June 9th – 15th, 2025

The astrology for this week of June 9th through the 15th of 2025 can have us back on a wild ride of a roller coaster and suggests we wear figurative safety helmets to avoid hurting ourselves.

We start the week in battle mode, liable to feeling blocked, depressed, and disillusioned.  We may not have much energy to begin this week, so it would be wise for us to hide out or do as much as possible remotely.  We might want to taper back our expectations and our proposed schedule.

We have a major Sign change as Jupiter exits Gemini, a Sign of Detriment for Jupiter, and Jupiter enters Cancer for its one-year cycle through the Cardinal Water Sign.  Jupiter is in exaltation in Cancer.  Jupiter is going from a weak placement to a far stronger placement as Jupiter goes from Gemini into Cancer.

Highlighted during the year-long transit of Jupiter in Cancer are home and family matters, real estate, staycations, and a general desire to enjoy the comforts of one’s personal sanctuary.  The US is a Cancer nation and consequently we might see an upsurge in a sense of American exceptionalism, greater patriotism, and expansion for the nation.  While financial commentators have spoken of recession or depression and have attacked the economic policies of this present US administration, Jupiter in Cancer could indicate a greater expansion in the US economy.  This trend may be augmented by Uranus about to exit Taurus and enter Gemini, thereby heightening the technological revolution and the development of artificial intelligence.  We are moving further away from a labor market into a high-tech environment where less labor might be necessary except for a likely uptick of those people adept at the technological tools and productive techniques.

Mid-week gives us the Sagittarius Full Moon with a creative thrust and a desire for social engagements.  Let’s hope that interactions with people are to encourage and be encouraged to pursue optimum best and not some sort of weird ‘misery loves company’ routine.

We may feel blocked and frustrated that we’re dealing with a bumpy road rather than a smooth sailing freeway, but often obstacles allow us to tweak and fine tune how we are developing our projects and proceeding with our actions.

The weekend seems pleasant enough, although Father’s Day on Sunday cautions us against hasty and rash moves with a sense of past experiences dampening our present reality.

All in all, this week has its highs and lows and suggests that we be careful in our movements and accept the turbulent volatility of these times.

Monday, June 9th – Braking Actions – Lunar T-Square, Mars, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter Cancer.   Monday begins this week with the Moon finishing its transit of Scorpio with the Scorpio Moon today triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon square Mars and the Moon opposed Uranus.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost three hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius where today the Sagittarius Moon trines both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries and the Moon sextiles Pluto.  Mercury squares both Saturn and Neptune, Venus squares Pluto, and Jupiter exits Gemini to enter Cancer [5:02 PM EDT].  This day might be slow starting with a sense that we don’t have the energy or inclination to move ahead.  We could encounter various blockages early in the day, and we need to be wary as we try to proceed on this Monday.  Discussions can trigger resistance to our plans, or personal matters might demand our attention.  It is important that we be highly astute in our movements and decisions this week, since there could a proclivity to be rash and impetuous with a desire to just get things done, no matter how well executed or not, just to get them off our plate.  The less interactions with people today might be best, since some of the obstacles could be the discordant reaction by other people to our intentions.  Jupiter’s move into Cancer can give us more of a desire for the comforts of home with the sense of enjoying our personal sanctuary far from the craziness in the world and away from the maddening crowds.

Tuesday, June 10th – After the Deluge.  After what might have been one intense day yesterday, this Tuesday quiets down.  The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius but without making any connections to the planets today.  If we ventured out into the world yesterday and didn’t get body slammed or head bangers, then we should count our lucky stars.  After a highly intense Monday, this Tuesday is stark in contrast.  With a seesaw week this week, let’s take moments like this Tuesday to catch our breath, recharge our batteries, and enjoy the upbeat moments of doing life.  This Tuesday is a good day to step off the track and give ourselves a ‘ME’ day when we do whatever we want and just enjoy ourselves.  There are times when we are called to action, need to deal with challenging situations, and are forced to be on overdrive.  This Tuesday is not one of those days.  Enjoying the company of a good friend, participating in scintillating conversations, and walking on the sunny side of the street are recommendations for this Tuesday.  We can be upbeat today, but we do need to avoid hasty or rash actions, a caution for this entire week while we’re dealing with a Mars Uranus influence.

