The astrology for this week of March 1st through the 7th of 2021 can have extremes of good feelings with ease of operations but also blocked energies leading to frustrations and resentment.
Like life itself, this week has its crests and troughs as we seek to maintain our balance in surfing the waves of life.
We start the week with a gung-ho attitude and looking to engage people who can help us develop our projects through their suggestions and make us aware of various options we might not have seen for ourselves. We are likely to enjoy the interactions with other people — the catchups, plans for future get-togethers, and expressing thoughts of intended endeavors.
Push – pulls can be strong the mid-week period. While there may be serendipitous encounters and a lightening up of our attitude, we are also liable to get embroiled with the Taurus Aquarius square as the Moon in Scorpio triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square. The sublime and the ridiculous can once again be engaged.
No matter the stress and strains mid-week, we are also able to see a patch of blue due to the contagious optimism of someone who puts a smile on our face.
What we have to be wary of this week is the metronome of emotions and feelings and trying to narrow the extremes. Attributed to Buddha: “Happiness follows sorrow, sorrow follows happiness, but when one no longer discriminates happiness and sorrow… one is able to realize freedom.”
The weekend can be hectic. The wide range of options could have us running around, going from one thing to another to yet another. People may present different sides of themselves, so it would be wise for us to make sure that what we see is what we get. This weekend is a weekend to avoid getting snookered by someone or fascinated by something that seems too good to be true.
We end the week being a little more grounded and looking to clean up our messes and focus on how we can best streamline our operations.
Monday, March 1st – the Good Things in Life – Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter. We begin the week with the Libra Moon trine the three Aquarius-transiting planets of Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter. Conversations with people can be light and uplifting and provide us with salient information regarding our goals and our plans for the future. We may decide times to get together with other people once the lockdowns start to lift. This is a day when discussions can be free flowing and when we touch base with any number of people –– the more, the merrier. This is the first day of March and we can feel the impending Spring season with a sense that the darkness of Winter will soon be lifting, and we can embrace the rebirth and renewal of our lives. No Debbie Downers for us today, for we far prefer recognizing the positive characteristics in our life. This is a day for us to splurge and indulge ourselves with a strong sprinkle of camaraderie. Let’s acknowledge the abundance of our blessings, embrace the joie de vivre [joy of living], and see this Monday as being a ‘mental health’ day when we focus on the positive and see all the good things in life.
Tuesday, March 2nd – Back on the Chain Gang – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday begins with the Libra Moon square Pluto before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio late in the day. Hopefully, we used yesterday to put a smile on our face and recharge our positive attitude, for this Tuesday could have us forced to deal with various outstanding matters and the nagging details of our routine. As much as we might prefer to ignore pressing demands, it would be wise for us to take care of business, address the specifics and tie up loose ends. The next two days could be a series of incidents that might be frustrating, costly, and keeping us constantly on our toes. The more we can accomplish today, the less entangled we might be over the next two days when we need to keep our wits about us and not fall into resentment by the various blockages we might experience.
Wednesday, March 3rd – Step-By-Step – Venus, Lunar T-Square, Uranus, Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, Sun, Mars Gemini. Wednesday could prove one intense day when we might be focused on rolling the boulder up the mountain, taking care of various issues, and feeling like the sun might never come out. The Taurus Aquarius square that we have to deal with this entire year is triggered by the Scorpio Moon as the Moon today opposes Uranus and the Moon squares the three Aquarius-transiting planets of Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter. The Moon sextiles Venus, the Moon trines the Sun, Venus sextiles Uranus, and Mars exits Taurus to enter Gemini [10:30 PM EST]. The dichotomy between security and the avant-garde may play out on this Wednesday with us questioning whether we have the resources to move forward with our goals, or whether we stay stuck in the complacency of discontent, which might provide security but at a cost of our individual self-expression. Although we are asked to draw upon our faith, even blind faith at times, and accept the age-old truth that what we seek is also seeking us, we may waver and capitulate and comply to what we expect of ourselves, to which we limit ourselves. Despite the internal tug-of-war that we are liable to experience, serendipitous encounters today can affirm the asequential reality of these times, where things occur in the most inexplicable manner. By means of our awakening and our ascension, our light dispels the darkness. With Mars ending its two-month transit of Taurus, a Sign in which Mars is in Detriment, uncomfortable and forcing a plodding approach, and Mars now entering Gemini, we might feel as though there is a lightening up with a more energetic sense about us and a desire to explore any number of different interests. This is a day to take things step-by-step but to keep in mind that we are also moving into a time when things occur in a most magical, even seemingly miraculous, manner.
