The astrology for this week of July 7th through the 13th of 2025 shakes things up with another major planetary Sign change that will reenforce indications of these revolutionary times.
The week begins with Uranus exiting Taurus and entering Gemini for its seven-year cycle through the Mutable Air Sign. While Uranus was in Taurus the past seven years, we were introduced to decentralized finance and the world of cryptocurrencies. With Uranus in Gemini, we may see greater advances in the technological revolution with further developments of robotics and artificial intelligence.
The early part of this week can have us expanding our horizons, whether we are traveling or broadening our interests.
Mid-week has us taking a more serious tone. The Capricorn Full Moon on Thursday can have us focused on putting our spirit into action with dogged determination for us to accomplish our long-term goals, all the while that we are taking care of our responsibilities and attending to home and family matters.
The weekend might be geared for adventure with us trying out new things, considering our options. Instead of a deep dive, we may decide to only put our toes in the water, testing possibilities before making commitments.
The weekend has Saturn turning retrograde for the next four and a half months until the end of November. Saturn will retrograde out of Aries and back into Pisces. The rest of this year and early next year could have us going through phases of recapitulation, going back over situations that we thought were completed and concluded.
Saturn retrograde slows things down with various issues taking longer than we would like. There are liable to be delays and frustrations with a sense of braking actions to reevaluate as we along our way.
We can experience times of one step forward, two steps back.
Monday, July 7th – Brave New World – Pluto, Mercury, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Uranus Gemini. Monday begins this week with the Moon in Sagittarius and the Sagittarius Moon sextile Pluto to begin the day, and the Moon trine Mercury and the Moon square Mars later in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for thirty-five and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn early on Wednesday morning. Venus trines Pluto, and Uranus exits Taurus to enter Gemini [3:45 AM EDT]. With Uranus taking 84 years to cycle through the Zodiac, many people may never have experienced Uranus going through Gemini. Welcome to a brave new world. This day can be an exciting day with our mind awhirl with all sorts of possibilities, even the seemingly impossible not being inconceivable. Although there can be a wealth of options for us to explore, it might be wise for us to discuss the alternatives with someone we trust. Otherwise, we could be off on a tear, going here, there, and everywhere but winding up without getting much done. If we can have this day as a day off from our regular tasks, then we can take advantage of exploring, investigating, and trying things out in whatever catches our fancy. It may take some time to get used to this new planetary Sign change, so it would be wise for us to keep things tentative and without going into too much depth.
Tuesday, July 8th – Adjustment – Moon Void-of-Course. The Sagittarius Moon continues its Void-of-Course transit with the Moon making no connections to the planets today and into tomorrow until the Moon moves out of Sagittarius and enters Capricorn Wednesday morning. The Sagittarius Moon suggests we explore all possibilities today. Every now and then we need a ‘time out’ to break free from our usual, regular patterns, and this day is one of those days. Let’s use this day as a blank canvas upon which we can do whatever we choose to do. No restrictions, no habitual patterns, just the ability to investigate and explore possibilities and whatever puts a smile on our face. During this paradigm shift into asequential reality, things can occur in the most unexpected, inexplicable ways. Let’s be open to the magic and miracles of this paradigm shift. By dropping our engrained, conditioned way of being, even if only momentarily, we could open ourselves up to the awe and wonder of life and living that we may have experienced as little children when everything was fresh, everything new. Today is a day for us to free ourselves from the preconceived and take advantage of serendipity and synchronicity. Today is a day for us to forego our conditioning of making things happen, sit in the stillness, and allow the universe to unfold and open opportunities to us. This Tuesday is a day of adjustment to the shift in the universal energies. As the 12-Step programs affirm: “Let go, Let God.”
Wednesday, July 9th – Back at It – Moon Void-of-Course, Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter. Wednesday begins with the Void-of-Course Moon in Sagittarius that began back on Monday late afternoon. The Moon moves into Capricorn where today the Capricorn Moon triggers a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Capricorn Moon square both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, and the Moon opposed Jupiter. Yesterday could have been a magical day, if we stayed out of our own way, engaged times of stillness, and were open to the universe happening rather than us trying to make things happen. We might have realized that the universe works, and that things can come to us even in moments of stillness. Today is a different story. Old patterns, old beliefs, old identities die hard, and this Wednesday is liable to our falling back into our old way of being with a belief that we need to make things happen for them to occur. We may be up and at our involvements today with a determination to accomplish. If we did take some of yesterday as a ‘time out’ from our regular routine, we could be castigating ourselves for lost time and try to more than make up for it today. Silly, grasshopper, “when you can take the pebble…” Although we might revert to old ways on this Wednesday, we could also feel blocked from our heart’s desire by our responsibilities, our obligations, and our commitments. Let’s not lose any moments of revelation of how things could be in an altered consciousness but draw upon them as embers that at some future time can always reignite into a burning flame.
