The astrology for this week of June 3rd through the 9th of 2024 may have people talking a blue streak, all the while juggling any number of activities.
The week begins with Mercury exiting Taurus to enter its own Sign of Gemini and adding to the Mutable Air Sign Stellium as Mercury joins the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter in Gemini. Good times, all we want are good times. We may be feeling the warmth of the approaching summer season with a sense of romance in the air.
Certainly, this week seems highlighted by our conversations and our relationships. We do need to be aware that past situations and old connections could intrude upon our happy place.
While the Gemini Stellium may speak to the immediate and the possible, the Gemini-transiting planets will also square Saturn bringing up issues of unresolved issues. It might feel like we’re doing the Texas two-step of two steps forward, one step back, one step forward, two steps back.
Although we don’t want anyone or anything to intrude on our intentions, the demands of outstanding matters could serve as braking actions to keep us from becoming like a runaway train barreling ahead out of control.
Thursday has the Gemini New Moon with a conjunction to Venus and a square to Saturn. With the New Moon influence over the next two weeks to the Full Moon on the 21st, we may be involved with any number of social occasions and reunions. Some gatherings we are likely to enjoy, others may offer a mirror of where we are compared to who we have been. Relationships can be highlighted with delightful moments with our special someone.
The weekend might prove dicey. Get-togethers may not be what we would hope for, and it would be best to dispense with any expectations. Saturn beguiles us on both Saturday and Sunday leading to the liability of our being frustrated or disappointed. Mars exits its own Sign of Aries to enter Taurus, a Sign of Detriment for Mars.
The week starts off on a high note, but the weekend might leave us with a sour taste.
Monday, June 3rd – Chatter – Pluto, Mercury Gemini. Monday starts the week with the Moon exiting Aries and entering Taurus where today the Taurus Moon squares Pluto. Mercury exits Taurus to enter its own Sign of Gemini [3:37 AM EDT] increasing the impact of the Mutable Air Sign as Mercury joins the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter in the Gemini Stellium. Some of our plans for the day might hit a wall, especially if our focus is on our future rather than our present. If we feel blocked in our forward movement, we could spend the day spinning our wheels lost in a maze of doing this, that and the other. Or we may just take the day in various conversations with a wide range of topics but all somewhat shallow and with little depth. Have you noticed the frequency of conversations that has gone on from two weeks ago when we started the barrage of Gemini-transiting planets? We need to be wary that today is not one of those days when people talk their talk but are unable to walk their talk. Whatever discussions we engage today and through the first half of this month we need to take with a grain of salt.
Tuesday, June 4th – Top of the Game – Saturn, Uranus, Mercury, Pluto, Jupiter, Sun, Venus. Tuesday has the Taurus Moon sextile Saturn early in the day, and the Moon conjunct Uranus late in the day. Mercury trines Pluto, and Mercury conjuncts Jupiter. The Sun conjuncts Venus. This Tuesday can have us at the top of our game. We can strategize a best practices approach to address whatever we need to get done, but it would be wise for us not to get locked into how we are doing things, for late in the day we could make some time-saving adjustments by innovative means. Even if the weather is hurricane force winds and torrential rain, nothing is likely to rain on our parade. We are more likely feeling optimistic and confident, walking in sunshine, and smelling the flowers. This Tuesday can be a primo day and ripe for great relationships with our loved ones, that special someone, and strangers we meet along the way. Everyone might seem buoyed by today’s energy. We may make great strides today, fully enjoy being alive and engage other people who are feeling a similar way. Let’s not lose the opportunity of this wondrous day, but let’s also not be blithely oblivious to occurrences in the world-at-large.
Wednesday, June 5th – As if Kissed by the Gods – Neptune, Pluto, Jupiter, Mercury. Wednesday has the Taurus Moon sextile Neptune before the Moon exits Taurus to enter Gemini, where today the Gemini Moon trines Pluto, and the Moon conjuncts both Jupiter and Mercury. Continuing yesterday’s ‘feel good’ tendencies, this Wednesday could have us making plans for our future engagements. Talk may swirl around getaways, get-togethers, and future intentions. This early June through mid-June can be an abbondanza of good times and good friends. If ever there was a time to truly enjoy ourselves, to see life as upbeat and inspiring, it might be this first half of June. Nothing needs to be taken too seriously. As the saying goes: “Life’s too mysterious. Don’t take it serious.” Even if we are operating only on a superficial level, engaging the variety of a wide array of interests, we might discover some interesting and significant kernels of understanding that could assist in our way forward.
