May 28th – June 3rd, 2018

The astrology for this week of May 28th through June 3rd of 2018 could have us feeling like we are sauntering through paradise. We just have to be certain that we have not entered a fool’s paradise.

The week begins in the US with the end of the Memorial Day long holiday weekend and the unofficial start to the summer season. We may be feeling upbeat and focused more on grabbing all the gusto during this summer season rather than a concentrated attention on what is strictly right in front of us.

No matter what seems to be going on in the world-at-large, we can be oblivious to mundane reality as we seek out the sampling of the smorgasbord of vast ideas and intriguing matters far beyond our daily involvements.

The Sagittarius Full Moon with a Grand Trine in the Water Element highlights the early part of the week. Our sensitivity may be ratcheted up severalfold and with a ‘feel good’ sense that everything does truly work out in the end.

No parade rainers for us during this week. The appreciation of the summer season with its promise of outdoor activities, fun events, pleasurable excursions and upbeat reunions can be intoxicating, especially in the forethought of things to come.

There seem to be few bumps in this week’s journey. On the contrary with our focus more on expanding our interests and having good times with good friends we may see little that can bring us down. Any upsets, whether in our personal world or in the collective society, might seem merely like static, like an irritating buzz that we can block from our consciousness.

We may have certain obligations to address towards the latter part of the week, but those tasks at hand may be to tie up loose ends and get things out of our way prior to an upbeat and fully enjoyable weekend.

With warming weather and nature at its late Spring crispness, we could use the weekend to engage friends, family and new connections. We may wish to broaden our social circle and spread our wings. Romance can be in the air, as we value more our interactions with other people and less our concerns about our daily process.

This is a week to savor and enjoy the beauties and blessings in our life. As idyllic as this week might seem to be, it would be wise to keep in mind the cycles and phases in life. We don’t live a two-dimensional, straight-line life, but rather a four-dimensional life of wave-like actions with its crests and troughs, its ups and downs. We can be riding the crests this week, but it would be wise to be alert and mindful to the reality of life’s flows and ebbs.

Monday, May 28th – Memories – Pluto, Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. The week begins in the US with Memorial Day and the last day of the long holiday weekend that is often considered the unofficial start to the summer season. The week begins with the Scorpio Moon sextile Pluto and the Moon opposed Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon moves into Sagittarius late in the day. Whether we get together with family and / or friends or we spend time at home on our springtime projects, some of this day could have us taking a mental walk down Memory Lane as we recall past holidays, past reunions and people who have passed. This day evokes reflections and contemplations even if only on a subconscious level as we seek out fun events and summertime activities. We do have to be wary not to dredge up issues that could provoke confrontation. People’s levels of anxiety and concern now are an undercurrent that can trigger angry discussions and heated arguments. Let’s keep in mind the lyric from the Buffalo Springfield’s For What It’s Worth: “Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong”. This Monday may be intense with tendencies for extremes, but the day lightens up as we come into the evening hours.

Tuesday, May 29th – Light of the Moon – Mars, Sagittarius Full Moon, Sun, Mercury Gemini. Tuesday has the Sagittarius Moon sextile Mars and the Moon opposed the Sun at the Full Moon. Mercury exits Taurus to enter its own Sign of Gemini. We may be considering how best to expand our activities, spread our wings and engage our future endeavors. We can be feeling upbeat especially since our mind could be racing with a kaleidoscope of various ideas and proposals for what we might engage. Nothing is out of the question for us on this Tuesday. We may not have the template of how to accomplish certain things, but there is no dearth to the myriad of possibilities that we are likely to take into account. This is a day when our confidence may know no bounds. Even if we got burned yesterday by differing opinions, today we are less concerned about what is going on with other people or in the world but rather more attentive to ourselves and what we want to do. Conversations can be far more light and airy today compared to yesterday, since people may be less concerned about winning their point or quite so rigid in their beliefs. This is a day for us to lighten up, look to the far horizons and beyond, and be confident that the master plan for our life is unfolding according to its own unique and individual trajectory.

Wednesday, May 30th – Waiting and Hoping – Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. After yesterday’s mental parade of illimitable possibilities, Wednesday could have us slightly anxious wondering whether some of our greatest hopes and wishes can actually come true. The Sagittarius Moon squares Neptune in the early morning hours before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for twenty-seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes it transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn early on Thursday morning. After a burst of energy yesterday with a sense of all things being possible, early Wednesday could have us in an Eeyore funk where we see the half glass of water no longer half full but rather half empty. Anxieties and concerns can become paralytic, and we have to watch that we don’t give into our fears. It would be wise for us to keep in mind that we are in a paradigm shift, a cultural transformation from our believing that we are truly in control of situations into a recognition that we are co-creators with the natural unfolding of our life’s pathways. Immediate gratification can be seductive but often unrealistic. Just because things aren’t happening immediately, we should not give up our hope for our wishes.

