The astrology for this week of November 4th through the 10th of 2024 can be a highly productive week if we keep our head down, focus on what needs to get done, and avoid the noise and static of incessant bickering.
The week begins with the push pulls between what we need to do and what we want to do. With all the hoo-ha around the US elections on Tuesday, many of us might seek an escape from the haranguing, prognosticating and incessant babble that has gone on and may well continue into the foreseeable future.
Tuesday is Election Day in the US and whether we engage the process or see it as yet another US entertainment of bread and circuses, our anxiety level could be ratcheted up. No matter what happens on Election Day, as Yogi Berra philosophized: “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over.”
And it’s unlikely to be over in the election grudge match with all sides lawyering up.
It will be important to keep in mind that a Mars Pluto opposition is in play and will be through much of 2025. Intensity is liable to be ratcheted up severalfold with all forms of acting out, aggressive behavior and violent actions evidenced in many varied incidents.
The mid-week through the latter part of the week could be a highly effective and productive time if we concentrate on our personal projects and not get distracted by all the noise in the background.
The weekend could offer fun get-togethers as long as we avoid contentious discussions. Conversations are often opinion based and sometimes with little true information or facts and figures to back up any assertions. The person who speaks loudest is not always the person with accurate knowledge. If we spend time with people over the weekend, let’s keep the conversations light and airy, focus on our prospects with an optimistic attitude evident.
Sunday would be a good day to tune out the so-called realities in our lives. A walk in the woods, time at the shore or just taking a ‘time out’ to meditate, reflect and contemplate can restore our well-being.
Monday, November 4th – Time to Work, Time to Play – Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Sun. Monday begins this week with the Moon in Sagittarius with the Sagittarius Moon today triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square Saturn in the early morning hours, and the Moon opposed Jupiter later in the day. The Moon conjuncts Venus, and the Sun sextiles Saturn. As we start our week, we might feel our obligations hanging heavy over us. We may not have the emotional strength to address what we need to get done. If we would shake off any despair in facing our responsibilities, we could take a ‘grin and bear it’ attitude, hunker down, and find that we can accomplish many of our obligations faster than we had imagined. By taking care of our tasks early in the day, the latter part of the day can be more fun filled with us spending time with a special someone and engaging in creative, re-creational outlets. Monday is a time to work and a time to play.
Tuesday, November 5th – Mass of Confusion – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday begins the day with the Sagittarius Moon square Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn where today the Capricorn Moon makes no connections to the planets. Today is Election Day in the US, although many people have already voted during early voting days or by mail. There can be hiccups today, both in regard to the polling stations with the voting and also with our own personal direction as we deal with various mood swings that may leave us confused to the point of spinning our wheels. As the day progresses, we can get a better grip on things, but we might need time to process what we are intending to do and how best to achieve results. If we assume the election results might determine for us how best to proceed, we could play the waiting game to get further information regarding the backdrop in which we shall be operating and moving our ambitions forward. A ‘wait and see’ attitude may be the best approach right now, and one that we are likely to see with companies postponing significant decisions until greater clarity of the landscape through which we shall be navigating.
Wednesday, November 6th – Dust Settling Before Whipped Up Again – Saturn, Sun. Wednesday has the Capricorn Moon sextile Saturn in Pisces and the Moon sextile the Sun in Scorpio. We could have the sense that the election results in the US are settled, but as Yogi Berra philosophized: “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” Even if there seems to be clarity regarding the country’s direction from the election, such belief does not mean that everyone is accepting of the results. Let’s keep in mind that now through much of 2025 we shall be dealing with a Mars Pluto opposition with the liability of intensity being turned up severalfold with consequent aggressive behavior and violent actions. Nonetheless, we do have greater awareness of the parameters in which we shall be operating. This Wednesday allows us to strategize, devise our best practices approach, all with the intention of being resourceful by doing more with less. We need not get involved in any impending fray. We just need to notate how trends are likely to unfold and conditions likely to develop. This Wednesday suggests we get back in harness of working towards achieving our goals and not be distracted by the commentaries or opinions being propounded since they may be tainted by subjective bias more than objective fact. During these times of paradigm shift when things can change suddenly and dramatically, it is important for us to be mindful and maintain awareness with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
Thursday, November 7th – Easier than Harder – Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Mars. Thursday has the Capricorn Moon connecting with the three transcendental planets as the Moon trines Uranus, the Moon sextiles Neptune, and the Moon conjuncts Pluto. The Moon then moves into Aquarius where today the Aquarius Moon opposes Mars. During this paradigm shift, one of the main characteristics of these times is the ability for things to be easier, not harder. The key to operating on greased wheels is to be certain that we do not get in our own way but rather engage both our intuitive sense and those ‘ah-ha’ moments of clarity where we can streamline operations and be more productive with less expenditure of energy. Things can occur in the most unexpected manner. The key component in taking advantage of the gifts from the universe is for us to exhibit humility and not take ourselves too seriously or assume that we have total control over circumstance. Conditioned to make things happen, people may try and force situations to their will. And that could prove a huge problem during this paradigm shift where we are moving from linear, sequential reality into asequential reality where things can occur in the most inexplicable manner. We do not have to be victim to circumstance, but it is essential that we work with the universal unfolding, even with all its twists and turns, to fully benefit from the magic and the mini-miracles of these times. Let’s allow ourselves to engage life easier rather than harder.
