The astrology for this week of May 27th through June 2nd of 2019 might not have us thinking straight but with our muddled thoughts straightened out by someone’s detached perspective.
The week begins with Memorial Day in the US, the end to a long holiday weekend that is the unofficial kickoff to the summer season. We may be craving the ‘lazy, hazy days of summer’ with us tending to relax, luxuriate and re-create to start this week.
If we could turn things down a notch or two, we would certainly be inclined to do so. Our thoughts are liable to take us into Fantasyland this week. With the idea that all things are possible, we can easily conjure up all sorts of impossibilities as not only possible but as likely trajectories.
No doubt that we are living during a paradigm shift where things can happen in a most unanticipated manner with various magic and mini-miracles sprinkling our everyday lives. But our ideas this week may border on the illusory and the delusional with us as both willing participants and as committed engineers. During this process of our considering all things as possible, we may forego our discernment and due diligence with the belief that if we want it, then it will be so.
Fortunately, the end of the week and over the weekend, someone with a detached perspective can come along, pierce our balloon of far out hopes and wishes, and help us to see things from a more practical and realistic viewpoint.
Although much of the week can be spent with us having our head in the clouds, the end of the week provides the input to help us put our feet back on the ground.
Monday, May 27th – All This and More – Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Lunar T-square, Mercury, Jupiter. Monday is Memorial Day in the US, the last day of the long holiday weekend that unofficially kicks off the summer season. The Moon continues its transit of Pisces with the Moon today sextile Venus in Taurus, the Moon conjunct Neptune and the Moon sextile Saturn in Capricorn. The Moon also triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square Mercury in Gemini and the Moon square Jupiter in Sagittarius. This day is geared to stepping off the track of our regular routine. We could seek to be somewhere other than our familiar surroundings. While we could enjoy ourselves with family and friends, we have to be wary that we haven’t become so wired that we try to do ever so much and then even more. We can get a lot done in completing certain matters and tying up loose ends, just as long as we don’t over schedule or get caught up in a frenzy of nervous energy. This day is best served by taking the time to enjoy ourselves and the company we keep. No reason for us to exhaust ourselves, although the liability is trying to cram too much into this day. Too much today could be costly in exhausting ourselves and in depleting our resources. Let’s slow things down, use this day as a ‘mental health’ day and stop to embrace the beauty in our lives and in our surroundings. Sometimes, the best things in life are free.
Tuesday, May 28th – Getting a Grip – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday has the Moon finishing its transit of Pisces. Early on Tuesday, the Pisces Moon sextiles Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for fourteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries later in the day. This past weekend could have had us reflecting on where we are and where we are going, even if we were caught up in the hurly-burly of recreational activities and social get-togethers. While we might be feeling slightly hung over from any weekend festivities, we may also have a sense of situations to which we need to bring closure. Tuesday is a good day for us to consider our priorities and focus on the truly meaningful. We may be doing a clearing out, whether physically or mentally. We can be concentrating on new projects and new endeavors and wishing to rid ourselves that are more of our past, outmoded and irrelevant, in order to ensure that any such matters don’t become a hindrance to our new trajectories. We might be feeling a push – pull between old and new, and a level of confusion could ratchet up over the next two days. This is a time for us to consider our possibilities without fully implementing any one of them. Whenever the Moon completes its transit of Pisces and enters Aries, we are closing out a month-long phase and entering a new month-long phase. We may want to get on with things, plow forward with new projects, but it would be wise for us to take it slow since our ideas in concept may seem far easier to achieve than in reality. The Aries Moon makes no connections to the planets so we might find ourselves running in place.
Wednesday, May 29th – Could it Be – Sun, Mars, Mercury, Neptune. Wednesday continues with the Aries Moon with the Moon today sextile the Sun, and the Moon square Mars. Mercury squares Neptune triggering the Mutable Sign T-Square with Mercury square Neptune today and Mercury opposed Jupiter tomorrow. Welcome to the Fun House! Today and tomorrow could have us devouring pie in the sky. We may be feeling good about ourselves and ready to involve ourselves in new activities. We certainly have the physical energy, but our clarity of vision may be lacking. This is a time when what we see and what we believe may not be what we get or even the reality of the situation. We need to avoid bone-headed decisions and impetuous actions, for we might make assumptions that have no basis in fact or probability. Our thinking may be more wishful than realistic, and we could easily buy into nicely worded presentations and seductive appearances. We can entertain all sorts of possibilities, but let’s avoid making any definitive commitments until we have a clearer head and a more objective perspective from someone later this week.
