Productivity and getting important things accomplished are the tenor of the astrology for this week of March 6th through the 12th.
We are still in the waxing Moon phase up to Sunday’s Virgo Full Moon. Let’s keep in mind the waxing Moon is the time of growth and development, and this disposition is accentuated this week with the ability to utilize our foresight and our focus to realize our dreams.
The week begins with our mind aflutter with all sorts of prospects, possibilities and the seemingly impossible. We may be more attentive to future plans than to our present responsibilities, but our obligations could rein us in and demand that we attend to them.
The early part of the week can have us seeking the safety and support of the familial and familiar. From our base camp, we can devise our strategy to implement our plans in a best practices approach. We might be buffeted by the cold, hard reality of today’s world, but we can make it through any maelstroms by drawing upon our faith, our faith that everything works out in the end and our faith in our own abilities.
The mid-part of the week and the end of the week are better suited to implementation of our plans. Any rough-ups early in the week could prove a honing, a tweaking, a refinement of our intentions and the methodology we are using.
With the wind to our back, the latter part of this week allows us to accomplish a lot and also to have our faith in ourselves validated. We might find creative outlets in which to express ourselves, and a ready and accepting audience for what we have to express.
If we would concentrate on the most meaningful activities and projects that truly serve us a purpose, then this latter part of the week might allow us to virtually move mountains. Our passion would be engaged as well as a willingness to meet any challenges that could stand in our way, all the while employing the most streamlined manner to get things done.
The weekend suggests a clean up and clear out of the debris in our lives, those areas that no longer serve us. By pruning the irrelevant and outmoded, we may find that we have eliminated the dead wood. We just have to recognize that elements passing out of our life might try to maintain their hold on us, and we could feel torn between letting go and maintaining activities that no longer serve us, but only weigh us down.
Monday, March 6th – Out and About – Saturn, Mars, Sun, Mercury. We start the week with a push – pull between our normal involvements and the siren’s call of future possibilities. The Gemini Moon opposes Saturn and the Moon sextiles Mars. The Moon then moves into Cancer, but the Cancer Moon makes no aspects to the planets today. The Cancer Moon connection to the planets has to wait until tomorrow, but then can be full bore. The Sun conjuncts Mercury. Today being a Monday we might feel called upon to get on with it, to deal with our usual tasks and concentrate on our preplanned schedule of events. We may need to do certain things but our desires are likely to lie elsewhere. Distractions and diversions could prove far more appealing. We might feel very fluid today, impacted by every sight and sound, and highly emotional. While we could easily get caught up in the frenzy of the madding crowd, the energy today would better serve our catching our breath, enjoying the comforts of home and strategizing our plans.
Tuesday, March 7th – Everything And the Kitchen Sink – Neptune, Sun, Mercury, Lunar Grand Cross, Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus. Hopefully, we took some of yesterday to catch our breath and reinvigorate ourselves, for this Tuesday could have us flat out. The Cancer Moon trines the three Pisces-transiting planets of Neptune, the Sun and Mercury. The Cancer Moon also triggers a Cardinal Grand Cross with the Moon square Venus and Uranus both in Aries, the Moon opposed Pluto in Capricorn and the Moon square Jupiter in Libra. While we might prefer lolling about in our imagination, and an imagination where things are not merely possible but probable, we could also be called upon to flip into overdrive. Tuesday can be a paradox. On the one hand, we may be seeking the comfort and serenity of the ingredients of our own personal world with its safe and happy place. On the other hand, we might be like the character Frank Costanza in the classic television Seinfeld show screeching loudly: ‘Serenity now!’ Our compassionate side, our inner drive and passion, can force us into the fray, doing this, trying that, all with a frenzied energy but without a great deal of follow through. This is a day when we have to be wary that we don’t fall prey to the wise admonition that ‘the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions’. We may have the very best intentions today and with the energy to match, but our involvements can be staccato-like with a great deal of noise but not much accomplishment. The more we can slow things down, not feel the weight of the world on our shoulders and focus our attention, the better able we are to get through this day without creating various messes for ourselves.
Wednesday, March 8th – Foresight and Practicality – Mars, Mercury, Pluto. The Cancer Moon squares Mars before the Moon moves into Leo today. Mercury sextiles Pluto. Wednesday and Thursday can be highly productive days, days when we could blend our foresight with a best practices approach. We might start the day wanting to get on with things, to put our personal imprint upon our affairs and race towards some finish line. Some of the champing at the bit may be the residue of yesterday’s fast and furious pace. Fortunately, our feet might be moving a mile a minute but our thought processes are well-engaged and considering the most expeditious and productive ways of going about things. Devoting time to planning would allow us to prioritize our activities and concentrate our time and energy on the most significant matters to address. We could blueprint and schedule our time without a moment lost or any needless details. This is a day when our mind is laser-like with the ability to cut to the core, see the fundamentals of a situation and then devise the most efficient ways to accomplish our goals.
