The astrology for this week of March 25th through the 31st of 2024 starts off with a bang with the Lunar Eclipse and simmers down as we move through the week to Easter Sunday.
Relationships can be highlighted to begin the week. The question of you, me, or we could have us juggling our personal interests with the concerns of someone else or with other people. We may be balancing our individual world with that of our community.
We have the Stellium in Pisces operational with Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune all in the Mutable Water Sign. We might feel the impetus of springtime with a sense of self-assertiveness, but we are liable to feel reactive to whatever is going on around us. We need to avoid the victim card, playing the blame game, and refusing to take accountability and responsibility for our own actions.
This is the last week before April’s three-week Mercury retrograde. Whatever we need to complete or conclude, it would be suggested we do so this week or wait until Mercury turns direct on the 25th of April. If we have significant decisions or commitments to be made during the Mercury retrograde, then this week is a time to do a ‘symbolic’ signing of an agreement that affirms our intention.
Many people may be off the track this week for spring break or Easter week. Either getting together with other people or planning social engagements could take up our time during the first two days of this week.
The mid-week period can have us tying up loose ends prior to next week’s beginning of Mercury retrograde.
There can be an interesting, serendipitous encounter later in the week, an incident that affirms the mystery and magic of these times of paradigm shift.
Friday through Easter Sunday may either have us engaged in social occasions or taking the time of spiritual awakening, realizing the process in earth life experience of death and rebirth, nature’s evidence of the dead of winter morphing into the rebirth of spring.
Monday, March 25th – More About You than Me – Libra Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse, Sun. Monday begins this week with the Libra Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse as the Sun opposes the Moon [3:00 AM EDT]. The Full Moon signature is a bucket pattern chart with all the planets bunched together as in a bowl with a singleton, the Moon, providing the handle to the bowl making it a bucket. Although we are in the Aries springtime push of putting ourselves forward, and often first, this Full Moon indicates the importance of giving thought to whatever is going on with someone else. Instead of being focused primarily on ourselves, today and tomorrow suggest we engage the interests and desires of another. This is Easter week, the Christian symbolism of crucifixion and resurrection, reflected in the Vernal Equinox with the start of a new astrological year and the springtime season of renewal and rebirth. Our emotions might be heightened today. The challenge of balance may have us like a metronome swinging from one side to the other, from self-interests to concerns for another, from elation to despair, until we modulate to find our equilibrium. Although we are living during volatile times in this paradigm shift when balance is hard to come by, we could engage tai chi-like moves to be fully aware of the energies operating — our energies, other people’s energies, and the energies in the world-at-large.
Tuesday, March 26th – Peaceful Easy Feeling – Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday continues with the Moon transiting Libra. There is not a great deal of energy today, perhaps just the repercussions from yesterday’s Full Moon. The Libra Moon opposes Mercury later in the day and then the Moon goes Void-of-Course for ten hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio Wednesday morning. This Tuesday is a good day for us to slow things down, take time for ourselves, and enjoy the company of a special someone. We continue with the bucket pattern chart that we had with yesterday’s Full Moon. This Tuesday is better shared than going solo. Our friends and loved ones are often a reflection of ourselves and provide characteristics that we might be lacking. There’s not a great deal of energy today. Many people may be on spring break or Easter break or, failing down time, their thoughts could be focused on upcoming Easter celebrations. No matter our religious or philosophical beliefs, who doesn’t like the Easter bunny and the flurry of dressing up and the bounty of Easter eggs, chocolate, and candy? We do need to prevent any tug-of-war in the evening hours between our personal desires and those of someone else.
Wednesday, March 27th – Hitting the Wall or Gliding Easily Forward – Pluto, Mars. Wednesday has the Moon moving into Scorpio where today the Scorpio Moon squares Pluto and the Moon trines Mars. We could start the day blustering forward, pushing ahead but meeting resistance. We need to be careful that we don’t become too willful, force issues and assume that everything and everyone should fall in line behind our intentions. This is a day when the proverb ‘you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar’ might play out. If we would dampen our intensity and avoid bullying, we could find that things can unfold easily and productively by being in tune with the energies, being nice to those around us, and getting out of our own way. We can be determined, but we need to avoid being arrogant. Any pushback early in the day might give way to greased wheels later in the day. Why make it hard on ourselves by our overintensity when things could glide so easily and effectively? This day might offer us a lesson in the paradigm shift where things can happen in unexpected ways, and we can draw upon the universe and energies to pave the way and lighten our load. Today, tomorrow, and early Friday are good days to do an inventory taking, sort through, and rid ourselves of the extraneous and meaningless.
