June 2nd – 8th, 2025

The astrology for this week of June 2nd through the 8th of 2025 can be slow starting and aggravating until we pick up speed and things go from bad to far better.

The beginning of the week may be annoying.  We might feel in harness to our responsibilities and obligations and liable to resent the things that we need to do.  We would rather be frolicking about than deal with picayune mundane matters, but particulars and details may demand our attention.  Let’s just ‘grin and bear it’ and avoid whining or doing a half-assed job of it.

Relationships could be dicey at the beginning of the week with us feeling under the microscope and critiqued by someone of everything that we do.  Let’s not take any criticism personally but rather as I often suggest: “check the source and check their agenda.”  If someone thinks they can do a better job, then let them at it.

Mid-week, the energy shifts.  There might still be some hiccups in our interactions with other people.  The question of narcissistic behavior as opposed to collaborative camaraderie may be a push – pull but fortunately the latter disposition of engaging harmoniously will eventually win out.

The latter part of the week seems far better for our relationships.  We are likely feeling more upbeat, less stressed, and especially interested in enjoying ourselves.

Friday has Venus exiting Aries, a Sign of Detriment for Venus, with Venus entering Taurus, a Sign Venus rules.  The Stellium of three planets in Aries ends.  People could prove less demanding.

The other Stellium, the one in Gemini, ends on Sunday when Mercury exits its own Sign of Gemini and enters Cancer.

Sandwiched between possible good times on Friday and Sunday is Saturday with energies that could prove a little prickly and costly.

All in all, this week of June 2nd through the 8th can be a time of good times with good friends despite the occasional hiccups along the way.

Monday, June 2nd – Whistle While You Work – Sun.  Monday begins the week with the Moon in Virgo and with the Moon square the Sun late in the day.  This is a day for us to keep our head down and concentrate on all the details of our lives, our responsibilities, and our obligations.  Hopefully, we had some fun and enjoyed ourselves over this past weekend and are ready, willing, and able to put our nose to grindstone.  If we need to play catch-up with various routine matters, today is a day for us to do so.  Let’s keep our eye on the ball regarding our long-term goals with a recognition that to get there from here we might need to deal with specifics and particulars that will help us tie up loose ends and plant the seeds of our long-term ambitions.  Late in the day, we might encounter a naysayer, someone who may want to pop the balloon of our plans.  If they provide important information, that would be one thing, but we need to be cautious if the person only wants to criticize.  As I often suggest: “check the source and check their agenda.”  Some people resent other people flying and fulfilling their potential and such people can only denounce positive efforts, preferring to wallow in their own misery and hoping everyone will join them in their dystopian vision.  Enough with the Eeyores and Debbie Downers!  Why go there when life holds great beauty and bounty and opportunities to rise above the muck and the mire?

Tuesday, June 3rd – Down and Out – Mercury.  Tuesday continues with the Moon in Virgo with the Moon today square Mercury.  If we got into a funk last evening, we are liable to start this Tuesday in a similar vein.  People may be on edge and might decide to vent their frustrations with critical comments or put-downs of other people.  Monday and Tuesday of this week are two days when it might be wise for us to focus on what we need to get done.  We shouldn’t feel obliged to engage other people on these two days, but if we do, let’s be judicious with whom we choose to discuss plans or talk about what is going on for us.  Someone may seem highly anxious, rattled, and looking to vent by critiquing other people’s efforts.  I would suggest not being the person to be critiqued.  Conversations could largely be based on opinion with little true facts to back up any assertions.  We are living in a post-modern era, a period when the subjective becomes the objective, fact and data superseded by emotions, feelings, and consensus opinion.  We are living in a hallucinogenic Lewis Carroll landscape, where we have no real idea as to what is truly going on.  There is great truth in the saying that ‘silence is golden’, a suggestion especially apt for this Monday and Tuesday.  Even our own thoughts might be skewed to a belief that we are unlikely to pull off our greatest desires.  On Monday and Tuesday, we need to cut ourselves and other people a great deal of slack.

Wednesday, June 4th – Turning the Corner – Uranus, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Venus.  Wednesday has the Moon completing its transit of Virgo with the Virgo Moon trine Uranus and the Moon square Jupiter.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost two and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra where today the Libra Moon opposes both Saturn and Neptune, and the Moon trines Pluto.  The two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm, Venus and Jupiter, are in sextile aspect.  All three of the transcendental planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, are engaged today.  While we might start the day with the tendency to gloss over matters, we also have the opportunity of being aware of options and alternatives that could make our lives far better by either streamlining operations or by taking alternative trajectories.  This is a day for us to keep our antennae up and take advantage of any surprising developments.  After two days when we might have kept to ourselves, apart from other people, we may be far more interested in getting together with people later this Wednesday.  If we could put finishing touches to demanding matters early in the day, the latter part of the day would allow us to participate in social get-togethers.  This is a day for us to stay out of our own way but rather to be open to surprising developments and insightful comments from someone.  We are turning the corner today and move from focused intent on what is right in front of us to getting back into social engagements and looking to our future.

