The astrology for this week of February 26th through March 3rd of 2024 can have us on an emotional swing between exuberance and despair with our ‘read’ of situations based largely on our emotional reactions rather than our critical analysis.
After a restless night, Monday starts the week with us reaching out to a trusted confidante who can strip away the gloss, the decorative and the superficial to get to the heart of the matter and tell us how it really is.
With a liability of our starting this week in overdrive, we need to know where we are going at such an accelerated pace and the purpose of our going there.
The week continues with the two Stelliums in the two universal Signs of Aquarius and Pisces. We might be more engrossed in what we want and how we want to do it rather than conventional standards and measures.
Have you noticed the intensity and aggression of drivers on the road? We have people accelerating through red lights, switching from left to right through three lanes of traffic with little regard, and any number of mishaps in consequence of rash actions.
Many of us likely embrace a sentiment of “Stop the world. I want to get off.”
It seems as if whenever we venture out of our sanctuary of safe space, we need to gird our loins, be intensely mindful, and maintain a sober and calm attitude to the hurly-burly of life right now.
After a surfeit of illusions and delusions early in the week, mid-week could have us falling prey to victimhood with its reaction of playing the ‘blame game’. The lack of accountability and responsibility makes bad situations somebody else’s fault and relieves people of guilt, or so people may think. Eventually, bad judgment, wrong decisions, and reckless steps taken do catch up to the perpetrator. They call it ‘karma’ with a realization of the truth that ‘what goes around comes around.’
We can climb up from the depths during the latter part of the week if we would tone down our appetites and spend time ridding the excesses from our lives. Although ‘less is more’ is not always a popular sentiment, it may be one we engage towards the end of the week as we pay attention to our base of operations and determine what to focus on and what we need to eliminate.
After wild emotional swings during the week, the weekend could be a time for us to spread our wings, embrace the joy of living, and explore new and different activities. This may prove a good weekend to recharge our batteries, reinvigorate ourselves but all in moderation and restraining ourselves from excessive indulgence.
Monday, February 26th – Me and My Shadow – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto. The early morning hours of this Monday has the Moon completing its transit of Virgo with the Virgo Moon opposed Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes is transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra where today the Libra Moon trines Pluto. Our sleep state could be restless with a sense of overwhelm due to the feeling of all that we need to do and a sense of having to respond to situations rather than taking a proactive stance. Fortunately, someone might prove a reliable and supportive advocate of our intentions. We can find solace and courage in shadowing someone with an objective, detached perspective who can encourage us in the pursuit of our dreams. A conversation or text may prove the necessary push to propel our plans and our future projects into action. Almost like a guardian angel, the right person, the right message, the right signal comes forward during these times of paradigm shift to offer us a clue in the scavenger hunt of life’s progression. Let’s admit that in these turbulent times we do not have to do it all but keep in mind the inspirational poem Footprints in the Sand.
Tuesday, February 27th – All In – Mars, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Jupiter. Tuesday continues with the Libra Moon with the Moon today trine both Mars and Venus both in Aquarius. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for thirty-two and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio late on Wednesday. Mars squares Jupiter. With yesterday’s possible encouragement for us to advance our future interests, we can pursue our plans and do so with gusto today. Our optimism can be brimming over, and it would be wise for us not to be impetuous or get ahead of oneself and assume that everything will work out the way we want it to by our willing it so and by our persistent determination to make it so. A liability of going too far out on a limb cannot be discounted today. We may have indefatigable energy and confidence today, but it would be wise for us to modulate our actions and our decisions. Too much of anything today could lead us down a garden path to nowhere. We may still have the support of someone, but we need to question whether that supporter is solely a ‘yes’ person who would encourage us no matter what our pursuit might be. Applying brakes now and then today might help us avoid crashing into a wall, both figuratively and literally.
Wednesday, February 28th – Stuck in the Muddle – Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Mercury, Saturn. The Void-of-Course Moon that began yesterday with the Libra Moon making no further connections to the planets continues through much of this Wednesday until late in the day when the Moon exits Libra to enter Scorpio. Despite the lack of energy from lunar aspects, today has the Sun conjunct both Mercury and Saturn, and Mercury conjunct Saturn. This Wednesday can be one moody, highly emotional day with the liability of the Eeyores and Debbie Downers out in force. Instead of falling prey to negativity and victimhood, we could use this day as a spiritual retreat where, by means of uplifting music, inspiring literature or connecting with nature, we can nurture and replenish ourselves. Although our society tends to focus on the material with the materialistic and secular touted to be our gods, we can be contrarians and engage the en-chantment of something greater than the ego and the personal ‘I’. We are both physical, material being and spiritual, soul essence. Today, the energy offers us the ability to engage the latter. Failing to address our spirit character, we might blind ourselves to the full, holistic experience of living, feeling only reactive to circumstance and as nothing more than a pawn in life’s game. Today offers us the choice of being reactive to life conditions or taking the proactive approach by accepting a magical wand. These disruptive, tumultuous times incite incidents to occur suddenly, dramatically, in the most unexpected manner and in virtually a nanosecond of time. How we respond to life is our choice, always our choice.
