After weeks of confusion hyped by maudlin sentimentality and playing to compassionate emotions, the astrology for this week of March 28th through the 3rd of April of 2022 affords the opportunity of clarity and the ability to cut through the spin and see the hard, cold truth of reality [not subjective opinion which masquerades as fact but rather empirical, scientific certainty].
In large measure, we can thank the change in Sign of Mercury this past Sunday when Mercury moved out of Pisces and entered Aries. Not only did the Stellium of three planets in the Mutable Water Sign end as Mercury exited Pisces, but Mercury also moved out of a Sign of its Detriment where thinking tends to be emotionally based rather than rational, critical thinking. Heart has been ruling head with a Hollywood-like scenario wrenching at heart strings.
With a change in attitude where we might now be more focused on our personal journey rather than playing victim to the conditions and circumstance around us, we could desire to have more springtime levity and ask them to send in the clowns.
But for many of us, we have come to realize that we’ve been immersed in a clown show that parallels the worst of the horror films. Pestilence, isolation, war, inflation, supply chain disruption, dysfunctionality, incompetence, et. al. are the various horsemen trotted out to evoke a sense of apocalypse.
The week begins with an emphasis upon the remaining Stellium, the one in Aquarius with the Moon triggering all three of the Fixed Air Sign transiting planets of Mars, Venus and Saturn. Is a new day dawning? We may feel that it really is, largely enhanced by the sense of the spring season burgeoning with its promise of rebirth and renewal.
The mid-week can have us falling back into an emotional morass, and we could feel powerless to affect the ills of the world. The horsemen of the apocalypse may be galloping at full speed. Once we have seen the show, it’s hard to get overly excited by a rerun or a sequel. The initial thrust of fear and anxiety is liable to be heart pounding, the repeat performance almost a ho-hum of same old, same old.
The end of the week has April 1st, often referred to as April Fool’s Day. With this also being the day of the Aries New Moon in the Leo decanate of Aries, we are both truly initiating the spring season and looking for good times. We are no longer willing to play the fool. We have pulled back the curtain on the wizard of oz screen and found not a wizard but a wizened old man doddering about. So much for our icons, our heroes, our golden images. No, we are ready to fully engage our life, take on our individual journey, and enjoy ourselves in the process.
The weekend is a good time for us to have fun, celebrate life, and begin our seed planting of new projects and springtime activities.
Monday, March 28th – With a Little Help from a Friend – Mars, Venus, Saturn, Moon Void-of-Course. Monday begins the week with the Aquarius Moon conjunct the three Aquarius transiting planets of Mars, Venus and Saturn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over fourteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces early on Tuesday morning. Venus conjuncts Saturn. Much of our focus today may be more on our relationships and our future plans. Someone could provide insight or valuable suggestions as to how we can proceed in making our dreams come true. We might be champing at the bit, wanting to get on with things, but we have to be wary of acting from impulse and trying to move too far too fast. A good friend could encourage our intentions, all the while emphasizing the need to take things step by step with the recognition that during this paradigm shift conditions can change suddenly and significantly. We may have gotten a second wind recently, but we need to be certain to tone down our actions and not race headlong into a wall. Today is a day to enjoy our friendships and our connections.
Tuesday, March 29th – Smarter, not Harder – Uranus. The Moon moves into Pisces, where late in the day the Moon sextiles Uranus. We may have had some good times yesterday, been operating at high speed, and today could have us operating on the fumes. There is not a great deal of energy during most of this day. Perhaps we can either attend to our responsibilities or we might just laze around. Relaxing and not pushing to get things done provide a hiatus, those times of respite when we can reflect, contemplate and allow some of the nickels to drop. And so it may be for us on this Tuesday. Our moods and emotions can ratchet up, but we might not be the wet dishrag we could have been over the past few weeks. As the day proceeds, and in the quiet of our sanctuary, we could get some ‘ah-ha’ moments where we devise how best to accomplish our goals. We may decide to budget our finances, especially with the ravages of inflation increasing costs, shrinkflation with prices staying the same but for smaller quantities, and supply chain disruptions limiting availabilities. This is a day for us to work smarter, not harder. Often in our quiet times, answers to perplexing problems can come, and this may be one of those days for increased awareness, even startling revelations.
