The astrology for this week of September 26th through the 2nd of October of 2022 can have us operating at our optimum if we stay open to input and suggestions and not just forge ahead without considering options and alternatives.
The first half of this week could be highly productive, a time when we might accomplish a great deal. This is the last week of the Mercury retrograde and a good time for us to review, re-evaluate and rework matters that we may have believed resolved but upon further scrutiny reveal significant particulars neglected or missing.
The second half of the week could have us stumbling and stubbing our toes. The nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square is re-engaged on Thursday, also the day that Venus enters its own Sign of Libra.
An early weekend start could be pleasant with us stretching our wings in whatever ways we might choose to do. More may not be enough, but we do have to watch that we don’t overdo, put too much on our plate, and wind up racing around but without much clarity in our direction or success in our pursuits.
The weekend closes with Mercury ending its three-week retrograde cycle and turning direct. We can get a ‘hallelujah’ as Mercury finishes what seemed for many a particularly challenging Mercury retrograde. Although Mercury turns direct on Sunday, let’s keep in mind that things get especially squirrely when Mercury changes direction. Let’s slow things down and accept our role as co-creators with the universe unfolding rather than trying to push ahead assertively from our willfulness.
Monday, September 26th – All Together Now – Lunar Grand Trine, Mars, Saturn, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, Sun, Jupiter. Monday starts this week with us in fine fettle. The day begins with Venus trine Pluto. As the day unfolds, Mercury conjuncts Venus, followed by the Sun opposed Jupiter. Late in the day, the Libra Moon triggers an Air Grand Trine with the Libra Moon trine Mars in Gemini and the Moon trine Saturn in Aquarius. This is a day for us to accomplish a great deal. It is wise to remember that we are under the auspices by Sign of both an Earth Grand Trine and an Air Grand Trine, both of which are nudged today. The day begins with us fully capable of dealing with our responsibilities and doing so in an appealing manner. We can take care of routine matters and also move forward with our long-term ambitions. While they say that ‘the devil is in the details’, this Monday allows us to take care of the specifics and particulars and not allow anything to fall between the cracks. We might have nose to grindstone for much of this day with or without assistance, but the evening hours opens the door to thoughts about future prospects and conversations with that special person or people that could encourage our wildest dreams, our hopes and our wishes.
Tuesday, September 27th – Effective Until – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury. The possible productivity of yesterday continues during the morning hours of this Tuesday. Yesterday, we had Venus trine Pluto, and today we have Mercury trine Pluto. The Moon finishes its transit of Libra with the Libra Moon square Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio later in the day. The Scorpio Moon makes no aspects to the planets today or tomorrow. With the trines to Pluto today and yesterday, we are able to prioritize our involvements and virtually move mountains thanks to our determination and our persistence. Unfortunately, our effectiveness can hit a wall from either our hearing something or someone negatively impacting our efforts. Suddenly, we might feel that we are facing obstacles that dampen our confidence and are even liable to bring our movement to a screeching halt. As long as we used Monday and much of Tuesday to move assertively ahead, take care of the details, and address what needs to be done more so than engaging pipedreams, then we can see both Monday and Tuesday as highly successful. Tomorrow may have us taking our foot off the gas and considering what we have done and where we are going.
Wednesday, September 28th – From Brawn to Brain – Mars, Saturn. Wednesday continues with the Scorpio Moon, but the Scorpio Moon yesterday and today makes no connections to the planets. We have to wait until tomorrow for the Scorpio Moon to engage the planets. Although there may not seem to be a great deal of energy to get things done today, Monday and early Tuesday could have had us in overdrive. Not that there are not energy configurations today. The Mars Saturn trine, which was kicked off by the Lunar Grand Trine late on Monday, is exact today. From any strenuous efforts made the past two days, this Wednesday gives us the time and the inclination to both consider our accomplishments and also entertain our options and alternatives. It is often wise for us to look up and evaluate what we have done and what we are doing and where we are going, and this Wednesday is likely one of those days. Discussions with other people might provide a different viewpoint and an objective perspective to our endeavors. Perhaps someone can suggest ways by which we can work smarter rather than harder. It would be a good idea to slow things down on this Wednesday, for tomorrow can have us back up at it with our efforts tomorrow almost Sisyphus-like as we try to move things ahead while delays and frustrations roll things back on us.