Thursday, February 29th – Leaping Lizards – Lunar T-Square, Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn, Sun, Mercury. Thursday has the Scorpio Moon triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square as the Scorpio Moon squares Pluto in Aquarius early in the day, and the Moon opposes Jupiter in Taurus late in the day. The Moon also trines three of the four Pisces transiting planets as the Moon trines Saturn, the Sun, and Mercury. Mercury sextiles Jupiter. This Thursday is leap day, the additional day we add onto the month of February every four years to make up for the 365 ¼ days per year. Like a bungee jump, we could feel a burst of expansive energy only to be yanked back by delays, frustrations and having gone out too far, too fast. While we might consider what we can add to our environment to embellish a sense of sanctuary, it may be far better for us to give thought to how we could pare down, get rid of, and make more space in our environment. Cleaning up and clearing out would be a good first step to later additions. Our sensitivity can be ratcheted up and we might ‘feel’ out what works for us and what we need to eliminate. Let’s do the preliminaries before we go out shopping. Giving deliberate thought to our material transformations may be a solid reflection of our internal work and personal transformation. We just don’t need to rush the river but can enjoy the process of transitions and alterations.
Friday, March 1st – Getting on With It – Lunar T-Square, Mars, Venus, Uranus, Sun, Jupiter. Friday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon again triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square but with different players from yesterday as the Scorpio Moon today squares both Mars and Venus both in Aquarius and the Moon opposes Uranus in Taurus. The Sun sextiles Jupiter. Thursday and Friday of this week have a similar feel. On the one hand, we may be feeling upbeat and confident about our future projects. Perhaps a flavor of ‘spring fever’ entices us with a wide world of possibilities, all easily negotiable and achievable in concept, liable to be far more difficult in implementation. No matter what the delays might be, all with unexpected expenses and unanticipated difficulties along the way, we are likely engaging the belief that ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ with the added allure of the paradigm shift in which we are operating with its magical and miraculous characteristics. We may want to get on with ‘it’ whatever our ‘it’ might be, but there can be hiccups along the way today. Advocates earlier in the week can turn sour and now be naysayers to our endeavors. We might question whether our intentions are but a fool’s errand and one in which we have neither the capability nor the resources to successfully attain our goal in mind. Stalling on Thursday and Friday could prove frustrating, but it would be wise to avoid our society’s usual panacea of just throwing money at a problem. The timing for implementation is off on this Thursday and Friday, so it would be wise for us to be moderate in our actions and in our decisions and not attempt to force conditions to our will.
Saturday, March 2nd – Take Five – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto. Saturday begins with the Moon completing its transit of Scorpio with the Scorpio Moon trine Neptune in the early morning. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for six hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon moves into Sagittarius where today the Moon sextiles Pluto. This Saturday is a day for us to spread our wings, explore wide realms and get out of our familiar routine. After an emotional week with its swings high and swings low, this weekend gives us a breather, at least on this Saturday. Let’s not feel encumbered by demands or obligations but rather throw off the shackles of responsibilities and enjoy a free-flowing, exciting and adventuresome Saturday. Whether literally or figuratively, this day is a day to get out of Dodge. Either physically traveling and participating in interesting activities or staying home and investigating subjects and projects that we don’t normally take the time to engage. This could be considered a ‘free’ day when we allow ourselves to do whatever we choose to do. Options and alternatives may rule this day, so let’s oblige and fully enjoy ourselves.
Sunday, March 3rd – Too Many Choices – Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus. Sunday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today square three of the Pisces-transiting planets as the Moon squares Saturn, the Moon squares the Sun, and the Moon squares Mercury. Late in the day, the Moon sextiles Venus, which earlier today had Venus square Uranus. After what might have been a relaxing, fun-filled Saturday, Sunday could prove to be anything but. We can have so much on our plate in the way of possibilities that we either become slightly catatonic at all the options we could engage, or we might find ourselves racing around indulging in excess any number of activities and involvements. Our sense of overwhelm may have this day slow starting with a tendency to stay under the covers longer than usual before launching into our Sunday. The classic song highlighted a manic Monday, but today could seem like a frenetic Sunday. So much for the proverbial day of rest since we are unlikely to have much on this Sunday. To start the day, someone could poke us into action, but their suggestions might not truly warrant following. Everyone could have a bit of an ‘edge’ on as we start this Sunday. It can be a sort of Goldilocks Day, where this is not quite right, that is not quite right, until we accept something that might just be okay but not necessarily superlative. We need to avoid grousing or wearing ourselves out today. Stepping off the track, getting out into nature and seeing the divine in everything and everyone would be a palliative to our racing around in circles mindlessly and emotionally. Late in the day, our relationships seem better as amends our made for being a little too hyper earlier.