Thursday, March 4th – Lifting Our Eyes – Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter. Thursday begins with the Scorpio Moon trine Neptune, and the Moon sextile Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius where the Moon opposes Mars. Mercury conjuncts Jupiter. Whether or not we got flummoxed yesterday by the Fixed Sign T-Square, Thursday allows us to straighten things out. We can draw upon our intuitive sense and a best practices approach to resolve various matters that might have stymied us earlier. By completing certain matters, we could be ready to broaden our reach and expand our activities. We are likely feeling upbeat and confident, our assurances encouraged by the people around us, those people who advocate for us no matter the issue or the likely outcome. What we have to watch out for is an overconfidence and an over-optimism that whatever we wish to do we can achieve successfully. The liability today and tomorrow is biting off more than we can chew, taking on more and more and with the belief that by juggling any number of things each one will prove successful. As the saying goes: ‘the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions’.
Friday, March 5th – On the Merry-Go-Round – Saturn, Venus, Sun. Friday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today sextile Saturn, and the Moon square both Venus and the Sun both in Pisces. Friday may start off with us focused on our future goals. We are likely to be in an upbeat mood, still feeling the enthusiasm, confidence and optimism we might have gained yesterday and have been feeling recently even in spite of some of the curveballs and thwarting impediments that may have gotten in our way. Without drawing upon due diligence and without considering the parameters in which we are operating, we could find ourselves today falling down the rabbit hole into a fantasy realm of hopes, wishes, illusions and delusions. Blind faith is one thing, but self-deception can prove lethal to our direction. This is a day to curb our enthusiasm, maintain a realistic perspective, and not buy into the belief that what we want is automatically what we are going to get. The evening hours offer pleasant escapes. We just have to curtail our indulgences and avoid excess. Let’s enjoy ourselves but not to the point of begging a hangover.
Saturday, March 6th – Out and About – Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday begins with the Sagittarius Moon sextile both Jupiter and Mercury both in Aquarius. The Moon squares Neptune before the Moon goes Void-of-Course over sixteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn late in the day. Friday night and early Saturday could have us enjoying ourselves, and then some. We are feeling enthusiastic about our prospects, and exuberant in our interactions with other people. There can be a great deal of talk today, but it would be wise for us to take everything with a grain of salt. While conversations can be light and lively and uplifting, I always suggest that we check the source and check their agenda. This is a day when we might be vulnerable to buying into the hype. This day is better served by our doing our own things, enjoying ourselves and engaging with people who are on our same page. This is a day when we could get caught up in the frenzy of these times with our energy spinning off in many various directions. Let’s consider this Saturday as a day for good times with good friends, with few expectations but with our eyes wide open.
Sunday, March 7th – Ground Control – Uranus, Venus. Sunday has the Moon in Capricorn with the Moon today trine Uranus and later in the day the Moon sextile Venus. After a couple of days when we might have found ourselves traipsing through la-la-land, caught up in our fantasies and enjoying the possibilities of even the seemingly impossible, this Sunday allows us to get our feet back on the ground. Not that the enthusiasm, optimism, and ideas of alternative options for ourselves are lost. On the contrary, we may find that we are able to implement some of our recent considerations. This is a day when we can streamline our operations, be more effective with less expenditure of energy, and take some of our newly formed ideas and put them into practical application. This day and the next two days could be highly productive days. By doing things differently and initiating new projects, we may find ourselves impassioned and determined to forge ahead with our goals clearly in mind. The end of the day might have us involved with someone’s problems but with the commitment to helping them resolve their problem and not with our fixing their problem for them.
