The astrology for this week of September 11th through the 17th provides us with a great deal of energy but with a liability of burnout during the middle of the week.
The week begins with us in high gear, trying to cover many bases but glossing over the specifics. We are more interested in a wide palette of information but without much depth. And there lies the problem — a tendency towards a rush to judgment with too little information. While people are likely to pontificate, it would be wise that we check the source and check their agenda. As we start the week, people might give force to their words and opinions but with little except passion to back up their beliefs.
Even if we get muddled by the input we receive, we can straighten things out. We might have to go back over certain matters, rethink and rework some situations, but let’s keep in mind that Mercury turned direct last week and that we are still in the Mercury retrograde ‘shadow’ until the 19th. There may be issues we dealt with over the past month that need clarification or reconsideration. While our forward advance could be stalled by old issues, taking care of anything that needs to be addressed will allow us to clear away the obstacles and then to build upon rock rather than upon sand.
This is a time for us to lay down solid foundation stones of our daily involvements and give energy towards our creative self-expressive outlets. Whether we are back on track from our summer get-aways or planning to get back on track, this week is a good week for us to cover many bases — tying up loose ends of old, outstanding conditions so that the new engagements can sprout and grow.
The weekend is largely geared to fun activities. It is the last weekend of the official summer season, and we may choose one last blast to end the summer and bring in the autumn next week.
Monday, September 11th – Slogging Through – Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Mars. This week may be slow starting with the Taurus Moon being Void-of-Course for much of the day and the Moon making no connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini later in the day. This Monday can be a whipsaw day, a day when we start slowly, pick up the pieces and seem hampered by circumstances not of our making but still demanding our attention. As the Moon enters Gemini, the Moon squares both Mercury and Mars. From slogging through the debris of our lives, the energy shifts dramatically. We are likely to pick up the pace and juggle any number of activities. Unfortunately, while we might be able to keep everything going, our due diligence and focus on the particulars could be lacking. Let’s avoid trying to cover all bases, since our covering might not be sufficient and we could wind up making a mess for ourselves. We might have to strategize our action plan, keep a tight rein on our tongue and slow things down. The latter part of this day asks us to think before we act and to consider what we are saying or doing before we engage.
Tuesday, September 12th – Someone to Cut Through the Fog – Neptune, Venus, Saturn. Yesterday could have had us running around in circles like a dog chasing its tail. Tuesday can continue with some crazy-making antics as the Gemini Moon squares Neptune. Our thoughts can be cloudy or downright delusional. We might come up with nonsensical ideas, buy into the concept that what we imagine is true reality, and assume that everything will work out as we intend it. This is a day for us to measure our thoughts from a detached perspective. Fortunately, we do have Venus trine Saturn. Someone could help us see the light or, at the least, be an impartial observer to some of our ideas. Whether we made a mess of things yesterday and continued on the wrong track today or not, drawing upon a trusted confidante would help us shed light on what is really going on. The level of anxiety and crazy-making conditions in the world-at-large may have gotten us off kilter. We might need someone who has a steadier grip on reality to dispel the anxiety-provoking circumstances and like a flashlight in the dark shine light upon our major concerns. Let’s keep in mind that the light always dispels the darkness.
Wednesday, September 13th – Wearing Ourselves Out – Lunar T-Square, Sun, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus. Wednesday could prove a rather exhausting day, especially if we choose to go it alone. This is a day when it would be far better to draw upon a good friend and trusted confidante who can encourage us. The day begins with the Gemini Moon triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square as the Moon squares the Sun in Virgo and the Moon opposes Saturn in Sagittarius. The Sun squares Saturn today. The Moon sextiles Venus, the Moon trines Jupiter, and the Moon sextiles Uranus. We might feel hamstrung by our obligations and our responsibilities. We may wish to fly free of our usual routine, but we could find ourselves immersed in what has to be done and questioning our ability to find a different way. With a half glass of water, our liability today is to see it half empty and draining. Fortunately, someone might suggest the half glass of water to be half full and filling. Any emotional malaise could be a result of burnout, trying to do too much without the sense of accomplishing much. We could easily get in our own way on this Wednesday, so it would be wise to draw upon someone’s enthusiasm to lift our spirits. We may not be confident and optimistic today, but someone could remind us as to how valuable and capable we actually are. Getting our rest can reenergize our batteries, and tomorrow is likely to shine brighter.
