The astrology for this week of June 5th through the 11th of 2023 suggests we keep our head down, avoid confrontations, and maintain a sense of humility.
As the saying goes: “Life’s too mysterious. Don’t take it serious.”
We have several Sign changes this week, and we shall need to be adept at navigating the shifting patterns.
Th week begins with Venus exiting Cancer to enter Leo [9:46 AM EDT] and in so doing triggering the Fixed Sign T-Square with which we have been dealing since May 20th when Mars entered Leo to set off the Fixed Sign T-Square.
Relationships may be dicey this week with people jockeying for position. Frustrations are liable to abound with suggestions that we look to options and alternatives that we had not previously taken into account.
We can be highly productive if we stick to what we need to get done. We might not wish to brook any interference, and suggestions from other people are likely to fall upon deaf ears.
By going it alone, doing our own thing, we could become aware of the most streamlined means to accomplish our goals. There may be naysayers aplenty, but it would be wise to pay them no mind.
Much of the week could prove a seesaw between our being highly productive and our being entangled in personal dramas. Concentration on the former diminishes the power of the latter to trip us up.
The end of the week and the weekend are far preferable for taking some ‘down time’, reflecting on what we have done over the week and where we intend to go in the days ahead.
The weekend closes out on Sunday with Pluto retrograding back into Capricorn [5:47 AM EDT], ending the Fixed Sign T-Square that has dogged us since May 20th, and with Mercury entering its own Sign of Gemini [6:27 AM EDT], ending the Stellium of three planets in Taurus.
The US may have seemed to successfully address the debt ceiling issue and averted a US debt default, BUT Pluto back into Capricorn suggests there may be more teetering of the US financial system yet to come.
Monday, June 5th – Humility Called For – Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Pluto, Venus Leo. Monday begins this week with the Moon entering Capricorn where today the Moon trines Jupiter and the Moon sextiles Saturn. Venus exits Cancer to enter Leo [9:46 AM EDT] adding to the Fixed Sign T-Square and with Venus opposed Pluto today. We may be focused on what we need to get done, and we could be highly accomplished in our efforts today. We are looking out for number one, and therein could lie a problem for relationships. People can suddenly seem more self-affirming, or self-important, and relationships might suffer in consequence. Not everyone is going to be as compassionate or caring as they may have seemed over the past month. On the contrary, some folks could be grandstanding, championing their exploits with little regard for anyone else’s interests or concerns. A little humility may be called for if we don’t want to create relationship crises. Why lose the benefits of being highly productive by getting into useless competitions with someone that are unnecessary distractions that only divert our attention from our concentrated efforts? Let’s focus on what we wish to pursue today without feeling the need for either adulations from others or the competitive urge to be top dog.
Tuesday, June 6th – Expedited Pursuits – Uranus, Mercury. Tuesday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today trine both Uranus and Mercury both in Taurus. If we didn’t get involved in personal mud wrestling contests yesterday but focused instead on our individual tasks, this Tuesday proceeds with a highly effective and productive carrying out of our routine obligations and efforts leading to a realization of our goals. Monday and Tuesday might prove the two most constructive days of this week. They may be less light and airy, but they can have us take a serious tone with a concentration on practical accomplishment. Our mind is likely to be sharp today with an ability to think outside the box and employ the most innovative and streamlined means by which to expedite our involvements and advance our long-term interests. Nothing is liable to fall between the cracks today, for we are considering the long-term implications of our efforts, utilizing the most ingenious ways and with an eye on the specifics and the particulars that make up the whole. It would be suggested that we keep our eyes and ears open, since major insights could grease the wheels of our efforts.
Wednesday, June 7th – Sublime to Ridiculous – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Lunar T-Square, Pluto, Venus, Jupiter, Mars. Wednesday begins with the Capricorn Moon sextile Neptune early in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes is transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius early on this Wednesday. The Aquarius Moon today triggers the Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon conjunct Pluto, the Moon square Jupiter, and the Moon opposed both Venus and Mars both in Leo. After two days that may have been highly productive and when we could have achieved a great amount, this Wednesday seems to play out the concept of ‘from the sublime to the ridiculous’. We need to be wary of excess today, buying fool’s gold rather than the real thing with our hopes and wishes being extravagant or needless diversions. We can be looking toward our future and tripping ourselves up by not paying attention as to what is right in front of us. We are unwilling to accede to any naysayers and only to those people who will affirm our choices. This is a day when we could be oblivious to the obvious, act willfully without either vetting our plans or being judicious in our actions. If we experience any resistance, we are more likely to push forcefully forward rather than consider what we are being asked to consider before moving ahead. This is a day when it would be important for us to pull in the reins but with us unlikely to do so.
