September 10th – 16th, 2018

The astrology for this week of September 10th through the 16th of 2018 provides us with the confidence and optimism to virtually move mountains and to do so expeditiously.

We begin the week interested in our connections and how we can best proceed with our intended plans. We are likely to feel enthusiastic about what we are doing and able to prioritize our activities and streamline our operations. We may be running on all cylinders as we begin this week, slowed only by our usual obligations and responsibilities. Our exuberance could prove contagious, and most people are likely to be impressed by our appearance and our presentations.

We do have to be wary of those who might be envious or jealous of our ‘feel good’ disposition. So many people put on blinders and are locked into seeing only what is bad that they lose sight of the blessings all around them. Even if we are seen as an optimistic fool out of touch with reality, I would suggest what Einstein said: “I’d rather be an optimist and a fool than a pessimist and right.”

It’s hard to consider Einstein a fool.

The mid-week period may have us falling back on the ‘tried and true’. We do have to be certain not to go too far too fast since we could get caught up in a sense of everything going our way and lose sight of the particulars that could fit neatly into the impressionable possibilities.

The mid-week period allows us to be far more intent on what is going on behind the scenes. If we would draw upon our intuitive sense with a visionary focus, we could blueprint a means to achieving our greatest goals. By appreciating the fact that what we are seeking may also be seeking us, we can recognize that our projects and involvements have a life of their own and are likely to unfold in accord with their own process, especially if we stay out of our own way.

Much of this week may feel like we are moving ahead on greased wheels with few bumps in the road.

The weekend can be a time when we spread our wings, provide incredible insights in our discussions and encourage other people to engage their potential and to realize their talents.

This is a week for us to go for the gold.

Monday, September 10th – Out with the Old, In with the New – Mars, Saturn, Mars Aquarius. Yesterday gave us the Virgo New Moon and the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Monday starts with the Virgo Moon trine Mars. The Moon then moves into Libra where today the Moon squares Saturn. Late in the day, Mars exits Capricorn, ending the Stellium of three planets in Capricorn, and Mars enters Aquarius. We can tie up loose ends as we begin this day and then look towards the distant horizon regarding our future possibilities later in the day. Old connections could place demands upon us, and it would be wise for us to attend to any pressing needs. We are looking to unshackle ourselves from blockages and impediments and be fleet of foot as we consider new ventures. If there are naysayers in our midst, we are likely to send them away. We’re not interested in the downers but rather more interested in the inspiring and encouraging. This is a day for us to deal with our responsibilities first and then consider our future as a blank slate upon which we can draw whatever impassions us.

Tuesday, September 11th – World on a String – Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Jupiter. Tuesday has the Moon continuing through Libra and late in the day the Moon squares Pluto before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over nineteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio on Wednesday afternoon. The main energy configurations today are the Sun sextile Jupiter and the Sun trine Pluto. With complete confidence in ourselves, we can virtually move mountains today. We are prioritizing our activities, focusing on our most significant interests and being highly resourceful and to the point in our engagements. This is a day when we could accomplish a great deal. Everything can seem to be humming along nicely. While we may be focused on the big picture, no small detail is liable to be left unconsidered. We can take care of the specifics, implement a best practices approach and make great headway in advancing our goals. This is a day for us not to waste, for we could be highly productive and extremely effective in all that we do. We may end the day with a bit of a hiccup as someone either gets in our way or demands our attention. Not to worry though, for this day is too much in our favor to allow a slight blip to derail our plans. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course. Things come together on this Tuesday thanks to our optimism, our focus and our persistence. The hiccup late in the day may be addressed tomorrow, but this day has us sliding ahead on greased wheels.

Wednesday, September 12th – Curveballs to Knock Us for a Loop – Moon Void-of-Course, Lunar T-Square, Mars, Uranus, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto. Wednesday begins with the Libra Moon Void-of-Course with the Moon making no connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon moves into Scorpio in the mid-afternoon. The Scorpio Moon today triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon square Mars and the Moon opposed Uranus. The Moon conjuncts Venus, and the Moon sextiles Saturn. Jupiter sextiles Pluto, Venus opposes Uranus, and Venus sextiles Saturn. We may start this Wednesday with a thrust of enthusiasm and energy continuing with the ‘feel good’ disposition of yesterday. No matter how careful and precise we might have been over the past two days in laying down foundation stones and advancing our ambitions, Wednesday throws us some curveballs and curveballs that we could not have possibly taken into account, for they come out of nowhere in a most unexpected manner. Whether we have the resources to accomplish what we wish to get done, or twists and turns to our project tie us up in knots, we could hit some significant bumps in our forward movement. New ways of doing things, drawing upon new technologies are all well and good, but this Wednesday could find us being far more effective with the ‘tried and true’, old ways that work well especially today. Let’s leave experimentation for another time and rely instead on familiar patterns of behavior.

