit to persevere in our own individual journey. Through the adversities of recent times we have sharpened our abilities, strengthened our resolve, and become giants in character. Try as they may, there is no stopping us now.

Friday, December 3rd – On the Upswing – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn. Friday begins with the Scorpio Moon square Jupiter. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius where late in the day the Sagittarius Moon sextiles Saturn. We are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon. Although Wednesday and early Thursday could have presented some bumps in the road for us to address through delays and frustrations and through unanticipated incidents, we might have been shaken but we certainly were able to successfully manage. If we have adopted the British wartime sentiment of ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’, then we may have gained great confidence that we can effectively handle anything that comes our way. Although initiations are best done under a waxing Moon, from the New Moon to the Full Moon, this Friday allows us to make our preparations for the way ahead. We could devise our itinerary, consider our destination, all with a sense that we can grow and develop our plans no matter the backdrop of society’s political, economic and community consensus conditions. We are on an upswing, a sense reinforced by the holiday spirit that no one or no thing can possibly dampen.

Saturday, December 4th – Reaching to Make our Mark – Sagittarius New Moon, Solar Eclipse, Sun, Mercury, Neptune. Saturday has the Moon conjunct the Sun at the time of the New Moon, a Solar Eclipse [2:43 AM EST]. The New Moon is in orb of a conjunction with Mercury, and later in the day the Moon squares Neptune. We may be feeling impelled to make our mark on the world. We are likely to have an optimism that all things are possible [which they are, especially during this paradigm shift with its magic and miracles]. With the holiday spirit upon us, a time of year when hard cold reality seems to dissolve into a more ethereal and spiritual realm, we may feel infused to believe that what we can conceive we can truly achieve. This New Moon influence continues up to the Full Moon on the 18th and as a Solar Eclipse may well light a fire under our feet. The truth seeker and truth teller are engaged, and we are all likely to be expressing our perspective on our reality. We are not interested in games, the dysfunctions of others, or the negativities of what others consider to be wrong. We want to be upbeat and enjoy the company of other enthusiastic people. No Debbie Downers or Eeyores please. This time of year, and this New Moon, confers an optimistic and upbeat attitude despite what negative narrative might be spun. The emphasis could be on what works best on our personal journey. We are liable to be primarily focused on our personal interests and individual plans. If we choose to engage others, we want them to be inspired and willing to march to their own drummer and at their own pace. New days are dawning, and each of us might be reaching to make our own mark.

Sunday, December 5th – Functional and Effective – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. Sunday begins with the Moon completing its transit of Sagittarius with the Moon sextile Jupiter in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn. This is a day when we can put our spirit into action. We might determine our commitments for this holiday session, make plans for social interactions, and take note of responsibilities to be completed both for our holiday celebrations and for the end of year resolutions. We might feel as though we have the wind to our back and that things can move along smoothly and quickly. Our time management skills could come into play today. We can accomplish a lot without much pressure. This Sunday we might make out our ‘to do’ list with a detailed schedule and the easiest ways to address the items on our list and checking it twice. We may be highly functional and effective on this Sunday, but we might find planning our course of action to be more productive today than implementing and executing our moves.
