August 26th – September 1st, 2019

The astrology for this week of August 26th through the 1st of September of 2019 suggests that we are in for a week of thrilling surprises.

This week in the US leads up to the long Labor Day holiday weekend, often considered the unofficial end to the summer season.

Unexpected situations provide the tenor of this week as the Virgo-transiting planets trine Uranus. We may be getting back on track with our regular routine, but our routine may be anything than regular. Change is in the air, and we are likely to be making various changes, whether those changes indicate a totally new environment or a familiar environment with new conditions.

This is a week to listen to the muse, to be open to the sirens’ call of magic and mini-miracles.

Even if we assume that we have a clear read and a total bead on what is going on, we may be in for some exciting twists and turns, most of which may put a smile on our face.

The week begins with our compassion engaged. While we might have responsibilities to attend to, serendipitous encounters could make us aware of options and alternatives unknown to us.

The mid-week period can have us ratcheting up our activity. We may feel as though we have gained a second wind. Working smarter rather than harder could have some welcoming results. Our time management skills might be adept, and we can glide through any number of activities quickly and expeditiously.

The latter part of the week on Thursday sees Mercury exiting Leo to enter its own Sign of Virgo, thtereby strengthening the Stellium in the Mutable Earth Sign as Mercury joins the Sun, Venus and Mars, all transiting Virgo.

The Virgo New Moon on Friday accentuates the Earth Grand Trine and imprints the next two weeks up to the Full Moon on the 13th – 14th of September. The Earth Grand Trine continues by Sign through the first week of October.

We are likely to get more serious about the specifics of our mundane affairs, dealing with all the particulars that make up our daily life.

Not that we become obsessed with our nose to the grindstone. On the contrary, we may be able to blend effective management of our routine affairs with interludes of fun social get-togethers.

We end the weekend enthralled by connections new and old. By having our antennae up and being receptive listeners, we may get startling insights that we can use to great effect in successfully advancing our goals and doing so with streamlined methods. Collaboration and the appreciation of the diverse people who populate our life can remind us that we are not ‘islands unto ourselves’ but rather part of a larger intertwined community, and a community that transcends time and space.

Monday, August 26th – Magic Begins – Mars, Venus, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune. Monday begins the week with the Moon in Cancer. The Cancer Moon today sextiles both Mars and Venus both in Virgo, the Moon sextiles Uranus in Taurus, the Moon opposes Saturn, and the Moon trines Neptune. Venus trines Uranus. Today begins a week of surprising incidents and magical interactions. Fascinating aspects of these times are the breakdown of dimensions, the dissolution of barriers, and the asequential events where things can occur in a most inexplicable manner. While we might prefer the safety of our ‘safe space’ today, blockades don’t necessarily keep out exciting contacts. I always remember a situation with a client who asked how they would meet their ‘right’ partner. As unbelievable as it might seem, I answered that based upon their chart the ‘right’ partner would literally show up at their door. And in deed such a scenario occurred with my client meeting their ‘right’ partner who came to their door asking directions for where they were headed. This bizarre contact developed into the two of them dating and eventually getting married. Today has a similar energy whereby there can be serendipitous encounters. The contact may not be as direct as showing up at the front door, but there could be a most unexpected and fascinating connection today. Responsibilities might intrude upon our mystical day today, but it need not place blinders on and narrow our vision where we see only what is straight in front of us. Let’s be open to receive the possibilities of even the seemingly impossible. This Monday begins a week of various incidents that we might classify as magic and mini-miracles.

Tuesday, August 27th – Racalibration – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. This is a week when the universe can offer us some extraordinary incidents that seem to defy conventional wisdom. Being conditioned into a mindset of initiation and implementation to come to a definite conclusion, we have difficulty explaining situations that arise out of the blue, those situations we cast off as bizarre coincidences. Yesterday may have opened the door to a fascinating connection, and despite our surprise at the contact we might have merely written it off as coincidence, if you believe in such a thing as coincidence. And indeed today, we may see any unexpected interactions yesterday as a fluke, for to think otherwise could upset our conditioned mindset. Tuesday continues with the Cancer Moon with the Moon today opposed Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for fifteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Cancer and before the Moon enters Leo late in the day. Despite unanticipated variables thrown into the mix yesterday, Tuesday could have us with nose to grindstone, focusing on what we are used to and dealing with our mundane issues. It might be too much for us to throw open the door to the evidence of the paradigm shift of these times. Such a change in attitude could seem too threatening to our sense of control over our life’s circumstance. We may prefer to concentrate on our world as we know it without introducing any factors that could upset our perspective of our world as we know it.

Wednesday, August 28th – Up and Running – Uranus, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. This week is a week of stops and starts. The high energy days this week seem to be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The low energy days this week appear to be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. With incredible spikes thanks to Uranus being triggered repeatedly by the Virgo-transiting planets, this week is a series of unexpected and exciting experiences followed by respites that might feel like doldrums in comparison. This Wednesday has the Leo Moon square Uranus to begin the day and the Moon trine Uranus late in the day. The day ends with the Moon going Void-of-Course for almost twenty-four hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon completes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo late on Thursday. The second of this week’s four Virgo-transiting planets trine to Uranus has Mars trine Uranus today. Spontaneity and impulsiveness can take us off track, but diverting our trajectory could be where all the magic is on this Wednesday. We are in a creative mood and willing to expend whatever resources in order for us to stand out. Comfortable in our own skin, we can put the pedal to the metal today and fast forward many of our activities. The more we can streamline operations and utilize technology and equipment to advance our interests, the faster we can complete our projects. This is a day when we are likely to feel stoked, well able to take on the world on our own terms, and virtually move mountains. Coming towards the end of the day, we may give ourselves kudos for accomplishing so much in such a sort period of time, a feeling that can bolster our confidence and our optimism. This is one of those days when we may laud ourselves and exclaim: “I did it my way.”