Thursday, March 28th – Hold on, Let go – Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus. Thursday has the Scorpio Moon trine both Saturn and Venus both in Pisces, and the Moon opposed both Jupiter and Uranus both in Taurus. Venus sextiles Uranus. Thursday could prove one of those paradoxical days, but also a day when serendipitous encounters are likely to occur. Adhering to that which we know through our experience and the expertise that we have developed this day can have us focusing on the truly meaningful and letting go of that which no longer serves us. Stuff and acquisition often mask a vulnerability of insecurity and provide the sense of reliable stability. During this paradigm shift when things change suddenly, dramatically, and unexpectedly, we may have a tendency to hold on to the familiar. Security is no longer what we have but who we are. All our accumulations are false safety nets that offer little when our worlds are being shaken up, virtually to the core. This Thursday has the push pull between holding on and letting go. We might be afraid to release and purge, but it may prove the key to crossing a threshold into the new and different. One of the key elements during this paradigm shift is the asequential reality where things occur in a most inexplicable manner. We could have evidence of such a reality today when we engage a strange encounter, a serendipitous incident of being in the right place at the right time. As if providing clues on life’s scavenger hunt, the universe gives us signs of the changing paradigm, where things can occur almost magically. This Thursday can be one of those days that gives us hope that there are brighter days through better ways in our trajectory ahead. This is a day when letting go, instead of holding on, unlocks a most interesting experience and a validation of the blessings that regularly occur in our lives.
Friday, March 29th – Spirit Awakens – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto. Friday has the Scorpio Moon trine Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius where today the Sagittarius Moon sextiles Pluto. This is Good Friday in the Christian religion. In the wisdom teachings, we learn of the crucifixion and resurrection as we transcend ego personality and reawaken the essence of our soul and spirit. Today’s energies are apt for the symbology of this day. While we might not pay much attention to the transitioning, we have the opportunity of connecting with our spiritual aspect, that part of our being that is eternal as we cycle through incarnation after incarnation. No matter our level of awareness, and there is ongoing a great awakening, this day may have moments of meditation or reflection and the seeking of a greater purpose and reconnection with our personal destiny. This Friday would be well spent in eliminating the stuff of material accumulation or mind games. Whether through meditation, a walk by the seashore, being out in nature, listening to uplifting music, or reading inspirational literature; we can awaken our spirt and pay homage to our soul. The evening hours can have us bubbly and sparkly and interested in sharing our thoughts and plans with our close friends. This Friday gives us an infusion of spiritual content with us intending to put our spirit into action.
Saturday, March 30th – Wading through the Muck and Mire – Mars, Saturn, Sun. Saturday has the Sagittarius Moon square Mars in Pisces to begin the day, and the Moon square Saturn in Pisces to end the day. The Moon trines the Sun in Aries midday. Even though we may want to get on with new adventures that allow our creative abilities to shine, we might find ourselves restricted by past obligations or our own fearfulness. Whenever we launch forward into something new, there can be a hesitancy, a holding back, with a sense of anxiety as to whether our initiations will succeed or fail miserably. Every new beginning starts with a first step. During this paradigm shift, past experiences are no reflection of the future course of events. This day encourages us to express our creative talents and stand in our own light. No matter the muck and the mire in which we might find ourselves, we can wade through the delays, frustrations, and disruptions. There may be starts and stops along the way, but these braking actions may serve us to tweak, refine and adjust our involvements in accord with changing circumstance, any change in our perspective, or our shifting intentions. Despite any moodiness or emotional funk, there are also sunbreaks that can make us aware that the sun always breaks out and that the light dispels the darkness. This Saturday is a day for us to proceed with our plans, have contingency plans in mind, and not feel victimized by whatever upsets might be occurring around us.
Sunday, March 31st – Ascension – Venus, Mercury, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. Sunday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with a similar energy play as yesterday. The Sagittarius Moon today squares Venus in Pisces, the Moon trines Mercury in Aries, and the Moon squares Neptune in Pisces. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn early on Monday morning. This is Easter Sunday in Christian theology commemorating the crucified Jesus rising from the grave, resurrecting and ascending into heaven as the Christ. In astrology, we see this process of death, resurrection, and ascension as the time of the seasonal change from winter into spring at the Vernal Equinox. Many people will put on their Sunday best today both regarding their wardrobe and their temperament. This Sunday is a good day to celebrate new beginnings that springtime promises. The more we can embrace our talents and our abilities and let go of our fears and insecurities, the less encumbered we shall be and better able to soar with the eagles. Let’s use this weekend to ascend from our past, our inhibitions and any negative pulls on us. A new day is dawning, and our personal world can be increasingly brightening.
