The astrology for this week of June 3rd through the 9th of 2019 highlights our relationships with plans for reunions, reconnections and social gatherings.
This week can be an upbeat week with the week beginning with the Gemini New Moon and its imprint on the next two weeks up to the Full Moon on the 17th.
The emphasis this week is largely on our relationships, get-togethers with family and friends. Whether we meet with people in person, through text or phone conversations, there seems to be a great amount of catch-up going on this week.
What we have to be wary of is trying to cram in ever so many social occasions that we find ourselves running around like maniacs and exhaust ourselves in the process.
Even if we are traveling or planning our summer travel vacation, we are likely to seek out the comfort of home and family during the mid-week period. Mercury exits its own Sign of Gemini and enters the family Sign of Cancer. Making our environment welcoming and pleasing could have us fixing things up and making requisite purchases to add to our home environment.
The latter part of the week may have us interested in recreational activities. Let’s keep track of our expenditures, for our expenses might be greater than what we bargained for. Although we are looking for good times with good friends, good times don’t always have to come with a hefty cost.
It would be wise for us not to overly schedule our weekend or at least for us to provide ourselves some time to do things spontaneously. We could hear about something that captures our fancy and we might alter our intentions as a result.
Over the weekend Venus exits its own Sign of Taurus to enter Gemini. Our social interactions may be far more vast even if they are shorter in duration.
We aren’t interested in anything heavy or negative this week, for we are looking for fun events and scintillating conversations.
Monday, June 3rd – Good Day Sunshine – Gemini New Moon, Sun, Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Jupiter. Monday begins the week with the Gemini New Moon with the Sun Moon conjunction in the second decanate [Libra] of Gemini. The Moon triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square Neptune and the Moon opposed Jupiter. We could be all over the place, whether literally or figuratively, as we begin the week. We can be fast out of the starting gate on this Monday morning. Conversations may make us aware of options and alternatives and might lead us down some interesting trajectories. Curiosity could be at the heart of our investigations. This New Moon begins a two-week period when we may be more focused on our relationships, eliciting information and thoughts from those we know and even those we encounter. While there can be a flood of ideas with us feeling optimistic and confident about the wide range of our possibilities, we do need a good filtration system to separate the plausible from the unrealistic. We are not interested in any parade rainers this week, but it would be wise for us to critically analyze conditions and circumstance before we leap into any particular new direction.
Tuesday, June 4th – Welcome Home – Mercury, Uranus, Mercury Cancer. Tuesday completes the Moon’s transit of Gemini with the Moon conjunct Mercury prior to Mercury exiting its own Sign of Gemini to enter Cancer today. The Moon enters its own Sign of Cancer where late in the day the Cancer Moon sextiles Uranus. As though there is no time to waste, we may start this Tuesday juggling any number of things. We might reach out to friends and contacts regarding proposed plans that we have in order to get their approval and acceptance of our intentions. We could be looking for validation of what we want to do, rather than an objective assessment of what we are going to do. Mercury entering Cancer can shift our focus from entertaining any number of ideas to grounding ourselves through our home and family connections. We may be slightly less effusive than we have been and more interested in securing our base of operations before we entertain significant changes to our direction. The latter part of the day could have us moving things around our home environment, making slight changes in our comfort zone that might prove a trigger to more significant changes as we move forward.
Wednesday, June 5th – Sorting Through – Mars, Neptune, Saturn. Wednesday continues with the Moon transiting Cancer and with the Cancer Moon today conjunct Mars, the Moon trine Neptune, and the Moon opposed Saturn. Straightening up and clearing out our base of operations can provide a much needed release and elimination of things that have slowed us down or impeded our movement. We may concentrate our energies on sorting through past matters, filing, and getting rid of outstanding issues. Creating sanctuary in our home and making it a restful and nurturing place could be foremost in our mind. We can have ideas as to how to fix up our environment, but first we might need to provide space by clearing out and cleaning up. Summer is soon upon us, and we could be looking forward to entertaining in our home with family and friends or spending more of our time in our home base. We are likely to have the sense that once we put things in their right place, we can then spread our wings, travel, and enjoy ourselves in reunions and reconnections, but with the sense that everything is together on the home front when we choose to come back, regroup and offer hospitality to people we invite into our home.
