The astrology for this week of September 9th through the 15th of 2019 may have us racing to put finishing touches on certain projects all the while that we are looking to expand our activities.
This week has us continuing to do the dance between the Earth Grand Trine and the Mutable Sign T-Square. We can be highly effective when focused, but we can also enter a world of confusion as we determine what to do first, next, all the while continually wanting to add on more and more due to our boundless confidence.
The week begins with us dealing with our obligations, tying up loose ends. We can accomplish a great deal if we would keep our head down, nose to grindstone and just deal with what we need to get done.
As we move into the week, we might have an itch to add to our activities list. Unfortunately, clarity may be lacking. Certain interests might be tempting, but we are liable to question our own abilities to pull off possible involvements.
If we would take the time to appraise our options and consider the means to achieve our objectives, we need not self-sabotage ourselves nor jump into projects that seem good on first impression alone.
This is a week for us to put on the brakes occasionally, re-evaluate and gauge our intentions before rushing headlong into action. Many of us have been conditioned into always being active, productive, even if our actions are solely engaged with busy work.
The weekend has the Pisces Full Moon, the Harvest Moon. Concentration on our priorities will help us avoid chasing after pipedreams or trying to do too much without accomplishing anything. There’s no benefit to merely spinning our wheels.
We may be highly emotional, critical of our own efforts and looking for perfection in an imperfect world.
The weekend also has two major Sign changes. Both Mercury and Venus exit Virgo ending the Virgo power pack. Mercury exits its own Sign of Virgo to enter Libra, and Venus exits Virgo to enter its own Sign of Libra.
Although life seems to be a series of whipsaws, the shift of Mercury and Venus can have us seeking greater balance in our life. And while we have lost some of the Earth energy, the Grand Trine in Earth will continue by Sign through the first week of October, as will the Mutable Sign T-Square.
This week challenges us to find equilibrium in an ever-accelerating pace of life. Let’s not fall prey to anxieties but use the fierce rapids of these times as opportunities for transformation and have us concentrate on our true purpose in our life journey.
Monday, September 9th – Plan in Hand – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Saturn. Monday begins the week with the Moon completing its transit of Capricorn. Early in the day, the Moon trines Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost thirteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius late in the day. Mars trines Saturn. The key to this day is preparation. If we take the time to plan our day and strategize by means of time management what we wish to accomplish, we could plow through any number of tasks, bringing closure to certain issues. By concentrating on what is at hand, we can be sure that nothing falls between the cracks. We are likely to be expeditious and effective in tying up loose ends and bringing closure to various matters. Right timing of addressing mundane affairs provides the space to consider our options later in the day. The more we clear the decks, the more space we shall have to consider possibilities.
Tuesday, September 10th – A World of – Uranus, Sun, Neptune. Tuesday has the Aquarius Moon square Uranus. The Sun opposes Neptune. Whatever we have scheduled for this day may not go according to plan. Unexpected situations might arise that dampen our intentions and force us to confront our own insecurities. We may feel that we don’t have the resources to move into new trajectories. While we are living during a paradigm shift when things occur in a most unanticipated manner, not all of the surprises are magical or mini-miracles. Tuesday is a day when curveballs could be thrown at us. We might feel victim to circumstance, but let’s keep in mind that we are never given more than we can handle, no matter how we might view incidents. If we are not thrown for a loop but rather step back and consider the larger picture, we may see that no matter the challenges we have the ability to deal with them effectively. The main thing today is not to throw our hands up in despair. Allowing things to unfold can bring greater clarity than any immediate reaction.
Wednesday, September 11th – Take a Pause – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. Wednesday has the Aquarius Moon sextile Jupiter in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for twenty-eight and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces on Thursday. There is not a great deal of energy on this Wednesday. If we could get out of Dodge, whether literally or figuratively, we are encouraged to do so. Time spent with friends or that special someone today might be enlivening. Someone could prove a strong advocate and a good sounding board. There are times when we need to spend time in the Mutual Admiration Society with those people that see the half glass of water as more half full then half empty. There are too many whiners, hand wringers and negative people, which can be infectious. This Wednesday is a day when we just don’t want anybody to bring us down. This day is better served by being with people who are creative, joyful and who appreciate the wonder of it all.
