The astrology for this week of November 27th through December 3rd of 2023 can have us in a manic holiday phase enjoying the opportunity to step away from the goings-on in the world-at-large but also stirring our ability to be highly productive, if we choose to do so.
Once again, we might find ourselves in an either / or situation, although we could blend both our holiday spirits and our impulse to effectively get things done.
The week begins with the Gemini Full Moon. We may be dazed by the many options and various alternatives as to what to do and where to go. We could be all over the place as we start this week. We just need to avoid exhausting ourselves by trying to do too much or trying to do it all.
The mid-week can provide a respite from the hurly-burly, frenzied energy of these times. We might seek refuge in our home and family, the comforts of the familiar within the storm-tossed seas of the paradigm shift when things can occur in the most inexplicable ways.
The end of the week gives us grounding, as we take on a more serious tone. Our unbridled exuberance may be tempered as we decide to organize our affairs and schedule our commitments. We are liable to do a paring down of our involvements by focusing on those matters and those people that we consider truly significant, all the while cutting loose participations that have proven only distractions and unnecessary diversions.
Engaging our charm and diplomacy would go a long way to smoothing our transition from too much to just right and would make our life far more manageable and enjoyable.
Monday, November 27th – Gemini Full Moon, Sun, Mercury, Neptune. Monday begins the week with heightened energy as the Moon opposes the Sun at the Full Moon [4:16 AM EST]. Mercury squares Neptune. Although this past week was highlighted in the US by the Thanksgiving Day holiday and the ‘official’ kickoff of the holidays season, we could start this week with our engine racing, our emotions intensified, but our clarity lacking. We might consider all that we need to do, all that we want to do, but have scant ability to focus or define an appropriate trajectory. Travel today and tomorrow could be convoluted, so it would be important for us to pack a large dose of patience if we are going out and about. Our communications might not be the clearest with a liability of non sequiturs peppering our discussions. It would be important for us to slow things down, apply the brakes, and not get caught up in the frenzy of these times. There has been, and continues to be, so much thrown at us that it’s hard for us to decipher what is really going on and how to determine the best avenue to proceed down. Monday and Tuesday can have us all over the place stirred on by the insistence of the holidays marketing of enforcing good times by us doing more, more, and ever more. There are times when less is more.
Tuesday, November 28th – Life Savers – Venus, Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday continues with the Gemini Moon with the Moon today trine Venus, and the Moon triggering a Mutable T-Square as the Moon squares Neptune and the Moon opposes Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost six hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer early on Wednesday morning. We might continue the frantic pace of yesterday on this Tuesday. Our saving grace might be the suggestions and advice of a trusted friend, who might serve as a grounding for our wide-ranging considerations of possibilities. It would be wise for us to draw upon the detached perspective of someone to test and judge our various engagements. Failing to concentrate our energies on the truly meaningful could only exhaust us or have us going in circles. We might believe that we have so much to do, but proper planning would also engage a best practices approach. Someone could be highly helpful in our discerning the important from the waste of time. Monday and Tuesday of this week are two days when we need to keep from getting caught up in the frenzy of the holidays season.
Wednesday, November 29th – Trusted and True – Saturn, Jupiter. Wednesday has the Moon moving into Cancer where today the Cancer Moon trines Saturn in the early morning hours, and the Moon sextiles Jupiter later in the day. After two intense high energy days, things settle down on this Wednesday. Although we might have felt that we were going from pillar to post these past two days, we can get a better grip on our affairs on this Wednesday. This is a day for us to rely on the familiar and feel more in command of situations than we might have felt yesterday or the day before. By taking our time to strategize what we wish to accomplish, we can be more effective with less expenditure of energy. We might want to spend time with family and at home rather than rushing around in the holiday crush. We may have a great deal of energy, but there’s no need to dissipate it by getting caught up in holiday frenzy. This day can also be a time of stillness, the quietude of peace that we create for ourselves. If we deal with matters in a focused and calm manner, not only could we accomplish a lot, but we would also appreciate all that we have been able to achieve. We may also feel more relaxed and in synch with the true essence of the holidays — spirit over matter. Wednesday is a good day to take our time, do what we need to do, but with no pressure.
