June 23rd – 29th, 2025

The astrology for this week of June 23rd through the 29th of 2025 has us experiencing more ups and downs but suggests we be cautious and clear in our dealings.

The week begins with a thrust of energy and a dash of confusion.  The mind might be willing but the body flagging.  Early in the week calls for temperance and patience.  We may have a desire to be fast out of the gate as we start the week, but our direction and itinerary could be missing.  Let’s avoid going in circles by slowing things down and having a good game plan as to what we wish to accomplish.

As the week progresses, we need to be wary that we don’t become legends in our own mind.  While there is truth to the Napoleon Hill wise words “whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve”, blind faith optimism could have us confident in our abilities but without the necessary tools to accomplish our goals.

The early part of this week suggests we slow things down and get a handle on any ‘feel good’ enthusiasm we might have.

The New Moon mid-week influences the next two weeks and can have us feeling invincible, able to slay dragons and believing our goals easy to realize.  With blocks from Saturn and Neptune, our ‘can do’ attitude is liable to hit some bumps along our pathway.

The latter part of the week is primed for good times with good friends.  We want to enjoy ourselves, put our personal mark on our involvements, and express our creative talents.

Romance is in the air over the weekend.  We just need to be certain that we are being collaborative and expressing not only our own interests but engaging the interests of the other person, other people.

Monday, June 23rd – Ill-conceived Intentions – Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun.  Monday begins this week with the Gemini Moon sextile both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, the Moon trine Pluto, and the Moon square Mars, all in the early morning hours before our waking up.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost forty-three and a half hours as the Moon completes its transit of Gemini without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Cancer at the end of Tuesday evening.  The Sun squares Neptune.  We may have great intentions as we start this week but find ourselves running around without getting much done.  Perhaps the accelerated patterns of our living have us in overdrive, but we could feel ourselves to be expending energy without being either effective or productive.  Running in place would be one way to get our energy out, and it would save gas.  Let’s not have great expectations for Monday and Tuesday of this week.  Even if we try and get things done, we are liable to do so in a rush with the likelihood of glossing over significant details.  Perhaps Monday and Tuesday would be best served by taking a ‘time out’ and not pressuring ourselves.  If we want to clean up, straighten things, and attend to busy work, that might be fine, but it would be wise to avoid significant decisions or long-term commitments today and tomorrow.

Tuesday, June 24th – Peel a Grape – Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Jupiter.  Tuesday continues with the Moon in Gemini with the Moon Void-of-Course that began yesterday morning and continues through virtually this entire day as the Moon makes no connections to the planets while the Moon completes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon exits Gemini to enter Cancer at 11:44 PM EDT tonight.  The Sun conjuncts Jupiter.  There is not a great deal of energy on either Monday or Tuesday this week.  Fortunately, we are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon so ‘no harm, no foul’.  Although we tend to put ourselves through the paces during this ever-accelerating life we lead, and despite the volatility of these tumultuous, turbulent times, every now and again we need to take a ‘time out’, slow things down, catch our breath, and reflect on how we are doing and what we are doing.  Monday and Tuesday of this week are two days when the energy suggests we take things down a notch or two and avoid pushing the envelope.

Wednesday, June 25th – Comforts of Home – Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Cancer New Moon, Sun, Mars.  Wednesday begins in the overnight hour with the Cancer Moon square both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries.  The Moon conjuncts Jupiter and the Moon conjuncts the Sun at the time of the New Moon [6:32 AM EDT].  The Moon sextiles Mars.  Much of today’s energies occur during the early morning hours.  Our sleep state might be restless as our surrealistic dreams bring up family issues or feelings of blockages to our personal interests.  We can shake off our sleep state by our feet hitting the floor, forgetting the images and feelings that beguiled us while sleeping, and realize that we have awoken to another day and one that imprints the next two weeks.  While the Cancer New Moon squares Saturn and Neptune, the New Moon conjuncts Jupiter, and sextiles Mars.  We may have to temper our personal desires to take into account the needs of our home and family and even our impact on the family of humankind.  Projects around home, being attentive to family matters, and making our world a better place could be much of our focus today and over the next two weeks.  Let’s consider the big picture and keep in mind the specific details necessary to successfully execute our plans.  We might draw upon our experiences, but we do not have to be encumbered by our past.  Let’s use this New Moon signature to affirm our security in an insecure world, develop solid foundations from which to move forward, and strengthen our inner centering to withstand the vagaries of these times.