Wednesday, June 11th – By the Light of the Moon – Sagittarius Full Moon, Sun, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus.  Wednesday begins with the Sagittarius Full Moon when the Moon opposes the Sun [3:44 AM EDT].  The Moon trines Mars and then the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost six hours with the Moon making no further contacts to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn late in the day with the Capricorn Moon opposed Jupiter.  Mercury sextiles Venus.  We are moving into a highly creative time, a time when we may wish to pursue creative expression and begin projects that have our personal mark upon them.  Conversations can be pleasant exchanges.  No one seems to be stepping on toes but rather conciliatory and collaborative in interactions.  Perhaps we gained a second wind yesterday or changed our attitude, feeling less put upon and more engaged with the vitality and verve of springtime in process of transitioning into summer.  Late in the day, we could sense the beckoning of responsibilities, matters that we need to deal with over the next two days.  Planning our schedule would assist us to be highly accomplished.  Let’s keep in mind that this week is a week of days when certain days have us in overdrive, other days when there is little energy to proceed ahead.  We need to heed the signs of the energies, or lack thereof, and take advantage of days when we can plow ahead and other days when it would be wise for us to lay back.  Tomorrow may have us battling obstacles and obligations, so let’s make our plans tonight with a recognition that things tomorrow might take longer than we would like.

Thursday, June 12th – Calling All Angels – Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury, Venus.  Thursday has the Capricorn Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Capricorn Moon square both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, and the Moon opposed Mercury.  The Moon trines Venus.  Whenever we have a T-Square linking up three of the Signs of a particular Quadruplicity, we need to draw upon the fourth Element of that Quadruplicity to balance things out.  It’s like a car on three wheels needing the fourth wheel to operate effectively.  With this T-Square, the missing Element is Libra.  Fortunately, the Moon trine Venus, ruler of Libra, will assist us in finding the necessary balance.  Obligations and responsibilities today can put a damper on what we might prefer to do, but today and tomorrow are two days when we can do what needs to get done, especially with the upcoming weekend focused on Father’s Day and quite possibly turning attention away from our own mundane responsibilities to pay homage to our father and those father figures that came before us.  Today is a day to take care of what we need to get done.  We might resent what we find necessary to achieve today, especially after yesterday when our creative juices were flowing, but today is not a day to grouse about our responsibilities.  Our load could be lightened, our pathway cleared, thanks to a friend who offers us assistance.  Let’s draw upon support wherever we find it, even to the point of calling all angels.

Friday, June 13th – Keeping On.  The Moon continues its transit of Capricorn on this Friday, but the Moon makes no connections to the planets today.  Let’s not fear Friday the 13th when in truth the number thirteen indicates ascension from ego-driven perspectives into a soulful self-realization; not always an easy transition or one that we fully embrace.  Hopefully, we started taking care of necessary issues yesterday and can use this Friday to complete outstanding matters.  We might prefer to bring things to closure so that we can have the weekend free of our daily concerns.  We are coming into Father’s Day weekend, and our attention might revolve more around Father’s Day than dealing with our usual weekend routine.  There will be enough hanging over us this weekend without adding unfinished business associated with our usual involvements to our load.  Thursday and Friday of this week are two days for us to deal with our usual responsibilities.  Familial obligations come this weekend. Friday is a good day to keep on keeping on with our daily tasks.

Saturday, June 14th – Greased Wheels – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Venus.  Saturday begins the day with the Capricorn Moon trine Uranus.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for two hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius.  The Aquarius Moon today sextiles both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, the Moon conjuncts Pluto, and at the end of the day the Moon squares Venus.  The three transcendental planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all engaged today.  If we successfully addressed our responsibilities and outstanding matters yesterday, this Saturday can be a fun-filled day of good times with good friends.  Celebrating our father for this Father’s Day weekend might be far better today than on tomorrow’s official Father’s Day.  Everything seems to go swimmingly today, so let’s enjoy ourselves and our loved ones and our friends.  If we are not involved with Father’s Day weekend celebrations, this day could provide us the incentive and the insight to develop new interests and discover new trajectories for ourselves.  This Saturday is likely the most pleasant day of what we might have experienced this week as a roller coaster ride with several ups and downs, various twists and turns.  Let’s enjoy this Saturday but maintain mindfulness and awareness to avoid rash actions, impetuous movements, and the liability of accidents.

Sunday, June 15th – Hail to the Chief – Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn.  The Moon continues its transit of Aquarius, but the Aquarius Moon makes no connections to the planets today.  Mars squares Uranus, and Jupiter squares Saturn.  This is Father’s Day, a day we pay homage to Father.  For some people, this day celebrates all the good times with dear old dad; for others it’s a day that resurrects painful memories; for still others it provides a mixed bag of good times, bad times.  If we engage this day as Father’s Day, we are likely to be taken out of our present reality into past times, walks down Memory Lane, and recapitulations of where we came from.  Unfortunately, apart from the Aquarius Moon, the two energy configurations of the Mars Uranus square and the Jupiter Saturn square could prove problematic.  Besieged this past week with the Mars Uranus configuration, we need to avoid rash, impetuous actions with a liability of outbursts that don’t account for collateral damage or unintended consequences.  And with the Jupiter Saturn configuration, with which we have dealt for the past several months, a bungee jump-like quality of expansion contraction can have us feeling blocked and haunted by our past, who we have been rather than who we are in process of being.  This day calls for us to bite our tongue, keep calm, and prevent our temperament from getting the better of us.  As the saying goes: “this too shall pass.”