Thursday, September 14th – Back on Track – Mercury, Mars, Neptune, Pluto. Thursday has the Moon in Cancer with the Moon today sextile Mercury, the Moon sextile Mars, the Moon trine Neptune and the Moon opposed Pluto. We could awaken on this Thursday with a renewed vigor and with a focus on getting things together. We might have felt like the wind was knocked out of our sails yesterday, but today we could have the sense that the wind is to our back. We may start the day with a detailed plan of action. We might not feel the need to prove anything to anyone. We can hunker down and take things methodically step-by-step. As the day progresses, we could have a renewed sense that we truly are on the right track with what we are doing and how we are doing it. The liability to this day is gaining a head of steam to the point of feeling as though we could take on the world. If we overdo, overextend, then we might have a pushback. Let’s keep in mind the wise and true saying: ‘moderation in all things.’
Friday, September 15th – Pleasant Diversions – Sun, Lunar T-Square Jupiter, Uranus, Venus. Friday continues with the Cancer Moon with the Moon today sextile the Sun and the Moon triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square as the Cancer Moon squares Jupiter in Libra and the Moon squares Uranus in Aries. Venus sextiles Jupiter, and late in the day the Moon exits Cancer to enter Leo for the weekend. This is a day when our plans can shift and change due to someone suggesting something other than what we have scheduled for ourselves. If we can bring things to closure in the early morning hours, then we can fully embrace some pleasant diversion with someone later in the day. Although we could feel as though we are dancing to someone else’s tune rather than our own, their tune might turn out to be pleasant and engaging and fun, perhaps even better than what we may have come up with. The evening hours start off a great weekend when we might be feeling confident and good about ourselves and giving voice to our creative talents.
Saturday, September 16th – It’s All Fun – Mercury, Mars. Saturday continues with the Leo Moon, although the Moon makes no connections to the planets today. The Leo Moon does trigger by Sign a Fire Grand Trine, more in play tomorrow when the Leo Moon trines Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon trines Uranus in Aries. We are likely to feel the fire in our belly this weekend. This Saturday is a day for us to step onto center stage, do what we choose to do and not be shy about our abilities. The Leo Moon may give us a dramatic persona, accentuated by the Fire Grand Trine. We combine the fiery element with Mercury conjunct Mars both in Virgo, Virgo being the Mercury ruled Sign. Not only do we have style today. We can virtually move mountains. This is a day when we blend brain with brawn. We present ourselves in full regalia and we have the wherewithal to back up our appearance. Our mind is sharp and able to figure out all the intricacies in whatever we are doing. And we have the will power to make things happen. This can be a fun day when we involve ourselves with activities that allow us to spread our wings and express our well-considered opinions. We are likely to be feeling good, looking good, and mentally astute.
Sunday, September 17th – On a High – Jupiter, Venus, Lunar Grand Trine, Saturn, Uranus. This Sunday is a primo day when we might be feeling like we are riding the crest of a wave. We may be at the top of our game and operating at full potential. This upbeat energy might have been building over the weekend, gained greater thrust yesterday, but seems at full strength on this Sunday. The Leo Moon today conjuncts Venus, the Moon sextiles Jupiter and the Moon makes exact aspects to trigger the Grand Trine as the Leo Moon trines Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon trines Uranus in Aries. It’s hard to imagine energy configurations better than these. Not only are we playing to our strengths. We have people appreciative of our abilities and charisma. Old and new can blend easily together, and everything just fit neatly in a grand pattern. We can draw upon our experience but let’s work with peripheral vision, for some of our greatest moments on this Sunday could truly be serendipitous, reaffirming the magic and mini-miracles of these times. En joy!
