April 5th – 11th, 2021

The astrology for this week of April 5th through the 11th of 2021 provides some pleasant engagements and enjoyable social interactions leading up to late Sunday’s Aries New Moon that truly triggers the coming of spring.

The week begins with us more interested in future plans and conversations with friends and those who can flush out some of our ideas with their input and suggestions.

Relationships seem especially pleasant. If we have had any disagreements over recent weeks, we could easily paper them over and find ourselves more collaborative and amenable to the quirks of individuality of others and even our own.

The latter part of the week heightens our sensitivity. We have to be wary that our emotions don’t lead us down the garden path of illusions and subsequent delusions and disappointments.

The weekend is geared to our exploring new terrain, stretching our wings, and enjoying the company of those people most agreeable to our whims and desires.

The week closes out with the Aries New Moon. Although we entered spring at the time of the Vernal Equinox last month, the season truly begins with the New Moon of that Cardinal Sign. For this spring season, the New Moon late on Sunday truly brings us into the season of renewal, rebirth, renaissance. We may have to prioritize and rid ourselves of the outdated, but we are stepping into a two-week period of new beginnings.

Monday, April 5th – Smarter Not Harder – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury. Monday begins this week with the Capricorn Moon conjunct Pluto in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for six hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius where today the Moon sextiles Mercury. If we prioritize our activities and plan out our schedule, this Monday starts the week with us working smarter rather than harder. If we take care of pressing issues in the morning hours, then we can focus on our future goals as the day proceeds. This is a good day for us to reach out to those people who might be able to help us further our interests and assist in developing the proper means to realize our goals. We may be feeling more upbeat and interested in advancing our projects. Instead of being mopey and anxious about what could or could not happen, we have a greater thrust of energy with a sense that we can actually accomplish successful results in whatever we wish to pursue. This is a good day to make our case to other people, draw upon the insights and suggestions of other people, and bask in the warmth of the admiration of someone. This is a day for us to both give and receive compliments and appreciations.

Tuesday, April 6th – No Need for Harder – Uranus, Saturn, Sun, Mars, Venus. The nemesis of our year – the Saturn in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus – is triggered today by the Moon in Aquarius square Uranus and the Moon conjunct Saturn. While we might feel frustrated by the push pull of old and new as we start this Tuesday, things lighten up with a little help from our friends as the day proceeds. The Moon sextiles both the Sun and Venus both in Aries, and the Moon trines Mars. Venus sextiles Mars. We could feel in a bit of a dither to begin this Tuesday, but a reach out to someone or to other people might benefit clarity of what is our past and what could prove our future. Venus sextiles Mars. This is a day for us to reach out to someone to get an objective perspective, a detached viewpoint, to critique our thoughts and our intended actions. Although we might prefer to go it alone, this Tuesday calls for collaboration, or at the very least sharing our plans with someone who can fine tune or dispel how we see our moves forward. Our social interactions are highly pleasant today, for we have a greater integration of our own masculine and feminine characteristics. Let’s keep in mind the Tao, that within the yang energy is the seed of its apparent opposite, the yin energy, and within the yin energy is the seed of its apparent opposite, the yang energy, and together they bring completion in the Tao. So too for us, as our integration of the positive – negative, masculine – feminine, allows for a sense of integration and completion. We do not need to make things hard on ourselves, especially when we can draw upon a trusted confidante to help show us the way and suggest the best means to accomplish our goals.

Wednesday, April 7th – Feel Good with Great Appreciation – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-course. Wednesday has the Aquarius Moon conjunct Jupiter early in the day and just before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost ten and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces later in the day. Although Wednesday is often considered ‘hump day’ with it coming into the middle of our work week, this Wednesday is more likely a ‘mental health’ day. We may not feel pressured to do much today except possibly discussions or get-togethers with other people. This can be a day when the Mutual Admiration Society calls a meeting. We are likely to feel upbeat, optimistic and enthusiastic with a sentiment that ‘life is good’. An attitude of good feelings and confidence could prove contagious, as everyone might be basking in the sunshine and spreading their light to a general uplift and ‘feel good’ quality. There are days when we can have nose to grindstone, accomplish a great deal, and other days when a ‘time out’ is called for. This Wednesday would be a good time for a ‘time out’ with the recognition that we are coming more into the spring season. By taking some ‘down time’ today, we can re-create, recharge, and renew our energies, all indicative of the promise of the spring season.

