The astrology this week of November 7th through the 13th has various planetary Sign changes, which might provide a welcome relief from the anxiety provoking past few weeks and months.
Yes, sports fans, the huge matchup in the US between two flawed opponents is finally about to come to a close with the US presidential election on Tuesday. As I have written before, I personally do not have a favorite in this ‘match of the centuries’, but many of you have harkened to the call: ‘Are you ready to rumble?’
Soon this crazy-making election will be over, but as that great philosopher Yogi Berra would say: ‘It ain’t over till it’s over’. And, in truth, it’s never over.
The week begins on a fairly upbeat note. We may be preparing for the day after, or the months after, and consider where to place our priorities and what to focus on in the days ahead. We might assume we have greater clarity regarding which way the wind is likely to blow.
We are interested in sounding out other people regarding their perception of our plans and future intentions. We may be looking to expand our interests, especially in light of the fact that many things recently have been postponed or delayed as if treading water waiting to see which way the wind blows with the results of the presidential election.
We won’t have to wait too long since Election Day is on Tuesday. Or will we?
The mid-part of the week may feel as if we are all suffering from some form of a hangover. Even if we have lost sleep or feel discouraged by whatever has resulted, the shift of Mars transiting Capricorn and now moving into Aquarius may give us the impetus to give more weight to our future plans and the perseverance to plow ahead with our goals. We might feel somewhat tentative wondering how changes in the parameters might impact us, but we are likely to put our energies towards the new and the different rather than focusing on same old, same old. We might feel a sudden burst of energy and the latter part of the week can have us looking at initiations, launches and new beginnings.
The weekend sees two more Sign changes as Venus exits Sagittarius to enter Capricorn late on Friday night, followed by Mercury exiting Scorpio to enter Sagittarius on Saturday morning.
The weekend might have us contacting old friends and those people who can assist us in realizing our dreams. Once we have our game plan in mind, we could be looking to execute our moves and the best ways of making our proposed projects a reality. We are looking to savor the good things in life over the weekend and are ready to deal with whatever comes our way. Let’s keep in mind the wise and true saying that ‘we are never given more than we can handle.’
Monday, November 7th – Moving Mountains With a Little Help – Jupiter, Saturn, Sun, Pluto. Monday starts the week with a burst of energy. The Aquarius Moon trines Jupiter, the Moon sextiles Saturn and the Moon squares the Sun. The Sun sextiles Pluto. This is a day when we could virtually move mountains. We are looking at the far horizon or the summit and have the persistence and confidence that we can get to our planned future in a well-devised and systematic manner, even if there are times of bounding ahead, other times when the going may be slow. We can be highly astute and adept regarding our moves. Whatever we choose to engage for our future projects, they must have significance to us, for we are not looking for some shallow or superficial engagement. We are looking to go for the gold, those projects that have real meaning and purpose to our lives. Other people with a detached perspective can both encourage us in our endeavors and also provide some credible suggestions as to which way to go and how to go. We are feeling deeply connected to our soul purpose and optimistic of coming to brighter days through better ways.
Tuesday, November 7th – Games Finito – Uranus, Mercury, Venus, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday is Election Day in the US and brings closure [Really? Probably not likely] to the marathon of the US presidential election that has gone on almost indefinitely. Tuesday begins with the Aquarius Moon sextile Uranus, the Moon square Mercury and the Moon sextile Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost eight hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces late in the day. Apart from the conclusion of the bread and circus spectacles, this day for us personally can be a rather pleasant day. We might consider options and alternatives that we may not have taken into account before. We could make plans with that special someone or those special people in our lives to get together. Thoughts of holiday gatherings and winter getaways may be forefront in our mind. Tuesday is a day when we can think outside of the box, be highly innovative and consider our future options. Even if we assume that we do not have the resources to take a different trajectory in our lives, this is a day not to put on blinders nor get overly concerned about the means to realize our projections. On the contrary, as Richard Bach wrote in his classic Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah: ‘Don’t Limit the Is.’
Wednesday, November 9th – What Happened – Neptune, Saturn, Pluto, Mars Aquarius. Wednesday, the day after, has the Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune, the Moon square Saturn and the Moon sextile Pluto. Mars exits Capricorn to enter Aquarius. We might awaken slightly confused, reeling as if suffering from a hangover, and not necessarily feeling overly buoyant. Although we might assume that the craziness of the US presidential elections are behind us, it might keep going on and on with various allegations and charges being flung around. The more we can step away from the machinations of the powers-that-be, the better it is, for we can also use this time and day to complete outstanding matters and to turn our focus to new directions. Whether we are aware of changing parameters or have to make guesswork of the conditions that lie ahead, this is a day when we can give more focus to where we want to go. We can draw upon our intuitive sense and our practical sense to devise a best practices approach to develop and realize some of our greatest ambitions. We might want to avoid the diversions and distractions of situations that influence us indirectly but largely have little impact on our personal conditions.
