The astrology for this week of September 24th through the 30th of 2018 can have us revving our engines, only to be hampered before we can break free and break out.
We begin this week with the Aries Full Moon with the Sun Moon opposition square Saturn. Old issues and old matters may need to be resolved, putting a damper on the early part of the week. Even though we could start the week upbeat and feeling as if the force is with us, late on Monday and on Tuesday we might feel the wind knocked out of our sails. Delays can be frustrating, and we are liable to find opposition coming from the most unexpected sources.
Even though the first part of the week can have us stammering and stumbling along, the latter part of the week gives us a thrust of energy and a desire to be with friends and those people who like us for just the way we are.
The weekend can have us juggling any number of things, going here, there and everywhere. We may feel as though all we need are the right ideas and the encouragement to accomplish great results.
The week closes out with Pluto turning direct, a planet whose shift in energy can be bombastic and explosive. Things hidden below the surface may be exposed and the liability to people acting out could be strong. Any pent-up energies might be released violently or aggressively. Let’s be mindful and careful as we end this week.
Monday, September 24th – All Fun and Games Until – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course, Aries Full Moon, Sun. Monday begins the week with the Moon finishing its transit of Pisces. Early Monday, the Moon trines Jupiter. Our dream state may be comforting, giving us a feeling of protection and benevolence by some higher force. Our moods are likely to be upbeat and possibly for no apparent reason except an inner sense that all can turn right in our world. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for seventeen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries where late on Monday the Moon opposes the Sun at the time of the Aries Full Moon. Much of this Monday might be spent completing certain matters, tying up loose ends and bringing closure to various issues. We may feel as though we have cleaned up and cleared the decks, but the Full Moon squares Saturn, with the Aries Moon and the Libra Sun exactly square Saturn on Tuesday. Even when we believe that different situations are complete, we could discover that there are certain particulars that still need to be addressed, thereby delaying the resolution or conclusion. We might have to step back before heading forward, but let’s not allow the past to overly inhibit us. We can only do what we can do but the phantoms of past matters could still vex us on this Monday night and on Tuesday.
Tuesday, September 25th – Pushing Forward with a Push Back – Mars, Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Mercury, Sun. The Full Moon influence crescendos on this Tuesday. The Aries Moon sextile Mars may impel us into new directions, wanting to launch projects that advance our future with our seeking to fast forward. Unfortunately, this day could feel like putting the pedal to the metal all the while that we have the brakes on. The Moon today triggers a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Moon square Saturn and the Moon opposed Mercury. The Sun squares Saturn. This is a day for us to temper our energy. Yesterday we might have felt a rush and a divine support to accomplish only to have a sudden stop to our forward movement and then to backtrack and deal with past matters. Tuesday may have a similar energy — fast forward with not a care in the world only to bang up against a wall of delays, frustrations and opposition. While this day could be a sequence of starts and stops, patience is called for and a willingness to modulate our energy from the fast to the laborious. The early part of this week can have us feeling hampered by responsibilities, obligations, old matters and other people’s stuff. Let’s keep in mind that astrology speaks to cycles, cycles very much akin to nature’s cycles of ebbs and flows, dynamic movement and stagnant pools. The first half of this week might be more like the ebbs, times when we feel the flow only to discover that we are more in an ebb period. If we would use the first three days of this week to tie up loose ends, be patient, and do whatever is called for us to do, then the latter part of the week may prove more the flow but in a less impetuous manner and in more practical, effective ways. It would be wise for us to attend to first things first this week: first the delays and loose ends, and then the unfolding on greased wheels.
Wednesday, September 26th – Petering Out – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course. Wednesday begins with the Aries Moon square Pluto. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost twenty-one hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus early on Thursday. This is a day when we need to make certain that it’s not a case of ‘all fall down’. The sense of delays and frustrations, the feeling that things were taking a lot longer than necessary over the past few days could have us throwing our hands up in the air and consider stepping way from what we are trying to achieve. While this day can start with a sense of our best efforts being hampered and our creative voice being muffled, let’s see any obstacles as providing an opportunity to consider whether we are heading in the right direction, or if we have just spent some time spinning our wheels, or if we need to recalibrate our methods before progressing with our plans. Much of this day might be spent with us elsewhere, whether we take a journey out of Dodge or just travel into our mental meanderings. While there may not be a great deal of energy to move things forward today, this day would allow us to recharge our batteries, reinvigorate ourselves and allow us a broader perspective from which to view our life situation.
