The astrology for this week of June 1st through the 7th of 2020 can have us reaching out to any number of people, enjoying scintillating relationships and looking to expand far beyond the four walls that have held us captive over the past few months.
We begin the week highly interested in what has been going on with other people, their experience during this pandemic lockdown, and their plans for stepping back on the track. We are interested in what changes they have gone through over this recent period, their intentions to reset their lives, and whether they are going to continue on in the old ways or if they are deciding a new trajectory for themselves.
Out of much of the discussions we have early in the week, we might do a serious inventory taking of our own life, determine what we need to be rid of in order to clear space for an expansion as we move forward.
This two-week period from the New Moon back on the 22nd of May up to this Friday’s Full Moon has been a time for us to conjure up our greatest dreams, give energy to our hopes and wishes for our future, and realize that the paradigm shift is in operation with things occurring in an asequential manner evoking a sense of the true reality of what we would term as magic and miracles. Yes, there’s intense disruption, but the disruptions are indicative of the labor pains, the growing pains, of morphing from what has been into what is becoming.
The mid-week period offers us the opportunity to clean up and clear out the dross of our lives. We have to be wary that we don’t get carried away with ourselves. We may be enthused by the blank slate of our future, but it would be wise to keep in mind that past experiences have developed expertise that we can build upon, even if we radically change our trajectory as we move ahead.
No ‘throwing baby out with the bath water’, for those things eliminated in a hasty and reckless manner might be hard to reacquire if we were to so choose.
Due diligence is necessary as we spring from our entrapments and saunter out into the world feeling free and liberated.
The Full Moon on Friday, a Lunar Eclipse, caps this two-week period of exploration and sampling, of stepping out from behind our curtain of imposed containment to reengage the world. We are in an expansionary mood. We may have had a lateral lobotomy, whacks to the side of our head over recent months, but the hiatus has also altered our mindset, perhaps even to the point of taking off our blinders and allowing us to see from peripheral vision all around, all around.
From constriction to release, we may consider all options, various alternatives, but it would be wise for us to use due diligence in considering any and all possibilities.
This may prove a wild week, and also allows fascinating clues in unexpected places on our scavenger hunt of moving forward in our journey ahead.
Monday, June 1st – Me and Thee – Sun, Venus. We start this week with the Moon in Libra with the Moon today trine both the Sun and Venus both in Gemini. Conversations and connections with other people may highlight our day. As if the past few weeks have held blinders on our perspective with us seeing things only from our own viewpoint, we are likely to reach out to other people to get their bead on what has been going on, what has been going on for them personally and what they believe has been going on with the shifting backdrop of society. Although no longer locked into our past belief systems, the release comes with a certain lack of clarity regarding what is truly going on and which way we should proceed. This is a day for expression, to express our angst over what has been and how it has affected us. But today is also a day to express our hopes and our wishes. We might feel that we are living through times of dystopia. Such an attitude is certainly ginned up by the powers-that-be, the media, and the rampant anxiety during this time of intense disruptions. We can fall prey to such attitudes, play the victim card, take on the role of Eeyores and Debbie Downers, OR we can recognize that similar to the Phoenix in Greek mythology rising from its ashes to soar ever higher that we too are able to rise from the ashes of how our life has been and ascend into a more fulfilling pathway of doing life with greater passion and determination. We may need a support system in reaching for our newly revealed goals, but our disposition is our choice — either play the victim waiting to be rescued or be our own personal savior with the intent to embrace quality in our living.
Tuesday, June 2nd – Holding On or Cleaning Out – Pluto, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Mercury, Venus, Mars. Tuesday has the Libra Moon square both Pluto and Jupiter both in Capricorn early in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio, where today the Scorpio Moon squares Saturn and the Moon trines Mercury. Venus squares Mars. Someone may place demands on us as we start this Tuesday. They may feel as though we have obligations towards them, some of which might be for us to act and react more from whom we have been rather than whom we are in process of becoming. Whenever we make significant changes, we are in a period of great vulnerability. We realize that we are no longer whom we have been, nor are we interested in recreating our past. And yet, at the same time, the new sense of our being hasn’t been fully revealed. During this interim period of past and present, we are incredibly susceptible. This is a day for us to avoid being tied to our routine matters, yet not feeling unable to achieve our future goals. We may get some mixed messages from people. Even our strongest advocates could be holding us back. It would be wise for us to avoid impulsive or extreme actions. Due diligence is required with the recognition that during this paradigm shift we are able to draw from the universal unfolding. Our journey is going to unfold generically, and in truth there are no mistakes. This is a good day for us to loosen our hold on matters that keep us from advancing without negating our past or the expertise we have gained from experience.