Thursday, July 10th – Subtractions, Additions – Mars, Full Moon, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course. Thursday has the Capricorn Moon trine Mars, and the Moon opposed the Sun at the Full Moon [4:37 PM EDT]. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost twenty-one hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius Friday afternoon. This is a day for us to put away, straighten up and fly right. We have a great deal of energy to deal with the minutiae of our lives, and it would be wise for us to do so, that way we can enjoy the upcoming weekend unencumbered. After we have rid ourselves of the refuse and extraneous, we can add to our surroundings. Such a process of subtractions and additions can entail subtractions of our various responsibilities, outstanding matters, and then additions of changing things up to reflect a new sense of ourselves and where we intend to go in the days ahead. Drawing upon other people’s input could help clarify what we need to eliminate and what we need to engage. Often, we are too attached to what we have without realizing that letting go of certain things creates space that might be filled with the more appropriate and relevant. The universe abhors a vacuum. We just need to make room. Out with the old, in with the new.
Friday, July 11th – Good Times, Good Friends – Moon Void-of-Course, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto. Friday begins with the Capricorn Moon Void-of-Course making no connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Capricorn. Around mid-day, the Moon exits Capricorn and enters Aquarius. The Aquarius Moon today trines Uranus, the Moon sextiles both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, and the Moon conjuncts Pluto. Friday might start with us finishing up the mundane matters we have been dealing with the past two days. Today might prove a half day, for we’re ready to put away our tools, turn away from our tasks, and focus on good times with good friends. The three transcendental planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all engaged today. It would be wise for us to be open to the universe regarding plans for our afternoon and evening. If we want to make plans as we are accustomed to doing, then let’s do so in pencil with a large eraser. This is one of those days when the universe might take the wheel and direct our itinerary. The second half of this day and the evening can be a lively time that reinvigorates us and makes us cognizant of possibilities of which we were not previously aware. It may feel as though blinders are removed. The fun of this weekend starts on this Friday and tapers down as we go through the next two days. This is the day to get together with friends and family and enjoy ourselves.
Saturday, July 12th – Paved with Good Intentions – Venus, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday continues with the Aquarius Moon with the Moon trine Venus to start the day, and the Moon opposed Mercury later in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for twenty-eight hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces on Sunday evening. This day begins with a continuation of yesterday’s ‘feel good’ sentiments. Fun may be foremost on our mind today with an inclination to investigate and explore new realms of interest and adventure. We might want to try something different today and preferably with our special someone. We are looking for thrilling involvements even to the point of stepping far out on a limb. We do need to watch that excitement doesn’t get the better of us. It’s all fun and games early in the day, but we could easily go overboard later in the day with dire consequences of increased costs, going far beyond our reach and overdoing. This day calls for us to rein in our enthusiasm and take a measured approach to our recreational activities. Extreme anything today can trigger a liability of upsetting the applecart. As the classic statement warns: “the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.” Let’s embrace our intentions with a practical and sober itinerary.
Sunday, July 13th – Slowed to a Crawl – Moon Void-of-Course, Uranus, Saturn retrograde. Sunday begins with the Moon Void-of-Course as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius without making any connections to the planets. Late in the day, the Moon exits Aquarius and enters Pisces where tonight the Pisces Moon squares Uranus. Saturn turns retrograde [12:07 AM EDT]. Friday and most of Saturday might have had us operating on greased wheels, having a good old time, enjoying ourselves, and with few cares in our world. Last night, we may have felt like we were hitting the wall or that our fun times had proven excessive. Like any change in planetary motion, whether from direct to retrograde or retrograde to direct motion, Saturn turning retrograde can bungle things up, creating delays, demanding attentive perseverance, and with us feeling like we’re rolling the boulder up the mountain. Responsibilities seem heavier, obligations seem stronger, and those engagements we thought had been completed may need to be reviewed and reworked before finally being concluded. With Saturn in Aries, many of us might have felt that we just don’t have our normal energy. We are all doing a great deal of internal processing, trying to figure our way during these turbulent, tumultuous times of the paradigm shift which also sees us on the threshold of revolution as we head into the technological revolution where labor becomes less necessary to the advance of robotics, artificial intelligence, and further technological wizardry. This Sunday could find things slowing to a crawl, with everything taking longer than we might like, and with us feeling as if in suspended animation. Let’s enjoy time with a special someone, lower our expectations for what we can get done, and kick back and embrace the summer warmth. Late in the day, we could learn of something arising unexpectedly that creates a cause for concern. Increasingly, we may need to slow things down, maintain awareness, and be ready to adapt to radically changing conditions. Let’s just watch our back.
