The astrology for this week of June 4th through the 10th of 2018 demands that we not fall into an emotional state of confusion but rather that we stay aware and astute to everything going on around us.
After what might have been a fairly pleasant weekend of fun get-togethers and excursions out of Dodge, we start this week with a focus on our relationships and our future intentions. This week may be slow starting. We might feel that we have a broad palette of options but without being able to determine what to do first.
The early part of the week can have us moody and anxious. While we might want to take a great leap forward, we could be concerned about where we would land should we leap. Mixed information and misinformation can be rampant during this week. It would be wise for us to take a wait-and-see attitude since what we see may not be what we get.
Even if we are spinning our wheels during much of this week, the question of timing is everything. Mixed messages can be confusing, and we might need to allow time to clear the air and sort things out.
The end of the week and the weekend can be a great deal more vibrant with us feeling more impelled to concentrate on our personal desires and do some seed planting for our warm weather projects.
This week allows us to see how affected we are by the conditions and circumstances in the world-at-large and in our own personal sphere. Although we can be impacted by everything going on in the world, we have the opportunity to see whether we are merely reacting to situations or if we are able to take machete in hand and carve our own path no matter the conditions prevalent in the background, some of which conditions may have no direct bearing on us.
Being mindful and with due diligence, we can meet any circumstance. Let’s keep in mind the truth to the wise saying that ‘we never get more than we can handle’.
Monday, June 4th – If Only – Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. The week begins with the Moon finishing its transit of Aquarius. Early in the day the Aquarius Moon squares Jupiter before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over twenty-nine and a half hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Pisces on Tuesday morning. Although the past few days may have inspired us and pumped us up regarding various opportunities we could take advantage of, this Monday begins with us winnowing down our options even to the extreme of leaving us empty-handed regarding our prospects. We can come up with all sorts of justifications as to why we cannot move in certain new directions, but much of our questioning is likely to revolve around our sense of not having the necessary resources — time, monies, talents — to accomplish our goals. We might lament that ‘if only…’ we had certain added resources, then we could forge ahead in new directions. This is a day for us to watch our expenses, for any frustration could be assuaged by impulse purchases, charging to our credit card and adding to our debt load. Let’s enjoy the simple things in life today — the beauty of the natural world and the connections with people that brighten our life.
Tuesday, June 5th – Applied Foresight and Vision – Uranus, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto. Tuesday begins with the Moon ending its Void-of-Course transit of Aquarius and the Moon entering Pisces. The Pisces Moon today sextiles Uranus early in the day, and the Moon sextiles Saturn towards the end of the day. The Sun conjuncts Mercury, and Venus opposes Pluto. Our sensitivity can be ratcheted up today, but our sensitive nature may allow us to take off our blinders, work with peripheral vision and think outside the box. We could come up with interesting new ways, and streamlined ways, to accomplish our goals. Instead of leaping ahead into the foray, this is a day for us to consider things and look before we leap. Alternative methods and a different approach may be the way for us to succeed in our plans. We can draw upon other people’s input, for their detached perspective might provide insight into specifics that we could have neglected. Let’s mull things over before initiating. This day might best serve us by contemplating, reflecting and considering rather than initiating, implementing or executing. Tweaking our game plan may save us countless unnecessary steps or re-workings. We might have to juggle our personal needs with our professional needs today, but that could be yet another reason for us not to try and do it all today.
Wednesday, June 6th – Mixed Messages – Jupiter, Sun, Neptune, Mercury, Pluto. The Moon continues its transit of Pisces on this Wednesday, and today the Moon trines Jupiter, the Moon squares the Sun, the Moon conjuncts Neptune, the Moon squares Mercury, and the Moon sextiles Pluto. Mercury squares Neptune, followed tomorrow by the Sun square Neptune. This Wednesday could be one of those days when we put the cart in front of the horse. We may feel geared up to take care of matters, address various issues and all with the hope that everything will go smoothly. Unfortunately, this day can give us mixed signals. If we confront any difficulties as we go along, we might fold quickly, dissolve into moodiness and feel victimized by circumstance. Instead of appreciating our role in any misfortune, we could engage the blame game. It would be far better for us to utilize our due diligence, take the time to consider whether what we see is really what we are likely to get, and take everything with a grain of salt. Today and tomorrow could find us going through various mood swings and states of confusion. While it would be wise to engage the input of someone with a detached perspective, we have to be wary of asking for the input of ‘yes’ people, those people who are supportive of us to a fault. Clarity is essential today and tomorrow, but may be fleeting at best and downright unavailable at its worst.
