The astrology for this week of March 31st through the 6th of April of 2025, the last week of this three-week Mercury retrograde, urges caution on our roller coaster ride but suggests a vibrant and exciting weekend.
The week begins slowly as we plod along. We may be trying to get used to the significant, albeit subtle, major shift in energy that occurred with Neptune exiting Pisces to enter Aries this past Sunday. Although the last time that Neptune first entered Aries back in 1861 triggered the US Civil War, the thrust of this Neptune Aries may hopefully be associated with us engaging spirit in action and ascension in consciousness. Might we become more aware of life forms other than those with which we are familiar?
There’s no foolishness as we come into April. On the contrary, we could be highly productive, even despite the Mercury retrograde, and can accomplish a lot. We just need to be attuned to the transformational nature of these times where things can occur suddenly and in a most unexpected manner. Let’s keep in mind that we are co-pilots of our journey with the universal energies unfolding.
Things may go swimmingly during the mid-week period only for us to hit the wall of resistance once we move beyond Wednesday’s ‘hump day’. Even if we are thrown for a loop by blockages, obstacles, and frustrations, we are unlikely to stay too long in victim mode but rather may pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start the weekend early.
And what a fabulous weekend this can be. If we could start the weekend early on Friday, be spontaneous and open to whatever comes our way, this weekend may almost seem magical with most interesting incidents occurring and various events putting a smile on our face.
Whether we spend the weekend out of Dodge or stay around home to focus on springtime projects, this weekend can truly be a winner.
Monday, March 31st – Slow Down. Monday begins this week with the Moon continuing its transit of Taurus but with the Moon making no connections to the planets today. There is not a great deal of energy today. This Monday would be a good day to deal with mundane details and the minutiae of our lives. If we have not dealt with our taxes, we might want to work on them to avoid the last-minute rush. Let’s keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde, so it would be wise for us to check and recheck before assuming that we have dealt with the particulars correctly. Tying up loose ends, bringing matters to closure, and a good spring cleaning are effective ways to use this day. With Neptune having just exited Pisces to enter Aries this past Sunday, we could be feeling a little out of sorts, sensing that we should do something but not knowing what exactly it is that we should be doing. Far better for us to use this Monday in cleaning up, clearing out. Creating more space provides the room to bring in the new. We had the Aries New Moon this past Saturday truly kicking off the spring season but with the retrograde Mercury until next Monday, it would be wise for us to plan our new beginnings without implementing them but figuring out what we want to engage and the best ways for us to do so. Today is a slowdown day, a day that allows us to concentrate on those matters that we often skip over in our rush to cover ever so many bases in our accelerated pace of doing life.
Tuesday, April 1st – No Fool Today – Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Venus, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune, Pluto. Tuesday has the Taurus Moon sextile Mars in Cancer, the Moon conjunct Uranus, and the Moon sextile the three Pisces-transiting planets of Saturn, Venus, and Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-course for almost three hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini where today the Gemini Moon sextiles Neptune, and the Moon trines Pluto. If we took our time yesterday to put one foot in front of the other and methodically got on with our day, then this Tuesday can have us picking up speed and being highly effective and successfully productive. All the Moon aspects today are harmonious and consequently we may find ourselves operating on greased wheels. The Stellium of three planets in Pisces is triggered, and the three transcendental planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto engaged. We are able to operate at our optimum today and do so in streamlined ways. Whether we draw upon technology and / or a best practices approach, this day might almost seem magical with everything fitting neatly into place. The early part of the day is geared to getting things done, organizing ourselves and concluding matters that we might have worked on yesterday. The latter part of th day is more suited for social engagements whether we get together with someone or chat them up by text or phone. Conversations in the evening can provide positive reinforcements of our intended projects both by someone’s encouragement and their input of suggestions we had not taken into account. This Tuesday is a primo day when much can get done. We’re not a fool today but rather focused on our goals and the willingness to complete various matters to have the space to initiate our springtime projects preferably after Mercury turns direct next Monday.
Wednesday, April 2nd – Looking Good, Feeling Good – Sun, Jupiter. Wednesday continues with the Gemini Moon with the Gemini Moon sextile the Sun, and the Moon conjunct Jupiter in the evening. We could be feeling good about things and patting ourselves on the back for what we might have accomplished the past two days. Our upbeat feeling may be contagious. Our relationships today are pleasant interactions with everyone feeling good about themselves and their friends. No naysayers for us today. Eeyores and Debbie Downers need not darken our door, for if they were to, we would shoo them away. Today is a day when we’re likely feeling optimistic, confident with the sense that life is good. No matter what might seem to be happening in the world-at-large, we are unwilling to allow our sunny disposition to be clouded. This is a day when we might realize that when we’re looking good, feeling good, things happen to us in a positive way. It’s the law of attraction. If we sink into negativity and depression, we are liable to draw to us negative and depressive situations. If we keep a positive attitude, things are more likely to work in our favor. Relationships can be highlighted today and especially in the evening. Feeling good about ourselves, we are better able to appreciate the people in our life. This is a day for us to walk on the sunny side of the street and embrace the light of the moon.
