The astrology for this week of October 23rd through the 29th of 2017 gives us the ability to be adept and adaptable to everything that is going on.
The week begins with the Sun just moving into Scorpio and creating a Stellium of three planets in the Fixed Water Sign as the Sun joins Mercury and Jupiter in Scorpio. There is a great deal of Water and emotion this week, and combined with a certain earthiness, we can get things accomplished more by wit than by brawn.
We could be highly effective this week as long as we trust our instincts and acknowledge our inner knowing about what is really going on.
While we might begin the week wanting to expand our interests and broaden our activities, we are likely to be highly selective regarding where we place our energy. We may have to deal with certain matters before we can open the floodgates of exploring new realms. By getting necessary matters out of the way, such matters will not taint our consideration of the new and the different.
Our intuitive sense may be highly attuned and we might choose to do things on impulse during the mid-part of the week. Not only can we branch out into new interests, we could do so without so much as breaking a sweat.
The weekend may be a little dicey. We would far prefer good times with good friends, but we might question who are true and reliable friends and who might just be narcissistic connections that want what they want with little interest in collaboration or consideration of someone else’s concerns. If we can do something out of the ordinary over the weekend, it could allow us to let off some steam before our exploding.
Pick and choose seems to be the flavor of this week.
Monday, October 23rd – All In – Venus, Neptune, Sun Scorpio. Monday begins the week with the Sagittarius Moon with the Moon today sextile Venus and the Moon square Neptune. Late on Sunday, early Monday, the Sun exits Libra to enter Scorpio and triggers a Stellium of three planets in Scorpio as the Sun joins Mercury and Jupiter in the Fixed Water Sign. This Monday is a day when we can be expanding our activities and focus on new projects with the encouragement of a special friend. We do have to be certain that we have done our due diligence, considered all the specifics and taken into account the ramifications of our actions. Let’s be careful that we don’t let our own enthusiasm and someone else’s encouragement blind us to any downside of our decisions. Whatever we put our mind to on this Monday, once committed, we are likely to be all in, put on our blinders and push forward with little evaluation or critiquing as we go. We may have the passion and determination to move mountains today, but we should ask ourselves whether that would be the best use of our energy.
Tuesday, October 24th – Antennae Up – Saturn, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Mercury, Neptune. Tuesday starts with the Sagittarius Moon conjunct Saturn. The Moon then trines Uranus before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for seven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon moves into Capricorn late in the day where today the Capricorn Moon squares Mars. Mercury trines Neptune. There are often times when we just put one foot in front of the other, doing the same thing day in and day out. It can feel as though we are in a confusing maze without ever getting to our center or even moving ahead, just going around in circles. Tuesday might begin with us tripped up by old issues or outstanding matters. Our energy might not be the greatest as we start this day, for we could feel as though routine life has dampened our vibrancy. Let’s keep in mind that we are on the threshold of a paradigm shift, a major transition from life being a sequential progression of beginning, middle and end and moving into an asequential reality where things can occur in a most unexpected manner. We might feel locked into narrow parameters as we begin this Tuesday, but around early afternoon we could be privy to some interesting and surprising news or an unexpected happening. This is a day for us to think outside the box, act spontaneously and trust our inner instincts. Our intuitive sense may be heightened and when life offers us a surprising opportunity, it would be wise for us to take advantage and not overly question whether we deserve it or why it has come to the forefront of our experience. Like the Nike slogan suggests, there are times when we need to ‘just do it’.
Wednesday, October 25th – All in Place – Sun, Jupiter, Neptune. Wednesday has the Capricorn Moon sextile the Sun and Jupiter both in Scorpio and the Moon sextile Neptune in Pisces. We can be highly effective on this Wednesday, resourceful and with no excess. This is a day when everything seems to fit neatly together. We can be productive, taking care of essential matters and feeling guided in what we take on. Our compassion may be engaged and if we could make things easier for someone, we are likely to do so. We might feel as though we have a reserve of power and can virtually move mountains. In making things happen today, we are likely to embrace a ‘less is more’ concept, both in our exertion and in our methodology. This is a day when we can draw upon our foresight, take a practical approach and find the most expeditious means to accomplish our goals.
