The astrology this week can have us at the top of our game with a focus both on our personal relationships and our professional goals.
We start the week imbued with great enthusiasm and confidence. We might enjoy the company of other people and especially those people with whom we share a mutual admiration. Although there can be bombs bursting in air and explosive developments, we may have gotten used to some of the craziness in the world at large and are no longer quite as susceptible to the crazy-making antics as we might have been months and years ago.
The mid-week period can have us highly productive. We may want to concentrate on what we need to get done, taking things step by step towards our intended conclusions. We do have to be wary that we’re not trying to do too much, for such behavior can either trigger intense exhaustion to the point of getting ourselves ill or trip off careless attendance to what needs to get done. We might need to slow things down, prioritize and spend quality time on quality projects.
The end of the week has the Libra New Moon with its imprint for the next two weeks emphasizing personal relationships and a desire for all things bright and beautiful. We are at the end of September entering October and much of the natural landscape can take on an impressionistic masterpiece as the leaves on the trees start to turn a spectacle of reds, oranges, gold and scarlet. Let’s keep in mind that the true masterpiece of our lives is in the art of living.
The weekend could be spent in idyllic reveries with that special someone or those special people in our lives.
Monday, September 26th – Appreciative Audience – Saturn, Sun, Jupiter, Pluto direct. Monday starts the week with the Leo Moon trine Saturn. The Sun conjuncts Jupiter, and Pluto ends it’s five plus months retrograde cycle to turn direct. We can be feeling confident, optimistic and upbeat. We may want to be on center stage and seeking the appreciation and mutual admiration from that special someone in our life or those special people with whom we align ourselves. We may contact people at a distance to share our good news and to learn of their adventures. Even if we have been back on track from our summer sojourns, today is a day when we might choose to reconnect with people. Enthusiasm and exuberance are contagious, even if there are some wild bumps in the road with explosive incidents. Whenever Pluto changes direction, it seems as though there are bombings, and various blasts of some kind. Like a volcano percolating below the surface to finally erupt, the Pluto shift in direction often brings underlying matters up to be released. Although we might be in a great frame of mind today, it would be wise to be cautious regarding the conditions and circumstances around us. This Monday can start off the week on a high note. We just have to be wary of the earth moving below our feet. We can be highly creative today, put together successful presentations and can start to focus on the practical means to realize our goals.
Tuesday, September 27th – Adding a Twist – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Mars Capricorn. Tuesday begins with the Leo Moon trine Uranus. Whether we were bowled over or successfully surfed yesterday’s waves, we can add an interesting twist to how we present ourselves today. We might feel like we have something different to offer, that we have devised unique and innovative ways to develop our interests and that we have our own niche of talent and ability to express. While we have a thrust of energy to start the day, we might be looking to do things on our own terms rather than meeting prescribed conditions. This is one of those days when we might spring out of bed and bellow: ‘I gotta be me’. After this initial thrust of energy with the Moon trine Uranus in the early morning hours, the energy may die down as the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost thirteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets while the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo where today the Moon trines Mars in Capricorn, which Mars has just entered today after exiting Sagittarius. The evening hours of this Tuesday through Thursday can have us focusing on the details to realize our goals. We may have gained a second wind and could be more attentive to our ambitions, an attitude reinforced by Pluto turning direct on Monday and by Mars entering Capricorn today. A sense of spirit in action might be our central theme.
Wednesday, September 28th – Avoiding Irritating Distractions – Venus, Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Saturn, Pluto. Wednesday continues with the Virgo Moon with the Moon today sextile Venus, the Moon triggering a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon opposed Neptune and the Moon square Saturn, and the Moon trine Pluto. The beginning of the day and the end of the day can have us focused on what needs to get done. We can deal with our responsibilities and attend to necessary matters. Mid-day, early afternoon may be a bit more squirrely. We could get distracted, bored or feel overwhelmed by outstanding matters that are beckoning our attention. We can be highly productive early in the day, late in the day. We might consider taking some ‘time out’ in the early afternoon. Even if we try to focus at that early afternoon period, we could find ourselves spinning our wheels. If we can make a schedule whereby we block off the early afternoon hours for some specific purpose, we might avoid irritating and frustrating diversions. Otherwise, let’s look at accomplishing as much as possible in the morning, stepping away for a leisurely lunch and siesta and then get back at it prioritizing our activities both for the evening hours and for Thursday.