Thursday, June 26th – Call to Action with Insight – Venus, Mercury, Uranus, Sun, Mars, Mercury Leo.  Thursday has the Cancer Moon sextile Venus.  Mercury sextiles Uranus, the Sun sextiles Mars, and Mercury exits Cancer to enter Leo [3:09 PM EDT].  Earlier this week may have been slow going, but we can pick up the pace during the second half of this week starting today.  We may be looking at fixing up our home by adding interesting touches.  Even if we are traveling, we might purchase something that we think would embellish our home environment.  Our intuition can be strong, and we could hear something that inspires us to action.  This is a day for us to expect the unexpected with the likelihood that any surprising information could well light a fire under us.  Mercury’s exit of Cancer ends the Stellium in Cancer and adds Fire to the Aries transiting planets as Mercury enters the Fixed Fire Sign of Leo.  We are still focused on home and family matters but looking to enjoy the fun events of summertime.  While we might have been reticent even relatively passive over the recent past, we have found our voice and willing to give expression to our thoughts and ideas and our creative talents.  If we have been hanging out in our cave, it’s time to get out and fully enjoy the summer sunshine. After a relatively quiet start to the week, this Thursday may herald a call to action.

Friday, June 27th – Pumped Up – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto.  Early Friday morning, the Cancer Moon sextiles Uranus.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for not quite an hour with the Moon completing its transit of Cancer with no further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Leo where today the Leo Moon conjuncts Mercury, the Moon trines both Saturn and Neptune both in Aries, and the Moon opposes Pluto.  The Moon’s planetary connections today are all in the early morning hours.  The day ends with Mercury trine Saturn to be followed tomorrow by Mercury trine Neptune.  With yesterday’s go trigger, this Friday can have us pumped up and putting spirit into action.  We could feel invincible, ready to take on the world, and determined to make our dreams come true.  We may feel so imbued with energy and passion that we are likely to assume that we can push through any obstacle, overcome any impediment, and like Superman leap tall buildings in a single bound.  Well, perhaps not the leap part, but we are likely to want to take giant strides today.  We do need to avoid overdoing or pushing the envelope since any pushback could prove severe.  Whether we employ our creative talents in our projects or enjoy the company of other people in fun events, we are looking to put our personal mark on our involvements and enjoy our life to the fullest.  No Debbie Downers or Eeyores for us today.  We are looking to embrace the fullness of life and living and enjoying every moment of it.  Our upbeat attitude could prove contagious, so let’s spread sunshine today wherever we go.

Saturday, June 28th – Good Day, Intense Night – Venus, Mercury, Neptune.  The Moon continues its transit of Leo with the Leo Moon square Venus at night.  Early in the day, Mercury trines Neptune.  Yesterday Mercury was trine Saturn. Today Mercury trines Neptune.  We can think of any number of things that we could enjoy on this Saturday.  Our intuition is highly attuned, and we might feel what is just right for us.  No need to be Goldilocks-like and try this, try that, before finding what is just right.  We might know what we want to do without much hesitation today.  We are looking for good times and sensing that the world is our oyster with a wide variety of options.  This is a day for us to enjoy, to give to ourselves those involvements that put a smile on our face and recharge our batteries.  While this Saturday can be an especially fun day that revitalizes us, the evening might not go so well.  Expectation can put a damper on social occasions, and it’s certainly not a great night for date night.  Relationships might be dicey with the sense that someone is coming from ego with a narcissistic bent where it’s all about them and less cooperative and collaborative.  Let’s enjoy the day but be cautious about the evening.  Why not call it an early night?

Sunday, June 29th – Throwing Down the Gauntlet – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Mercury, Pluto.  Sunday has the Moon completing its transit of Leo with the Leo Moon square Uranus.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for forty minutes with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes is transit of Leo and before the Moon moves into Virgo where today the Virgo Moon conjuncts Mars and the Moon sextiles both Jupiter and the Sun both in Cancer.  Mercury opposes Pluto.  Yesterday may have had good times in the morning, perhaps strained relations at night.  Today is quite the opposite.  The morning hours of this Sunday could provide unwelcome surprising developments and people liable to acting belligerently.  Arguments are likely to ensue from heated discussions.  Social decorum could be lost to throwing down the gauntlet.  As the day progresses, we move from looking for good times in all the wrong places to dealing with matters that need to be addressed.  The past few days might have been focused on fun with various re-creational activities thrown in, and a few bumps along the way, with our usual responsibilities postponed, but this Sunday may have us more attentive to what we need to accomplish, some of the mundane matters we might have neglected while enjoying [?] summertime frolics.
