The astrology for this week of April 12th through the 18th of 2021 is under the auspices of this past Sunday’s Aries New Moon, the true trigger to the spring season.
And what a week this could be!
We may feel pumped up, energized, and as if operating with the wind at our back.
The week begins with us likely fast out of the gate, ready to implement our springtime projects and develop new trajectories for ourselves. It’s spring — the season of births, renewals, and renaissance.
The waxing Moon is a time of new beginnings and a time to develop our projects, and especially so under the influence of the Aries New Moon, which occurred this past Sunday, the 11th. We can be feeling at the top of our game and ready, willing and able to put our individual mark on our personal world.
The warnings, fear mongering, and anxieties from the powers-that-be may seem like just so much static, things we’ve heard all before, but their impact far lessened due to the repetitiveness of their newspeak.
No, we are more interested in our world, in developing our own parameters and our own template for the ways in which we wish to move forward — forward, not backwards.
We may bump up against the rules and regulations imposed upon us and we could be thwarted by the p.c. culture with its wokeness, but we might also be able to circumvent much of the attempts at restriction to our personal journey, like only so many brambles along the garden path that we are able to get around.
As if the lockdowns provided a form of basic training and a major conditioning of our spirit and our soul, we are ready to take on the new world order and forge ahead with our plans and our goals intelligently, fully aware and mindful of the parameters in which we are presently operating.
Despite the turbulence and intense disruptions occurring during these times, we could also experience examples of the workings of the universe by providing us unexpected opportunities and revealing through transparency the hidden agendas, with the eventual result having us realize what a wonder-filled world in which we live!
The weekend is geared to good times with good friends, explorations and tastings of all the varied good things in life. En joy!
Monday, April 12th – And so it Begins – Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course. Monday starts the week with us primed to get going and focused on what we want to do. Impelled forward by yesterday’s Aries New Moon, we can be fast out of the gate and ready to put our personal mark on our involvements. The Moon continues its transit of Aries with the Moon today sextile Mars in Gemini, the Moon sextile Jupiter in Aquarius, the Moon square Pluto, and the Moon conjunct Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus. We may begin the day with a great amount of gusto, but it would be wise for us to plan out our day. While we start the day with a burst of energy, the energy dies down as we move further into the morning hours and during the afternoon. We might schedule a great amount to accomplish today with our attention more on what we want to do than what we have to do. Our responsibilities and obligations could throw monkey wrenches into our plans and demand that we address our tasks at hand. With optimism and confidence today, we can virtually move mountains. By prioritizing our activities, both what we want to do and what we need to do, we can determine our trajectory, use time management skills, and avoid wasting our time. We may not be able to achieve everything that we intend to do today. No worries, for let’s keep in mind that every journey starts with the first step. And so it begins.
Tuesday, April 13th – New Courses, Old Patterns – Uranus, Saturn, Sun, Mars. Tuesday has the Taurus Moon conjunct Uranus, and the Moon square Saturn. The Sun sextiles Mars. Our nemesis for the year — the Uranus Taurus square the Saturn Aquarius — is triggered today with its push – pull between old and new. The day begins with us concentrating on implementing some of our goals into practical application. We might draw upon advanced techniques, new technology, certainly new ways of doing things. Although we can find ourselves being far more effective with less expenditure of energy, we could run afoul of traditional ways of doing things and those people tied to the so-called ‘tried and true’, although tried possibly no longer true. If we seem to veer away from accepted norms, someone is liable to read us the riot act and demand that we hew to the familiar pattern. There may be no stopping us in going down our individual pathway, for we may be enamored by the prospects we see for ourselves and determined to realize our goals. Let’s keep in mind that often adversarial or confrontational situations create a distraction, delays, and the liability of lose – lose scenarios. This is a day for us to work smarter rather than harder, which includes doing what we want the way that we want all the while giving the semblance of conforming to accepted patterns.
Wednesday, April 14th – Seed Planting with Proper Tilling – Neptune, Jupiter, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Taurus. The Moon continues its transit of Taurus with the Moon sextile Neptune, the Moon square Jupiter, and the Moon trine Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini early Thursday morning. Venus exits Aries to enter Taurus [2:22 PM EDT]. This Wednesday is a day for us to blend our intuitive sense with practical implementation. Our foresight can be strong. We could be highly focused on the specifics necessary to achieve successful results. We have to be wary of trying to do too much or buying into the input from other people. It would be wise for us to trust our instincts and our own understanding of what is going on. Someone might be too encouraging for us to go too far out on a limb. We have a ‘can do’ attitude. We just need to focus our actions on our highest priorities. With Venus leaving Aries to enter Taurus, Venus exits a Sign of its Detriment, where we might have been a little too self-absorbed and narcissistic with detriment to our relationships. With Venus entering Taurus, a Sign that Venus rules, we may have greater decorum and a better appreciation for the good things in life. This Sign change of Venus also ends the Stellium of three or more planets in Aries and tempers our impetuous and self-focused tendencies. If we prepare the soil by proper planning and devising our strategy, we can start to plant the seeds of our springtime projects and of our new trajectories.
