The astrology for the week of April 25th through May 1st of 2022 can have us in a world of make believe that we could actually make happen if we truly believe.
An otherworldly sense may permeate this week, and why wouldn’t we wish to enter an idyllic realm of peace, love and harmony? The reality of what is otherwise projected to us by the media, powers-that-be, and fear mongers is nothing short of a traumatic dystopia with any number of horsemen riding towards an apocalypse. Why go to such a dark place when the potentials and possibilities of both an awakening and an ascension in our consciousness and in our lifestyle await us?
This week begins on a highly spiritual tone, if we so choose. Either we could fall prey to the victim card and see all the terrible and tragic circumstances in the world, or we can turn inward and appreciate all the beauty and creativity and spiritual resonance in the force before the form. Our choice, always our choice.
The first half of this week is awash in Water. Our feelings are heightened, and we are able to tune out the cacophony of these disruptive times. Exploring our creative talents, having quality time with that special someone, and concentrating on the best things in life are part of the cornucopia offered us during the first half the week.
The second half of the week may seem far more active. We can engage the fray, but we need to be mindful and astute as we move forward.
Friday has Pluto turning retrograde, a time that often coincides with bomb blasts, explosions, geophysical phenomena of earthquakes and volcanic activity, and people generally acting out. Oh joy! We just need to be careful out there, be vigilant and fully aware of our surroundings and the conditions in which we find ourselves.
The Solar Eclipse with the New Moon on Saturday could have us giving thought to our springtime projects with the intent of working smarter rather than harder. With the spring season offering a time of new births and renewals, we could find ourselves doing a good spring cleaning, getting rid of the outmoded, and giving thought to the most essential activities we wish to pursue in our future.
We are entering a time of magic and mini-miracles when what we see may be neither the reality of the situation nor what we get.
Monday, April 25th – Spirit in Action – Sun, Mars. The Moon enters Pisces with the Moon sextile the Sun and the Moon conjunct Mars today. Until mid-week, we may find ourselves in a fantasyland of our own making. Our feelings are accentuated, and it will be essential that we harness our emotions and focus our moods. No pity party, please, especially when we have the Stellium in Pisces and the Stellium in Taurus allowing us to put our spirit into action. The visionary can become reality if we channel our intuitive sense with a little bit of elbow grease. We are able to be effective utilizing new methods to solve old problems. The Pisces Stellium on Monday through midday Wednesday has five planets in the Mutable Water Sign thanks to the Pisces Moon adding to the powerpack of Mars, Venus, Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces. Anything associated with water — storm systems, plumbing, sea vessels, and the like — could be torrential. [Interesting to note that the Russian ship Moskva sank on the 14th, the day that Mars was exiting Aquarius to enter Pisces] People may be acting emotionally rather than rationally early this week with many people seeking an escape through intoxicants to avoid the daily barrage of bad news. This week is a time for us to engage our spiritual warrior, accept the conditions in which we find ourselves, and do our optimum in the seed-planting of the spring season with new project development or the tweaking of activities already begun.
Tuesday, April 26th – Surprising Developments – Uranus. Tuesday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Moon today sextile Uranus. No matter what we have scheduled for this Tuesday, unexpected situations can steer us in a different direction. This is a day for us to be receptive to surprising developments. It would be wise for us to heed any signals given to us, have our antennae up, and work with peripheral vision. Let’s not be reticent to take a different approach or a different trajectory to our day. With a recognition that ‘same old, same old’ just no longer works for us, we might be looking at changing things up to make us far more effective and more productive in everything we do. Alterations might include our environment, furnishings, equipment, even patterns of behavior. We could find some real bargains today if we are in a shopping mode. Trying something new does not demand commitment, only a testing of the waters before diving into the pool. If new ways work, then we can incorporate them into our daily life. If they don’t work, then we can circle back to rely upon the so-called ‘tried and true’.
Wednesday, April 27th – Otherworldly – Venus, Neptune, Jupiter, Mercury, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Curse. Wednesday could have us in an extraordinary mood and an otherworldly sensation. Much of the energy is occurring in the early morning hours. The Moon continues through Pisces with the Pisces Moon today conjunct three of the Pisces-transiting planets Venus, Neptune and Jupiter, the Moon sextile Mercury in Taurus, and the Moon sextile Pluto in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for two and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries around midday EDT. Mercury sextiles Jupiter, and Venus conjuncts Neptune. We could be feeling upbeat, as though we have not a care in the world. Serendipitous encounters are likely, and our relationships close to ideal. This is one of those days when we could feel as though we have pulled back a curtain and entered into an idyllic realm. With the dimensions a great deal thinner than ever before, we might have the sense that we have entered a different dimension than mundane reality, and have come into a dimension of love, peace and harmony. What a wonderful world it would be.