Thursday, September 29th – Tying Up the Ends – Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course. Thursday continues briefly with the Moon in Virgo and with the Moon conjunct Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost twenty-two hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra early on Friday. We are also on the dark side of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s Libra New Moon. This Thursday is a good day for us to deal with the particulars of our lives and to bring things to completion. We are closing in on the end of September and the end of the third quarter. We might choose this day to deal with financial issues, pay bills and ready ourselves for the fourth quarter. We can be astute as to the specifics of various matters and could use this day to budget our time, our monies and our involvements. An inventory taking of where we are, where we have been and where we want to go would allow us to acknowledge our accomplishments and also devise a well-considered trajectory to realize our future goals. We can present our interests in a grounded and practical manner and could win some advocates to our side.
Friday, September 30th – You & Me Together – Mars, Jupiter, Libra New Moon, Sun. Friday has the Moon moving into Libra where today the Moon squares Mars, the Moon conjuncts Jupiter and the Moon conjuncts the Sun at the time of the Libra New Moon. This New Moon gives the imprint for the next two weeks up to the Aries Full Moon on the 15th – 16th. This is the last day of September and the first New Moon of the autumn season. Our focus may be on relationships, collaborations and doing things more with other people than solo. Let’s keep in mind the symbol of Libra being the scales with the tendency to weigh things before we come to a point of equilibrium and find the balance. And so it may be for us, a tendency perhaps even a liability of being somewhat indecisive, overwhelmed by the broad palette of options open to us and deferring our decisions until we garner input from all and sundry. This time can be a very pleasant time. We are likely to see it in nature with the extreme heat of summer finding a greater balance between warm days and cooler nights. We might see it in nature as the country landscape turns into a masterpiece of scintillating colors as the leaves on the trees in the northern latitudes turn to reds, oranges, gold and scarlet. A tendency with the Libra energy is to consider all sides but once a side is chosen to then move forward deliberately and decisively, albeit with moments of reconsiderations as things progress. This Friday could find us putting off some of our responsibilities in order to gain the advice of someone or to just enjoy a leisurely time with that special someone or our special peeps. We might decide to engage our weekend early, so it would be wise to try and get as much done regarding our routine tasks early in the day since later we might be more engaged in social gatherings.
Saturday, October 1st – Traipsing in Elysium – Saturn, Pluto, Venus, Neptune. The Libra Moon continues on this Saturday with the Moon today sextile Saturn and the Moon square Pluto. Venus trines Neptune. Whatever we need to get done on this Saturday, it would be wise to do so early in the day. Someone might place demands on us in the morning hours. Let’s accomplish what needs to be addressed, for the mid-day on can be pleasant reveries. Whether we take a drive in the country, get down by the sea shore, or just loll about around home, the afternoon and evening hours can be spent in our happy safe place where everyone likes us, even if we are the only one in our Elysium. There can be a radiant glow to this day, a fuller appreciation for those people who sparkle our lives. Life is good and we are fully engaging the soft embrace of living and all its blessings.
Sunday, October 2nd – Don’t Fence Me In – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. Sunday begins with the Moon still in Libra and in the early morning hours the Moon opposes Uranus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for thirteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio where late in the day the Scorpio Moon sextiles Mars. While Friday and yesterday may have been some fun get-together times, we might feel on this Sunday as if ‘enough is enough’. Not that we are wishing to seclude and hide out. We just aren’t overly interested in being tied down. On the contrary, today is a day for us to be out and about, going from one thing to another, engaging this person, that person and some other person in brief connections before heading off elsewhere. We might far prefer sprinklings of events and people rather than saturation. While we are certainly interested in what is going on with other people and looking to be collaborative regarding plans, we do not want our wishes to be squelched. We may want to do our own thing today or many things. The latter part of the day can have us considering what we need to pare down. Towards the end of the day, we may be more concerned about our goals and our ambitions. We might have had a lot of our professional focus on the back burner in order to enjoy social interactions, but the end of Sunday and closing out the week we can be geared towards making our dreams come true.