Thursday, March 9th – Charismatic and Appealing Presence – Venus, Sun, Pluto, Mars Taurus. The Leo Moon today trines Venus. The Sun sextiles Pluto. Mars exits its own Sign of Aries to enter Venus-ruled Taurus. With Mars exiting Aries, we lose the Stellium of three planets in Aries, but we gain a Mutual Reception between Mars and Venus with Mars now transiting the Venus-ruled Sign of Taurus and Venus transiting the Mars-ruled Sign of Aries. We can build upon our sharp mental constructs of yesterday. If we utilized yesterday to plan, strategize and devise our intended moves ahead, this Thursday allows us to better implement our plans. Not only are we feeling powerful and more together, but powerful in an essential, substantial manner and not a heightened ego presentation. We are also able to present ourselves in an appealing and charismatic manner. This Thursday has us appearing as a force to be reckoned with but a force that is more likely to ‘charm the birds out of the trees’ than by brute force. We can gain advocates and supporters to our cause and possibly by our presence alone. We seem less impetuous, less impulsive than we might have seemed over recent weeks. We seem more willing to take things step by step in a structured and well-mannered way. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week are not to be lost, especially when we can draw upon these powerful energies to virtually move mountains.
Friday, March 10th – It’s All Good, Even Better – Jupiter, Lunar Grand Trine, Uranus, Saturn, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. Friday could prove the cherry on top of the past two days. Wednesday and Thursday gave us two Pluto aspects, the Mercury sextile Pluto on Wednesday, the Sun sextile Pluto on Thursday. We had the opportunity to focus our intentions and realize our inner powers of capability. Friday has the Leo Moon sextile Jupiter and the Moon triggering a Fire Grand trine with the Leo Moon trine Uranus in Aries and the Moon trine Saturn in Sagittarius. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before the Moon moves into Virgo where today the Moon trines Mars. This is a day when we can be looking good, feeling good and winning the applause and appreciation of our audience, whether that audience be a significant other or a chorus of admirers. We can draw upon our experience to trek into new, exciting terrain. While we are buoyed by self-confidence and enthusiasm for our next grand adventure, we are also willing to take things step by step with little liability to a misstep as we go on our merry way. Friday is a good day for us to exhibit our creative abilities and our dramatic presence. Everyone who comes upon us today is likely to be impressed.
Saturday, March 11th – Catching Our Breath – Neptune. After a highly energetic week and a week when we might have achieved a great deal, we could use this Saturday to catch our breath and deal with necessary errands. Let’s not push our luck. The past three days may have seemed like gifts from the universe, incredible blessings, and might have injected us with a sense that we can do no wrong. If we fall for such an assumption, we could be setting ourselves up for a nasty fall. This Saturday has the Virgo Moon opposed Neptune. While we can do a clean up and clear out today, it would be wise for us to tone down our energy and just take things slowly. Tomorrow is the Full Moon with some intense energies, so it would be far wiser for us to use this Saturday to rest up, relax and reinvigorate. We may need all the strength we have in order to deal with tomorrow.
Sunday, March 12th – Out of Control – Pluto, Virgo Full Moon, Lunar T-Square, Sun, Saturn, Mercury. The latter part of this week might have seemed too good to be true, or at least too good to last forever. Sunday could prove a comeuppance of sorts. We may have been gliding along on greased wheels, but this Sunday might feel like we’re on a runaway train barreling towards… Sunday has the Virgo Full Moon with the Moon trine Pluto, and the Moon triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed the Sun and the Moon opposed Mercury and the Moon square Saturn. To add to the mix, Mercury squares Saturn. There is a saying that ‘the devil is in the details’, and that could be especially true on this Sunday. Even if we feel that we have everything together, done our due diligence and nailed it, this Sunday could have us dreading a sense of waiting for a shoe to drop. Anxieties and concerns could be rampant today, but if we fall into the pit of despair, then it would be important for us to consider what our part in the situation might be and what was totally beyond our control. Our emotions can be heightened today and it would be wise to slow down our reactions and not buy into being victims of circumstance. Even if things seem to be falling apart, let’s allow the dust to settle before evaluating what is really going on. Our nerves could be frayed, and we might be a little too emotional and a little too attached to correctly assess the situation. Today is a day to find a way to chill out and detach ourselves from the craziness of the times.