Thursday, May 30th – Flying High Without Touching the Ground – Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Neptune. Wednesday and Thursday are two days when we could be slurping down the kool-aid. We can be gung-ho about whatever catches our fancy. This Thursday has the Moon continuing its transit of Aries with the Moon today sextile Mercury, the Moon trine Jupiter, and the Moon square both Saturn and Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for thirteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus early on Friday. Venus sextiles Neptune. Mercury opposes Jupiter to round out the Mutable T-Square of yesterday and today. We could be feeling upbeat and enthusiastic and willing to negate our responsibilities in order to engage all realms of possibility. This is a day when we may become easily infatuated. Whatever looks good we might assume has to be good. No naysayers for us today. We’re likely on a high and willing to ride the emotion with nothing stopping us or getting in our way. The only thing that could trip us up would be our familiar routine. If we have to go there and need to address our obligations, we may do so halfheartedly and with little consideration of doing so with diligence. Wednesday and Thursday can better serve as flights of fancy, but let’s keep in mind that it may truly be fanciful with little connection to the practical or the realistic.
Friday, May 31st – Straightening Out – Uranus, Mars, Venus, Saturn. Much of this week could have had us making errors in judgment and being too impetuous in our actions. Friday through Sunday provide a more grounded and focused approach to situations. And some of it may occur as a result of a little help from a friend. Friday has the Moon moving into Taurus where today the Moon conjuncts Uranus, and the Moon sextiles Mars. Venus trines Saturn. If we have gotten off track over the past few days due to our wishful thinking and lack of diligence in our considerations, then this Friday allows us to straighten things out. We may be less impetuous and more interested in going slowly and with focused intent. We can utilize streamlined operations to advance our goals. Someone might offer insightful suggestions as to how best we could address our plans, and we can present ourselves as being very much put together. This is a day when we could propose innovative, even radical, ideas and do so in a grounded and stylish manner. Our appearance and our attention to details may seem like a 180 compared to the past two days and can win us approval of our plans and our efforts.
Saturday, June 1st – On the Right Track – Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Although we are accustomed to the work week being normally Monday through Friday, our most effective and productive days this week may turn out to be Friday through Sunday. Saturday continues with the Moon transiting Taurus with the Taurus Moon today sextile Neptune, the Moon conjunct Venus, and the Moon trine both Saturn and Pluto. Later in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost thirteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini early on Sunday morning. We can accomplish a great deal on this Saturday, especially if we draw upon time management skills. A ‘to do’ list to plan our day can assist us in optimizing our efforts. We may have a sense of our priorities, what we need to do first. Collaboration with someone, whether they join us in our efforts or prove to be a good cheerleader for our plans, can give us wind under our wings. We can be quite impressive today, knowing the right moves and doing so in an expeditious manner and with style and grace. The more we can attend to on Friday and Saturday, the more of the particulars in our life can be successfully addressed.
Sunday, June 2nd – Broadening our Scope – Venus, Pluto. Sunday has the Moon moving into Gemini, but the Moon today makes no connections to the planets. The main energy of this day happens late on Sunday with Venus trine Pluto, following up on the Venus trine Saturn configuration on this past Friday. If we had nose to grindstone over the past two days of Friday and Saturday, we might have accomplished more than we had first imagined. These past two days could have been highly productive, and we might have dealt with any number of things, effectively putting things in the right order and with us focused on our right priorities. Sunday allows us to be a little more carefree and possibly less intense in regard to what we feel we need to do. We could use this Sunday as a ‘breather’, a time when we take off the blinders, work with peripheral vision, and engage any number of interests without feeling compelled to be too intense. Interactions with other people can be fun and engaging, and we might gain the approval and acceptance for some of our goals.
