The astrology for this week of March 8th through the 14th of 2021 may stir feelings of ‘Spring fever’ as we tune out the restrictions imposed upon us and look forward to the rebirth that the approaching Spring promises.
The week begins with us willing to employ our due diligence as we address our responsibilities in an effective and intuitive manner. By being still while in the midst of the furies of these times, we could determine the most expeditious means to deal with what needs to get done.
As the week unfolds, our sights might steer more to the distant horizons of ‘what could be’ rather than ’what is’. Our foresight combined with practical application can help us achieve great results, but it would be wise for us not to forego our present obligations for the ideals of our future.
This can be a highly emotional week culminating with the Pisces New Moon on Saturday, a New Moon also impacted by a Venus Neptune conjunction where our compassion and desire for an idyllic soulful connection could give the next two weeks a most mystical, even magical, impression.
We might be traipsing through the land of possibilities, but it would be wise for us to maintain our feet on the ground and appreciate that not everything, or everyone, are as they seem. We have to be wary of the trickster, things appearing one way but the reality being totally different. Let’s remember to judge situations by checking the source and checking their agenda.
We don’t have to be jaded this week, but neither do we have to play the martyr or victim. Let’s envision the world we want to see and begin to create it in our own individual, personal spheres.
Monday, March 8th – Getting Down to Business – Sun, Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. The week begins with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today sextile both the Sun and Neptune both in Pisces and the Moon conjunct Pluto. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost seven hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Aquarius early Tuesday morning. This Monday can be one of the more productive days of this week. If we would take the time to consider our itinerary for the day and draw upon time management skills, we could accomplish many of our mundane tasks and bring completion to various matters. Although we could easily fall prey to a perfectionist strain, questioning whether we are doing things the right way, this is a day for us not to second guess ourselves but rather for us to have a plan for action and then implement it. Even if we are feeling highly emotional, it would be far better for us to keep our head down, check off items on our ‘to do’ list, and not be distracted either by mood swings or fascinating diversions. This Monday is a time when we can get things done.
Tuesday, March 9th – Beware of Spinning Wheels – Mars, Uranus, Saturn. Tuesday has the Moon entering Aquarius where today the Moon sextiles Mars, the Moon squares Uranus, and the Moon conjuncts Saturn. We can easily become enamored by the wide range of possibilities that we consider today. Nothing may seem off the table, everything a realistic involvement. Our focus today might be more geared to future realizations without considering how best to get from concept to manifestation. If we launch off today with good intentions and without taking into account the necessary steps along the way, we could find ourselves spinning our wheels and getting nowhere except in a muddle. Although we cannot always determine unexpected variables that might crop up as we move forward with our actions, this day does call for, even demands, that we have clarity in regard to our direction and our intended destination. Otherwise, we might be flummoxed by the twists and turns along the way. Let’s keep in mind the wise saying that ‘the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.’ That could be our outcome today if we don’t plan out our day, maintain awareness and be mindful of the shifting currents, even keeping on the lookout for unexpected incidents that might derail us or ramp up the costs in time, energy, or monies along the way. We could expend a great deal of energy today, but without applying brakes and re-evaluating as we go along, we may wind up like a dog chasing its tail, going around in circles. Proper planning before starting our day would prevent unnecessary frustrations and exhaustions.
Wednesday, March 10th – Nothing could be Better – Jupiter, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Neptune. Wednesday has the Aquarius Moon conjunct both Jupiter and Mercury. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over eleven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces tomorrow. The Sun conjuncts Neptune. Wednesday can have us feeling at the top of our game. Nothing is liable to get us down, for everything may seem bright and shiny. Optimism seems contagious with everybody’s spirits lifted and a sense of better days ahead. Spring is coming and we are likely to feel the ‘fever’. And with vaccines being distributed and dispensed, we might sense that a magic wand has alleviated anxiety and allowed for a reopening of society with the opportunity of our getting back to our lives. Wednesday through Saturday and beyond begin a journey of us liable to be traipsing through la-la-land. Our focus could be more on the future with little concern for our present. It may seem as though we have crossed the threshold into a different dimension, a realm where virtual reality is highly pleasant, even idyllic, but a realm disengaged from present true reality. Ever more so, we can see how appearances, presentations, even hype, determine our attitude. Nothing could be better.
