June 18th – 24th, 2018

The astrology for this week of June 18th through the 24th of 2018 brings us out of the Spring season and into the Summer season with liable landmines likely to be set off as we come into the Summer.

The week begins with us taking care of what needs to be done and looking to play nice with everyone. We may be cleaning house, fixing things up and preparing for summer family adventures.

Mercury in Cancer triggers a Water Grand Trine with Mercury trine Jupiter on Tuesday and Mercury trine Neptune on Wednesday. We can be feeling at the top of our game in the early part of the week with a sense that all is right in our world, while perhaps not the world-at-large but everything okay in our personal realm.

Things get testy later in the week as we step into the Summer season. Relationships might be dicey with a tug-of-war between personal interests and the interests of someone else. Collaboration is called for rather than getting stuck in a rigid position of inflexibility

The weekend can have us dealing with commitments made while champing at the bit to do our own thing spontaneously and impulsively. Saturday might feel as though we are being pilloried between pillar and post, but Sunday offers us a ‘time out’ when we can escape into our private world.

Monday, June 18th – Get It Done – Lunar Grand Trine, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune retrograde. Monday has the Moon entering Virgo and triggering an Earth Grand Trine with the Moon trine Uranus in Taurus and the Moon trine Saturn in Capricorn. This can be a highly effective day. If we would keep nose to grindstone, we can accomplish a great deal and do so by means of utilizing new tools to take care of our routine matters. This Monday allows us to deal with the big picture and also the specific details that go into creating the whole. Nothing is likely to fall between the cracks, and our time management skills may seem flawless. The more we can attend to today with its expeditious process, the less we have to contend with later in the week. We could virtually move mountains today and more so by winching rather than the grunt and groan of our brawn. It is important that we not get distracted or moody. It would be better to suspend judgment, avoid getting emotional and have a checklist of what we wish to accomplish. We can get more done today than most days, and it sets us up for two pleasant days on Tuesday and Wednesday. Late in the day as Neptune turns retrograde, we might start second guessing ourselves. Why go there? Today is not a day to question ‘what’s it all about?’ but rather a day to hunker down and get it done.

Tuesday, June 19th – At the Top of Our Game – Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto. Triggered by a highly productive day yesterday, this Tuesday can have us continuing our success cycle. The Moon continues its transit of Virgo with the Moon today sextile Mercury, the Moon sextile Jupiter, the Moon opposed Neptune and the Moon trine Pluto. Mercury trines Jupiter and triggers a Water Grand Trine with the Mercury in Cancer trine Jupiter in Scorpio today, followed tomorrow by Mercury trine Neptune in Pisces. We can be optimistic, confident and enthusiastic to virtually move mountains. Although feeling at the top of our game, it is important that we not get distracted from the truly important involvements. We might feel that we can accomplish any number of things, but it would be wise to prioritize our activities and focus on the truly meaningful. Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday can be a highly productive period when we can achieve many successful results. We may discover that attitude is a large measure of our success. Being upbeat and self-assured goes a long way towards realizing our goals.

Wednesday, June 20th – Smarter Not Harder – Sun, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Neptune. Wednesday starts the day with the Moon finishing its transit of Virgo and before exiting Virgo the Moon squares the Sun. The Moon then moves into Libra where later today the Moon squares Saturn and the Moon sextiles Venus. Mercury completes its Water Grand Trine with Mercury trine Neptune following up yesterday’s Mercury trine Jupiter. While we might feel that we have been going nonstop over the past few days dealing with our mundane affairs and would prefer stepping off the track and doing whatever catches our fancy, this Wednesday is a day to tie up loose ends, address outstanding matters and bring unresolved issues to completion. Our intuitive sense can be spot on today with the ability to sense and feel the right maneuvers with us capable of putting all the pieces neatly together. We may seek out someone who can add an important ingredient to our efforts, someone with whom we can collaborate and achieve outstanding results. These first three days of this week could have us operating at our optimum, utilizing our foresight and employing expeditious means to get a great deal done.