Thursday, September 12th – Off and Running – Uranus, Mars, Jupiter. The Moon exits Aquarius to enter Pisces where late in the day the Pisces Moon sextiles Uranus. The Mutable Sign T-Square is engaged by Mars in Virgo square Jupiter in Sagittarius, followed on Saturday by Mars opposed Neptune. Thursday may have us fast out of the gate, but such speed doesn’t assure that we know where we are going or what we are doing. This is one of those days when our enthusiasm and confidence are ratcheted up. We may feel that we can take on the world. We do have to be wary of impetuousness, for we could be operating on a wing and a prayer today. Irrational exuberance might get the better of us. While we may be operating from a high level of nervous energy and a sense of infallibility, it would be wise for us to apply the brakes now and then, take a pause from our activity, and truly consider what we are doing and why we are doing it. The late afternoon can have some interesting surprises and might get us back on the right track.
Friday, September 13th – Don’t Fear the Night – Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Pluto, Mercury, Venus, Sun. Although people fear Friday the 13th, such fear is misplaced. Thirteen is the number of transformation and self-realization. This Friday is certainly a high-energy day with all sorts of energy configurations. The Pisces Moon sextiles both Saturn and Pluto both in Capricorn. The Moon also triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon conjunct Neptune, the Moon square Jupiter, and the Moon opposed Mars. Mercury conjuncts Venus both in Virgo with both about to enter Libra tomorrow. The Sun trines Pluto. This is a day for us to keep our wits about us. There can be all sorts of diversions and distractions, which can increase our anxiety. If we keep grounded, we don’t have to be swayed by any of the crazies that are liable to be running amok. On the contrary, this Friday is a day when we can dig deep within ourselves, focus on our strength of character and draw upon our spirit and our soul to determine what is really essential for us in accord with our true meaning of life. Avoiding the crazies and crazy antics of our own, we can prioritize our activities and take things step-by-step.
Saturday, September 14th – Light of the Moon – Pisces Full Moon, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, Mercury Libra, Venus Libra. Late Friday, early Saturday has the Pisces Full Moon, the Harvest Moon. We conclude a two-week cycle from New Moon to Full Moon that could have had us highly productive, juggling any number of matters, and mood swings ranging from anxiety to thrillingly surprised. Yes, it seems to have been both the best of times and the worst of times to borrow from Dickens. Once the Full Moon is engaged, the Moon then goes Void-of-Course for eighteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries later in the day. Both Mercury and Venus exit Mercury-ruled Virgo, thereby ending the Virgo Stellium and Mutable Earth power pack, to enter Venus-ruled Libra. Late in the day, the Aries Moon opposes both Venus and Mercury. Mars triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square with Mars having squared Jupiter on Thursday and Mars opposing Neptune on this Saturday. Not only can our emotions be turned up significantly, but we might also be a little too impetuous and consequently accident-prone. We could easily get carried away and engage in reckless activity. This is a day for us to temper our emotions and our actions.
Sunday, September 15th – Rest for the Weary – Saturn. Sunday has the Moon in Aries, but the Moon makes no connections to the planets until late in the day when the Moon squares Saturn. This Sunday is a ‘ME’ day, a day when we might decide to do whatever catches our fancy. We’re not looking to make any groundbreaking moves. Instead, we might just let the day unfold as it may with us engaging in spur-of-the-moment events. We are not interested today in what we have to do, only in what we want to do. Late in the day, we can schedule time for our obligations and responsibilities, all of which we can deal with in the coming week. This Sunday is more a time to rest on our laurels, although rest might not be the right word.