Thursday, April 28th – Back to Business – Mercury, Pluto. Thursday continues with the Aries Moon, but the Moon makes no connections today. Mercury trines Pluto. The past two and a half days may have had us traipsing through la-la-land. We might have had a good time tuning out to present day reality and enjoying something of a fantasy land, a realm where we are liked and appreciated and where everything seems to be coming up roses. Other people might have been catatonic, tuned into legacy media and buying into the narrative of what they present as going on, triggering anxiety and fearfulness. Choice, always our choice. The second half of yesterday was the start of a new monthly cycle as the Moon ended its transit of Pisces and entered Aries. Both yesterday and today the Aries Moon makes no connections to the planets. We might be more in proactive mode but not necessarily clear regarding our direction, itinerary or goal in mind. Even if we are racing our engine, there is no need for us to go full speed ahead. With Mercury trine Pluto, we can both devise a best practices approach for our intended goals and also take care of business which we might have neglected over the past three days. We may wish to initiate something, but this day is better served by completions and conclusions, tying up loose ends. We are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to Saturday’s New Moon and also a day before Pluto turns retrograde. Already, we can experience explosions and blow-ups, liable to be even stronger tomorrow. This Thursday suggests we get back to business, keep our head down, and be careful of liable outbursts.
Friday, April 29th – Intense Releases – Saturn, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto retrograde, Mercury Gemini. Friday has the Aries Moon sextile Saturn and the Moon square Pluto with Pluto just having turned retrograde [5:38 PM EDT]. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for two and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus late in the Day. We are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon, a Solar Eclipse. Mercury exits Taurus to enter its own Sign of Gemini [6:23 PM EDT], and in so doing brings an ending to the Taurus Stellium. This is a day for us to tread carefully, maintain awareness and vigilance in regard to possible explosions, intense releases of energy with the liability of people acting out. It would be suggested that we concentrate on what needs to be done and little else. Not only are we on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon but with Pluto turning retrograde this day demands the utmost caution. We can make our plans with the recognition of devising our intentions in pencil with a large eraser. Things may not go according to our plans. Pluto is turning retrograde less than one and a half degrees away from Aquarius. We might have the sense of the revolutionary quality that Pluto in Aquarius could bring to society, but we’ll have to wait until 2023, 2024 to feel the true significance of Pluto’s long transit of the Fixed Air Sign. For the moment, we are likely to see more implosions, explosions of the old order with trust in various societal institutions faltering at best, and some going by the wayside. There is a new day dawning, but first the collapse of the old and outmoded.
Saturday, April 30th – Glimpses of Future – Taurus New Moon, Sun, Solar Eclipse, Mars, Venus, Jupiter. Saturday has the Taurus New Moon [4:28 PM EDT], a Solar Eclipse, as the Moon conjuncts the Sun. The Taurus Moon also sextiles Mars, and the two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm, Venus and Jupiter, are conjunct. This New Moon is in orb of a conjunction to Uranus. Change is in the air, but the change could be triggered more by unexpected situations developing rather than our own initiations. This period over the next month could prove an exciting time when scientific discoveries, technology advances, and entirely new perspectives can be witnessed. Although the ‘crash and burn’ of the outmoded may be disconcerting, it is only so for those who demand totally clarity and full control over transitional phases and transformational times. Good luck with that! Under the influence of this New Moon, the next two weeks could provide insights and streamlined methods by which to accomplish our goals and realize our plans. Perhaps not a time for the faint of heart or those demanding security in an insecure world, but this period is an exciting and fascinating time. Soulful relationships can prosper, as we seek out meaningful connections, and appreciate how ‘right’ relationships add to our life experience. We may have glimpses of the future and might have affirmations that despite these disruptive, turbulent and tumultuous times, life is good and filled with an abundance of blessings.
Sunday, May 1st – the Fertility of the Season – Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Pluto. Sunday continues with the Taurus Moon with the Moon today triggering last year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square as the Moon today conjuncts Uranus, and the Moon squares Saturn. The Moon sextiles Neptune, and Venus sextiles Pluto. Today is Beltane, celebrating the fertility of the spring season and the plentifulness of life. We may better appreciate our many advantages, opportunities and blessings in our life and share our appreciation for those special people in our life. Love is in the air, and there can be various reaching out to the special people in our life. This weekend is a good time for us to enjoy life and start our seed-planting, whether literally with our gardens or figuratively with our intended springtime projects. Both Saturday and Sunday of this week provide opportunities for us to see the half glass of water as half full rather than half empty. Let’s celebrate life, celebrate all the components in our individual life, and en joy ourselves. While change is in the air, we could also have mirrors of where we have come from and whom we have been with a realization that we have outgrown much of our past. Spring, the season of rebirth, renewal, and the renaissance with new birthing.