Thursday, August 29th – Ever More Focused – Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Sun, Uranus, Mercury Virgo. The Leo Moon is Void-of-Course for most of this Thursday with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of the Fixed Fire Sign. We are also on the dark side of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s Virgo New Moon. There is not a great deal of energy today, and we might find ourselves puttering around or just enjoying ourselves after a Wednesday when we could have been operating at full throttle. Despite the Moon Void-of-Course and the dark side of the Moon, there is some major energy shifts going on today. Mercury exits Leo to enter its own Sign of Virgo adding to the Stelllium in the Mutable Earth Sign as Mercury joins the Sun, Venus and Mars in Virgo. Not only is the Virgo energy increased, an increase ever more evident with tomorrow’s Virgo New Moon. The Earth Grand Trine is also reinforced, a Grand Trine that continues on into early October. Late in the day, the Virgo Moon conjuncts Mercury. And the third of this week’s Virgo-transiting planets trine to Uranus occurs with the Sun trine Uranus. The Sun trine Uranus affirms the changes we are instituting in our life, whether that change is a change of environment in which we function or a change in how we deal with our routine matters. Let’s keep in mind that this latter part of August through the first week of October allows us to make manifest some of our projects, to realize some of our hopes and wishes. This six-week period is a phase when we can make ‘hay while the sun shines’. Hopefully, we won’t waste the opportunities. We could find that things are happening in a most unexpected manner, but certainly happening, and more to our benefit than to our detriment. We just have to avoid getting in our way by engaging the old mindset of controlling situations and instead embrace being co-creators with the natural, asequential unfolding.

Friday, August 30th – Are You Ready to Rumble – Uranus, Virgo New Moon, Sun, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Neptune. Friday has the Virgo New Moon with the Moon today conjunct the Virgo-transiting planets of the Sun, Mars and Venus, and the five Virgo planets in orb of a trine to Uranus. The Moon trines Saturn, and the Moon later triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square as the Moon squares Jupiter and the Moon opposes Neptune. Friday’s New Moon impacts the new two weeks up to the Full Moon on the 13th – 14th, and maintains an influence through the first week of October. This is a time for us to get serious about our goals, focus on our projects, and resolve to accomplish by achieving success through state-of-the-art means and techniques. By engaging different techniques and advanced technologies we can get more done than we might imagine. It may seem that we are operating on greased wheels with everything running smoothly. What we have to avoid is not getting in our own way, insisting on doing things in accord with old ways, and not taking on too much. Things may fit so neatly together that we surprise ourselves at how effortless attainments can be. This Friday in the US enters in the long Labor Day holiday weekend, the weekend considered the unofficial end to the summer season. In some parts of the country where school has not already started, schools will start shortly after Labor Day. We could feel more back on track with our autumn routine. Hopefully, we have used the past two weeks either gearing up to get back on track or already got back on track. While this weekend can be something of a fun summer-ending blowout, let’s maintain connection with our hopes and wishes for our days ahead.

Saturday, August 31st – Between the Two – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. This week has been a roller coaster of extreme involvements and respites. It may have been a whirlwind of fascinating and unexpected incidents followed by brief quiet spells. Saturday has the energy dying down again. Late on Friday, early on Saturday, we could be dealing with certain loose ends. With a bevy of exciting prospects presented to us over this week, we might choose to tie up certain matters that are more associated with where we have been and what we have been doing in order to clear some space for the new and the different. Friday had the Virgo Moon trine Saturn, and early on Saturday the Virgo Moon trines Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost fourteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra later on this Saturday. Getting things out of the way not only allows us to make space, but it also provides greater opportunity to enjoy the weekend with family and friends. Social engagements can make up a large part of our weekend, but Saturday seems to have us between the two of old and new, routine matters and social interactions.

Sunday, September 1st – Insights from a Trusted Source – Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Venus. Sunday continues with the Moon in Libra with the Moon today square Saturn and the Moon sextile Jupiter. Mercury trines Uranus, and Venus trines Saturn. We may feel obliged to honor a prior commitment today, although our preference might be to blow it off. The interesting thing about today is that we could get some startling information and may be made aware of fascinating possibilities. Insights can be strong today, and we might determine a best practices approach to perplexing problems. The source for solid advice may be surprising, but as the Christian Bible suggests ‘out of the mouth of babes’. Someone who is unfamiliar with our circumstance and our particulars could provide an objective perspective and might offer us sage advice. Today has the fourth and last of the Virgo-transiting planets trine to Uranus and caps a week that can have us dizzy and startled by surprising and unexpected opportunities. This week may provide further evidence of the paradigm shift from linear, sequential reality into asequential reality that affirms the magic and mini-miracles of these times. We don’t have to do it all, but we do have to be receptive to the universe offering up wonder-filled marvels. Let’s enjoy the ride!