Wednesday, June 3rd – Our Guided Way – Uranus, Mars, Neptune, Sun, Venus. Wednesday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon opposed Uranus in the early morning hours, followed by the Moon trine Mars, and late in the day the Moon trine Neptune. The Sun conjuncts Venus. Our sleep state might be somewhat disturbed with us feeling anxious about our finances, concerned about our security. Even if we are tossing and turning with a questioning of what next curveballs might come our way, we may experience upon awakening a certain faith that we can survive, perhaps even thrive, during these disruptive times. The 12-Step programs affirm the attitude of ‘let go, let god’, and this affirmation could be our saving grace on this Wednesday. If we would believe that the universe and life are benevolent and that things unfold as they will, we can step away from the old mindset of control and the assumption that we should, or even can, control circumstances and conditions. Recent events would seem to squash any belief in our personal total control over our individual situation. We do need to let go of the victim card, feeling that we are but pawns manipulated by events with life being a slippery slope with us caroming from one disaster to the next catastrophe to yet another inexorable problem. Wise and true sayings indicate that we never get more than we can handle. By broadening our perspective and being open to the magic of these times, we could increase our faith in the natural process and can come to a greater appreciation of our guided way with an elevated appreciation that life is good.
Thursday, June 4th – Completions Before Expansions – Pluto, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn. Thursday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon today sextile both Pluto and Jupiter both in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost six hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius, where today the Sagittarius Moon sextiles Saturn. We may start this Thursday intent on concluding certain matters and tying up loose ends. We are likely to focus on clearing the decks and cleaning up various issues in order to have a blank slate to draw upon. Similar to an accordion, contraction might be our focus early in the day with expansion later in the day. By dealing with pressing demands, we can get things out of the way in order to focus our energy on our future goals and forthcoming plans. We could be highly astute as to what to pare down, get rid of and conclude. Once we deal with pressing demands, we may look to our future, our prospects, and a wide range of future possibilities.
Friday, June 5th – Too Much, Too Soon – Venus, Sagittarius Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse, Sun, Lunar T-Square, Mars, Mercury, Uranus. Friday could be one intense day if we allow the energy to run away with us. The Moon today triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed both Venus and the Sun, and the Moon square Mars in Pisces. The Moon opposed the Sun is the Sagittarius Full Moon [3:12 PM EDT] and a Lunar Eclipse. Mercury sextiles Uranus. We could be all over the place today and run by fear and anxiety. We might easily buy into a dystopian present and readily able to rattle off any number of bad situations occurring in our world. If we get caught up in the negativity being continually projected at us, our physical health and mental well-being may suffer. If, on the contrary, we seek out a sanctuary for ourselves, disengage from the crazy-making antics out in the world, and quietly contemplate, we could think outside the box, pull back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz screen to see what is truly going on, and not fall prey to the negativity. Not everything is the way it seems. This is a day that calls for us to slow things down and consider alternate realities to what is being presented to us. We live in a world of sound bites and fiction often supplanting facts, but it’s not necessary for us to buy into any one particular opinion or the collective consensus. We may be privy to some unexpected news, interesting occurrences. This is a day to be attentive to what is occurring beyond our usual parameters.
Saturday, June 6th – Running On – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Mars. Friday and Saturday can be intense. Whatever craziness may have occurred on Friday can trickle into this Saturday. The Moon completes its transit of Sagittarius with a square to Neptune. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for fifteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn. The Sun squares Mars. Friday and Saturday could have us rushing around on an adrenaline high. Or is it panicked frenzy? We might not be thinking clearly on these two days, and we do have to be careful regarding our actions and our movements. Impetuousness and recklessness on both Friday and Saturday are liable to make us accident prone. Perhaps we have been cooped up too long and are getting out our energy in explosive bursts. Taking things down a notch and not solely reacting to whatever is going on could prevent some nasty incidents. Fortunately, later on this Saturday we can get a grip, be more grounded, and less triggered by the intensity. We may have exhausted ourselves after a two-day merry-go-round of frantic activity and thoughts and in need of catching our breath, taking a rest.
Sunday, June 7th – In or Out – Uranus, Mercury, Mars. Sunday begins with the Capricorn Moon trine Uranus, followed by the Moon opposed Mercury, and ends with the Moon sextile Mars. If we could have this Sunday as a blank slate, whereby we can do whatever we wish spontaneously and on the spur-of-the-moment, that would certainly be our preference. Family commitments or projects around our home may feel like obligations we need to attend to but would prefer to skip. The main thing on this Sunday is taking time to do something unfamiliar, even if it’s a trite alteration to our schedule. The sense of freshness and uniqueness is called for. It doesn’t necessitate a huge amount of time, even a brief break from our routine could give us a proverbial shot in the arm and make us feel more alive, more autonomous and not regulated by our responsibilities or by other people. Once we get a positive hit from the unique and unexpected, we can get back to business, pick up the pieces, and deal with our scheduled plans for this day.
