If we are not careful, this week could have us traipsing into la-la-land. There can be a great deal of illusion and delusion that may demand we be very discerning and astute to what is going on around us.
The week might be slow starting with us trying to get our bearings. Even if we are not totally clear about our schedule or our plans, we may launch forward due to a high degree of impatience. We just don’t want to be spinning our wheels as we start the week. But leaping too fast before we have an in-depth look at our circumstances could land us in a fine mess, and a mess of our own doing.
The early part of the week has the Pisces New Moon, a Solar Eclipse. Tendencies to exaggeration, towards indulgence and to go to excess can be strong under this New Moon configuration, an energy configuration signature that impacts the next two weeks. We may bristle against any limitations or restrictions, but those restraints may be healthy braking actions to avoid us from being a runaway train going full tilt off the cliff.
If we can rein in our irrational exuberance and thwart our anxieties and fears, then the latter part of the week can be highly productive, a time when we can accomplish a great deal, especially if we concentrate on the details and not get carried away by our projected big picture of prospects ad possibilities. But such a disposition may prove a tall order.
This is a week when we might more readily have our head in the clouds with our feet barely touching the ground. Whatever it takes to stay grounded, we should try and employ. Otherwise, we might feel tied to a helium balloon lifting us up and providing us an overview with the particulars becoming increasingly sketchy.
The weekend may be a good time to get our house in order. We are a week away from the Vernal Equinox and the beginning of Spring. We could use this weekend to clean things up, clear up the rubbish of our lives and prepare for our intended springtime activities. We can get things in order, spruce up our person and our environment, and feel as though we have provided a spit and polish to enhance our appearance.
Monday, March 7th – Anywhere but Here – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Mercury. The week begins with the Aquarius Moon conjunct Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost ten and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces where today the Pisces Moon squares Mars and the Moon conjuncts Mercury. We may start the day with great intentions and attention to our possibilities. Under the encouragement of someone else, we could conceive of all the things we can do in our future. Making plans to get together with friends might take up much of the early part of our day. We are far more interested in what could be rather than what needs to get done. As the day progresses, we might kick into high gear, although our itinerary and directions can prove cloudy at best. We can be champing at the bit wanting to get on with things but not at all clear about what things we want to get on with. The latter part of this day could have us running around. Let’s slow things down and create a clarified game plan. With Mercury in Detriment, being in Pisces where Mercury’s thought processes can be hazy and confused, we might be easily drawn into situations that look good on the outside but could prove to be a tangled mess once we get involved. Let’s keep in mind that we are on the dark side of the Moon today prior to tomorrow’s New Moon, so our efforts would be far better served in taking things slow and concentrating on completions rather than initiations.
Tuesday, March 8th – Over the Moon – Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto, Sun, Pisces New Moon, Solar Eclipse, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday gives us the imprint for the next two weeks and beyond. The Pisces Moon triggers the Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon conjunct Neptune, the Moon square Saturn and the Moon opposed Jupiter. The Moon sextiles Pluto and the Moon conjuncts the Sun at the time of the Pisces New Moon, which is a Solar Eclipse. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost eighteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries tomorrow. The Sun opposes Jupiter. This Tuesday, and with its influence over the next two weeks, could have us anywhere and everywhere. We may feel as though we are caroming between ups and downs and not knowing which is which. The liability today and over the next two weeks is towards irrational exuberance, accepting what we want to believe without discernment and without using due diligence to see what is truly going on. We may be feeling invincible and accepting of the idea that everything works out in the end. Such an upbeat attitude without conscious evaluation could be a prescription for disaster. We could take things at face value, accept the best possible spin on anything and everything and dig ourselves a major hole from which it could prove hard to get out from. We may be operating on high frequencies wanting to go a mile a minute but it would be wise for us to temper our enthusiasm and seriously check things out. The whipsaws today and over the next two weeks could be quite extreme with some major highs and lows. Why go there when having our reins on our emotions could keep us on the right track and not grabbing at illusions or delusions.
Wednesday, March 9th – Getting it Together – Moon Void-of-Course, Mars. Yesterday might have proven a little exhausting, a blowout of emotions that may have had us all over the place. Wednesday begins with the Void-of-Course Moon in Pisces. We could be contemplating our endings and considering our intended beginnings. The more we blueprint our plans, the better our approach will be. Let’s use the morning hours to straighten things up, clear the decks and complete certain matters. When the energy shifts today, it truly does shift. We may not have a great deal of energy to start the day, but we can be fast out of the starting blocks as the day progresses. As the Moon moves into Aries, the Moon trines Mars. We may be looking to expand our activities, broaden our reach and with a dynamic energy that can be truly impressive. This is a day when what we want we are determined to get. We could feel as though we have gained a second wind. Certainly the energy of the past two days, which may have been slightly dazed, confused and frenetic, changes radically. We are far more in our body, liable to be impetuous but all with the sense of pushing forward our agenda and initiating new projects. It would be wise for us to formulate what we want to do and how we want to do it, for otherwise we could be fast out of the gate and aggressively making our case with little concern for how it’s received. A little diplomacy could gain us advocates or, at least, prevent opposition to our intentions.