Thursday, May 31st – Smarter Not Harder – Uranus, Saturn. Yesterday had the Moon Void-of-Course the entire day. We could have been pacing the floor waiting for something, anything, to get us going. Early on this Thursday, the Moon moves into Capricorn where today the Moon trines Uranus to start the day and the Moon conjuncts Saturn at the end of the day. Every journey begins with a first step, and we might take a first step today into a new trajectory. Even if we continue to pursue old interests, we are likely to add an interesting twist to our methods. This is one of those days when we start off in a certain direction only to find that sideway trajectories are where the true gold lies. Let’s be open to the unexpected and surprises that could alter our day’s schedule. The day may start off in some rather interesting ways, and the evening hours would allow us to nail down the true template of our new trajectories or get us back on track after a day of fascinating explorations. Thursday could have us engaging the new and blending it with our experience and expertise. Old and new may work magically together on this Thursday.

Friday, June 1st – Kites Are Fun – Jupiter, Venus, Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Mars. Friday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today sextile Jupiter in Scorpio, the Moon opposed Venus, the Moon sextile Neptune in Pisces, and the Moon conjunct Pluto. At the end of the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for eighteen and a half hours as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn without making any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Aquarius later on Saturday. Mercury trines Mars, and Venus trines Jupiter. Today and tomorrow, Venus triggers a Water Grand Trine with Venus in Cancer trine Jupiter in Scorpio today, and Venus trine Neptune in Pisces tomorrow. Taking into account the orb of influence, Venus today triggers not only a Grand Trine but also a kite type of chart with the Grand Trine and Venus opposed the Moon with the Moon sextile to both Jupiter and Neptune. The Moon in Capricorn also triggers a Capricorn Stellium with Saturn and Pluto also in the Cardinal Earth Sign. This Friday can be one powerful day. Our emotions can be ratcheted up severalfold, and we might be looking at taking care of necessary responsibilities before we begin the weekend and also giving thought to get-togethers with family and friends. If we can be focused and attentive to what needs to get done, we can cover any number of bases on this Friday. This day is a day when we might truly feel the Force to be with us. Let’s not allow our emotions to get the better of us, but this is in deed a day when we can have our head in the clouds and our feet firmly planted on the ground. Kites are fun!

Saturday, June 2nd – Sense of Well Being – Moon Void-of-Course, Uranus, Venus, Neptune. The Void-of-Course Moon in Capricorn that started late last night continues on through much of this day as the Capricorn Moon makes no connections to the planets before the Moon enters Aquarius late in the day where in the late day the Aquarius Moon squares Uranus. Venus completes its Water Grand Trine with Venus trine Neptune. We might have various specifics to address this day, errands that our demanding our attention. Nonetheless, this day is geared to idyllic feelings towards our relationships. Any social engagements today can be highly pleasant. People may seem to sparkle, and this weekend from Friday through Sunday could be incredibly pleasant times for reunions or celebrations. We may have tasks to attend to, but we can do so effectively without our responsibilities getting in the way of a highly pleasant weekend. The one caveat to this weekend is for us to avoid extravagance. We can be overly generous in our expressions, whether our communications or our gifting. Let’s enjoy the beauty and simplicity of our friendships and interactions with other people.

Sunday, June 3rd – Expressions of Appreciation – Mars, Mercury, Sun. Sunday is the last day of a highly pleasant three-day weekend. The weekend may have started early with the pleasantries of Friday and likely to have continued on through yesterday and into this Sunday, where today the Aquarius Moon conjuncts Mars, the Moon trines both Mercury and the Sun. Our mind can be racing with all sorts of thoughts of future proposals and fun social gatherings. This is a day when people are feeling upbeat with the promise of a bright future and willing to express an upbeat attitude towards life. The month of June is often referred to as a month of weddings, and this weekend can have us participating in various celebrations and reunions. Graduations, reunions, weddings and informal gatherings can highlight this weekend and cast a brilliant hue over the proceedings and the interactions with the people gathered in celebration. This weekend is a wonderful time to bring closure to what may have proven to be a week when we walked on the sunny side of the street. Let’s just keep in mind the flows and ebbs of life, times when everything seems to be right, other times that could prove more challenging. This week is on the sunny and bright side.