Thursday, September 29th – Challenges before Resolutions – Lunar T-Square, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Libra. Ever Since the Moon entered Scorpio late on Tuesday, the Moon has made no connections to the planets, until this Thursday. And today the Moon makes up for its lack of planetary connections with a wealth of aspects to the planets. The early morning hours have our nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square re-engaged as the Scorpio Moon triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Scorpio Moon opposed Uranus and the Moon square Saturn. Once we get through this quagmire, the Scorpio Moon trines Neptune, the Moon sextiles Mercury in Virgo, and the Moon sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius early on Friday morning. Venus exits Virgo to enter its own Sign of Libra [3:49 AM EDT]. Curveballs and delays could upset our applecart, or our sleep state, early on this Thursday. Unexpected situations and past matters might demand our attention and prevent us from accelerating forward. Once we get through any early morning screwups, we can be expeditious in completing various matters. We may feel guided as to what to be rid of and what to prioritize. Despite any issues that trip us up in the early morning, the rest of this day is primed for clearing up outstanding matters. We are more interested in contractions by tying up loose ends so that we can take advantage of the next two days for spreading our wings and enjoying ourselves.
Friday, September 30th – Up, Up and Away – Venus, Jupiter, Sun. Friday has the Moon moving into Sagittarius where today the Moon sextiles Venus, the Moon trines Jupiter, and the Moon sextiles the Sun. The past two days may have had us in a more reserved and less social disposition. Like an accordion, yesterday’s contraction of cleaning up various matters shifts today to a more expansionary attitude. Whether we get out of town or engage flights of fancy at home, we are likely to feel far more enthusiastic, exuberant and looking at the good things in our life. Hopefully, we accomplished many of our tasks yesterday, have more of a clean plate, and have the opportunity to use this Friday as a day to broaden our reach, engage friends, and truly enjoy ourselves. Although this can be a primo day for good times and fun events, we do have to be wary that we don’t overextend ourselves and take on too many involvements. This day calls for ‘moderation in all things’, a suggestion liable to fall on deaf ears, for our tendency today may be to take on anything and everything. It would be wise for us to keep a rein on our optimism and not overdo.
Saturday, October 1st – Metronome Swing – Saturn, Lunar Grand Cross, Mars, Neptune, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Jupiter. Saturday has the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today sextile Saturn and the Moon triggering a Grand Cross in the Mutable Signs as the Moon opposes Mars in Gemini, the Moon squares Neptune in Pisces, and the Moon squares Mercury in Virgo. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost ten hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn on Sunday. Venus opposes Jupiter. Friday could have had us feeling like we were in seventh heaven. Everything may have seemed to go right, nothing gone wrong. This Saturday calls for, more likely demands, that we have our plans in order before we start out on our day. It would be wise for us to make an itinerary for our Saturday with detailed directions. Without clear intent for the day in mind, the exuberance of yesterday could turn into a case of running around today. Did we take on too much yesterday? Do we have too many errands to address today? Are we allowing arrogance to get in our way where we feel we can easily do it all? Life is about cycles. Similar to the ocean’s waves, there are times when we are riding the crests, other times when we are body slammed and down in the trough. Yesterday might have had us riding the crests with few concerns in mind, just having a good old time. This Saturday can be like a body slam, where things have gotten away from us and we are trying to catch up with what we had initiated. This is a day for us not to get caught up in the frenzy of these times, but to slow things down, take things step by step and stay focused. A tall order, especially when we have the two ‘good guys’ of the planetary realm, Venus and Jupiter, doing a tug-of-war between our personal interests and the interests of someone else. We are also on the last day of the Mercury retrograde, which means that things can get squirrely. We could find ourselves in the midst of a Keystone Kops routine.
Sunday – October 2nd – Pick up the Pieces – Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Venus, Sun, Mercury direct. Sunday has the Moon moving into Capricorn where today the Capricorn Moon triggers a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Capricorn Moon square Jupiter in Aries, and the Moon square both Venus and the Sun both in Libra. Mercury ends its three-week retrograde cycle and turns direct [5:07 AM EDT]. Sunday has our responsibilities catching up with us. In addition, someone’s concerns could be placed in our lap. Although we are highly capable, we have to watch that we don’t get bowled over by all that we have to do today. Yesterday might have allowed our confidence and arrogance to get the better of us. If we took on too much, made promises we can’t keep, and put more on our plate than humanly possible to achieve, then today could have us ‘paying to the piper’. Commitments made can have us attending to various matters but possibly not well-involved. While we can all welcome the end of this Mercury retrograde, which may have proved quite a doozy for many of us, whenever Mercury turns direction, things get especially squirrely. Things may not right themselves today, so let’s appreciate that our involvements today may be one of picking up the pieces, but there is the liability that we are not necessarily putting the right pieces in the right place. It would be best for us to lower our expectations of successful results today and just recognize that Mercury retrograde turning direct needs time to get the rhythm and pace right.
