The astrology for this week of September 13th through the 19th of 2021 can have us dithering about, going one way then another and without any clear destination.
Let’s keep in mind that we are coming off a week of maudlin sentimentality where the emotions of loss, grieving and mourning were ratcheted up severalfold. Commemorations of 9-11 punctuated by the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco with its deadly consequences have been ringing in our ears and assaulting our eyes over the recent weeks.
We might feel like a ‘chicken with its head cut off’ at the beginning of the week. Possibilities may seem vast, but our ability to accomplish them, much less anything, could be wanting. We are liable to easily fall into victim mode with a sense that our actions and decisions are determined more by external forces than by our own personal choice.
As the week progresses, we could also actually grow a pair and take on a more proactive approach, and that despite the Sign change of Mars moving from Virgo into Libra, a Sign of Detriment for Mars where the fiery, assertive energy of Mars becomes muted to conciliation and accommodation.
The latter part of the week could have us prioritizing our activities and also drawing upon an inner strength for us to determine what we consider to be quality of life, quality of living.
This power of essence may be muted before the weekend as we encounter our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square, but we are also likely to be too familiar with the impediments, the false narrative, and ‘the emperor with no clothes’ for us to be thwarted in our actions.
The weekend can be highly pleasant with us seeking an escape from the ‘newspeak’ and the constant bombardment of negative stimuli. We may enjoy the company of other people stepping away from the constant harangues, and we can reenergize ourselves by getting off the track and reengaging nature’s rhythms and its perfections rather than being immersed in humankind’s staccato, frenetic energy.
Monday, September 13th – Here, There, or Anywhere – Mercury, Jupiter, Lunar T-Square, Sun, Neptune. Monday begins the week with the Sagittarius Moon sextile Mercury. We may feel upbeat and inspired to look to our future. We may wish to be proactive, take machete in hand and carve our own path. The question of where and how might arise as the Moon triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Sagittarius Moon square the Sun in Virgo and the Moon square Neptune in Pisces. While we can assume that we have the capability of moving forward, we could also question our direction and whether liable impediments would forestall our successful advance. Our nerves may be fraught with anxiety and concern, and we could find ourselves back into victim mode, wringing our hands and wondering what next might befall us in any actions we take. Let’s not wind up spinning our wheels or exhausting ourselves with worst case scenarios. Let’s keep in mind that every journey begins with a first step. We just have to take that first step. The evening hours may be far more pleasant as the Moon trines Jupiter. Conversations with someone can be encouraging and supportive. The start and end of the day are far more positive in attitude and tone. It’s between the two that our nerves can be frayed as we consider various options without knowing which way to go and with a liability of looking at all the negative liabilities rather than appreciating the truth to the statement that ‘we never get more than we can handle.’
Tuesday, September 14th – Nothing Quite Right – Mars, Venus, Sun, Neptune, Mars Libra. Tuesday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today square Mars. The Moon then enters Capricorn where today the Moon sextiles Venus. The Sun opposes Neptune, and Mars exits Virgo to enter Libra [8:14 PM EDT], a Sign of Detriment for Mars where Mars is not comfortable. Similar to yesterday, we may feel out of sorts. We have to be wary that our efforts are not half-hearted today with a liability of our subconsciously projecting personal failure. We could perceive a certain weakness in ourselves, a focus on our flaws and frailties. Why go there? Certainly, we have been constantly bullied by the prevailing negative enforcing compliance to the edicts handed down. We may feel beaten down to the point where we are willing to throw up our hands in the air, cry out ‘uncle’, capitulate and engage the victim mode. It seems as though the psychic vampires have been out in full force draining our essence, stealing our soul. Although we might not be operating on all eight cylinders, it would be wise for us to focus on what is right in front of us, take care of our personal needs, and not get caught up in what appears to be going on out in the world-at-large. If we take care of the details today, the larger issues will take care of themselves. The movement of Mars into Libra may have us more accommodating to someone’s needs, but we have to be wary that we’re not weakening our own self-affirmation. We definitely have a number of arrogant narcissists running around, but we don’t have to go to the other extreme of rolling over and giving up our self-determination, our choices, and our own self-fulfillment.
