The astrology for this week of January 27th through February 2nd of 2020 offers us assistance and support IF we don’t try to ‘rush the river’.
The week begins with our sensitivity ratcheted up severalfold. Either we can be incredibly astute, able to combine our visionary foresight with practical implementation, or we could play the victim card, whereby we are solely passive observers and buy into the apocalypse as presented by the chattering classes.
Let’s keep in mind that how we behave is our choice, always our choice, although recent trends have contributed to us as being reactors rather than actors in the procession of our lives.
If we can get a grip on our emotions, draw upon our intuitive sense without getting carried away by a sense of either inevitable victory or inescapable defeat, then the early part of this week may be a highly productive period for us to advance our goals and accomplish our plans.
Especially during this time of paradigm shift with its extreme disruptions, we need to engage an attitude of non-attachment, avoid knee-jerk reactions, and allow things to unfold before we determine what is truly going on. Remember that these times demand that we let go of the wrong assumption that we are the sole masters of our destiny but rather engage the truth that we are the co-creators with the universal unfolding of our individual journey.
The mid-week period might have us more self-assertive, more self-affirming, and willing to march forward, no matter the circumstances or the conditions. Our courage and confidence may be restored, but it would be wise for us to keep in mind the importance of balance. Life may seem more like a narrow balance beam that we are trying to cross, all the while buffeted by the winds of unexpected situations. By being aware and mindful, we can get through the vagaries of these times.
The weekend allows us to implement our plans and our decisions in an effective and solid manner.
This is a week that can be highly effective, if we keep our wits about us. Appreciating our personal journey with a heads-up regarding any signals as to our best way forward could instill the optimism and passion of advancing our ambitions and reaching for our dreams. With our fortitude renewed, we are then able to create the ‘right’ template by which to plant our seeds and take our intentions from concept into manifestation.
Monday, January 27th – Harkening to the Muse – Uranus, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune. The week begins with the Pisces Moon sextile Uranus, and the Moon sextile Jupiter. Venus sextiles Neptune. We could be highly sensitive as we start the week. We may decipher alternate means to accomplish some of our plans. Our intuitive sense can be heightened today, and we might have an inner understanding of how best to navigate our conditions. The input of someone, who is supportive of our endeavors yet also has a detached, objective viewpoint, could give us the impetus to move forward even when our own determination might falter. While we can be impressionable to our surroundings and whatever is going on around us, it would be wise for us not to get overly impacted by the naysayers or doomsayers. This is a day for us to take negative input with a grain of salt and with the attitude to ‘check the source and check their agenda’. Either we can fall prey to the Eeyores who see everything in a negative light, or we can lift high our heads and recognize that there is a natural unfolding of our life’s journey and signals offered us along the way if we would listen to the muse.
Tuesday, January 28th – Righting the Wrong – Mars, Neptune, Venus, Pluto, Saturn, Moon Void-of-Course. The Moon continues its transit of Pisces with the Pisces Moon today square Mars, the Moon conjunct both Neptune and Venus, and the Moon sextile both Pluto and Saturn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost eleven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries Wednesday morning. Mars squares Neptune. Tuesday is one of those days when we are liable to ‘jump the gun’. With a belief that we can do no wrong, we might go forward today without taking into account the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. Impetuousness could get the better of us on this Tuesday with a liability of miscalculations and accidents as a result. Although we might want to get on with things, this day is contradictory with screw-ups possible in the early morning hours and the ability to sort things out and clear things up later in the day. If we could restrain ourselves in the morning hours, then we might be better able to proceed effectively and efficiently later in the day without wasting time straightening out early morning errors. Timing, it’s all a matter of ‘right’ timing, and this Tuesday offers us an easier flow later in the day than in the morning hours. Let’s cut back on the caffeine or other stimulants early in the day to prevent from starting the day with a full head of steam but without clear direction or clear intention.
Wednesday, January 29th – Revving the Engine. The Moon moves into Aries on this Wednesday, but the Moon makes no connections to the planets today. Despite the Aries influence, there just isn’t a great deal of energy today. We may be ready to get in gear, can rev our engine but have nowhere to go. Although we could be ready to launch forward and initiate various projects, we might not have enough gas in our tank to move beyond a starting point and maintain momentum. Instead of rushing forward today, we could use this day as a ‘ME’ day, whereby we consider what we wish to pursue, concentrate on our personal desires, and take the time to engage whatever catches our fancy. Our time today may best be spent sampling this, that and the other without the need for commitment or follow through. If we could step off the track, explore unfamiliar terrain and not feel pressured to accomplish, we might find this day provides a sense of reinvigoration with a likelihood of a fresh perspective. Sometimes, we just need to step away from our regular routine in order to avoid repeating old patterns and recreating past involvements. This Wednesday may be one of those days. We can condition ourselves by taking care of ourselves in order to engage new pursuits over the next few days without falling back on the so-called ‘tried and true’, once tried no longer true.