Thursday, November 10th – Cutting Through the Fog – Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars. The Pisces Moon today trines the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. The Moon also squares Venus in Sagittarius. The Moon then goes into Aries late in the day and the Moon sextiles Mars. This Thursday can be a day of major switching as the Moon triggers Mercury which is about to go into Sagittarius on Saturday, as the Moon triggers Venus which is about to enter Capricorn on Friday, and the Moon triggers Mars which went into Aquarius yesterday. With the Moon moving from Pisces into Aries, we also have the sense of the ending of one monthly cycle as the Moon leaves the last Sign of the Zodiac wheel and enters the first Sign of the Zodiac wheel. This is a day when we can be highly astute. We might be emotional, but we can cut through the fog to see what is really going on. We may not like some of what we see, but there is little liability to having the wool pulled over our eyes. We could complete various outstanding matters, all with the sense that we want to clear the decks and then have the time space to initiate new ventures and pursue new activities.
Friday, November 11th – Too Much, Too Little, Just Right – Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, Venus Capricorn. Friday has the Aries Moon with the Moon today triggering a Cardinal Sign T-Square as the Moon opposes Jupiter and the Moon squares Pluto. The Moon ends the day with a trine to Saturn. Venus exits Sagittarius to enter Capricorn. Much of the activity on this Friday could occur late in the day. We might be gearing up for afternoon or evening gatherings. We could have a tendency to take on too much with the belief of the ‘more the merrier’. If we go that route, we may find that we aren’t being selective in our choices but just engaging virtually everything and everyone. On the flip side, we can be highly discriminating, turning down various requests even from those closest to us, possibly even to the point of dismissing some interesting and inviting situations. Yes, this Friday can be an either or day of too much or too little. While we are playing out the Goldilocks scenario, late in the day we could get it just right, but in the interim we could be a little frantic and frenetic. With Venus moving into Capricorn we might be more reliant upon old friends, those people we trust. We may also be more interested in socializing and engaging those people who can give us a leg up, whether professionally or socially.
Saturday, November 12th – New Adventures – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Mercury Sagittarius. Saturday begins the day with the Aries Moon conjunct Uranus. No matter our plans for the day or commitments made for this Saturday, we might choose to blow off our planned schedule to participate in whatever catches our fancy. This is a day for us to spread our wings, get out of town and explore options. We are looking for a grand adventure today and we’re willing to take off on our own if other people are unwilling to join in our impulsive escapades. This Saturday we are likely to put ourselves on the front burner, feel like a pioneer and go off in new directions. This sense of spontaneity and new aspects of our self can be heightened by Mercury coming out of Scorpio and entering Sagittarius. Our thoughts are likely to be broad and expansive. Unfortunately, Mercury in Sagittarius is in Detriment, and we can have the liability of broadening our perspective to the point of diffusion. This is a day when we might choose to spread our wings but without concern for direction or itinerary. If it feels good, we may well engage it. This Saturday can be slightly ungrounded. We start the day with a burst of energy, impulsive and spontaneous, but there is not a great deal of energy as the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over thirteen and half hours with the Moon making no further contacts to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aries and before the Moon enters Taurus late in the day with the Moon trine Venus. No matter how far or in what manner we do our own thing on this Saturday, we can come back to ground late in the day with a little help from someone who provides a template of structure and organization and order. We might start the day with our head in the clouds, but we can find our feet back on the ground late in the day.
Sunday, November 13th – Taming the Wild One – Mars, Neptune, Pluto. Saturday could have stirred the wild spirit, or at least reckless adventurer, in us. And Sunday could still have some element of champing at the bit, wanting to make things unique and different with us wanting to participate in new and varied involvements. The Moon is in Taurus on this Sunday and the day begins with the Moon square Mars. We could feel pushed and pulled by what we feel we should do and what our instincts for individuality call us to do. There could even be the sense of a wild stallion needing to be reined in, needing to be tamed. Although we could be agitated as we start the day, the day settles down as we settle down into a more intuitive and focused manner. The Taurus Moon sextiles Neptune, and the Moon trines Pluto. If we would take the time to curb our desire to push the envelope, then we might discover that we can neatly fit things together. This is a day when we can harness our feeling nature and our inner knowing with a laser-like concentration on what is at the core of the matter. If we don’t exhaust ourselves to begin the day, then we could use this day to plan out our future goals and devise the means to achieve the truly purposeful interests in our lives.