Thursday, June 8th – Monkey Wrenches – Sun, Uranus. Thursday continues with the Aquarius Moon with the Moon today trine the Sun, and the Moon square Uranus. We may feel all is right in our world, as we perceive it to be. With someone liable to encourage our ‘la-de-da’ attitude, we can blithely begin the day with us assuming everything will neatly fall into the place just because we want it to. But we had better watch out for those universal whacks to the side of the head. We are in the midst of a paradigm shift, a time when it is essential that we expect the unexpected. On a positive level, the unexpected can bring magic and mini-miracles, serendipity, and a realization of being in the right place at the right time. We might have experienced such a positive expression of this paradigm shift on Tuesday of this week. On the flip side, a less positive level, the unexpected can bring monkey wrenches that upset our plans. This Thursday might provide evidence of the latter with unanticipated incidents ripping up our plans or causing additional expenses for which we had not budgeted. The main characteristics necessary for these times are mindfulness, awareness, flexibility, and adaptability. We need to alter our course, our focus, and our behavior in accord with unexpected variables. Today asks us not to get caught up in irrational exuberance but rather be vigilant to effectively deal with the changing tides.
Friday, June 9th – Trust our Instincts – Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune. Friday begins with the Aquarius Moon square Mercury early in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost six hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon moves into Pisces. The Pisces Moon today sextiles Jupiter, and the Moon conjuncts Saturn. Mercury sextiles Neptune. One of the fallibilities of these times is the sole trust in the empirical when things now can change suddenly and dramatically. Let’s keep in mind that this paradigm shift is moving us from linear, sequential reality of beginning, middle and end into asequential reality where things often occur in the most inexplicable ways. Thursday and early Friday can give lie to the reliance on what we believe to be valid based upon the so-called ‘tried and true’. Unexpected incidents might have arisen yesterday, and we might have to rethink what we’re doing and how we’re doing it on this Friday. This is a day for us to ‘feel’ into situations and trust our instincts to assess what is truly going on. We can blend our intuition with critical analysis to come up with ‘right’ answers. Our emotions are likely heightened today, so we must be wary of manic – depressive swings where we can be elated one moment only to fall into despair the next. Life is all about balance, which during these disruptive, tumultuous times could seem like surfing tsunamis.
Saturday, June 10th – Switching Gears – Sun, Uranus. The Pisces Moon today squares the Sun and the Moon sextiles Uranus. We might have a lot planned for this day with the intention of juggling any number of things. Let’s draw upon time management skills to accomplish what we wish to get done and not exhaust ourselves in the process, for the latter part of the day could offer us some interesting surprises. If we would take the time to relax [remember that wonderful state of being when we took time to catch our breath, reinvigorate ourselves, and not be constantly ‘on’?], we would have the energy to take advantage of exciting events later in the day and during the evening. We don’t need to put a kibosh on our activities during the day. We just need to pace ourselves, so that we have the energy to fully participate in evening activities. This Saturday is a day when we could be switching gears with the idea of our doing our various planned things early in the day with a sense of control over our involvements, while the evening opens the door to the magic and mini-miracles of these times where unplanned entertainment can present itself with great fun and excitement.
Sunday, June 11th – It’s Baaack – Neptune, Pluto, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto Capricorn, Mercury Gemini. Sunday has the Moon finishing its transit of Pisces with the Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune and the Moon sextile Pluto after Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn [5:47 AM EDT]. The Moon then moves into Aries where the Moon sextiles Mercury after Mercury exits Taurus to enter its own Sign of Gemini [9:43 AM EDT], and the Aries Moon trines Venus. Before Mercury enters Gemini, Mercury in Taurus trines Pluto back in Capricorn. The two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm, Venus and Jupiter, are in square aspect as Venus squares Jupiter. WOW! Hopefully, we used yesterday and the past several days to regroup, catch our breath and recharge our batteries. For this Sunday is one high energy day with various significant shifts and energy changes. Pluto retrograding back into Capricorn ends Pluto’s brief foray into Aquarius that offered us a prelude of what we might experience over the next twenty years when Pluto is transiting Aquarius. It was interesting that the day Pluto entered Aquarius the executives of high tech companies testified before Congress. We might have also experienced during this two and a half months transit of Pluto in Aquarius various computer issues, Internet disruptions and technology problems. We also became more aware of the good, the bad and the ugly that we are liable to experience in collective society with the development of artificial intelligence [AI]. It was also interesting to note that as Pluto was about to exit Capricorn back in the latter part of March, we had various banking problems with the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank, First Republic, and Deutsche Bank propping up Credit Suisse. When Pluto first entered Capricorn back in 2008, we witnessed the liability of a global financial implosion. It’s baack and as that great New York Yankees philosopher Yogi Berra would say: “It ain’t over till it’s over.” This year, next year, when Pluto is transiting Capricorn, various traditional institutions may act out the concept of ‘adapt or die’. In finance, the question of whether central banks with their ESG agenda will be able to successfully employ central bank digital currencies [CBDC] or whether decentralized finance [DEFI] with block chain technology and cryptocurrencies will hold sway. Mercury coming into its own Sign of Gemini ends the Stellium in the Fixed Sign of Taurus and may have our minds thinking about all sorts of things but with very little depth involved. The Moon ends its monthly cycle through the Zodiac and begins a new monthly transit through the Zodiac as the Moon exits Pisces and enters Aries. We may be more interested in initiations and beginnings and having fun, but we also need to avoid excesses in our indulgences and our expenditures. This Sunday is one high intensity day and a day when we need to maintain balance and tone down our intensity.