Thursday, October 26th- All Powerful Me – Mercury, Venus, Pluto, Sun, Jupiter. Thursday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today sextile Mercury, the Moon square Venus and the Moon conjunct Pluto. The Sun conjuncts Jupiter. Following up on Wednesday’s energy, this Thursday allows us to be highly productive and successful in advancing our interests. We may keep our cards close to our chest, our head down, and move our goals closer to realization. We can feel confident and optimistic about what we are doing and unwilling to brook any interference. This is a day when we might feel that we know it all and don’t want anyone’s opinions or suggestions. While enthusiastic and exuberant, we do have to be careful that we aren’t putting ourselves in a fool’s paradise. While we could have been highly resourceful yesterday, this Thursday is a day when we could bet the ranch and put all our chips on the table. Moderation is called for on this Thursday, but the liability is more to excess. Today would be a good day to budget our times, our finances and all our resources, for otherwise we might get carried away by a sense of the ‘all powerful me’.
Friday, October 27th – Dance to the Music, Pay to the Piper – Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, Sun, Venus, Pluto, Mercury. Friday starts with the Capricorn Moon square Uranus early in the day. The Moon then moves into Aquarius where today the Aquarius Moon trines Mars and the Moon squares both Jupiter and the Sun both in Scorpio. Venus squares Pluto and Mercury sextiles Pluto. Wednesday and Thursday could have been highly productive days, if we didn’t overdo. ‘Moderation in all things’ is a concept that seems lost nowadays when we seem more liable to go from extreme to extreme. Thursday could have had a tendency towards excess, with us putting on blinders and forging ahead no matter what came our way. If we went full bore yesterday, we might have to deal with the repercussions on this Friday. Some of our greatest hopes and wishes might have to be winnowed down. Interactions with other people could prove dicey, especially if anyone wants to mouth the words ‘I told you so’. We might have been so self-involved on Thursday that we didn’t heed or even see the warning signs along the way. Friday could have us backing up, reworking and rethinking what we have engaged. Even if we went full in, or our expenses were greater than imagined, by seriously considering our situation we can devise the best steps for remediation and moving forward.
Saturday, October 28th – Good Friend – Venus, Mercury. This weekend is geared to good times with a good friend[s]. The Aquarius Moon trines Venus and the Moon squares Mercury. Much of the energy of this day is more during the evening hours than during the day. If we can use this Saturday to be spontaneous and impulsive, we might find that we are involving ourselves with some fun autumnal events all the while that we are airing ourselves out. The intensity of these times calls for us stepping off the track occasionally, doing something that excites us and which we find to be fun, and incorporating ways to let off steam. We may feel as if we were volcanoes with a great deal of fury operating below the surface. It is far better for us to vent our frustrations, let off steam, in a periodic release by means of getting out of our ordinary mundane routine and doing something on the spur-of-the-moment. Such releases could prevent major blow-ups and explosions. Today is a day for release, even to the point of roaming around heaven, or what passes for it on this earthly realm, all day. The energy of this day ramps up during the evening hours. We may engage a social occasion, but we do need to watch our tongue. If people haven’t taken advantage of enjoying themselves during the day, they could be bombastic and caustic in their discussions in the evening hours with an attitude of ‘my way or the highway’. Why go there when a little release can help us hold our tongue or play nice in the evening hours?
Sunday, October 29th – Sunday in the Park – Saturn, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. This weekend offers us ‘down time’, time when we can do whatever we choose to do with little pressure and a willingness to let go of previously planned engagements. Yesterday may have had us exploring the four corners of the world, even if that world were just in our closest environs. This Sunday continues with a desire to do something other than our ordinary. The Aquarius Moon today sextiles Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon sextiules Uranus in Aries. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost seven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces late in the day. If our plans for this day are to get out of Dodge, then we are likely to be fully in synch with the energies today. And if our travels include someone else, we could be even happier. We don’t want to be restricted or tied down today. We want to enjoy the camaraderie of someone as we both, or as a group, go off in search of ____ (a) buried treasure; (b) new worlds; (c) nature walks; (d) tantalizing discoveries; (e) great food… any or all of the above. We aren’t looking to put pressure on ourselves today, nor do we want to be pressured by anyone else. This day is better suited for us to have our antennae up, work with peripheral vision, and to be open to exciting and unexpected opportunities. This weekend can prove to be a relaxing, refreshing and reinvigorating two days. And we certainly could use it.
