February 24th – March 2nd, 2025

The astrology for this week of February 24th through the 2nd of March of 2025 can have us organizing, straightening, and tidying as we feel bursts of spring fever after suffering through the winter doldrums.

The week begins with us tending to what we need to get done.  By focusing on the details and the specifics, we could accomplish a great amount before our attention turns to our prospects for the future and planned get-togethers with family and friends.

The latter part of the week gives us the Pisces New Moon on Thursday evening and a rare great planetary alignment on the 28th as Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars all line up in a row in the night sky.

Venus turns retrograde on Saturday and retrograde in Aries, a Sign of Detriment for Venus.  Relationships might prove dicey.  People may question whether they are getting enough from their relationships with a possibility of considering the issue ‘what have you done for me lately?’

The weekend, which are the first two days of March, may also have us champing at the bit ready for the spring season to come with the liabilities of our being a little too self-absorbed and ready to take on the world, although with a tendency to spinning our wheels.

Monday, February 24th – Clearing the Way – Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course.  Monday begins the week with the Moon completing its transit of Capricorn and with the Capricorn Moon today opposed Mars, the Moon trine Uranus, and the Moon sextile the three Pisces-transiting planets of Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune.  Late in the day the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over two hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius at the start of Tuesday.  We may want to take care of whatever needs to get done.  We might be attentive to our obligations with the realization that what we accomplish today provides space for other considerations tomorrow.  This day would be a good day for us to complete outstanding matters, deal with any pressing demands, and tie up loose ends of situations we wish to resolve.  We can clear the way so that we don’t trip up over unresolved issues.

Tuesday, February 25th – Focus on our Future – Pluto, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn.  Tuesday has the Moon moving into Aquarius with the Aquarius Moon conjunct Pluto, the Moon sextile Venus, and the Moon trine Jupiter.  Mercury conjuncts Saturn.  Today is a good day for projections of where we want to go and what we want to do.  We can focus on the truly meaningful and give thought to a wide range of possibilities, all with a concentration on what we would like to achieve and the quality of life we are looking to obtain.  With the two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm Venus and Jupiter in harmonious aspect with the Moon today, relationships can be close to idyllic.  We might enjoy the company of quirky types, those individuals marching to their own drummer, and who are not interested in playing the ‘compare and despair’ game.  We can be serious of thought, strategize the best methods to accomplish our goals, and be confident of our intended success.  Let’s not allow serious of thought turn into a moody and depressive quagmire.  We could have swings between negativity and elation, but it would be wise for us to keep to the sunny side of the street.  Life is good if we choose to see that way.

Wednesday, February 26th – Off Kilter – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course.  Wednesday has the Aquarius Moon square Uranus late in the day.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for ten and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon moves into Pisces early Thursday morning.  There is not a great deal of energy on this Wednesday.  We might be lulled by the gentleness and ‘feel good’ qualities of yesterday.  Today is a good day to ruminate, get together with a friend[s], and enjoy the sense that life is good.  Any reveries today could be knocked asunder late in the day when a curveball of unexpected problem[s] strikes and knocks us off-kilter.  Expenses, someone’s personal issues, and unplanned-for demands are any number of issues that might bring us back to the realization that it’s not all ‘sunshine and roses.’  The pendulum swings and no matter how idyllic yesterday may have been with us enjoying the quietude during this morning’s hours, late in the day could have us startled into the reality of this paradigm shift where things can occur in the most unexpected manner, sometimes wondrous surprises, other times frightening challenges.  The latter could make us aware that during this paradigm shift we need to keep aware, maintain mindfulness, and be adept at shifting and altering in accord with the changing conditions and circumstance.  We are on the ‘dark side’ of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon, so it would be suggested that we not make major decisions or long-term commitments today, only rid ourselves of the extraneous today and welcome the new tomorrow.

Thursday, February 27th – All This and More – Pisces New Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus.  Thursday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Pisces New Moon as the Moon conjuncts the Sun [7:45 PM EST] and the Moon squares Jupiter.  Mercury sextiles Uranus.  This day allows us to look beyond the mere mundane and offers an otherworldly quality to our day.  Have you ever noticed how things often fit neatly into place in an almost magical sort of way?  This Thursday offers us a glimpse into the beyond, an ability to pull back the curtain and experience a surprising incident.  We could meet someone, hear something, that may seem rather extraordinary, especially in the way that it occurs.  We can gain interesting insights if we are open to receive and not close ourselves off due to our presumed beliefs.  This New Moon is the last of the astrological year before next month’s Vernal Equinox, the astrological new year, and the start of the spring season.  Our faith can be renewed, our foresight strengthened and our forensic ability to cut to the core to see what is truly going on adept and at its peak.  This Thursday suggests we think outside the box where we can find the answer to any perplexing problems.  Mini-miracles are likely to occur and when they do, let’s not cast them off as sheer coincidences but rather an indication of the asequential reality in which we find ourselves during this paradigm shift.