Thursday, April 3rd – More than a Blip – Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune. Thursday has the Gemini Moon squaring the three Pisces-transiting planets of Saturn, Venus, and Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for close to four and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer where in the evening the Cancer Moon squares Neptune. Could we be going from yesterday’s sublime to today’s ridiculousness? Possibly so, for yesterday may have been a truly pleasant day when we felt good about ourselves and believed that things were going our way, an assumption that we could have justified by the previous two days’ productivity and effectiveness. This Thursday can just be a mess with us trying to push forward only to be thwarted by whatever impediment presents itself. We need to avoid banging our head against the wall. Even if we believe such head banging will make things better, this Thursday could have us meeting all kinds of delays and frustrations, various obstacles and constraints. We might be trying too much or trying too hard. Mercury retrograde and Murphy’s Law of ‘whatever can go wrong could go wrong’ are liable to play themselves out today. If we encounter problems, it might be best to leave the situation for another day. Otherwise, we may feel Sisyphus-like with us exerting all kinds of effort only to have the progress we make roll back on us and leaving us back where we were. Today calls for a great deal of patience and not to engage victimhood or the blame game. It’s not about us. It’s just the energies of the day.
Friday, April 4th – These Magic Moments – Sun, Saturn, Uranus, Mars. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer on this Friday, but the Moon makes no contact with the planets until the late part of the day when the Cancer Moon squares the Sun. Saturn sextiles Uranus, Mars sextiles Uranus, and Mars trines Saturn. Although the Moon does not give us a great deal of energy today, three other planets do. What they provide is an interesting combination where we might feel as though we have our head in the clouds and our feet firmly planted on the ground. Not only can things occur in the most unexpected manner today. We could discover that we are able to determine the best structure and means by which to advance our interests all the while that we are streamlining our operations, utilizing new technologies and drawing upon innovative techniques. This is a day when things fall into place in an almost mystical or magical manner. It is important that we be open to receive insights, unexpected developments, and a willingness to stay out of our own way. By keeping in mind that during this paradigm shift things occur in a manner that often defies explanation or happen with seemingly no rhyme or reason, we can take advantage of opportunities that just seem to arise rather than our making them happen. Once we get a sign, let’s heed that sign, and then proceed down that trajectory in the ways indicated. We don’t have to be in control of situations but rather be willing to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves. Despite people having difficulty with the volatile, tumultuous nature of these times, we are living in a transformational, revolutionary time when the new ‘normal’ can be dynamic and exciting and does not have to be anxiety-provoking or threatening. We just need to get in the flow and get with the program. Our choice, always our choice.
Saturday, April 5th – Comforts of Home – Uranus, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday has the Moon finishing its transit of Cancer with the Cancer Moon sextile Uranus, the Moon conjunct Mars, and the Moon trine the three Pisces-transiting planets of Saturn, Venus, and Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Cancer and before the Moon enters Leo early on Sunday morning. If we have springtime home and family projects, this Saturday would be a good day to get our necessary components and focus on matters around our home environment. Some people may use this weekend to get out of Dodge, but it wouldn’t be surprising for them to find on their travels certain accessories to add to their living space. While we might feel energized this weekend, some of it as a result of whatever strange, bizarre and thrilling situations might have occurred yesterday, this Saturday can either have us involved in fix-up projects or luxuriating in the sanctuary and sanctity of home. With Uranus highlighted yesterday and today, we may want to keep our antennae up regarding interesting insights and be willing to act spontaneously to any surprising developments we might wise to pursue. This can be a truly exciting weekend if we’re willing to play the scavenger hunt and keep attuned to any clues we could come across and be mindful of what may lead us to our next involvement. A weekend to enjoy and to gain greater appreciation of the synchronicity of these times when things occur in a most asequential manner.
Sunday, April 6th – Loving Life – Neptune, Pluto, Sun, Jupiter, Venus, Mars. The Moon moves into Leo in the very early morning hours with the Leo Moon today trine Neptune and the Moon opposed Pluto. The Sun sextiles Jupiter, and Venus trines Mars. Our sleep state can be deep and refreshing with us waking up ready for fun and adventure. Although we might prefer company for our day’s activities, we need to prevent a battle of wills over what our plans for the day are to be. With everyone feeling upbeat and enthusiastic, each person might believe they have the greatest idea for the day’s itinerary. The more we can create win – win situations where everyone feels heard and acknowledged, any irritants are likely to dissolve, and people will be more collaborative and willing to go along with the consensus. This Sunday is a good day for our relationships, our social interactions, and a day when we’re loving life and living it to our best. Whatever we choose to do on this Sunday, this day certainly seems like a ‘mental health’ day when we recharge our batteries, reinvigorate, and see the half glass of water as half full and filling up rather than half empty. A positive attitude is contagious, and the people with whom we share this day are also likely feeling good about life and how they’re living it. A primo day for us to fully en joy.