Thursday, March 11th – Hyper Drive – Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. We start Thursday with the Moon Void-of-Course as the Moon completes its transit of Aquarius without making any connections to the planets. The Moon then enters Pisces where late today the Moon squares Mars. While our emotions are heightened, we might feel that we can take on anything and everything. Wednesday through Saturday and beyond could be problematic if we let our moods run us. We can go through various whipsaws of feeling invincible with anything attainable to feeling vulnerable and anxious, as if waiting for some other shoe to drop. Let’s keep in mind that if we fly too close to the sun, we are liable to get burned. Now through the end of the month suggest that we take things with a grain of salt, do our due diligence, and pull back the curtain to the wizard of oz screen to see what is truly going on. We could easily be attracted and seduced by images and appealing presentations. What we see may not be what we get, but we could be so caught up in the frenzy of these times that we jump at things and jump to conclusions with very little information, subject only to the appeal to our senses and to our emotions. This is a day for us to slow things down and avoid immediate responses or knee-jerk reactions. It’s all well and good for us to step off into la-la-land of make believe, but we have to be wary that our journey to the magical kingdom doesn’t turn into a house of horrors.
Friday, March 12th – Things Could be so Easy – Uranus, Venus. Friday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Moon today sextile Uranus to begin the day, and the Moon conjunct Venus to close out the day. We are on the dark side of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon, so this day might be better served for completions rather than initiations. We are feeling the Pisces Stellium with Pisces being the last Sign of the Zodiac. And we are a week away from the astrological new year at the Vernal Equinox when the Sun exits Pisces and enters Aries to begin a new annual cycle. Before we get there, we have this Friday, a day when things can unfold naturally and easily just as long as we don’t force them. Although this year has the Saturn Aquarius square Uranus Taurus with its tug-of-war between old and new, between an old mindset of us controlling situations to make things happen and our being open to the asequential reality where things may happen in the most inexplicable ways; this Friday allows us to see the interesting twists and turns of the universal unfolding giving us faith in the workings of the universe and faith that life truly is good. This is a day for us to be receptive to the unexpected, for we might bear witness to those mini-miracles where surprising developments occur by our just being in the right place at the right time. The evening hours can be highly pleasant for social get-togethers or for quality time with a special someone. These recent days are geared to our being receptive to the magic of living.
Saturday, March 13th – Extra Ordinary, Other Worldly – Neptune, Pisces New Moon, Sun, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus. Saturday has the Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune, the Moon conjunct the Sun at the Pisces New Moon [5:21 AM EST], and the Moon sextile Pluto before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries later in the day. Venus conjuncts Neptune. This New Moon signature is a power pack in the third decanate of Pisces [the Scorpio decanate]. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and Neptune is in its own Sign of Pisces. We have seven of the planets in the two universal Signs, Aquarius and Pisces, with a Stellium of three or more planets in each of these two Signs. The New Moon signature impacts the next two weeks up to the Libra Full Moon on the 28th. This day and the next two weeks might prove incredibly powerful with windows open to dimensions beyond our usual consciousness and awareness. This period can be a highly soulful time with some of our connections with other people being karmic interludes, a sense of being with people whom we have encountered and experienced in other times, different realities. The veil between dimensions can be a great deal thinner now. The more we can approach this period as a time to be receptive and non-judgmental, and engage the awe and wonder of childhood, we could make ourselves open to some of the wonders of this world and of the cosmos. This New Moon configuration saddles the end of one annual astrological cycle and the beginning of a new astrological annual cycle. Let’s clear out the stables of our lives, eliminate the outmoded, release ourselves from preconceived beliefs and our conditioning, and be open to the magic of these times, the asequential reality of the paradigm shift we are experiencing.
Sunday, March 14th – the Time is Now – Mars, Saturn. The Aries Moon on this Sunday sextiles Mars in Gemini and later the Moon sextiles Saturn in Aquarius. For many in the US, today is the start of daylight savings time, a day when we spring forward, and the days seem longer with the sun setting later in the day both by reason of forwarding our clocks and the increase of sunlight as we move towards the Summer Solstice, the greatest day of sunlight in the northern latitudes. We may be interested in starting any number of new projects today. Putting our individual mark on our activities would seem important. We do have to be wary that while we might start any number of new involvements today, our follow through could prove lacking. Later in the day, we can better filter our participations, focus on those that have purpose for our future and discard those that are merely unnecessary diversions. We have a thrust of physical energy today. It would be wise for us to be judicious in how we channel our energies and not waste our time on irrelevant matters.