Thursday, June 7th – Not Feeling at Our Strongest – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Neptune. The Pisces Moon trines Venus in the early morning hours. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost fifteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon moves into Aries late in the day. We continue under the influence of Neptune, yesterday and today with the Moon transiting the Neptune-ruled Sign of Pisces and with Mercury square Neptune yesterday, the Sun square Neptune today. We may feel out of sorts, unable to move forward, tentative in our movements and hesitant about making any firm commitments. Wednesday and Thursday might be better as ‘mental health’ days, stepping off the track and taking time to regroup, recharge and meditate. The world is not going to stop spinning if we take our hand off the control gear. On the contrary, escaping into our reveries might provide us with a mystical, spiritual understanding of our essence, our true being. We don’t always have to have a strong identity, an identity often defined by what we do rather than who we are. These two days are days to quiet ourselves and be aware of the natural unfolding.
Friday, June 8th – Up and Running – Mars, Saturn. Friday has the Aries Moon with the Moon early in the day sextile Mars, followed shortly thereafter by the Moon square Saturn. After what might have been a confusing two days or preferably two days when we were M.I.A. [in this case, Meditative In Abeyance], Friday can have us geared up to be fast out of the starting gate. We may awaken with a burst of energy and a desire to pioneer new trajectories. Whether the last two days had us putting certain responsibilities on hold or we dealt with them in a less than accomplished manner, we could have various matters to address on this Friday. Let’s deal with the necessary tasks at hand, so that we can clear the decks and have the time and space to pursue new interests or for a clutter-free weekend. After much of the week when we may have been feeling slightly heavy, certainly moody, with times that seemed somewhat disconcerting, Friday gives us a boost and a spring in our step. With right scheduling, we can deal both with our obligations and also have time to do things spontaneously. We may be feeling a great deal better about our self and our situation than we have for much of this week. Balance is key. Let’s deal with mundane matters and also explore new options.
Saturday, June 9th – Juggling Act – Sun, Mercury, Lunar T-Square, Pluto, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course. This week may have provided us with evidence of the roller coaster of life with its ups and downs, its times of emotional mood swings, and the sense of having to be reactive at times, pioneers and explorers at other times. Saturday gives further evidence of what seems to be the paradox of living. The Moon continues its transit of Aries with the Moon today sextile the Sun and sextile Mercury both in Gemini, and the Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Moon square Pluto in Capricorn and the Moon square Venus in Cancer. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for eight and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus to begin our Sunday. We might have noticed the acceleration that has gone on in our lives. We are handling more situations in a shorter period of time than we did five, ten years ago. Life and living are moving ever faster, and it’s not a question of catching up but rather finding our own pace and our own rhythm. Juggling various matters is a large part of our life these days, and that reality could be evident on this Saturday. We may want to engage fun activities with friends or that special someone. At the same time, we could find various errands demanding our attention. This is a day for juggling and utilizing time management skills to try and accomplish a great number of things. By focusing our attention and refusing to feel overwhelmed, we could be highly successful.
Sunday, June 10th – Best Practices Approach – Uranus, Saturn, Mars. Sunday has the Moon moving into Taurus where today the Moon conjuncts Uranus, the Moon trines Saturn, and the Moon squares Mars. We may have commitments for this Sunday but, whether we do or not, we are likely to be drawn to activities that catch our fancy and that are not scheduled. Part of the joy in life is the unexpected, surprising situations that often arise. It’s like grabbing for all the gusto that life promises. This Sunday could start off that way with interesting distractions and diversions. As the day proceeds, we could get back on the straight and narrow and address our scheduled plans. We can be highly productive, able to blend new matters and new techniques with our experience and expertise. Where a problem might arise is our tendency to try and take on more and more. Let’s deal with our commitments, allow ourselves some side trips that may be exciting and enlivening but not exhaust ourselves in the process. This is a day for us to use a best practices approach, to streamline our involvements while maintaining our effectiveness.
