November 11th – 17th, 2024

The astrology for this week of November 11th through the 17th of 2024 suggests we get a grip, avoid impetuous actions, and not assume that some other place would be better than where we are, which just might not be the case.

The week begins with us tending to be more reactive than proactive to the conditions and circumstances beyond our control.  A liability of falling back on playing the victim card might add to our discomfort and negative attitude.

Venus exits Sagittarius to enter Capricorn.  Relationships can shift from being bright and lively to being dour with an attitude of ‘what have you done for me lately’.  People are likely to view relationships in terms of what can be personally gained rather than being collaborative.

Perhaps the collateral damage for some from the election is a belief that ‘the sky is falling’ to borrow from the children nursery rhyme of Chicken Little.

The week begins with the victim card playing out and a sense of depression as if the walls were closing in.

As we come into the mid-week period, we could shake off a lot of the angst, ‘pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again.’

The mid-week period impels us towards new beginnings, initiations we might wish to pursue, now aware of the possible parameters in which we shall be operating.

We do need to be wary of extreme actions, a caveat to keep in mind through the early part of 2025, as we suffer under the influence of a Mars Pluto opposition, which is liable to trigger intense acting out, violent behavior, and physical aggression.

Although these volatile times give license to metronome-like swings between passivity and activity, reactivity and proactivity, it is essential that we maintain a grip on our emotions and actions and not get caught up in the frenzy of these times.

The latter part of the week has the Taurus Full Moon on Friday, the same day that Saturn ends its four and a half months retrograde cycle and turns direct.  We could now be better able to advance our interests, develop our projects, and focus on what we wish to pursue and how best to do so.

The weekend may prove a little schizy.  We might have a long list on our ‘to do’ list, much of which might only be mindless diversions and fascinating distractions.  We do need to recognize that our plans can be made but their implementation thwarted by unexpected developments.  This weekend calls for us to ’bend like a reed or break like an oak’ and be flexible and adaptable to the conditions rather than trying to enforce our will.

This is a lively week on the roller coaster of the paradigm shift with its various ups and downs, but all of which makes life ever more exciting.

Monday, November 11th – All by Myself – Jupiter, Sun, Uranus, Neptune, Venus Capricorn.  Monday begins this week with the Moon in Pisces and the Pisces Moon square Jupiter, the Moon trine the Sun, the Moon sextile Uranus, and the Moon conjunct Neptune.  Early Tuesday, the Moon completes the trifecta of aspects to the transcendental planets when the Moon sextiles Pluto.  Venus exits Sagittarius and enters Capricorn [1:26 PM EST].  We could start this week in a moody, highly emotional attitude.  We may want to do any number of things today, but our intentions can prove either an overload of possibilities or blocked by our responsibilities.  With the transcendental planets engaged, it is important that we not get too full of ourselves or assume that we are in total control of situations.  If we do so, we could lose sight of the options that the universe might have in mind for us.  This is a day for us to consider alternatives and keep mindful of the signals along the way.  Unexpected developments late in the day can steer us in right direction and get us off any circling round and around we might have done earlier in the day.  Venus entering Capricorn can have us looking at our relationships as to how they best serve us.  Relationships found wanting might not have any appeal nor grab our attention.

Tuesday, November 12th – Full Throttle without a Map – Pluto, Venus, Lunar Grand Trine, Mars, Mercury, Saturn.  Tuesday begins with the Pisces Moon sextile Pluto in the early morning hours and completing the Moon’s connections to the three transcendental planets that began yesterday.  After the Moon sextiles Pluto, the Moon exits Pisces and enters Aries where today the Aries Moon squares Venus, and the Moon triggers a Fire Sign Grand Trine with the Moon trine Mars in Leo early in the day and the Moon trine Mercury in Sagittarius late in the day.  Mercury squares Saturn.  We might feel that we have a great amount to accomplish on this Tuesday and with the energy to do so.  What we need to consider is whether we have strategized our plans or are just going hell-bent for glory.  Today is not a day to be lost to rushing around without drawing upon time management skills and an itinerary in hand.  Proper planning and strategizing our moves might seem to stall our burst forward this Tuesday, but it would be far more effective and productive for us to seriously consider what we want to do and then have a detailed game plan as to how best to proceed.  We are likely to have a great deal of energy today and primarily focused on initiations and putting our individual mark on our endeavors.

