The astrology for this week of November 8th through the 14th of 2021 suggests we think before we speak or act, avoid both impulsive actions and adversarial confrontations, and perhaps preach solely to the choir.
The week begins benign enough. We may be more focused on what we need to accomplish and less likely engaging controversial opinions. We have things to get done, and we can be expeditious and effective in achieving successful results.
The ease of early in the week is interrupted mid-week when it might seem as though the wheels have come off the bus.
Wednesday is a day that calls for extreme caution, even to the point of hiding out to prevent the collateral damage from intense feelings and extreme expressions. Difference in perspective can lead people to pontificating what they consider to be the ‘truth’, reading the riot act to all others, and trying to enforce authoritarian behavior on anyone other than themselves.
They might call Wednesday ‘hump day’ coming as it does in the middle of the work week, but this Wednesday may be more than a hump and could even prove insurmountable. Better to skip trying to scale this behemoth.
Give it a day, and the energy dies down in the latter part of the week.
The end of the week and over the weekend could prove pleasant escapes whether we take in a movie, a drive in the country, or just relaxing at home glued to our Internet.
We do have to be wary on Saturday with one of my least favorite energies for travel, and especially air travel, and liable problems with communications and computer issues. The adverse configuration of Mercury opposed Uranus is in effect. If we can handle the rapid transmission of information to bring it down to this lower frequency earth plane, then we could blend our intuitive with our ‘ah-ha’ moments to devise the most streamlined and time effective procedures to advance our interests.
The weekend is one of endings and beginnings as Sunday starts the new monthly astrological cycle with the Moon entering Aries. Taking a breather over the weekend can refortify us and give us a thrust as we begin a new monthly cycle.
Monday, November 8th – Effective Strategies – Venus, Mercury, Mars, Uranus. Monday begins the week with the Capricorn Moon and the Moon conjunct Venus, the Moon sextile both Mercury and Mars both in Scorpio, and the Moon trine Uranus. Monday and Tuesday are two days when we can accomplish a lot. By prioritizing our activities and focusing on the most important matters in front of us, we can be highly productive checking one thing off after another. We do need to start the day planning our strategy, dismissing the irrelevant, and concentrating on our most significant involvements. We may have a head of steam as we start the week, but let’s not overwhelm ourselves by adding more and more to what we want to accomplish. If we would attend to the most pressing matters, we can get them out of the way and then take on more as time permits. Monday and Tuesday of this week should not be lost to carelessness or distractions, for these are two fruitful days to get down to business and get our work done. Late in the day, we might devise new techniques or become aware of how we could work smarter rather than harder. Once we get going, we might be able to streamline operations and pick up speed in our effectiveness.
Tuesday, November 9th – Making Hay While the Sun Shines – Sun, Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Monday and especially Tuesday morning are times when we seem to have it going on in a methodical, practical manner. Tuesday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today sextile the Sun in Scorpio, the Moon sextile Neptune in Pisces, and the Moon conjunct Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for nine hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius late in the day. We can be pleased with ourselves if we accomplished as much as we were capable of yesterday. The first half of this Tuesday allows us to put finishing touches and bring completion to certain matters. There are times to put our head down and plow ahead taking care of our responsibilities and attending to our obligations. Other times for play or engaging the dodge ball of ducking, diving and dodging the incoming of these disruptive, tumultuous times during the paradigm shift. Yesterday and today give us the impetus to forge forward with our mundane matters. We may go from the sublime to the ridiculous tomorrow, so it would be best for us to attend to the details and the specifics of particular projects on this Tuesday. We can blend our intuitive sense of ‘knowing without knowing’ with dogged perseverance and determination to get rid of the extraneous, address the most significant issues, and resolve important matters. These first two days of the week are days to ‘make hay while the sun shines’. Late in the day, the Moon enters Aquarius tripping off our excursion into the Fun House, which may not be much fun.
Wednesday, November 10th – Banging and Crashing – Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Mars, Mercury, Uranus. Aaargh, Wednesday, November 10th. Perhaps not a day that lives in infamy, but we may find ourselves banging and crashing about, for the energy today is quite intense. Our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square is engaged with added fuel to the fire. The Aquarius Moon today triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon conjunct Saturn, the Moon square both Mercury and Mars both in Scorpio, and the Moon square Uranus in Taurus. To add fuel to the fire, both Mercury and Mars square Saturn. This Wednesday could prove one exhausting day with various push – pulls and the liability of not really accomplishing much. We may have all sorts of plans for future projects or present involvements, but this day has a truly stuck quality associated with it. We might feel as if we are in a Lamborghini racing the engine, trying to get somewhere but stuck in neutral. Things could take longer than we want today, and our level of frustration can be ratcheted up. It would be wise to maintain our cool, not react impulsively to situations, and even wiser to block this day out as a time to keep calm and perhaps not even try to carry on. Both our emotions and our physical energy might be lacking and the more we try, the more we might feel like Sisyphus rolling the boulder up the mountain only to have it fall back. Today is a day for us to lower our expectations, accept the fact that there are times when whatever we try to do just does not work out and to maintain bemusement at the foibles of humankind, our own shortcomings, and the craziness operating in our world presently.
