The astrology for this week of March 25th through the 31st of 2019 can increase our emotions, provide greater clarity to what is really going on, and can pick up the pace as we more fully embrace springtime.
Monday begins the week with us in full ‘Spring fever’ mode. If we could step away from our routine obligations, even if only for a few moments, we are likely to do so. We are far more interested in what lies beyond our normal circumstance. We may want to spread our wings and explore creative options for ourselves. Nothing is too distant for us not to investigate.
The pulls of our usual habits may tug on us, but any stepping off the track can be justified by relying on the Mercury retrograde, which reminds us that important matters and important decisions are better postponed during a Mercury retrograde and with the recognition that Mercury will be turning direct later in the week.
The early part of the week has Venus exiting Aquarius to enter Pisces. As it does so, Venus creates a Stellium in the Mutable Water Sign as Venus joins Mercury and Neptune in Pisces. Our compassion may be engaged, and we could don the role of caretaking other people’s concerns. What we have to be wary of is falling into a co-dependent role or letting our service segue into self-sacrifice.
Interesting encounters might occur in the mid-week period with suggestions from someone regarding how we could best secure our future. Let’s take everything we hear or see with a healthy skepticism since we are operating under a Mercury retrograde about to turn direct when things can get increasingly squirrely.
Mercury ends its three-week retrograde cycle before we end the week, but it would be wise that the shift from retrograde to direct, or from direct to retrograde, always gets increasingly convoluted.
The weekend may be a good time for us to do something different, possibly egged on by a friend. Social gatherings and adventures in search of good times with good friends may lift our spirits over the weekend.
We end the weekend with the second of this week’s Sign changes as Mars exits Taurus and comes into Gemini. Not only are we likely to get our motor running. We might be looking to get out on the highway and byways. Certainly, we are moving into a time of greater juggling, as if… we haven’t been juggling for much of these recent times.
Monday, March 25th – Spreading Our Wings – Sun. Monday begins the week with the Moon entering Sagittarius where today the Moon trines the Sun newly-transiting through Aries. We may feel well put together and ready to soar with the eagles. If we could focus primarily on our own interests today, that is likely to be our preference. We may be more interested in delving into new adventures rather than dealing with ‘same old, same old’. Since we are likely feeling upbeat, today does not have to be an either / or day of either dealing with our obligations and having no fun or blowing off our responsibilities to take a powder without acknowledging pressing demands. What we could do on this Monday is to deal with the most pressing matters in an effective and expeditious manner and as if guided by an inner sense and then have the time to enjoy ourselves. There is no reason that we cannot have both — addressing the tasks at hand and also having some fun time.
Tuesday, March 26th – Good Time Charlie – Mercury, Neptune, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Pisces. Tuesday continues with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today square both Mercury and Neptune both in Pisces, and the Moon conjunct Jupiter. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for eleven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn tomorrow. Venus enters Pisces, a Sign of Exaltation for Venus, where our compassion and caring nature are fully engaged. Venus moving into Pisces also creates a Stellium in the Mutable Water Sign as Venus joins Mercury and Neptune in Pisces. This is a day when we have to watch that our good nature is not taken advantage of. Wanting to be of service and to help out, we have to avoid our service turning into self-sacrifice. There are times when enough is never enough for some people, and we have to prevent ourselves becoming victim to a bottomless pit of someone whose issues are challenging and over-the-top. Someone might want us to take on their problems. Let’s keep in mind that we can help someone lift their burden but we cannot carry their burden for them. If we were to do so, we would be taking on their karma and preventing them from whatever lessons they need to learn from the situation.
