The astrology for this week of May 29th through June 4th may prove fast-paced and a time when we might need to keep our wits about us.
The week begins in the US with Memorial Day and the last day of the Memorial Day weekend, the holiday weekend often considered the unofficial start to the summer season.
As we start the week, there can be a tendency, or liability, to be fast out of the gate with a desire to embrace all the summer fun possible. We may be fleet of foot, but we just have to watch where we are going. Any tendency to rush around could have us banging and crashing along our trajectory.
We are looking for good times in the early part of the week. We can observe various fun events, and we could engage outlets for our own creative self-expression. We can feel as though we have the energy and the resilience to scale mountains, ford rivers and journey on some grand adventure. We do have to watch for leaping before looking. We might be impetuous at the beginning of the week with us wanting to try any number of interesting involvements.
If we fail to stop our frenetic activity in order to reflect on our process and procedures, we could run ourselves ragged. With everything that we have taken on and with possible impediments in our way, we could feel on overwhelm, exhausted and depleted. We might also find that in our hurry to get things done, we have created for ourselves a house of cards, whereby our structure and the basics were lacking from the get-go.
Whether certain involvements crash and burn or are found to be shaky rather than strong, we can make repairs to the ways we are doing things and avoid all things falling down.
This end of May could prove a roller coaster of ups and downs, and the extremes of either would be aggravated by our rushing things without checking and evaluating as we go along.
Even if we have been knocked back a square or two early in the week, the mid-week opens us to streamlined methods and new trajectories that can cut the amount of time and exertion that we might have spent in largely spinning our wheels. The mid-week period allows us to slow things down, try things differently and with a greater concentration than the helter-skelter qualities we might have engaged to begin the week.
We can devise the plans and the means by which to build our projects on rock rather than on sand. Our mind is focused, and we are looking at how we can accomplish our goals by concentrating on the most expeditious means without glossing over essential details. Our mind may be laser-like at this time, able to cut to the core, see the skeleton of our intentions and then build solidly from there. Communications can be direct and to the point without condemning anyone or stepping on someone’s toes. We might seem detached but also committed to what we want to do with recognition of a best practices approach as to how to do it.
We end May on a high note, and we enter June feeling better about what we are doing and more confident in our abilities to achieve positive results.
The end of the week and the weekend can be pleasant with reunions and get-togethers and some surprising encounters. Reconnecting with people and planning for reunions during the month could be the topic of various conversations. We are looking for a blend of old and new, encompassing those significant people we have known with some fascinating, even quirky, people we might meet.
The weekend would be a good time for a personal makeover in preparation for planned social occasions. We want to look good, feel good and give off a good impression. We may be feeling at the top of our game. No matter what we are doing on this weekend, we might feel that we are in the right place at the right time. Similar to participating in a Mutual Admiration Society, our interactions with other people can be affirming, uplifting and just downright good fun. There can be some interesting meetings, serendipitous encounters as we are introduced to a person who engages us, embraces our uniqueness and puts our heart aflutter.
We end the week on Sunday with us feeling betwixt and between. We could have the sense that some of the past week has provided opportunities that seem just too good to be true. We might feel as though we have stepped out of our mundane reality to cavort on Mount Olympus with the various gods and goddesses. We may not want our ‘feel good’ attitude to end but we might also not trust its true reality. We could use this end of the week to hunker down in home base, wonder who we are and whether we had stepped out of our world into some Twilight Zone or Disney World. Perhaps we feel undeserving or believe that all the bumps along the way and the rocks in the road that we have traversed are the tenor of our life journey. Why believe it? Some times the upsets in our lives help us to change direction, shift our focus or provide a tweaking. As the slogan states: ‘Life is good’. Let’s make it a good week.
Monday, May 29th – Tripped Up – Uranus, Sun, Mars, Saturn. This Monday is Memorial Day in the US, the last day of the long holiday weekend that unofficially kicks off the summer season. Today, the Cancer Moon squares Uranus before the Moon exits Cancer to enter Leo where late in the day the Leo Moon sextiles the Sun. Mars opposes Saturn. If we felt that we were housebound this past weekend by staying home or going off with family and friends, this Monday unshackles the ties that bind. We are likely in the mood to throw wide the gates of pleasurable pursuits on this Monday and enjoy fun events or participate in our own form of creative self-expression. Although we may want to grab all the gusto we can, we have to be wary that we don’t try to do too much. The liability to impulsive and impetuous behavior could be strong, so it would be important for us not to rush around or take on more than we can handle. We might be accident-prone today. By slowing things down, being aware and mindful, we could avoid some nasty circumstances. There can be issues with movement today, with frustrating delays or impediments in our way. It would be wise for us to pull in the reins of our wanting to jump far ahead on this Monday. Let’s enjoy the day but with an appreciation that things might take longer than we would like. This is a day when we need to heed the admonition: ‘be careful out there’.
Tuesday, May 30th – Leaping Before Looking – Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus. There are times when our enthusiasm and exuberance could get the better of us, and this Tuesday might be one of those days. The Leo Moon today sextiles Jupiter and the Moon squares Mercury. Mars sextiles Uranus. With the instigation from someone we are close to, we could be in turbo-blast today with a desire to try out new things, do things differently and explore the far reaches of our world or some other dimension. Such striking forth with machete in hand to carve our own path would be all well and good, but where a problem may arise is our lack of forethought. We might prefer to dive right in without considering the parameters or the conditions. If we don’t plan out our day, our direction and our itinerary, we could launch forward confidently and forcefully but wind up like ‘wrong way’ Corrigan told to head in one direction and winding up somewhere completely different. While this day is a day of exploration, testing the waters and sampling various options and alternatives would be far better than making a long-term definite commitment. Something might seem incredibly appealing but what we see might not be what we get. Let’s use this day to consider all possibilities without dedicating ourselves to any one specific involvement. Today is a day when ‘variety is the spice of life.’