Thursday, March 10th – Twists and Turns – Saturn, Pluto, Uranus. Thursday has the Aries Moon trine Saturn, the Moon square Pluto and the Moon conjunct Uranus. Much of the energy picks up later on this Thursday. After trying different things out, we can gain the right format and the best means to realize our personal goals. But even the most structured plans might need some retooling and re-workings. We may find that how we have started something doesn’t allow it to operate at its optimum. If we run up against any obstacles, it would be wise for us to think outside the box, retool what we have been working on and go from there. Often, braking action or impediments provide a tempering process whereby we can get things ‘right’ by reconfiguring. I would suggest we deal with our routine activities in the early part of the day in order to create time-space for us to go off on a lark and start something that would not conflict with our usual responsibilities. If we take care of mundane matters early in the day, we can go off and focus on our own personal interests later in the day.
Friday, March 11th – Major Tom to Ground Control – Venus, Mercury, Neptune. We start this Friday with the Moon in Aries and the Moon sextile Venus. The Moon then moves into Taurus. Mercury conjuncts Neptune. Someone could prove a strong advocate and encourage us to launch a new project or a new interest. A friend can be a good sounding board. Where a problem arises is our imagination might be so strong that we easily paint a masterpiece of a projected plan. We are likely to be so engaged with the concept and abstract, sell it well to someone who jumps on board of our fantasy train and urges us to leave the station that we move ahead with an activity that seems exciting and well-conceived but that might also prove to be a runaway train. Our thoughts of what we want to do can be picture perfect, but we might gloss over the specifics as to how we can go from concept through implementation to successful realization. Friday is a day when we can have our head in the clouds with all sorts of miraculous happenings achieved in our mind’s eye. Friday is also a day when we could start down the yellow brick road, buying into a marvelous abstract but with no clue as to the particulars we might engage along the way. This Friday is better served in reveries of what could be, enjoying the company of a special someone and taking everything with a grain of salt. This is a day when it might be wise to allow ourselves to meditate, reflect and contemplate what we want to do next without launching whatever we imagine we want to initiate. Tomorrow would be a far better day to put spirit into action and take our intended activity into manifestation.
Saturday, March 12th – All Together Now – Neptune, Mercury, Lunar Grand Trine, Pluto, Jupiter, Venus Pisces. Saturday could prove to be the most productive day of this week. We are operating on all cylinders, not gunning the engine and not veering off into some la-la-land. No, on this Saturday we have it going on. The Taurus Moon today sextiles both Neptune and Mercury in Pisces and the Moon triggers an Earth Grand Trine with the Taurus Moon trine Pluto in Capricorn and the Moon trine Jupiter in Virgo. Venus exits Aquarius to enter Pisces. Saturday has a highly effective combination of imagination and implementation. We can come up with the right answers and impress people with our visionary sense and our practical application. This is a day when things can all fit neatly together. It is also a day that would be highly suited to our fixing things up, having a makeover and spending whatever we need to spend in order to put on our best presentation. We are operating at our optimum today. We are neither overbearing nor obsequious, neither frenetic nor too laid back, neither too much in our head nor overly focused on the particulars. Our sense of balance, style and taste could prove impeccable on this Saturday. Let’s not waste this day, for we can put a spit and polish to our lives, whereby we are looking good, feeling good and doing good.
Sunday, March 13th – Catching our Breath Before the Sprint – Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Lunar T-Square, Venus, Mars. We may be riding a crest when we first awaken on this Sunday. A lot of things could have fallen neatly into place yesterday. Once engaged, various things could have come together. We might be riding that wave of things working perfectly as we begin this Sunday. The day begins with the Taurus Moon sextile the Sun. We can put the finishing touches on our fix-up, makeover or late winter cleanup and clear out. We are preparing for the coming of Spring, and one indication in the US will be the start of Daylight Savings Time today. A sense of the approaching Spring and Summer can bring closure in our mind to the winter season. We may be inclined to enjoy this Sunday, marvel at all that we have accomplished and luxuriate in tasks well performed. After the Moon sextile Sun aspect to begin this Sunday, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost eleven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini. The late hours of this Sunday has the Moon triggering a Lunar T-Square in the Mutable Signs as the Gemini Moon squares Venus in Pisces and the Moon opposes Mars in Sagittarius. We may have accomplished a great deal in a focused and best practices approach on Saturday, enjoyed the fruits of our labors earlier on this Sunday, but the end of this Sunday can have us in high gear, back on the track of nervous energy and considering all the things that we have to do and all the things that we have left undone. From a gentle and placid Sunday, Sunday evening can have us back in an anxious mode, ratcheting up our concern of what awaits us as we begin the new week tomorrow.