Wednesday, November 13th – In My World – Jupiter.  Wednesday continues with the Aries Moon with the Moon today sextile Jupiter.  No matter what might be occurring in the outside world with various people handwringing about this, that or some other perceived problem, this Wednesday is all about each one of our individual selves.  Our creative juices can be flowing, and our interactions with other people may have us operating at our very best.  We could be feeling good about our life and our prospects.  Just as change seems to be in vogue for the world order, we are likely enlisting change to make our lives brighter through better ways.  Today is a good day for us to consider the options we can envision for us to pursue, all with the recognition that we might do a whittling down once we consider the wide range of options we could engage.  This Wednesday might be ‘hump day’ regarding the middle of our work week, but today can have us on cloud nine feeling good about ourselves, feeling good about our endeavors, and feeling good about our circle of friends and contacts.  What’s not to like about an upbeat day, if we are willing to embrace it?  Yes, this Wednesday can be a primo day, a day when we are most interested in how life is working for us rather than assuming that life is working against us.  En joy!

Thursday, November 14th – Slow and Steady – Pluto, Mars, Venus, Saturn.  Thursday begins with the Aries Moon square Pluto in the early morning hours.  The Moon then moves into Taurus where today the Taurus Moon squares Mars and the Moon trines Venus in the early morning hours, and the Moon sextiles Saturn to end the day.  One of the main considerations during these times, as we are being increasingly influenced by a Mars Pluto opposition through the Spring of 2025, is to avoid impetuous actions.  The liability of frustrations and internal energy percolating to the point of explosive actions cannot be discounted.  Like a volcano with the energy percolating and necessitating steam vents to release the buildup of the energies, we too need creative outlets to release any frustrations or blockages we might be feeling.  Although our tendency may be to rush forward and to release our energies in assertive, sometimes aggressive, behavior, it would be wise for us to restrain our impulses and consider logically how to vent our frustrations and how best to proceed with our plans.  Instead of a quick and dramatic thrust forward, slow and steady might prove far more productive and successful.  We might be fast out of the gate in the morning hours only to find our rhythm and pace as the day unfolds.

Friday, November 15th – Rock or Sand – Taurus Full Moon, Sun, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn direct.  Friday continues with the Taurus Moon with the Moon today opposing the Sun at the Full Moon [4:28 PM EST].  The Full Moon enlists Uranus with the Moon conjunct Uranus today, the Sun opposed Uranus tomorrow.  As it has done in recent months, the Moon connects with the three transcendental planets with the Moon conjunct Uranus and the Moon sextile Neptune today, and the Moon trine Pluto early Saturday.  Saturn ends its four and a half months retrograde cycle with Saturn turning direct today [9:20 AM EST].  This is a day for us to consider whether we are building our future upon rock or upon sand with the recognition that building upon rock provides a formidable and indomitable strength of foundation while building our future upon sand makes it liable to being washed away.  What we also need to keep in mind is that during this asequential reality of the paradigm shift we do not have to do it all.  Things can occur in a most unexpected manner.  We just need to be attuned to the signals along the way and heed the indications from the universal energies unfolding.  Today and tomorrow are days for a good clear up and clean out of our lives, ridding ourselves of the extraneous, all the while that we cut to the core and focus on the truly meaningful.

Saturday, November 16th – My Way or Another Way – Pluto, Mars, Saturn, Sun, Uranus.  Saturday has the Moon completing its transit of Taurus in the early morning hours with the Moon trine Pluto.  The Moon then exits Taurus to enter Gemini where today the Gemini Moon sextiles Mars in the early morning hours, and the Moon squares Saturn at the end of the day.  The Sun opposes Uranus.  An essential factor during this paradigm shift is for us not to get attached to what we want the way that we want it.  A lack of flexibility and pigheadedness on our part are recipes for some good headbanging, tenderizing our mental attitudes, and making us more willing to accede to the promptings of the universal energies and accept our role as co-creators with the universe rather than assuming our total control over our conditions and circumstance.  This Saturday may force us to take into account alternatives and contingency plans rather than our intended full speed ahead.  If we are determined to force our will upon the day’s activities, we could wind up doing some severe headbanging that would leave us exhausted by the end of the day.  Eventually, we could come to the realization that times have changed and that we might as well adapt to the changing times.  We may want to do things our own personal way, but the universe and divine intervention can have far better plans for us than we could have possibly imagined for ourselves.

Sunday, November 17th – All Over the Place – Jupiter, Lunar T-Square, Mercury, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course.  Sunday has the Moon continuing its transit of Gemini with the Gemini Moon today conjunct Jupiter, and the Moon triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Gemini Moon opposed Mercury early in the day and the Moon square Neptune to end the day.  The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer early on Monday morning.  We could be feeling our oats today, ready to take on the world, and engage any number of things and preferably with our special someone.  We may be scintillating, bubbly and bright, and talking a blue streak about any number of topics.  While we can be on an emotional high, clarity could be lacking with us tending to be all over the place but possibly with no rhyme or reason to our involvements.  Instead of scattering our energies, it would be wise for us to have a game plan for this Sunday and go in order of our preferred involvements.