Thursday, April 8th – Stillness Lies the Answer – Uranus. Thursday has the Pisces Moon sextile Uranus. Wednesday and Thursday do not have a great deal of energy, but the energy that these two days do provide can replenish our faith in the awe and wonder of our doing life. Yesterday might have had us upbeat and enjoying the camaraderie of friends and people with whom we interact. Today allows us to witness the synchronicity at play in this paradigm shift from linear, sequential reality into asequential reality where things happen in a random, often inexplicable, manner. Yes, magic is afoot with indications of mini-miracles. Increasingly, we are seeing signs of serendipity, those moments of synchronicity where we find ourselves being in the right place at the right time. It may happen by finding a parking space in a highly congested area and right in front of our destination. It could be thinking of someone and suddenly hearing from them. It might be our wondering about a refund check we’ve been long time awaiting showing up in our mailbox. All of these incidents, which may seem rather minor, are representative of these times of our new reality. The beauty of these times is the fact that things are occurring based upon a universal unfolding, the mechanics of which we might not be aware, but happening in spite of our being oblivious. We do not have to do it all. This Thursday allows us to see an incident or incidents where it would be hard for us to reason out how the situation[s] came about. By being receptive and open to receive, we could come to understand options and alternatives of which we were not cognizant but actually might be better than anything we had previously considered.

Friday, April 9th – Avoid Falling Down the Rabbit Hole – Mars, Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Friday has the Pisces Moon square Mars, the Moon conjunct Neptune, and the Moon sextile Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries early on Saturday morning. Mars squares Neptune. This is a day when we need to utilize due diligence and blend our reasoning mind with our intuitive sense in order not to be tricked or to rush forward without checking the parameters of the conditions around us. The liability today is going off impetuously and assuming that what we see is what we shall get. We could easily fall down the rabbit hole today if we are not careful, mindful and fully aware. A rush to judgement, a rush to action, and any rush today may prove disastrous. We have come off of two days when many things might have seemed to fall into place easily, but this is not one of those days. On the contrary, this is a day when appearance is unlikely to be matched by the reality of the situation. We may be exceptionally moody with our actions determined more by our emotions than by our serious consideration of the situation. Our mood swings can be extreme, and we could become resentful if things do not fall into place, which they are unlikely to do today. Let’s apply braking action and not go for broke. Reevaluation as we go along today may prevent us from falling down the rabbit hole.

Saturday, April 10th – Champing to Get Going – Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter. Saturday has the Moon moving into Aries. The Moon makes no connections to the planets today, and we are on the ”dark side” of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s Aries New Moon. Mercury sextiles Saturn today, and Venus sextiles Jupiter. We may be feeling inspired by someone, confident of our abilities, and wanting to get going with our springtime projects and new beginnings. Today is better served strategizing our plans and winning advocates to our side. Implementations are always best done under a waxing Moon, that two-week period between the New Moon and the Full Moon. Late tomorrow, we have the Aries New Moon, the New Moon that truly triggers the springtime season. Today, we can discuss with other people our intentions, set up the necessary components to accomplish our goals, and spend quality time with loved ones, good friends, and even new acquaintances. We may be champing at the bit to forge ahead, but we need to rein in our excitement and enthusiasm in order to take time to plan our trajectory and enjoy ourselves. This weekend is a good time for explorations and new surroundings, by which we get a fresh perspective regarding whatever we intend to do.

Sunday, April 11th – New Day, Truly New Year – Saturn, Mercury, Aries New Moon, Sun, Venus, Pluto. Sunday has the Aries Moon sextile Saturn, the Moon conjunct Mercury, and the Moon conjunct the Sun at the Aries New Moon late in the day [10:31 PM EDT]. Venus squares Pluto. We are still on the dark side of the Moon for much of this day, for the Aries New Moon doesn’t occur until late in the day, early on Monday morning in Europe. This is a day when we can find outlets for our creative self-expressions, no matter what format they might take. This weekend may be a highly social weekend whether we engage one particular person or a whole slew of people, and whether in person or through our social media platforms. We do have to be wary in our relationships not to be too self-absorbed or too critical. Extremes of attitude could tear asunder a connection. This Aries New Moon truly triggers the astrological new year and the spring season. We may be feeling the impetus of spring more strongly with a desire to put our mark on our activities, start new projects, and expand our scope and our involvements. The next two-week period can have us feeling optimistic and confident with a philosophical outlook about what is going on in society and in our own personal lives. This two-week period up to the Full Moon on the 26th may be a time when we begin new trajectories with the perspective of looking forward but with the need of recognizing past obligations and acknowledging society restrictions.