Friday, November 8th – In a World of Our Own – Mercury. Friday has the Aquarius Moon sextile Mercury. If we could get out of town, whether literally or figuratively, on this Friday, we might prefer to do so. We may feel that anywhere other than where we are presently would be close to idyllic. This Friday can have us ruminating about possibilities, far away places, and virtually everything but our usual routine responsibilities. Let’s not place heavy expectations on ourselves today, for we might not be in the mood to be productive or accomplish a great deal. This is a day for us to spread our wings, consider a wide range of options, with the willingness to fly solo if need be and focus on what we truly want to engage. One of the beauties of ‘down time’ and ‘alone time’ is that in our private sanctuary they tend to like us there. We could use this Friday as a ‘mental health’ day, time to shut out the cacophony of life and just enjoy the blessings and bounties of doing life. The more we can recharge our batteries, uplift ourselves and see all the goodness in our life, the less likely we are to get sucked into the negativity and barrage of life-draining incidents.
Saturday, November 9th – Too Close to the Sun – Lunar T-Square, Sun, Uranus, Jupiter, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune. Saturday continues with the Moon in Aquarius with the Aquarius Moon triggering a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon square the Sun in Scorpio and the Moon square Uranus in Taurus. The Moon engages the two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm with the Aquarius Moon trine Jupiter early in the day and the Moon sextile Venus in the evening. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for three and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces at the end of the day. Venus squares Neptune. This Saturday can prove challenging. While we might want to enjoy ourselves today, something or someone could disrupt our plans. We may have too much on our plate but neither the time nor the resources to do what we want to do. Relationships are liable to be sketchy today with us wondering whether we are doing the dance with a trickster, someone appearing one way their reality being something quite different. This day suggests we go slow, not ‘rush the river’, but take our time to figure things out and to have contingency plans in mind. The evening may be far more pleasant for our social engagements, a vast improvement over the day itself, but by the end of the day we’re ready to shut the door and bring the day to closure.
Sunday, November 10th – Slow to Start – Mercury, Saturn. Sunday has the Moon in Pisces, but the Moon makes no connections to the planets until late in the day when the Moon square Mercury and the Moon conjuncts Saturn. Taking our time to start this Sunday would be well advised. Today is a day for us to loll about, relaxing and reinvigorating. Meditation, contemplations, and prayers for ‘brighter days through better ways’ would soothe our jangled nerves and restore our sense of sanity. Enjoying nature’s cathedral by a walk in the woods, a stroll by the shore, or just sitting on a bench in the quiet of a park could be the necessary transfusion to affirm that ‘all is right in our world’. By slow starting in the morning, taking a nature infusion during the afternoon could give us a second wind in the evening to attend to matters around our home and prepare for the week ahead. As we have all probably noticed, the energies of these times provide days of intense energy and activity, other days that are less frenetic and allow us to catch our breath. The age-old wise saying of ‘moderation in all things’ is a wonderful concept but especially hard to achieve and maintain now through much of 2025 with us being impacted by the Mars Pluto opposition. Let’s just do the best we can by keeping a grip on highly reactive and aggressive actions.
