The astrology for this week of June 5th through the 11th can have us exploring the far reaches of our universe and feeling more together than we have felt for a long time.
The week begins with attention to sorting things out and straightening up. We want to be certain that everything is in its right place and presentable.
We have two major energy shifts in the early part of the week as two planets move into their own Signs. On Tuesday, Venus exits Aries, a Sign of its Detriment and where Venus is uncomfortable, and Venus moves into Taurus, a Sign that Venus rules. On the same day, Mercury exits Taurus to enter Gemini, a Sign that Mercury rules.
Looking good, feeling good, all with an increased tendency to engage as many different ideas, topics and activities that we possibly can could be the tenor of this week. We’re not interested in limitations, but rather we are looking to spread our wings and participate in new grand adventures. We may have the gift of gab, our mind might be racing, and we could entertain all sorts of possibilities.
The mid-week period on might have us traveling, literally or figuratively. Whether we actually go somewhere other than our home base, our intentions are to widen our reach and take in things that may be foreign to us.
The Full Moon on Friday highlights our desire to live the good life and to spend time with those special people in our lives. Jupiter turns direct on Friday ending its four-month retrograde cycle. Relationships with friends old and new can be points of contact that make us aware of future options we might never have had considered.
The weekend seems to accentuate getting our house in order, readying for our summer fun and putting away those reminders of the winter past.
Let’s keep in mind that we are under the influence of a Cardinal Grand Cross and a Mutable Sign T-Square. We may start various projects all with good intentions and then change course as some other thing grabs our attention. Follow through might be lacking, so this period of time might be more appropriate for playing the xylophone rather than the one note Samba. We may have various balls in the air and are likely to embrace the sentiment that ‘variety is the spice of life’.
Monday, June 5th – With a Certain Intensity – Uranus, Venus, Mars. We begin the week with the Libra Moon opposed both Uranus and Venus. The Moon then moves into Scorpio where today the Moon trines Mars. If we have to catch up with someone, let’s try to do so early in the morning of this Monday. We might have to help someone out, feel that their problems are getting in our way, but it would be best that we expeditiously deal with someone else’s issues without resentment. Let’s get it done and out of our way. Much of this day can have us sorting through, getting rid of extraneous matters and focused on doing what we feel we need to get done. We might want some alone time in order not to get distracted and to be able instead to concentrate on our own personal matters. If we put nose to grindstone and adjust blinders to our vision, then we can use our intensity and a narrow focus to accomplish a great deal today and clean out superfluous situations that might be mere distractions rather than necessary involvements.
Tuesday, June 6th – Getting in Synch – Neptune, Pluto, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Taurus, Mercury Gemini. Tuesday continues with the Scorpio Moon with the Moon today trine Neptune and the Moon sextile Pluto. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for twenty-two and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius late on Wednesday. Venus exits Aries to enter Taurus, a Sign that Venus rules. Mercury exits Taurus to enter Gemini, a Sign that Mercury rules. Drawing upon our intuitive sense, we can strategize a best practices approach to attend to the most significant and meaningful aspects of our lives. This Tuesday can be a primo day when we can be guided by an inner knowing and turn our attention to our greatest goals and dreams. Let’s keep in mind that we don’t have to do it all. The universe works. We are increasingly privy to the natural unfolding of asequential reality where things happen in a rather surprising manner and we find ourselves being in the right place at the right time. With these dramatic Sign shifts of Mercury and Venus, we might find that we are talking up a blue streak and presenting ourselves in a most put together manner. Not only can we devise a best practices approach to realize our ambitions. We can do so with convincing arguments and a pleasant presentation. We might be considering a personal makeover. Shopping could be on our list for us to polish our appearance and show ourselves off with elegant style.
