The astrology for this week of September 14th through the 20th of 2020, the last full week of the official summer season, can be a highly productive week if we harness the energies, restrain our impulses to be outlandish, and not get too far ahead of ourselves.
The week begins with us looking to put our individual mark upon our activities. We are likely feeling upbeat, inspired both by our future goals and our ability to get things done. We may feel as though we are invincible, able to handle anything that comes our way, and to a large degree we are. They say that ‘adversity builds character’ and for each of us, each in our own way, we have dealt with various adversities during these tumultuous times and have come out from under, perhaps sullied but not undone.
We could be enamored with our own abilities, a little narcissistic, and willing to give our self a treat with no expense spared. Enjoying the early part of the week, we might find our vitality recharged and ready to get down to business.
The mid-week period allows us to be highly productive. We are dealing with the Earth Grand Trine that provides us with an ease of manifestation when things can fit neatly together. A little bit of elbow grease and thinking outside the box to utilize a best practices approach may make things proceed easily and quickly.
The first half of the week has us with the waning Moon prior to Thursday’s New Moon. Thursday’s New Moon opens a two-week period of potentially great accomplishments. We do have to be wary of other people’s input, for they could encourage us to stretch beyond reasonable parameters. Any overconfidence or trying to do too much might create havoc to our plans and even negatively impact our relationships.
The weekend may be a mixed bag. Interactions with other people could blow hot and cold, and we might decide to slink off into our own quiet space, lick our wounds, and seek solace away from the madding crowd. But we might be better aligned with our spiritual self as we close out the week.
Monday, September 14th – Confident and Capable – Venus, Uranus, Mercury, Sun, Pluto. Monday begins the week with the Leo Moon with the Moon today conjunct Venus, the Moon square Uranus, and the Moon sextile Mercury. The Sun trines Pluto. We can be indomitable today, but we need to avoid getting sidetracked either by our narcissism or by our cutting corners. Drawing upon a trusted confidante’s advice might help us focus and could encourage us to push forward with right action and on the right track. Once we get going on this Monday, there may be no stopping us. Proper planning and strategic means would keep us from second guessing ourselves or stopping and starting to question whether we are being effective and are moving in the appropriate direction. This is a day for us to contemplate before heading out and then to move forcefully ahead. Let’s keep in mind that we are operating with an Earth Grand Trine, an energy that speaks to effective manifestation. We shall have this influence into the early autumn season before it drops away, so let’s make use of the greased wheels to accomplish what we can.
Tuesday, September 15th – Stumbling – Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Uranus. Tuesday begins with the Leo Moon with the Moon trine Mars. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for three and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo. Venus squares Uranus. We could be gung-ho as we start this Tuesday. While confidence and enthusiasm are admirable, we might be a little over the top in expressing our optimism, which can cause us problems. This is a day when we need to maintain awareness and be mindful of the circumstances that surround us. We may go headlong into situations and in the process either overdo or step on someone’s toes. Impetuous actions could bring our efforts to naught. Any issues with someone would need to be resolved quickly and collaboratively, for otherwise they might fester and cause significant problems in our relationships over the coming weekend. We are able to do what we want to do, but it is important for us to keep track of how our actions are impacting other people and whether we are proceeding correctly and expeditiously in what we intend to do. It would be wise for us to evaluate and re-evaluate our decisions and actions as we go along.
Wednesday, September 16th – Getting In Gear – Lunar Grand Trine, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune. Wednesday has us on the dark side of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s New Moon. The Virgo Moon today triggers the Earth Grand Trine as the Virgo Moon trines Uranus in Taurus, and the Moon trines Jupiter in Capricorn. The Moon opposes Neptune. This is a day when we can blend nicely the visionary and practical and accomplish a great deal. It might be better for us to stay in the planning stages rather than implementation. Things are better started under a waxing Moon rather than the waning Moon. Things can truly come together for us as we draw upon innovative means to devise a best practices strategy. While we are focused on the big picture, we are also fully aware of the particulars so that nothing is liable to fall between the cracks. We can draw upon streamlined methodology in order to work smarter rather than harder. This is a good day for us to line our ducks up in a row, get in gear and be ready to pull the trigger any time from tomorrow’s New Moon through much of the following two weeks. It is always suggested never to ‘rush the river’, and we might wish to initiate new projects today, but it would be far wiser for us to ride the wave tomorrow than impose our own desires upon today.
