The astrology for this week of October 2nd through the 8th can be a time of in-depth connections and of opportunities to express ourselves creatively.
We have a thrust of energy as we start the week with someone enthusiastically urging us on. If we don’t trip up from self-consciousness or by questioning our ability, we can make great progress as we begin this week. No naysayers for us, please. On the contrary, let’s surround ourselves with those people who advocate for us and with situations where we can make our mark and prove our worth.
There may be times when we question our abilities and feel hopeless in the face of adverse conditions. We all may go there at some time or another, but this week is not a time for us to do so. On the contrary, we can take great strides with some of our greatest ambitions. Our present is not a clear reflection of our past. We have grown, developed and hopefully learned our lessons that past experience offered us. We do not have to be hampered by past experiences but rather can move on from them as but trace memories.
The mid-week period allows us to initiate new projects, and especially those that allow us to put our imprint on their development.
The Aries Full Moon on Thursday is the Harvest Moon. Not only can we reap what we have sown previously. We can also use this thrust of energy to determine our intention for this autumn season.
We might feel a push-pull between our own personal interests and those of someone else. Instead of a tug-of-war, it would be wise to seek collaboration both on our projects and any assistance we can offer on their projects.
The end of the week and over the weekend provide the opportunity of putting spirit into action. The weekend can be a highly productive time when we just might discover a talent of ours to virtually move mountains. We just have to be wary that either an earlier situation or someone who continues to see us by a past definition developed from experience doesn’t trip us up.
This is a week when we can line our ducks up in a row, consider both the big picture and the specifics that make up the big picture, and then move confidently ahead step-by-step.
Monday, October 2nd – Great Intent Without Limiting Possibilities – Uranus, Jupiter. The early morning hours of Monday has the Aquarius Moon sextile Uranus and the Moon trine Jupiter. The Moon then goes into Pisces but the Pisces Moon makes no connections to the planets today. We can get a head of wind as we start the week. We might be champing at the bit to get on with things, make our mark on our world and all with the encouragement of someone dear to us. As the day progresses, the energy may die down. We might feel as though we are waiting for something to happen, all the while that we are feeling closure to some of our previous efforts. We can be gung-ho in starting the day, looking to engage the new and the different and then lose our impetus with a sense of relying upon the natural unfolding. Let’s keep in mind that both astrology and life itself are all about timing. We may have pushed forward out of the gate this AM and then gone into cruise control as the day proceeds. There’s nothing wrong with cruise control as long as we have headed in the right direction.
Tuesday, October 3rd – Right Tools, Right Assistance – Neptune, Pluto, Venus, Mars. Tuesday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Moon today conjunct Neptune, the Moon sextile Pluto, and the Moon opposed both Venus and Mars. Venus trines Pluto. This Tuesday may either be highly productive or deeply dysfunctional. On the plus side, we could blend our intuitive sense with our analytical mind and create a winning combination whereby we can envision what we wish to achieve and have all the necessary pieces in mind. Nothing need fall between the cracks today. We would have to trust our instincts and be ready to move mountains easily and expeditiously for this day to work out effectively. On the negative side, we could get moody, lost in a world of worry and be our own worst enemy by either jumping the gun or glossing over important details. It’s a question of how we choose to work with the energies — always our choice. With the right plans, the right tools and the right strategy, we could gain any necessary assistance to achieve successful results. Let’s accept the challenge and not fall prey to anxieties or distractions that would take our eye off our intended goals.
Wednesday, October 4th – Tripped Up – Saturn, Moon Void-of-Course. Yesterday was a case of either or. Either we were highly accomplished and got a great amount done, or we fell into a moody, reactive, even victimized mode. Hopefully, we went for the former. This Wednesday creates some stumbling blocks. The Pisces Moon squares Saturn in the beginning of the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost thirteen and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries later in the day. Whether we were positive or negative thanks to yesterday’s energies, outstanding matters may force us to address them as we start this Wednesday. Even if we have great plans for this Wednesday, our forward progress could be blocked by unresolved issues. Wednesday is best served in tying up loose ends, getting rid of the extraneous and clearing the deck. Pisces is the last Sign of the Zodiac. Tomorrow gives us the Aries Full Moon. We are ending a thirty-day transit of the Moon through the Zodiac and beginning a new one, and the Full Moon in Aries gives greater impetus to our creative self-expression and a desire to find a better way for ourselves.