Wednesday, June 7th – Slow Going – Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury. Wednesday starts off with the Void-of-Course Moon as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio without making any further connections to the planets. Later in the day, the Moon moves into Sagittarius where today the Moon opposes Mercury. With the thrust of new energy yesterday with the Sign changes of Mercury and Venus, we might be slow starting on this Wednesday. While Monday and Tuesday could have had us fast out of the starting gate and using effective energy to get a great deal done, Wednesday might find us more contemplative and reflective rather than active and forceful. Wednesday may be a day when we consider any loose ends that need to be resolved before we broaden our reach. Late in the day, our mind may be awash with all sorts of prospects, including travel plans and intentions to get out of Dodge. Although we could entertain all sorts of possibilities, we might be seeing them in abstract rather than detail. Such an impressionistic viewpoint can enthrall us, but we have to keep in mind that broad bush strokes need to be tweaked with the particulars and specifics, even if we wait to do so for another time.
Thursday June 8th – Considered Advice – Jupiter, Neptune. The Sagittarius Moon on this Thursday sextiles Jupiter and the Moon squares Neptune. If we are giving thought as to expanding our activities and broadening our scope, we might wish to use a trusted confidante as a sounding board. We could easily get carried away with our own enthusiasm, and we might miss some significant aspects of our proposed projects if we decide to trust solely our own instincts. We can be upbeat and feeling good about life and our plans, but let’s avoid wandering through a fool’s paradise. Due diligence and careful evaluation along with the detached perspective of someone else can help us determine whether to advance along certain trajectories or to fantasize about what could be without plunging fully into any new activity. Even in planning trips or vacations, we might consider drawing upon the experience and evaluations of other people more familiar with our proposed plans rather than going blindly in considering our choices and making our decisions.
Friday, June 9th – Up, Up, and Away – Sagittarius Full Moon, Sun, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter direct. Friday could be one action-packed day. We might have our head in the clouds, but we can keep our feet on the ground. Friday has the Sagittarius Full Moon with the Sagittarius Moon opposed the Sun and the Moon conjunct Saturn. Venus sextiles Mars and Jupiter turns direct. There can be a flurry of activity on this Friday. Whether we are heading off for the four corners of the world or just looking to get the weekend going, we can be highly spirited today. Nothing is too much for us, and we are interested in sharing our good humor and our good fortune with other people. This can be a day when we take the time for a personal makeover, whether the makeover is to our appearance, our wardrobe or our home environment. We are likely to be in an expansive mood, exuberant and enjoying the good life. This Friday can start a weekend with that special person or special people in our life. Let’s enjoy whatever we have planned, even if we feel that commitments are limiting our options. We might discover that we are finding greater comfort in those people we have known that we could be reconnecting with.
Saturday, June 10th – Get It Together – Uranus, Mars, Venus. Saturday begins with the Sagittarius Moon trine Uranus. The Moon then moves into Capricorn where today the Moon opposes Mars and the Moon trines Venus. We might have all sorts of plans for some grand adventure as we start this Saturday. Being Saturday, we may also have a list of our ‘to do’ errands and projects. Much of this day can be attending to our responsibilities and home matters. This Saturday can be a good time for us to catch up with anything that we might have postponed. The latter part of the day can have us primping and looking to present ourselves in our best light. Whether we have social commitments or just want to be out and about, the latter part of this day can provide some pleasant interludes that make us remember how good our life actually is.
Sunday, June 10th – Much on Our Plate – Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto. Sunday continues with the Capricorn Moon with the Moon today square Jupiter, the Moon sextile Neptune and the Moon conjunct Pluto. We might have various opportunities to go off and do things with someone or with friends. While different situations could prove tempting, let’s consider prioritizing our activities and focusing on those involvements that especially have meaning for us. We could easily get overwhelmed by the vast array of possibilities that are available to us today, and we need to whittle them down to a select few. Let’s not overdo on this Sunday. Instead, we might want to take the time to relax, regroup and recharge. Making plans for the week ahead would give us a head start on the week and allow us to consider the most important engagements and narrow our focus to those situations that would most likely advance our interests.