Wednesday, March 27th – Gifts from the Universe – Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Uranus. Wednesday begins with the Sagittarius Moon Void-of-Course with the Moon making no connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon moves into Capricorn where today the Capricorn Moon trines Uranus and the Moon sextiles Venus. Venus sextiles Uranus. There are times when gifts come to us virtually out of the blue. This Wednesday could be one of those days. Serendipitous encounters can occur. We may feel as though someone is paying forward and we’re the recipient of the good fortune. This is a day for us to keep our antennae up, for mini-miracles may occur. We might make a fabulous purchase or be in line for an unexpected windfall. Whatever happens, no matter how grand or how slight, this Wednesday opens the window to the paradigm shift where things take place in a most unexpected manner, almost quite magical. Let’s do keep in mind that Mercury is turning direct tomorrow with communications and movements being off kilter. The shift in energy does not have to be a buzzkill, but we do need to work with peripheral vision and have our antennae up for the good without forgetting the liability of the bad and the ugly.
Thursday, March 28th – Sighing Relief – Sun, Mercury, Neptune, Mercury direct. Thursday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today square the Sun, and the Moon sextile both Mercury and Neptune both in Pisces. I want to give a shout out to Mercury, which ends its three-week retrograde cycle and turns direct. We’ll still be in the ‘shadow’ of the Mercury retrograde until April 16th, but we can kiss this year’s first of three Mercury retrogrades goodbye. This one proved a doozy, and I for one am glad to see it go. Even as Mercury continues to transit Pisces and in close orb of a conjunction to Neptune, our mind and thought process can either be highly attuned with our intuition spot on or we could delude ourselves as to what appears to be going on. Especially since facts in this day and age are largely commentary, it is essential that we draw upon our inner voice to filter what is being told us. We can sharpen our sixth sense to a fine filtration of what we see, what we hear and what other people express. With the Stellium of three planets in Pisces, our thoughts and feelings can be highly compassionate and caring, but it would be wise to keep in mind the need to be judicious and not ‘cast our pearls before swine’.
Friday, March 29th – Nose to Grindstone – Saturn, Pluto, Mars. For much of this Friday, the Moon continues its transit of Capricorn with the Moon today conjunct both Saturn and Pluto and the Moon trine Mars. With the ending yesterday of the three-week Mercury retrograde cycle when we might have experienced glitches and foul-ups, we can start to straighten things out. Not that we can move ahead forcefully without being attentive, for whenever Mercury shifts direction, things can be squirrely right before and right after, until we get use to the movement change. This Friday does allow us to resolve matters that may have been caught in the confusing, craziness of the Mercury retrograde. And there may have been many. While we might have our eyes on the weekend with eager anticipation, we can use this Friday to tie up matters, bring things to completion and plan our schedule for the days ahead. Much of our energy today may be focused on our goals and our ambitions with the intention that we create the right template, have substance in our content, and present it all in an appealing package. It would be wise for us to have nose to the grindstone in order to be free and clear for a fun weekend. In the evening, the Moon exits Capricorn and enters Aquarius.
Saturday, March 30th – Twists and Turns – Uranus, Sun. Saturday has the Aquarius Moon with the Moon today square Uranus and the Moon sextile the Sun. Some of our plans may not go according to our intentions. We might feel either that things are more expensive than we’re willing to pay or that the people with whom we intended to participate in our plans can’t make it. Either way, our day may have certain twists and turns to it. Although we might be a little out of sorts to start this Saturday, doing things on the spur of the moment could prove exhilarating. Social get-togethers could be fun and enjoyable events.
Sunday, March 31st – Ramping it Up – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars Gemini. Sunday continues with the Aquarius Moon with the Moon making no connections to the planets until late in the day when the Moon sextiles Jupiter. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over eleven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces on Monday. Although we ight assume Sunday to be a day of rest, not too likely on this Sunday. Mars exits Taurus to enter Gemini. This Sign shift can have us all over the place, as we ramp up our energy but with a tendency to give a little here, a little there, and a little all over many other places. The Mars entry into Gemini also triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with Mars in Gemini, Jupiter in Sagittarius, and the Stellium of Mercury, Venus, Neptune all in Pisces. No matter what the weather might be, we may find ourselves stuck in high gear aiming for overdrive. It will be important for us keep in mind, even if we don’t heed it, the wise admonition: ‘moderation in all things’.