Thursday, June 6th – A Fine Romance – Gemini New Moon, Sun, Venus, Saturn. Thursday has the Gemini Moon conjunct the Sun at the New Moon [8:38 AM EDT] with the New Moon configuration conjunct Venus and square Saturn. This New Moon signature imprints the next two weeks up to the Full Moon on the 21st. With the New Moon being in the second decanate of Gemini [Libra], much of the next two weeks can highlight relationships. It is often said that June is a month of weddings with the concept of the ‘June bride’, and certainly this two-week period highlights weddings, special relationships, good friends, and various reunions. While we might be enjoying present events and looking forward to the future, there can also be reminders of the past. If we encounter people from our past or old situations, let’s enjoy the reconnection or use them as a mirror to see where we are now compared to where we were then. Although we can feel as though we are operating on greased wheels with things going quickly and easily, we could also encounter some bumps in the road necessitating braking action. Delays and frustrations are possible, so it would be wise for us to have contingency plans just in case we need to skirt mishaps. It may not all be peaches and cream, but many of our incidents over the next two weeks might seem so. As with every New Moon, it would be wise for us to give thought to our intentions for the two weeks ahead. This New Moon largely revolves around good fellowship and love filtering through the air.
Friday, June 7th – On the Wrong Foot – Mars, Neptune. Friday has the Moon completing its transit of Gemini in the early morning hours with the Gemini Moon sextile Mars and the Moon square Neptune. The Moon then moves into Cancer but makes no connections to the planets today. After much of this week being upbeat and pleasant, we might assume that the good times will go on and on and on. While that would certainly be wished for, it can prove unrealistic, even delusional. We could be fast out the door as we begin our day. Some of us may be traveling for some celebratory event this weekend. Certainly, stretching our wings might seem in order if we start our weekend early. With the Moon moving into Cancer for today and much of this weekend, much of our attention may be placed on home and family matters. We shall have to tread carefully due to the Saturn squares tomorrow and Sunday. It is important that we shift attitude. The past few days could have been especially pleasant when we are likely to have been easily gliding along filled with good cheer, but the next two days are liable to have hiccups with delays and dealings with a dysfunctional person, people, or situation. Let’s not go into this weekend blithely assuming everything will go smoothly and easily. Forewarned is forearmed, and we needn’t be surprised by issues or problems over the next two days.
Saturday, June 8th – Anticipations Worse than Occurrences – Venus, Saturn. Saturday begins with Venus square Saturn and ends with the Cancer Moon trine Saturn. We might be fraught with anxiety as we start this day. If we have commitments to meet, we may feel put upon as we accede to certain obligations. Someone could make matters worse by expecting more from us than initially indicated. Relationships might be a little dicey today. Saturday can start off with delays and frustrations, quite a change from just a few days ago when everything seemed to go swimmingly. Not that everything today is a problem or convoluted. We might not be in the mood for plans already made. Some people may be feeling socially anxious. Should we have a sense that issues can arise, let’s keep in mind that whatever we engage today may be a several hours involvement, but once completed, is over and done with. Reconnections with people from our past can be uncomfortable but would also provide us a mirror as to where we were once compared to where we are now. It provides us the opportunity to see our growth and development through various experiences over the years and how our paths have diverged. Anticipations could prove worse than the actual occurrence. Any social gatherings that we were dreading early in the day could in fact turn out to be pleasant interchanges in the evening. We just need to keep topics light and airy and not poke any bears.
Sunday, June 9th – Taking it Down a Notch – Uranus, Neptune, Lunar T-Square Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Sun, Saturn, Mars Taurus. Sunday has the Cancer Moon sextile Uranus and the Moon trine Neptune. The Moon then exits Cancer and enters Leo where today the Leo Moon triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed Pluto and the Moon square Mars, which earlier today exited its own Sign of Aries to enter Taurus [12:35 AM EDT], a Sign of Detriment for Mars. The Moon ends the day with a sextile to Jupiter. The Sun squares Saturn. This Sunday is one action-packed day that can leave us exhausted or totally burnt out. We might not have the greatest energy when we first start the day. Yesterday could have taken its toll, for which we pay on this Sunday. It would be wise for us to be in a more receptive mood today rather than a proactive tendency. We are not operating on all cylinders today and might find ourselves confronted by someone who is belligerent with a chip on their shoulder. This is not a time for us to counter with aggressive actions. On the contrary, this day calls for taking things down a notch or two and not reacting to any incendiary situations. Although there is a great deal of energy, much of it is stuck waiting to be violently released, so the better course of action would be to step away from any intense interactions and find steam vents in healthy recreational activities for our pent-up energy. We might even consider staying home and pulling up the bed covers over our head. This Sunday is hardly a day of rest but rather a highly intense and volatile day.