Thursday, November 30th – Engaging the Spirit – Uranus. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer with the Cancer Moon today sextile Uranus. The holiday season is a time of year when the veils between dimensions are a great deal thinner. The opportunity to be aware of extraordinary dimensions, extra ordinary because they lie beyond our daily consciousness, are greater at this time of year and enhanced even more so during this paradigm shift with the breakdown of our fourth dimension reality into the fifth dimension where space-time breaks down and we are more aware of life’s continuum with the past, present and future all NOW. This Thursday could provide us glimpses into the magic and the mini-miracles of the paradigm shift. There may not be a great deal of energy and a great deal less static. In the stillness, there can be greater clarity, and we could be made aware of unexpected opportunities, surprising developments. Although the tendency at this time of the year is to whip up emotions and flog the holiday spirit with commercialism and indulgence, a day like today would offer greater benefit by our being still and attuned to whatever seems to be going on. This is a day to be open to receive and to appreciate the mystery of living life at this most incredible time of awakening, transformation, and ascension of consciousness.
Friday, December 1st – Celebrate Holiday Spirit – Neptune, Lunar T-Square, Venus, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Mercury Capricorn. Friday begins with the Moon finishing its transit of Cancer with the Cancer Moon trine Neptune and the Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Cancer Moon square Venus and the Moon opposed Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost three hours as the Moon completes its transit of Cancer without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Leo where late in the day the Leo Moon trines Mars. Mercury exits Sagittarius, a Sign of Detriment for Mercury, and enters Capricorn [9:31 AM EST]. With Mercury entering Capricorn, we are likely to take a more serious tone in our thoughts and ideas, and possibly be a great deal more practical. Mercury in Capricorn may diminish our diffuse, upbeat but unsubstantiated thinking that we might have experienced while Mercury was in Sagittarius. The Stellium in Sagittarius ends. Some of our step away from a ‘blissed out’ disposition can be evident but not quite yet, for this weekend could have us engaged in various holiday celebrations with social gatherings ramping up the holiday spirit. We might start the day feeling the pressures of our responsibilities and someone’s demands, but it is not long into the day before we’re in full holiday regalia.
Saturday, December 2nd – Getting a Grip – Jupiter, Sun, Mercury, Saturn. Saturday continues with the Leo Moon with the Moon square Jupiter early in the day, followed by the Moon trine the Sun. Mercury sextiles Saturn. We may feel that anything and everything is fair game for our enjoyment as we start this Saturday. Although we might be extravagant and indulgent as we begin this Saturday, we have the ability of combining both our infused sense of self with a practical disposition to avoid having too much fun at our own expense. We are interested in having a good time but with our conscience reminding us not to go to extremes or excess. Thanks be to the Mercury in Capricorn with its sextile today to Saturn. We can be far more grounded than we might be otherwise. Although our tendency may have been to rush out the door early in the day and do whatever catches our fancy, we are reined in by a recognition that budgeting our resources of time, energy and finances, provides a better course of action. If we have holiday preparations to attend to, we can be highly efficient and productive and get them done. Although we have all been pressed by recent circumstances, perhaps we have also learned to be more judicious in our decisions and our actions. There is certainly truth to the phrase ‘A.B.C. – adversity builds character’. The conditions we have gone through over the past few years may have been challenging, but they may have sharpened our character and developed our maturity. This Saturday is a day for us to engage holiday pleasures all the while keeping an eye on our expenditures with us possibly even accepting the admonition of ‘moderation in all things’.
Sunday, December 3rd – Twists and Turns – Uranus, Venus, Pluto. Sunday has the Leo Moon square Uranus to begin the day, and the Moon sextile Venus late in the day. At the end of the day, the Moon exits Leo to enter Virgo. Venus squares Pluto. Unexpected developments can affect our plans and put a damper on whatever we might have intended for this Sunday. We may feel either put upon or disappointed by someone. Instead of grousing about altered circumstance, we could see the situation as providing an opportunity of trying a different trajectory. During these turbulent times, it is often wise to keep in mind that although our personal wishes might not happen the way we intended, the universe and natural unfolding can have far greater plans for us than we had imagined for ourselves. The funny thing about today is that similar to these times when things can change suddenly and dramatically, any ill feeling towards someone earlier in the day can shift with a far more pleasant interchange in the evening. This Sunday allows us to see both unexpected developments arising and the pronounced change in attitude in a very short period of time. Let’s embrace the twists and turns of these times as indicative of our being on a magical, mystery tour. This weekend is for enjoyment and fun times and provides a healthy respite before we put nose to grindstone this coming week.