Thursday, June 5th – Help from a Friend – Sun, Mercury, Mars.  Thursday continues with the Moon in Libra with the Moon today trine the Sun.  Mercury sextiles Mars.  Whether we accomplished a great number of necessary matters over the past three days or not, this Thursday has us far more concerned about where we are going rather than where we have been or where we are.  With the encouragement from someone today, we could virtually move mountains. Once we are in gear and with game plan in hand, we can be highly determined to press ahead with our personal interests and long-term goals.  This is a day when brain and brawn are engaged.  We just need to focus and concentrate and not be distracted by immediate diversions which could be fun and engaging but would slow us down in moving ahead.  This is a day not to be lost on silliness.  Nor is it a day for us to go it solely alone as could have been the case earlier in the week.  On the contrary, this Thursday may have us drawing upon assistance, willing to collaborate, and open to the solid input from a trusted friend.  Yesterday began a pivot point for us from being attentive to what is right in front of us, the details and specifics of our daily life.  We might have started to look up yesterday, considered our long-term plans and taken a broader view of a wide range of possibilities for our future.

Friday, June 6th – Throwing Wide Open – Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Taurus.  Friday has the Moon completing its transit of Libra with the Libra Moon sextile Mars, and the Moon trine both Mercury and Jupiter both in Gemini.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost an hour and a half with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio late in the day.  Venus exits Aries, a Sign of Detriment for Venus, as Venus enters Taurus [12:43 AM EDT], a Sign that Venus rules.  Building upon the shift in our energies that occurred over the past two days, this Friday would be a prime day to enlist the support of someone.  Conversations can be scintillating with ‘feel good’ attitudes sprinkling discussions.  We could have a greater ‘can do’ attitude regarding our abilities to meet our challenges and to advance our interests.  Optimism and confidence may give us a thrust and certainly inspire us.  There’s no one-upmanship going on today, only willing encouragement and assistance.  The Venus change in Sign from Aries to Taurus ends the Stellium in the Cardinal Fire Sign and tamps down arrogance and narcissism.  We are more likely to present ourselves in the best light with a flair for good taste and appealing style. Getting together with friends could provide us with uplifting good times.   We may even consider a personal makeover in preparation of planned social events or just to add some verve and appeal to our appearance.  Friday and Sunday are two primo days for social engagements: Saturday not so much.

Saturday, June 7th – Off on the Wrong Foot – Lunar T-Square, Venus, Pluto.  Saturday has the Scorpio Moon triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed Venus and the Moon square Pluto.  After two days when everything seemed to be going our way, Saturday might start with us getting off on the wrong foot.  Thursday and Friday may have had us enjoying the company of other people.  This Saturday is liable to have us engaging in a push – pull with things either taking longer than we would like, more expensive than what we had bargained for, or finding us in odds with someone else.  There’s no need for us to engage a tug-of-war today, although we can begin the day in such a sentiment.  Today calls for us to have a great deal of patience, cut ourselves and other people a major amount of slack, and not get ornery by any frustrations we encounter.  The day may be slow starting and that could prove a good thing.  We just need to lose the attitude if we’re feeling angry or resentful.  Let’s recognize that life is about cycles and like the ocean waves there are times when we can be riding the crest, other times when we’re down in the trough.  After two days of enjoying ourselves, this Saturday might have us hitting the wall and frustrated by delays or obstacles in our way.  No need to vent our frustrations but rather just ‘grin and bear it’ should we encounter vexing situations.

Sunday, June 8th – Homeward Bound – Mercury, Jupiter, Mercury Cancer.  Sunday continues with the Scorpio Moon but with the Moon making no connections to the planets today.  Mercury conjuncts Jupiter just before Mercury exits Gemini to enter Cancer [6:58 PM EDT], followed on Monday with Jupiter entering Cancer.  Although there may not be a great amount of energy today to get things done, this is a day when we are likely feeling good, enthusiastic, and confident of our days ahead.  Getting together with a special someone or with friends can be exhilarating.  Our tendency might be to give thought to springtime projects around our home in preparation of summertime activities outdoors or our entertaining at home.  Day trips are another consideration, getting out of Dodge and just airing out in travel to locales close to home.  This can be a highly upbeat day.  We just need to control our overoptimism and prevent a ‘live for today’ attitude of irrational exuberance that could lead to impulse purchases and snap judgments.  The liability today is that we can get caught up in the moment and make hasty decisions.  Let’s enjoy ourselves, get out of our familiar routine, all the while that we maintain wise stewardship of our finances.