Thursday, November 11th – After the Obstructions – Sun, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. If we got through Wednesday unscathed, we should count our lucky stars. This Thursday things quiet down or, at least, seem to go more smoothly. The day begins with the Aquarius Moon square the Sun. As the day unfolds, the Moon conjuncts Jupiter then the Moon goes Void-of-Course for twelve hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces early Friday morning. We might feel the reverberations of yesterday as we start this day. Things may be slow going with a sense of stuckness continuing to frustrate. But largely we are done with the blockages and obstructions we could have encountered yesterday. And that may well call for a cause of celebration. Lunch or coffee with a good friend can lift our spirits as we share our war wounds from the previous day. Even if we obliviously made our way through Wednesday, this Thursday still has ‘feel good’ qualities associated with it. We are likely to be less judgmental, critical and snarky and more apt to be looking on the bright side of life. We could also be planning a weekend of stepping off the track, whether we venture out and about, or we choose to savor the sanctuary of our home to reinvigorate ourselves.
Friday, November 12th – Easily, Peacefully – Venus, Mars, Sun, Neptune. Friday has the Moon entering Pisces where today the Pisces Moon sextiles Venus and the Moon trines Mars. The Sun trines Neptune. Friday can be a highly pleasant day. We can pick up the pieces of any flummoxes that might have gone on mid-week. Today is a day when we could feel guided, knowing exactly the right steps to take and how best to go about our life easily and peacefully. Perhaps we are seeing the bigger picture of our journey and less concerned about the occasional pebble in our shoes that irritate us. This is a day when we can glide smoothly through the day. We may want to feather our nest by making additions to our home environment that provide greater sanctuary to our safe space. Our sensitivity is heightened, and we want to avoid confrontations or adversarial interactions as much as possible. This is a day when we can be the spiritual warrior but far more effective as the meditative monk. We may start the weekend early with a focus on reflection and contemplation. We can be one with the universe, and we could appreciate that everything works in its own accord.
Saturday, November 13th – Higher Levels – Mercury, Uranus, Neptune, Sun. Saturday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Moon today conjunct Neptune, the Moon trine both Mercury and the Sun both in Scorpio, and the Moon sextile Uranus. Mercury opposes Uranus. In the paradigm shift now occurring we might find ourselves betwixt and between the fourth dimension of space time and the fifth dimension of the now. This Saturday could have us ascending into higher realms or entrapped by the mundane level and overwhelmed by confusing input and distractive impediments. The Mercury Uranus adverse aspect, either square or opposition, is my least favored aspect for air travel. The aspect contributes to miscommunications, misunderstandings, computer and Internet problems and traffic issues. And why? The adverse aspect of Mercury Uranus is such a high frequency that it is often difficult to translate effectively on the lower frequency earth plane — the fourth dimension of time – space with its three coordinates of height, length, width. If we are able to operate on a higher level, then we are privy to ‘ah-ha’ moments and an understanding of the fifth dimension of now where time-space collapses into the past, present, future, all now. If we are in control mode and try to force things to our will, we could experience unanticipated situations that are like curveballs with liable whacks to the head. If, on the contrary, we would be reflective and open to receive today, we could be privy to surprising information and unexpected opportunities.
Sunday, November 14th – Begin Again – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Sunday begins the day with the Pisces Moon sextile Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for ten hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries today. The Moon is ending its monthly cycle and beginning a new monthly cycle. And so it may be for us too. Today is a good day for us to tie up loose ends in the morning and bring matters to closure that we do not want to bring into the new monthly cycle. Once certain matters are completed, we can use the second half of this day as a blank slate doing whatever we choose to do with no pressing demands or expected involvements steering our choice of action. Apart from the Moon’s transit of the Fire Signs, we have been without the Fire Element since August. There has not been much fire in our belly, so let’s enjoy even the slightest thrust of energy that we get with the Moon moving into Aries. Time to initiate and launch projects. But, first, we need to tie up loose ends and then engage a blank slate upon which to draw involvements that truly speak to us.