Thursday, September 13th –Brilliant or Deluded – Mercury, Neptune, Pluto. Thursday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon today sextile Mercury, the Moon trine Neptune, and the Moon sextile Pluto. Mercury opposes Neptune. This is a day when we could do more with less. Drawing upon our intuitive sense to devise a best practices approach before heading out would prevent impetuous and bone-headed actions. Either we can be brilliant and spot on in making our plans or we can be deluded and diverted by images and appearance without doing our due diligence. The more we are able to combine our sense of things and how things ‘feel’ with a critical, reasoning analysis, the stronger our strategies, itinerary and direction are likely to be. By taking the time and not rushing the river, we can be far more effective and successful in our ventures. Even during these times of accelerated and fast-paced living, patience is called for and allows greater clarity to how best to handle situations rather than just knee jerk reactions.

Friday, September 14th – Watching the Clock – Jupiter, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. Friday begins with the Scorpio Moon conjunct Jupiter and the Moon sextile the Sun in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost sixteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius late in the day. The Sagittarius Moon sextiles Mars. Friday can be one of those clock watching days, a time when we are waiting for the weekend and just passing time as the clock ticks down to release us from our mundane tasks and signals the start of the weekend. Instead of just pacing the floor or twiddling our thumbs, we can spend the time sorting through things, getting rid of extraneous matters and clear up and clean out issues that we don’t want to have to face as we come into next week. Whether we plan to travel over the weekend or get lost in lofty ideals, this weekend could have us waxing philosophical with the ability to zero in during conversations with a strong and focused presentation that can win over any number of doubtful listeners.

Saturday, September 15th – Zeroing In with Intense Scrutiny – Mercury, Pluto. Earlier in the week we had the Sun sextile Jupiter and the Sun trine Pluto on Tuesday, followed on Thursday with the Moon sextile Pluto and Friday with the Moon conjunct Jupiter. These positive connections to Pluto and Jupiter are engaged again on this weekend, first with Mercury trine Pluto today, and Mercury sextile Jupiter tomorrow. The Moon today continues its transit of Sagittarius but makes no connections to the planets. This day is all about the Mercury trine Pluto. Our thinking and our communications can be spot on with unassailable specifics and a forceful presentation. We can get to the heart of any matter, and this day would be a great day to draw upon our reasoning, analytical mind to devise a best practices approach that cuts to the core of any specific scenario, all the while preparing our argument with all details involved and being appealing both in our rationale and in a charming manner. Discussions can be intense today, but there is little room for confrontation. We can be feeling upbeat and confident in what we have to say, for we are likely not to have left any stone unturned. This weekend is made for communication and winning even the most questioning doubters to our cause.

Sunday, September 16th – Keeping on Track – Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Mercury, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Jupiter. Yesterday might have had us feeling that we were at the top of our game in our thinking processes, our communications, and our ability to present our ideas in a cogent and well-considered manner with no particular left out. We may have found the solution to any perplexing problem and impressed virtually everyone with our knowledge, understanding and ability to share our ideas so that everyone and anyone could fully comprehend what we were saying and agreeing with what we had to say. With Mercury sextile Jupiter today we could start this Sunday in a similar vein and feel pretty good about ourselves. That’s all well and good, but we have to be wary that we don’t get carried away with a self-admiration bordering on narcissism. While this Sunday can have us feeling optimistic and confident, if we get a little too full of ourselves, we could experience someone or something coming along and deflating our optimism or, at the least, putting us through our paces. The Sagittarius Moon today triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square Neptune in Pisces and the Moon square both Mercury and the Sun both in Virgo. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost twelve hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn early on Monday morning. We may have any number of things to juggle on this Sunday. Although our due diligence and intense scrutiny yesterday might have won us the day, this Sunday may have us resting on our laurels and riding on our self-admiration, and therein would lie a problem. Trying to cover too many bases today with confidence and optimism could lead us to forgetting to clearly explain our ideas or could have us making assumptions that gloss over specifics without dealing with the details or presenting a cogent argument. If we prepared well yesterday, then the juggling of too many things on this Sunday can be effectively managed. The main issue is for us not to get too full of ourselves and to be attentive to what is going on all around us. Staying on track and not veering off course could be a problem but only if we are not attentive to the conditions and circumstance around us.
