The astrology for this week of March 27th through April 2nd of 2023 can have us in full spring mode, feeling our oats and wanting to go for the gold [figuratively and perhaps even literally what with the banking system teetering].
We start the week seeking out those people that we relate to, agree with and who seem to be on our same page. We’re tired of the contentiousness, have no time for it. We may feel like letting the morons be morons but not allow them to rain on our parade.
This is a week when we might choose to explore new interests and develop new projects. Our creative juices can be flowing, and we could be trying out different venues in which to express our passions.
We do have to be wary that we don’t bite off more than we can chew. We might need some time to catch our breath, take a breather and have some quiet, quality time with a special someone. Relationships may be exciting, enlivening and with the possibility of being in the right place at the right time for serendipity to be in play. We aren’t interested in confronting or being adversarial. We are far more intrigued by the magic and mini-miracles that seem to be occurring.
The weekend is a good time to participate in fun activities or observe entertaining events. We do need to keep track of our expenses, since there is the liability of our getting caught up in the excitement of the moment and consequently not taking into account the costs involved.
We end the weekend cleaning up and clearing out to provide space for our springtime involvements and exciting new trajectories.
Monday, March 27th – Encouraged to be on Center Stage – Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. Monday starts this week with the Gemini Moon with the Moon early today sextile both Mercury and Jupiter both in Aries, and the Moon square Neptune late in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost nine hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer Tuesday morning. Monday and Tuesday are two days when we might be feeling at the top of our game. Certainly, we are likely to be confident, optimistic, and enthusiastic in anything and everything that catches our fancy. We want to put our individual mark upon our involvement, express our creative talents and feel greatly appreciated by those people we encounter today. Although we may believe that we can take on the world and gain success in whatever we choose to engage, we do have to be careful not to take on too much, dissipate our energy on mindless distractions, or do things in a slipshod manner just to get them completed. Monday and Tuesday give us a head of steam to get going and a feeling of invincibility. Is arrogance and narcissism creeping in on these two days? It may be, so we’ll need to temper our exuberance and any idea that what we want is what we’ll get. Let’s enjoy our springtime thrust of energy but not lose sight of our intended destination, itinerary, or practical means to accomplish our goals.
Tuesday, March 28th – King of the Castle – Mars, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Jupiter. Tuesday has the Moon move into Cancer where early today the Cancer Moon conjuncts Mars and the Moon trines Saturn. Late in the day, the Moon squares the Sun. Mercury conjuncts Jupiter. Similar to yesterday’s energy configurations, we may feel in full drive mode today and looking to put our mark on our world. As opposed to yesterday when we might have ventured forward without accounting for the possible consequences of our actions but rather going full force into the day, this Tuesday offers a more grounded approach to our involvements. We still have the push to do things our way, but today we are better able to scout out both the best practices approach and consider the consequences, even unintended consequences, of our actions. Instead of fast out of the starting gate like yesterday, today allows us to devise a strategy and time management skills to be more effective with less expenditure of energy. Both Monday and Tuesday can be highly productive days, days when we can advance our greatest ambitions. We just need to moderate any feeling of self-importance and continue to be mindful and aware of the conditions and circumstance in which we find ourselves. Late in the day, our responsibilities around our home or family might demand our attention.
Wednesday, March 29th – Humility Brings Results – Venus, Uranus, Jupiter. Wednesday continues with the Cancer Moon with the Moon today sextile both Venus and Uranus both in Taurus, and the Moon square Jupiter. Monday and Tuesday had an emphasis on Mercury and Jupiter. Today and tomorrow shift the focus to Venus and Uranus. Serendipity is in the air with especially fascinating encounters and exciting opportunities of which we were not aware. Monday and Tuesday could have had us a little full of ourselves, doing what we wanted and assuming everything would fit neatly into place. Wednesday and Thursday suggest we keep out of our own way, be open to the magic of these times, and be willing to receive unexpected developments that might be far better than anything we could have conceived. This is a day for us to have our antennae up and be welcoming to surprising situations arising. Letting go of outmoded items and laborious ways that no longer work for us opens the door to streamlining our operations, being far more effective and with an understanding that the universe is working in our favor, if only we would be co-creators with the natural unfolding rather than trying to force things to our will. We could be surprised by how effortless life can be by being in the flow and working with the energies. We are living during tumultuous, disruptive times, but we may be able to ride the wave by being astute and adaptable. We do not have to be body slammed by the crash of the waves and wind up down in the trough. We just need to maintain balance on the crest, be flexible with the changes, and prove successful with a little help from the universal unfolding.