Friday, February 28th – Old or New – Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Mercury.  Friday has the Moon continuing through Pisces with the Pisces Moon today trine Mars, the Moon sextile Uranus, and the Moon conjunct both Saturn and Mercury.  Sorting through our various matters could be like a filtration process where we need to address old issues all the while looking towards new developments.  This is a day for us to streamline our operations, rid ourselves of the extraneous matters that are often solely distractions and diversions, and clean up and clear out the irrelevant and past issues.  We could go through various mood swings on this Friday, but it would be wise that we are not curtailed from considering new trajectories or ways by which we can improve our efficiency.  Family responsibilities and mundane tasks may have to be addressed, but let’s not get so involved in our obligations that we negate surprising opportunities.  If we could do something spontaneously in the evening, it would add to the sense that we are living during a most fascinating time.  We can easily rush to judgment regarding what we assume to be going on, but our perception might be limited by our consciousness.  Increasingly, we need to embrace the imagination of a child to become cognizant of the awe and wonder of these times.  We may do our own push-pull between old and new today, but the new will become more dominant as time goes on.

Saturday, March 1st – World of Our Own – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto, Venus, Venus retrograde.  In the early morning hours of this Saturday, the Pisces Moon conjuncts Neptune.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost two hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries where today the Aries Moon sextiles Pluto in the morning and the Aries Moon conjuncts Venus late in the day.  Venus turns retrograde [7:36 PM EST].  Both Saturday and Sunday of this week can have us in a moody and emotional state.  This is a weekend when we might choose various elements of escapism from our ordinary routine.  With the Moon moving into Aries, the Moon begins a new month-long transit through the Zodiac wheel.  We may give thought to our planned get-togethers with friends, consider projects we wish to engage, and think about ways to add increased spice to our life.  With Mars having turned direct last weekend, we have more gas in our tank and now with the Aries Moon we are likely to get on with it, whatever the ‘it’ we determine it to be.  With Venus turning retrograde in Aries, a Sign of Detriment for Venus, where our relationships tend to favor ‘all about me’, our interactions with other people could prove dicey.  We may be so self-absorbed that we don’t take into account the interests of the other person, only what we want and what we feel we deserve.  Let’s channel our energies into creative pursuits rather than grandstanding or trying to one-up someone else.  This is the first day of March, and we can all be tasting a scent of the forthcoming springtime.  Today is a good day for us to engage machete in hand and carve our own path.  Every journey starts with a first step, and we could choose to take a step this weekend in starting up some new involvement.

Sunday, March 2nd – Pull in the Reins – Jupiter, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Jupiter.  Virtually as we start this Sunday, the Aries Moon sextiles Jupiter followed by the Moon square Mars.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost twenty-one hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus on Monday morning.  Mercury conjuncts Neptune, and the Sun squares Jupiter.  We may believe the world is our oyster on this Sunday with a desire to sample every aspect of it.  Although we can feel upbeat, optimistic, and creative, a restraining factor could be what we need to do around our home base.  This is a day that virtually demands that we pull in the reins, apply brakes to impetuous actions, and not wind up merely spinning our wheels.  There can be a tendency, morphing into a liability, of taking on too much and trying to do too much and possibly without doing anything well.  Although our interests could be far beyond our normal parameters, it would be wise for us to keep close to home, find outlets for our creative talents, and not dissipate our energies in silly diversions and needless distractions.  To get the optimum out of this day, we might consider a ‘to do’ list of options we could engage today.  Our moods and emotions can do wild swings today from despair to elation, back and forth, especially if we don’t take the time to channel our energies but only spin our wheels.  This is a good day for us to cool our jets, contemplate and reflect on where we are and where we may choose to go.  Getting out into nature can provide a grounding source, a quality very much in need on this Sunday when we could more likely feel like a feather in the wind.