Thursday, April 15th – Where Be the Taxman – Sun, Jupiter. Normally, an archaic term for what had been totally out of synch with today’s ‘reality’, this day, April 15th, would be tax day, the day in the US when we pay to the piper a significant percentage of our annual revenue stream. We could debate ‘for what’, but why go there when it would only ignite the apologists or the preppers for confrontational diatribes? But today is not Tax Day, for the craziness of the past year plus has deemed an extension necessary for the federal filing until next month, May 15th. Instead, this day exchanges a day that had been fraught with angers and anxieties for a rather pleasant astrological day. The Moon enters Gemini, and the Sun sextiles Jupiter. As if thumbing our nose at the traditional day for tax filings, we might choose to use this day as a day to stretch our wings, get out of Dodge to go into unfamiliar places, and times with a friend or friends. We may be feeling good about things, about life, about the increased freedoms once stolen from us, and about our future prospects. We can be on a ‘high’ today, enjoying life and doing fun things for ourselves. Spring is here, the Taxman nowhere to be seen, and a day for us to indulge our greatest fancies.
Friday, April 16th – Too Good to Be True – Saturn, Neptune, Sun, Pluto. Friday continues with the Gemini Moon with the Moon today trine Saturn, and the Moon square Neptune. The Sun squares Pluto. If we put nose to grindstone, we could get a lot done today. We may resent the imposition of our own responsibilities or the restrictions imposed upon us by the powers-that-be, but it would be wise not to waste our energies on battles that we cannot win. Thomas Edison said: “Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety nine percent perspiration.” This Friday we might need to perspire but with the recognition that as we address pressing matters and deal with them, we create the space for new things to come forward. The universe does not like a vacuum and any blank space will be filled. Today is a day to take things step by step with the appreciation that during this paradigm shift things can change dramatically and suddenly and often without a moment’s notice. Let’s not try to force issues today, especially when the passage of time might actually see the issues melt away. The evening hours allow us an enjoyable engagement with that special someone or with friends. We just have to be wary that we don’t overindulge. If we feel any sense of frustration today, let’s keep in mind that tomorrow is another day.
Saturday, April 17th – Taking it to the Max – Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Pluto. If things did not move as quickly as we would have liked yesterday, or that we felt tripped up, this Saturday can have us forging ahead with all flags flying. This Saturday is one high energy day that is likely to have a great deal of activity. The Moon continues its transit of Gemini with the Gemini Moon sextile Mercury, the Moon trine Jupiter, the Moon conjunct Mars, and the Moon sextile the Sun. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer where just before the end of the day the Cancer Moon sextiles Venus. Mars trines Jupiter. Mercury is highly active today with a sextile to Jupiter in Aquarius, a sextile to Mars in Gemini, and a square to Pluto. We have the energy and the varied interests to be anywhere and everywhere today. Nothing is likely too much for us, as we flit from one thing to another, to yet another. And flit we are likely to do. Our conversations can be lively, upbeat, engaging anyone and everyone. We might feel as if everything is going our way and that there’s no stopping us. Our ‘feel good’ attitude could prove contagious, and we may prefer conversations and engagements with those people who are on our same page. Although optimistic and confident, we have to temper our enthusiasm to avoid skipping over details or missing important points. This can be a fun and productive day and a day when we would far prefer juggling any number of things than focused on specifics or a singular project.
Sunday, April 18th – Makeovers – Uranus, Sun, Mercury. The Cancer Moon today sextiles Uranus, and the Sun conjuncts Mercury. A philosophical and forward-looking disposition can have us feeling upbeat and inspired and desirous of implementing changes reflective of the internal changes we may have felt happening within ourselves. This is a good day for a makeover, whether that makeover be our personal appearance, our wardrobe, and / or our living environment. After a year of being subjected to fear mongering and anxieties daily drilled into us by the chosen narrative of the powers-that-be, we may have decided to throw off the dampening blanket of negativity and get on with our lives. Not that we won’t still be bombarded by the negative spin and attempts to make us victims. It’s just that after a while the constant droning of fear, the impact lessens for those who are choosing to be self-determining. There is an awakening occurring. People are waking up and in the process an ascension in consciousness can also lift society to a higher frequency and a more glorious future. It’s all part of the process of this two-week period from last Sunday’s Aries New Moon to the Full Moon on the 26th. Personal makeovers are often a reflection of the inner growth and development, the transformation of our being. This Sunday is an opportune time for a personal makeover.