Thursday, October 5th- All Together Now – Aries Full Moon, Lunar T-Square, Mercury, Sun, Pluto, Venus, Mars. Thursday has the Aries Full Moon with the Aries Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square with the Aries Moon opposed both the Sun and Mercury in Libra and the Moon square Pluto in Capricorn. Venus conjuncts Mars. We might be in hyper-drive on this Thursday. We may want to put our mark upon new projects and especially those projects that allow us to express our creativity. With the thrust of energy today, we might seem like a raging bull. If we don’t get distracted by shiny or illusory objects, then we can blend a forceful approach with appropriate charm. This Thursday we can have it all together. We are not looking at stepping on anyone’s toes. On the contrary, if we could get people to join our parade we would be more than willing and grateful for their support. It will be important that people realize that it is our parade. Even if we join with someone in collaboration, we are primarily interested in doing our own thing with or without assistance and within or stretching beyond accepted parameters. This is one high energy day and a good time for us to focus on what we wish to pursue that provides us with a strong creative outlet.
Friday, October 6th – Going My Way – Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter. This Friday is all about taking care of what we need to do, considering future involvements, and expanding our reach. The day begins with the Aries Moon trine Saturn. As the day proceeds, the Moon conjuncts Uranus and later in the day the Moon opposes Jupiter just prior to the Moon exiting Aries to enter Taurus. If we would tie up loose ends in the morning hours, clean things up and clear things out, the midday could find us exploring new trajectories. Once we deal with any pressing matters, we can investigate and consider new options and alternatives for ourselves. By creating free time for ourselves, we might be more spontaneous, even impulsive, trying this, trying that, with no compunction about what we should be doing. The latter part of the day may see a relationship getting dicey, as though a tug-of-war is engaged as both individuals assert their own personal interests with little regard for the other person’s interests. Any upsets can be resolved by compromise and diplomacy. We might want to do what we want to do, and there is a time and place for that. On this Friday, that time might have been the afternoon hours, while the evening may call for a social engagement. We end the day with the Moon moving into Taurus for a weekend of practical application of new endeavors.
Saturday, October 7th – Go Slow – Neptune. Much of this week might have had us moving mountains, shaking things up, and going between old matters and new interests. This Saturday seems more like a day of rest or just enjoying ourselves. The Taurus Moon today sextiles Neptune. We might not feel pressured to do much of anything today. On the contrary, we may use this day to feather our nest, chill out or go shopping to purchase some fine addition to our lives. We could use this day as a personal makeover day, whereby our interest is in creating certain impressions to our image. We are far more concerned about how things make us feel and less focused on whether they make rational sense. We might allow ourselves certain indulgences today, and why not? What we do have to be wary of is buying into the concept that ‘more is better’. There can be a liability to excess and with it a tendency to step into la-la-land where we assume that whatever we want and the way that we want it are our due without any negative ramifications. Nice concept but perhaps not realistic. It would be wise to loosen the reins on ourselves, embrace fun events and good times, but all with a watchful eye to our budget and our waistline.
Sunday, October 8th – Back At It – Lunar Grand Trine, Pluto, Mars, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Sun, Mercury. We often accept the age-old concept that Sunday is our day of rest. In our present day world, such a belief does not always hold true and that might just be the case for this week. It would have been far better to have given ourselves Saturday as a day of ‘down time’ rather than this Sunday. This Sunday can be a highly active and a fully productive day, if we are willing to plan out our day and concentrate on what we wish to accomplish, both on the short-term and for the long-term. The early morning hours of this Sunday has the Taurus Moon triggering an Earth Grand Trine as the Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn and the Moon trines Mars and Venus, both in Virgo. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for twelve hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini late in the day. Venus squares Saturn, and the Sun conjuncts Mercury on this Sunday. By concentrating on our goals and ambitions, we could virtually move mountains on this Sunday. Whether we are hands-on or choose to strategize and blueprint the means to achieve successful results, this Sunday is a highly effective and productive day. We may find that we could get tripped up by commitments made some time before and by matters once thought resolved that now demand our attention. Even if things get in our way today, let’s do what needs to be done and then return to what we wish to achieve. We can accomplish a great deal today, perhaps concluding some short-term plans and making great headway in our long-term ambitions. Even if social commitments or outstanding matters get in our way, we could find some welcome assistance from someone who sees our passion and perseverance. This Sunday allows us great progress and with admiration from someone for our efforts.