Wednesday, March 30th – Feelings, Far Too Many Feelings – Jupiter, Neptune. Astrology is all about cycles. Even when we feel as though we are done with something, situations often come back to see if we are really done with it. It may feel that way on this Wednesday. The Pisces Moon conjuncts both Jupiter and Neptune and does so in the third decanate [Scorpio] of Pisces. Our emotions can be off the charts. We might fall prey to the docudrama that is news today, which highlights the most sensational, tragic and moving images and poignant presentations. Anxiety and concern can spike. And why not when we are being threatened with nuclear war, world war III, food insecurities and liabilities of starvation with costs of everything skyrocketing? We need to harness our moods today, discipline our imagination and keep a focus on all the blessings in our lives. This is a good day for us to do inventory taking, clear out the debris of our lives and clean up our environment. The more we develop sanctuary for ourselves, the less swayed we shall be by the antics occurring in the world-at-large. Prayer, meditation and a walk out in nature would all provide positive venues to calm our fears and help us appreciate that life is good. Nature’s cathedrals can help raise our moods and lift our spirits.
Thursday, March 31st – Get Your Motor Running – Pluto, Mercury. Thursday begins with the Pisces Moon sextile Pluto. Before dawn EDT, the Moon exits Pisces and enters Aries. Late in the day, the Aries Moon conjuncts Mercury. We are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon in Aries. This is a good day for us to bring closure to matters, prepare ourselves for new beginnings but not jump the gun by starting our projects before they are ready. We can address the specifics of certain matters, rid ourselves of the extraneous, and clean our slate so that we can engage our initiations during the next two weeks triggered by tomorrow’s New Moon. We may feel pumped up, our creative juices flowing, and it would be wise for us to find healthy outlets for our increased energy. We can give thought to our springtime projects, develop a timetable for our involvements, and also focus on a springtime health regimen. As the days get warmer, we are likely to be outside more often. We don’t have to become triathletes, but we could give thought to diet, exercise, rest and renewal during the spring season. With the Aries focus, we are more interested in our personal journey rather than getting tripped up by the craziness in the world-at-large.
Friday, April 1st – Off to the Races – Aries New Moon, Sun, Mars, Saturn. Friday begins with the Aries New Moon [2:24 AM EDT] as the Moon conjuncts the Sun. Later in the day, the Moon sextiles both Mars and Saturn both in Aquarius. Although a season starts as the Sun enters a Cardinal Sign, it is truly the New Moon in that Cardinal Sign that triggers the energy of the season. We have that trigger for the spring season today with the Aries New Moon, which occurs in the second decanate of Aries with its Leo sub-influence. Although Aries often expresses by impetuousness and impulsive actions, having the Leo influence gives this New Moon and the subsequent fortnight up to the Libra Full Moon on the 16th a strong creative thrust. No matter what the venue may be, each of us might be looking at expressing our creative talents and putting our personal mark on our involvements. Many of us may choose to emphasize our own individual decisions instead of those determined for us by authorities, regulations, the powers-that-be. Part of life experience is about self-determination with the aspiration of ascension in consciousness with its byproducts of awareness and mindfulness. Starting today and for the next two weeks, we could find ourselves beginning projects that reflect the transformations we have gone through over our lifetime and especially over the past two years. The latter part of this day can have us socializing, enjoying the company of that special someone or with good friends.
Saturday, April 2nd – Leaving Worries Behind – Venus, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Mercury. Saturday continues with the Aries Moon with the Moon sextile Venus and the Moon square Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for three hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus. The Sun conjuncts Mercury. We might want to do things on the fly as we start this Saturday, but certain commitments and tasks to be attended could force us to take care of errands and obligations before enjoying time with a good friend. If we deal with what needs to get done in the morning hours, we can use much of this day and tomorrow to do whatever catches our fancy. Taking care of pressing demands releases us from any further obligations and allows us to leave our worries behind. This weekend is geared for fun events, social get-togethers and putting down the seeds of our springtime plans. Even if regulations try to limit our movement, we are likely to have none of it. The Aries New Moon has put a fire in our belly, and we are focusing more on our doing our own thing than being compliant to nonsensical restrictions.
Sunday, April 3rd – Whichever Way – Uranus. The Taurus Moon today conjuncts Uranus. The more this day can be a blank slate, the better we may like it. We would prefer to be in the moment and act on impulse than engaging in planned events. Spontaneity might have us doing whatever and whichever way the currents trend. If we go shopping, we could discover some great finds, even accessories to add to spicing up our environment. We are looking at fully embracing life today with a carefree attitude. We still have an eye for a bargain and for any necessary tools that could streamline our daily activities. We just have to be wary that our spontaneity doesn’t include impulse purchases, and if that were to happen, then it’s suggested we keep the receipts in case we later have buyer’s remorse and wish to return our recent purchases. Without an agenda today, we could open ourselves to the magic and mini-miracles of this paradigm shift and the energy of this day. Surprising developments could steer this Sunday.