Wednesday, May 31st – Intention Plus Expeditious Means – Lunar Grand Trine, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Pluto. If we used yesterday to consider all options and alternatives open to us, and especially those that truly appealed to us, this Wednesday allows us to both get our passion up and the ability to advance our interests in the most effective and stream-lined methods. This Wednesday is an incredibly primo day, with some of the best energies possible as it complements both our own self-interests with a methodical application of a best practices approach. The day begins with the Leo Moon triggering a Fire Grand Trine as the Moon trines Venus and Uranus both in Aries, and the Moon trines Saturn in Sagittarius. The Moon sextiles Mars before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo. Mercury trines Pluto. This is a day when we can blend experience with innovation, focus on the truly significant and come up with a means to accomplish our goals. Not only are we feeling creative and inspired, but we are unlikely to jump the gun or rush ahead without considering in detail our strategy and a strategy that will lead us straight to the center to achieve success. We have the energy to move forward, the presence to impress and the mental acuity that cuts to the chase. This Wednesday is not a day to waste, for we can bring accolades to our self by our presentation both in appearance and the depth of our case.
Thursday, June 1st – Don’t Lose the Mojo – Lunar T-Square, Sun, Neptune, Pluto, Venus, Saturn. Thursday continues with the Virgo Moon with the Moon today triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square the Sun and the Moon opposed Neptune. Late in the day, the Moon trines Pluto. Venus trines Saturn. While Wednesday could have had us operating at our optimum and highly effective and successful with whatever we put our mind and effort to, we could also have been seduced by our own capabilities. Consequently, Thursday might have us thinking that everything will fit neatly together of its own accord. And that’s where we would be wrong. This is a day when we could be running around, dealing with our projects but glossing over the particulars and putting the wrong things in the wrong place. It would be wise for us to draw upon someone’s wise counsel, take seriously their suggestions and accept that we are not working at our best. Late in the day, we can get a grip on how things fit together. Let’s not wear ourselves out earlier in the day. We might choose plans to travel, and if we do so, let’s just be certain about the details and have someone check to be certain that we have covered all the bases. Things can fall between the cracks on this Thursday, although we can straighten things out late in the day with a little help from a friend.
Friday, June 2nd – Clear Thinking, Wrong Action – Mercury, Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Mars. We might become so self-enamored on Wednesday with our talents and abilities that we allowed ourselves a high level of screw-ups on Thursday and again today on Friday. Yesterday, we had a Mutable Sign T-Square and on this Friday we continue with a Mutable Sign T-Square, albeit with different players. The Virgo Moon triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square today with the Moon square Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon square Mars in Gemini. We might be trying to tie up loose ends and complete outstanding matters before the weekend. Our efforts unfortunately could also prove the validity to the old saying: ‘haste makes waste’. We might want to deal with a number of different situations but we could tend to do so in a rather haphazard manner. The day does begin with the Moon trine Mercury. If we would take the time to contemplate our day and plan our course of action before launching forward into the day, we might save ourselves a great deal of aggravation. But that’s a mighty big IF, and one that might we refuse to acknowledge in our haste to get going, get things done and get on with the weekend. This is a day when we need to slow down and not move too fast and be certain to take care of particulars in a meaningful manner rather than just glossing over things.
Saturday, June 3rd – Nothing Could Be Finer – Jupiter, Sun, Venus, Uranus. Wednesday was a primo day for getting things done and being productive. Saturday is a primo day for social gatherings and interactions with that special person, or those special people, in our life. The Moon in Libra today conjuncts Jupiter and the Moon trines the Sun. The Sun trines Jupiter and Venus conjuncts Uranus. This day has SPECIAL written all over it. There can be special occasions in which we are participating, serendipitous connections made, and we could be feeling at the top of our game. We are likely feeling confident, optimistic and exuberant. Everyone seems in a highly pleasant mood and embracing mutual admiration for each other, for everyone. Even if we have no plans on this Saturday, reaching out and connecting with someone can put a smile on their face and on our face. This is a day when unexpected situations can occur, wonderful surprises happening and fun events taking place. This is not one of those days when we have to force things but rather can just go along for the ride, and what a wonder-filled ride it might prove to be. Let’s breath in deeply the special moments of this Saturday, for whatever occurs today is likely to make us realize that life is good.
Sunday, June 4th – Pay to the Piper – Pluto, Saturn, Sun, Neptune, Mars Cancer. Yesterday might have been one of those days that reaffirm the blessings in our life and how good life can be. If yesterday was the dance, this Sunday is a day when we might have to pay the piper. The Libra moon today squares Pluto and the Moon sextiles Saturn. The Sun squares Neptune and Mars exits Gemini to enter Cancer. New adventures or a different perspective on life could have been part of yesterday’s romp through an idyllic playground. Today, not so much. We might feel as though our responsibilities and commitments are putting a damper on things and on us. We could also have had too good a time yesterday and this Sunday asks us to pay the price. Even if we got a glimpse yesterday into a far sunnier world than the one we occupy on a daily basis, we might have to step back into our normal reality today. We might feel confused, slightly out of step, and wondering why all of yesterday’s incredible sweets cannot be a daily ritual. Although we may be dazed, it would be suggested that we recognize that moments of wonder also give us the encouragement to solider on. Such brief interludes also provide us a sense that possibilities, even impossibilities, can become real. The beauty of yesterday could be seen in the ease of it all, much of it happening without our making it happen but on the contrary by our being in the right at the right time. As this Sunday progresses, we can realize that every journey begins with a first step and we might determine how we can more fully incorporate yesterday’s gaiety and the sense of wonder into our daily lives.