Thursday, Mach 30th – Nothing Can Be Finer – Mercury, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus. Thursday has the Cancer Moon square Mercury, and the Moon trine Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost nine hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Cancer without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Leo late in the day. The Leo Moon opposes Pluto. Mars trines Saturn, and Venus conjuncts Uranus. Wednesday and Thursday can be especially pleasant days if we don’t mess them up by being controlling or oblivious to the clues along the way. Both days allow us to be in the right place at the right time and privy to some interesting surprises. The more that we can be open and attentive to the signals being shown us, the more we can take advantage of things working out in our favor. Relationships can be close to idyllic as we discover facets of people whom we know but hardly knew. More may be revealed today, and the revelations would provide an impetus both to straighten things up and to delve deeper into our interpersonal connections. We may look to establish a format, put down solid foundation stones, all with the intention of developing a base from which to operate and would allow us to initiate or expand some of our springtime projects. We may be looking at getting our life together — on a professional and on a personal level. Whoever said we can’t have it all? We can, even though the ‘all’ may not be what we imagined it to be. Let’s not try to force things to our will, to the way that we want them to be, when things could be far better than what we conceived them to be. With the universe being by our side, nothing can be finer.
Friday, March 31st – Good-time Charlie – Sun. Friday has the Leo Moon trine the Sun. Whatever we have scheduled for this Friday, it should probably have fun as an integral part of the day. There is not the same high energy day that we might have experienced this week or over the coming weekend. On the contrary, we are all in to kick back, relax and concentrate on having a good time. If we can start the weekend early, why not? California is considering legislating a four-day work week, although when we were living in California over ten years ago, it seemed as though the four-day workweek was already in vogue with Friday part of a three-day weekend. What starts in California often sweeps across the nation. This Friday might have us enlisting the idea of a tradition-breaking three-day weekend with us geared towards putting aside our responsibilities and obligations and putting out the sign ‘gone fishing’. Let’s enjoy this day with the idea of starting our weekend early [early traditionally, perhaps not so much in the future]. This Friday seems geared for a ‘mental health’ day, so let’s not feel overly obligated to do more than recharge and reinvigorate today. Perhaps we can use some of this day to reflect on this passing week with the strong emphasis of Venus Uranus the past two days with its serendipity and unexpected developments, or the first two days of this week with the emphasis on Mercury Jupiter with our confidence and boundless enthusiasm. Today for each of us may be a day to be a good-time Charlie.
Saturday, April 1st – No Playing the Fool – Uranus, Venus, Jupiter. Saturday continues with the Leo Moon with the Moon today square both Uranus and Venus both in Taurus, and the Moon trine Jupiter. Inflation continues to run rampant in society. No matter what they say about inflation being contained, frequent shopping trips for basic necessities reveal constant evidence of rising costs either in terms of price increases or shrinkflation, whereby the price stays the same, but the package contents have become smaller. Friday and Saturday are likely our two most fun days of this week. We may be planning to have a good time on this Saturday, but it would be wise for us to have our eyes wide open regarding the likely expenses. If we just go for the good time without considering what it’s going to cost us, we could be in for an unpleasant surprise. Being aware of the expenses and budgeting our monies for our good times would then allow us to go out, enjoy ourselves, and recognize that ‘if we dance to the music, we have to pay to the piper’. This can be a fun day, but we just need to be aware and prepared for any unpleasant surprises. Unexpected incidents early in the day might put a dent in what we intend to do, but any required alterations could turn out to be even more enjoyable than what we had planned. Let’s keep in mind that the universe has a peculiar sense of humor.
Sunday, April 2nd – Back to Basics – Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Mars. The early morning hours of Sunday has the Leo Moon trine Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo where today the Virgo Moon opposes Saturn and the Moon sextiles Mars. Outstanding matters or home projects might demand our attention today. If we had put our responsibilities aside over the past two days, we could find them calling today. We may prefer continuing our good times, but we could discover that there’s no postponing any longer matters that require our attention. If we avoid whining and groaning about our tasks and just do them, we can do a great deal of tidying, straightening up, and providing a more comfortable space in which to relax and reinvigorate and entertain friends and family. Traditionally, Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, but in our increasingly secularized world traditional has gone out the window. This Sunday may be less a day of rest and instead a day of attending to our obligations.