Thursday, September 27th – Brand New Day – Uranus, Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Mars, Venus, Sun. Thursday has the Moon entering Taurus where today the Moon conjuncts Uranus, the Moon trines Saturn, and the Moon triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon square Mars, and the Moon opposed Venus. The Sun trines Mars. Thursday allows us to take a practical approach to our activities. We can consider new methodologies that are more streamlined to deal with our tasks at hand. While we might feel ready to explore new dimensions, all with the support and encouragement of someone else, we might find our forward advance to be impeded if we become too impulsive and try to push through aggressively. This day calls for finesse and a willingness to consider options as to how we go about things. Although society has a tendency, really a liability, to throw money at things with the hope that the money throwing will resolve problems and situations, this is a day that calls for us to be resourceful, to consider a best practices approach and to recognize that everything has its own rhythm and its own pace, no matter how hard we might try to advance according to our desires. Patience is asked of us today, even if we are feeling far more energized with a sense that the past three days of banging up against things with various frustrations and delays are fully behind us. Taking things step by step today might have better effects than just pushing assertively ahead.
Friday, September 28th – Effective Planning – Neptune, Pluto, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. Friday has the Taurus Moon sextile Neptune, the Moon trine Pluto, and the Moon opposed Jupiter. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost fifteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini tomorrow. If we would take the time to blueprint and strategize our day’s schedule, we could virtually move mountains or, at the least, accomplish a great deal. In our planning for this day, it would be wise for us to consider what we are drawn to that we wish to accomplish and then to prioritize our actions. By focusing on the most important items we wish to address today, we can engage our passion and our determination and enlist a best practices approach to get more done than we might even have anticipated. While this can be a highly productive day, we need to avoid get carried away by our successes. Later in the day, we might decide, based upon our effectiveness on this day, to take on more and more, which could prove a disaster. We also need to keep our finances in mind later in the day, for we may have the liability of spending too much in our taking on too much. The evening hours has the Moon going Void-of-Course. Whatever we have planned, things may take longer than we like and we just might not have the same energy level that we had during the day.
Saturday, September 29th – Clearing the Air – Lunar Grand Trine, Mars, Sun. Saturday has the Moon moving into Gemini where today the Moon triggers an Air Grand Trine with the Moon trine Mars in Aquarius, and the Moon trine the Sun in Libra. This Saturday is a day when we can be gliding smoothly along. Our conversations are likely to be dynamic with everyone adding something positive to the mix. This could be a highly sociable day. We might anticipate a great deal of discussion today, for we all seem to have the gift of gab. If we have had any relationship issues, this day may provide a sounding board whereby each person can express their ideas and sense of things and with everyone being receptive listeners. This energy configuration is a rare phenomenon, for while people are taking into account what is being said, receptive listeners are usually something of a rarity as everyone tries to make their voice heard without taking in what the other person is saying. While much of this week might have had delays and frustrations, this Saturday has greased wheels whereby we can easily navigate from one thing to another to yet another with few bumps, if any, along our route. If we find ourselves juggling several situations, we can do so effectively today.
Sunday, September 30th – Calm Before the Storm – Neptune, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto direct. Yesterday might have been one of those idyllic days with fun get-togethers and scintillating conversations. Sunday continues with the Gemini Moon with the Moon today square Neptune, and the Moon trine Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for twenty-six and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before the Moon enters Cancer Monday afternoon. Pluto ends its more than five month retrograde cycle and turns direct. We might choose a slow start to the day after what might have been a vibrant and vivacious Saturday. We are still in a chatty mood as we begin the day, but it would be wise for us to consider what we want to do and with whom we want to do it before we start the day. We may choose to spend time with a special someone and discuss our future plans. While much of this day can have us more in our head and thinking about our prospects, let’s keep in mind that during this paradigm shift into asequential reality it is best for us to make our plans in pencil with a large eraser, for we have come into times when unanticipated variables might shift and change our trajectory with the universal unfolding being much of the instigator. The Pluto turning direct can be explosive with bomb blasts, major accidents, geophysical activity, and people acting out. Let’s be cautious and careful as Pluto turns.