Thursday, January 30th – Expanding Within Parameters – Sun, Jupiter, Mars. Thursday continues with the Aries Moon. While the Moon entered Aries yesterday, Wednesday had the Moon making no connections to the planets. This Thursday does have the Moon active with the Moon sextile the Sun, the Moon square Jupiter, and the Moon trine Mars. Thanks to yesterday’s ‘quiet’ [sarcasm intended] during these turbulent and disruptive times, we may have garnered a second wind, ready to take on the world, and expand our activities. We may be looking to our future with a broad range of possibilities to consider. This is one of those days when we might assume that ‘more is better’. While we can consider all sorts of involvements to engage, new projects to begin, it would be wise that we not get carried away with our wishful thinking or our sense of limitless prospects. We may learn of new trajectories that seem intriguing or hear suggestions from someone of something to engage. Options are always exciting, but it would be wise for us to consider whether we have the resources in time, energy, finances or capabilities to successfully participate in some of the proposals. Taking the time to consider the pros and cons of our intentions would go a long way in avoiding wasting our resources and honing our interests to what would be really meaningful to us. Once we concentrate on the truly appealing, we could be off and running with greater likelihood of favorable outcomes.
Friday, January 31st – First This, Then That – Pluto, Saturn, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. The early morning hours of this Friday has the Aries Moon square both Pluto and Saturn. The Moon then sextiles Mercury just before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over nine hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus late in the day. There are times when we get ahead of ourselves and would prefer to focus on our future possibilities rather than deal with our present responsibilities. Thursday could have been one of those days. With a thrust of energy to begin rather than complete and with a wide range of prospects tantalizing us, we might have neglected our obligations yesterday to concentrate on our prospects. If we did avoid dealing with our routine tasks yesterday, this Friday may pull us back into taking care of our usual engagements. This being Friday, there is a natural tendency to tie up loose ends and complete certain matters before the weekend, and the energy patterns today confirm the likelihood of addressing pressing demands first before we tune out and focus on the weekend. We can feel a push to complete certain matters on this Friday, but with a desire to rush out the door and get the weekend on we are also liable to gloss over certain particulars, negate specifics and be haphazard with the details. Let’s do what needs to get done with due diligence, for later in the day we can better engage our future intentions with the weekend geared towards putting our prospects into practical implementation.
Saturday, February 1st – Expeditious and Effective – Uranus, Sun, Jupiter. The Moon in Taurus today conjuncts Uranus, the Moon squares the Sun, and the Moon trines Jupiter. This Saturday is a good day for seed planting, perhaps more figuratively than literally. By engaging alternative means, we could find ourselves streamlining operations and being far more effective in expeditious ways. Unexpected situations might arise that pleasantly surprise us and alter our plans for the day. This is a day for us to have our antennae up and be open to shift and change from whatever we have planned for this day. If we go shopping, we might find some amazing bargains. The more we can be open to receive, the more likely we are to experience serendipitous encounters, wonderful opportunities that arise by our being in the right place at the right time. Social engagements in the evening might not go as planned and might seem more burdensome than delightful. If we could cancel any commitments for this Saturday, the better we would like it. We are likely to prefer this Saturday be a day of a ‘magical, mystery tour’ where we can forego planned engagements and instead enjoy the astonishing moments that are indicative of the paradigm shift. Oh boy, enjoy!
Sunday, February 2nd – Everything Falling Into Place – Neptune, Pluto, Venus, Saturn. Sunday continues with the Taurus Moon with the Moon today sextile both Neptune and Venus both in Pisces, and the Moon trine both Pluto and Saturn both in Capricorn. Venus sextiles Pluto. After yesterday when we might have witnessed glimpses of the magic and mystery of the paradigm shift, this Sunday seems to have us on greased wheels with everything fitting neatly into place. There can be a sense of ‘spirit in action’ today, for we can draw upon our visionary foresight and intuitive sense of ‘knowing without knowing’ to implement practical application to our projects with nothing falling between the cracks and everything coming together easily and successfully. We might garner assistance from someone who encourages and advocates for our abilities. This can be a highly productive day, a day when we develop the right template for our projects and feel as though our life’s involvements are working out to our benefit. We might choose to do some home fix-ups or feather our nest with the recognition that a solid foundation provides the support for fortunate outcomes. Let’s keep in mind the admonition of ‘to build upon rock rather than to build upon sand’. This Sunday provides the energy for us to create a rock-like base from which we can move forward with our ambitions.