Thursday, June 6th – Out and About – Pluto, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Uranus. Thursday begins with the Cancer Moon opposed Pluto. The Moon then sextiles Venus before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for five hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Cancer without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Leo where late in the day the Moon squares Uranus. The cleanup may continue during the morning hours of this Thursday. The more we can complete tasks early in the day, the better able we shall be to engage some fun activities over the next few days. If we have taken advantage of the energies yesterday and today to eliminate some of the stuff hanging over us, then we might find that we have some gaps that need to be filled. Shopping for accessories and for summertime activities might be part of our afternoon. As the day progresses, we may consider fun events and recreational pursuits. Although it would be wise to be cost conscious, we are liable to consider the things we want to do rather than account for the costs involved. The evening may have us spending more than we reckoned for.
Friday, June 7th – Surprising Encounters – Sun, Mercury, Uranus. Friday continues with the Leo Moon with the Moon today sextile the Sun. Mercury sextiles Uranus. Even if we have certain plans scheduled for this Friday, we could learn about something that might be far more pleasing than what we have scheduled. Hopefully, we used Wednesday and Thursday to take care of our mundane affairs and dealt with our necessary obligations. Friday is a day when a sense of magic in the air may seem evident. Surprising news can put a smile on our face, and we could decide to take a powder, abandon our schedule, and do something totally different and unexpected. This is a day for us to have our antennae up and be open to receive fascinating possibilities. Often when we step away from our regular routine, we find ourselves ‘in the right place at the right time’ with interesting opportunities presenting themselves. Whether we get out of town or just step away from our regular routine, we could have some ‘ah-ha’ moments of startling insights. This Friday can be a primo day and one quite outside the ordinary.
Saturday, June 8th – Social Occasions – Jupiter, Venus, Venus Gemini. Saturday continues with the Leo Moon with the Moon trine Jupiter and the Moon square Venus right before Venus exits its own Sign of Taurus to enter Gemini late in the day. We may be feeling upbeat, confident and optimistic. Something we heard about or experienced yesterday may have put new ideas in our head, ideas that are scintillating and provide ways by which we can either streamline our operations or step off the track and enter into a new trajectory. We seem to give this wave of enthusiasm greater thrust, and our interactions with other people could be exciting. Whatever social occasions we might attend today, we can feel as though we are in a meeting of the Mutual Admiration Society. Everyone seems very upbeat, pleased with themselves and with the company they keep. The one caveat to today and yesterday is any liability of overspending. We could get caught up in the fun of the time and neglect the costs involved. It would be wise for us to keep our expenses down since we might have the propensity to spend more than would be wise. But no parade rainers for us today, so just keep in mind the possibility of excessive expenses, without feeling I’m raining on your parade. Friday and Saturday can be two fun days when social occasions and recreational activities can be invigorating, refreshing and even possibly quite informative. Late on Saturday, the Moon exits Leo and enters Virgo.
Sunday, June 9th – Dance to the Music – Uranus, Mercury, Mars, Sun, Neptune. The Moon in Virgo today trines Uranus, and the Moon sextiles both Mercury and Mars both in Cancer. The Sun squares Neptune. While Friday and Saturday could have given us an injection of ‘feel good’ energy with us feeling upbeat and inspired and validated by someone, Sunday is a day when we can put into practice any new insights or different ways of doing things. Change may be in the air, and we might be the instigators of the change. This Sunday could seem more like a work day, a day when we deal with the various particulars of our daily life. Although we might be pulled in different directions by someone’s suggestions today, this is a far better day for us to attend to fix-ups, whether those include maintenance around our home environment or dealing with the details of our daily life. If we had blown ourselves out in good times over the past two days, we could feel slightly hung over and not sure about what to do first and what to do next. With the Moon in Virgo, the Mutable Sign T-Square by Sign transforms into a Mutable Sign Grand Cross by Sign with the Moon in Virgo, Jupiter in Sagittarius, Neptune in Pisces, and the Sun and Venus in Gemini. If we don’t plan out our day and focus on what we intend to do, we could be running around anxious and concerned that whatever we wish to accomplish is beyond our grasp or beyond our ability to concentrate. Then this Sunday could spiral into our running around in circles. Why go there when a little bit of attention can have us highly effective and productive in taking care of basic necessities? There are times for play and times to deal with the fundamentals of our life. Friday and Saturday were geared to the former, today tuned to the latter.