Thursday, June 21st – Here Comes Summer – Mars, Lunar T-Square, Mercury, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Summer Solstice, Sun Cancer. The Moon continues its transit through Libra with the Moon today trine Mars and the Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Libra Moon square Mercury in Cancer and the Moon square Pluto in Capricorn. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course late in the day for over seventeen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio on Friday afternoon. Venus opposes Mars, and the Sun exits Gemini to enter Cancer at the Summer Solstice to officially begin the Summer season. The first three days of this week may have been highly productive and effective in getting a great deal done, and we might have that same force of energy as we begin this Thursday. Although we are interested in what is going on with other people and possibly looking to aid or garner the support of someone, we could find our relationships slightly dicey on this Thursday. Not everyone may be on the same page. We could be prey to passive aggressive behavior, for people may not be communicating everything that is going on with them or how they are feeling about things. This is a day to tread lightly and to be certain to put the horse before the cart. While communications earlier this week could have been with people on the same wavelength, even to the point of telepathic understanding, Thursday conversations might be muted, and we could have difficulty getting to the heart of any matter with someone. Although we might prefer collaboration today, let’s not accommodate in a tug-of-war whereby we just give in to other people’s desires just to maintain peace. Clarity is essential, for if things are not discussed openly, they could simmer below the surface until the weekend when the percolating resentment might come forth in explosive comments.

Friday, June 22nd – At What Cost – Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Uranus. Friday finishes the Moon’s transit of Libra and as it does so the Moon is Void-of-Course with the Moon making no connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio later on this Friday. The Scorpio Moon today trines the Sun and opposes Uranus. While this day is the 22nd, and numerologically the master number of the master builder, we might find the day breaks down into a four with the necessity of repair work today. If relationships got dicey yesterday, either we can address the issues today in order to clear the air or we might continue to harbor upsets and just withdraw from engagement. It would be far better for us to address any grievances rather than allow them to build up into major issues. Even if we have plans with other people for this day, our tendency might be to change our plans and take in some alone time for ourselves. Let’s be careful with our expenditures today. Nursing any hurt, we could seek to salve our pain by impulse purchases and spending more than would be prudent. We could mimic the flippant statement that ‘when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping’.

Saturday, June 23rd – Clearing the Air – Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Sun, Uranus, Mercury, Pluto. Late Friday through mid-day Saturday could prove dicey thanks to the Scorpio Moon and its aspects to the planets. Saturday begins with the Moon sextile Saturn. The Moon then triggers a Fixed Sign T-Square with the Moon square Mars in Aquarius and the Moon square Venus in Leo. Later in the day, the Moon conjuncts Jupiter and the Moon trines Neptune. The Sun sextiles Uranus, and Mercury opposes Pluto. If we have been holding in any frustration or anger, we might find ourselves venting early on this Saturday. We could be in a sense of overwhelm and willing to throw out everything and everyone. We have to tread lightly on this day, for discussions could turn into arguments and things said in the heat of the moment that would be better left unsaid or said in a more temperate tone. But temperance on this Saturday may lacking… until we clear the air. Like a volcanic eruption, once the explosions have occurred, things can turn to calm. The late day and evening hours are far more pleasing. Generosity and going out of our way can replace any belligerence or overbearing attitudes from earlier in the day. If we would recognize that we live in a world of cycles, times of stress and times of harmony, we could mitigate the intense energies of the morning hours with the recognition and appreciation that the water may be stilled later in the day and things can turn to a more pleasant and endearing quality.

Sunday, June 24th – Comforts of Home – Pluto, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Sunday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon today sextile Pluto and the Moon trine Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for fourteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius early on Monday morning. We can put things in place early in the day, attend to any important matters and take care of routine Sunday affairs. After a thrust of energy early in the day, we might choose to settle back and take quiet time for ourselves. Whether we stay at home, rest and relax, or we go out and engage activities to re-create ourselves, this Sunday could be a ‘me’ day, a day when we look to catch our breath, just take down time and enjoy the pleasantries of the simple life. While the early part of the week may have had us operating on all cylinders with everything seeming to operate smoothly, the latter part of the week into the weekend might have been fraught with intensities. This Sunday can truly embrace the sentiment of a ‘day of rest’.