Thursday, September 17th – Pluto, Virgo New Moon, Sun, Saturn, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Jupiter. Thursday has the Virgo New Moon with the Moon conjunct the Sun. The Moon trines both Pluto and Saturn both in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra. Mercury squares Jupiter, and the Sun trines Saturn. This two-week period, encompassing the end of the summer season and the official start to autumn, can be a highly effective and productive time when we can push forward with our long-term goals. We need a good template in order to be successful, and we do have to be wary of overconfidence or the encouragement from someone who might be a wonderful advocate for whatever we do but without the necessary critical analysis to truly be of help. In the runup to the US Presidential election, this New Moon favors Joe Biden more than Donald Trump. Biden may seem to make some headway, while Trump is barraged by further negative comments and accusations and faces the adversarial beginning today of the ‘lay siege to the White House’ movement. But as the saying goes: “He who laughs last, laughs best.” The Full Moon on the 1st of October could see a role reversal for the two primary political party candidates. Whatever we can accomplish today, the better, for the next three days might get squirrely.
Friday, September 18th – Me and You – Venus, Jupiter, Mercury. Friday has the Libra Moon sextile Venus, the Moon square Jupiter, and the Moon conjunct Mercury. We may choose to start the weekend early and with the justification that we have been highly accomplished the past two days. A leisurely lunch or phone conversation with someone today can spark some ideas for our future prospects. We would far prefer putting our usual tasks aside and our responsibilities on the back burner today, and just enjoy our time with someone and consider various alternatives and all sorts of possibilities. We might have been productive the past two days, and the weekend can be more daunting than relaxing. If we are able to, this Friday might be a good day for a ‘time out’, time to catch our breath, enjoy our social interactions, and just meander through the mind field of future options. We could chalk this up to a ‘mental health’ day, a time to take off the pressure, relax, recharge, even re-create. As the day progresses, everyone may be ‘talking the talk’. And why not? Idle chatter often provides interesting insights and greater understanding.
Saturday, September 19th – Too Much Pressure – Lunar T-Square, Pluto, Saturn, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday and Sunday have two Lunar T-Squares, the one today in the Cardinal Signs, the one tomorrow in the Fixed Signs. The Libra Moon today opposes Mars, and the Moon squares both Pluto and Saturn both in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio. We could be all over the place on this Saturday trying to take care of errands and responsibilities, dealing with the needs or demands of other people, and still wanting some time for ourselves to do what we want and in the manner in which we wish to do it. This Saturday can prove exhausting with us running around and possibly winding up running in circles. We may awaken with a sense of all that we have to accomplish on this Saturday, but we might also head out without fully considering how best to approach our ‘to do’ list and without employing necessary time management skills. It would be far better for us to prioritize our activities, not get sucked into the pressures from other people, and plot out our day whereby we address our obligations, take care of the pulls on us from other people, and still have ‘me’ time.
Sunday, September 20th – Stuck Until Unstuck – Lunar T-Square, Uranus, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune. Yesterday had a Lunar T-Square in Cardinal Signs. Sunday has the Lunar T-Square in the Fixed Signs with the Scorpio Moon opposed Uranus and the Moon square Venus to start off the day. We end this Sunday with the Moon sextile Jupiter, and the Moon trine Neptune. Similar to yesterday, we could be pulled in various directions today. While Saturday may have had us racing around, doing a lot but truly accomplishing little, this Sunday could have us feeling stuck and more reactive than proactive. Yesterday may have had us starting up any number of projects, Sunday liable to have us dodging the curveballs of unexpected matters and dealing either with our own arrogance or some else’s narcissism. This may be one of those days when it is best for us to withdraw into our safe space, enjoy a happy place and not be subjected to the vagaries of these times or the whipsaw emotions of other people. Later in the day, things seem so much better. It may be that a ‘time out’ allows us to change our attitude with us now able to see things in a better light prompted by our having some quiet time in order to reflect and contemplate on the larger picture without having to dodge incoming barbs. There are times when we need to step away, get off the track, and engage more fully our soul and spirit. This may be one of those days when we can gain great sustenance by reconnecting with our essence. This weekend may be rather intense, but at least we could end it on a high note.