Wednesday, September 15th – Innovative Means – Uranus, Mercury, Neptune. The Capricorn Moon today trines Uranus, the Moon squares Mercury, and the Moon sextiles Neptune. The Capricorn Moon triggers an Earth Grand Trine with the Moon trine Uranus in Taurus today, and the Moon trine the Sun in Virgo tomorrow. This Wednesday and Thursday could be the most productive days of this week. We are able to think outside the box, utilize time management skills, and draw upon innovative means to accomplish a great amount. We have to trust our instincts and believe both in our self and in our being guided by sudden revelations and startling insights. We may have some naysayers who want us to prove our methodology or explain how and what we are doing. Let us make them aware of the truth to the idiom ‘the proof is in the pudding’. If we stay true to our understandings and proceed ahead, always checking and reevaluating, these two days are highly productive with us operating at our optimum. No distractions or mindless suggestions are needed today, so it might be wise for us to put on blinders and focus on what we wish to accomplish.
Thursday, September 16th – Proper Planning – Sun, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. Wednesday and Thursday of this week are primo days to attend to our tasks, deal with our obligations, and take care of business. Thursday continues with the Capricorn Moon and an Earth Grand Trine with the Moon having been trine to Uranus in Taurus yesterday and with the Moon trine the Sun in Virgo today. The Moon conjuncts Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost ten hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon moves into Aquarius where today the Moon trines Mars. The Sun trines Pluto. With proper planning and attention to detail, we can virtually move mountains today and do so in practical reality, not merely virtual space. With the Full Moon on this coming Monday and the impending Mercury retrograde starting on the 27th, this Wednesday and Thursday are two days where we can keep our head down, concentrate on what we wish to resolve prior to the three-week Mercury retrograde and be highly successful with our outcomes. Our determination and perseverance might be indefatigable so let’s use these two days to check off a number of items on our ‘to do’ list. Drawing upon a trusted sounding board today can help us fine tune, tweak and smooth out any edges regarding our projects.
Friday, September 17th – Once Again a Snag – Lunar T-Square, Venus, Saturn, Uranus. Friday can have the air come out of our tires. After two days when we could have been smoothly running along at a good clip and highly productive and remarkably effective, Friday may have us hitting a snag. The Aquarius Moon triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square engaging our year’s nemesis of the Saturn Uranus square. The Aquarius Moon conjuncts Saturn, the Moon squares Venus in Scorpio, and the Moon squares Uranus in Taurus. Venus squares Saturn. Let’s be careful with our finances. Expenses might be more than we budgeted or bargained for. Our focus may be on future plans but without having enough information or even the appreciation of unexpected situations arising during these times of paradigm shift. We need to recognize that whatever worked in the past for us may no longer be constructive. Pulls between old and new can have us in a tug-of-war of what and how we wish to proceed. Let’s avoid rush to judgments. It might be best to wait for another day instead of making important decisions or significant investments. Our scheduled intentions may go awry so let’s have contingency plans in mind in case we need to alter our actions. Delays and frustrations are liable, and this is a day when we just might have to ‘grin and bear it’.
Saturday, September 18th – Good Friends, Good Times – Mercury, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. After yesterday’s Fixed Sign T-Square, which may have been challenging or presented obstacles to our forward movement and to successful actions, Saturday gives us a pleasant respite and a good time to get together with good friends for good times. The Aquarius Moon trines Mercury and the Moon conjuncts Jupiter. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for eleven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon moves into Pisces later in the afternoon. If we had upsets with other people yesterday, we might realize that some of our irritability was based more on the conditions and circumstances we were facing rather than with anyone in particular. This Saturday allows us to make necessary amends and allows us to enjoy the company of other people. If we can take this day to have a good time and participate in fun events, we could find ourselves reinvigorated, reenergized and looking at the sunny side of our life.
Sunday, September 19th – Comforts of Home – Venus, Uranus. The Pisces Moon trines Venus and the Moon sextiles Uranus on this Sunday. This is a day for us to kick back, take our time and not feel pressured to do anything. Unexpected developments can provide a nice affirmation that ‘life is good’. We are unlikely to feel pressured or pulled to do this or that. On the contrary, this Sunday is a relatively quiet day when we can attend to things around our home, enjoy the comforts of home, and have a blank slate that we might fill with spontaneous involvements. The less commitments we have today, the more we can take advantage of the magic and miracles of this paradigm shift from linear, sequential reality into asequential reality with its kaleidoscope of random, disconnected events. While much of our attention has been focused on the negative circumstances that we all have endured, this is a day when we can see the glimmers of light, evidence of goodness and reaffirming assertions that things do work out. Let’s enjoy the perfection of nature and the idyllic in our doing life. Being open to the wonders, we may also receive indications of the many blessings that we have in our life.
