We might question whether we can move ahead without being hindered by our past or our daily obligations. We could wonder whether we have moved too far too fast in trying to implement changes in our lives.

Winter 2008
This Winter is a time of significant transformation. Like the mythological bird phoenix on its funereal pyre to rise from its ashes, like Christianity’s Jesus the Christ crucified to resurrect and ascend; we as individuals, as a society and as a global community are likely to go through significant transformations. Old structures, old patterns, old ways of being may be sorely tested.

This November begins at a frenetic (or is it frantic?) pace. We may feel that we are all over the place, having to address our responsibilities and dealing with unexpected situations that could arise. We might even feel the earth shifting under our feet, both figuratively and literally. Yes, November starts with us betwixt and between, but we can easily question betwixt and between
