November 2nd – 8th, 2015

This week is a week when we can display our talents, put our house in order and enjoy special moments with the significant people in our lives.

This first full week of November begins with us presenting ourselves in a very put-together manner. Not only are we looking good, whether we have given ourselves a personal makeover or not. We have also focused our attention on all the various specifics that go to make up the big picture. Details are covered, the content solid, and our image impeccable. Yes, we are likely to have it going on as we begin this week. Our interest may be concentrated on our own personal talents and capabilities, and we are willing to share them selectively with those who can appreciate our worth and our achievements.

Taking care of what needs to be done both effectively and expeditiously allows us to broaden our reach and consider our options for future engagements.

The mid-week period can have us dealing with our responsibilities, but let’s be careful that we don’t take on other people’s issues, especially those people who are merely attached to their emotional dramas and unwilling to resolve their crazy-making problems. There is no time for the Statue of Liberty play whereby we take on the walking wounded and those people refusing to heal their dysfunctional ways. And yet, such people can provide us a good mirror for us to see where we are wasting our time, participating in the non-productive and then temper our involvements so that whatever we engage serves our personal interests and is a true aid for those important people in our lives.

Even if we become confused in evaluating the functional from the dysfunctional, our intuitive sense could be heightened, providing us the ability to correctly assess situations by our gut hunches, our intuitive sense. Let’s trust our inner voice that understands what is really going on, no matter evidence to the contrary.

The weekend can be a pleasant time to get together with friends and loved ones. We may have started the week concentrating on our own personal interests, may have spent time during the mid-week on what needed to get done, but the weekend allows us special moments with that important person or important people in our lives. Plans may not work out as expected, but that’s part of the excitement of these times — expecting the unexpected and embracing the magic and miracles that go far beyond our control or manipulation.

Monday, November 2nd – Making the Best of It – Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Mars, Mercury Scorpio. Monday begins the week with Mercury exiting Libra to enter Scorpio. The Moon moves into Leo where today the Moon squares Mercury and the Moon trines Saturn. Venus conjuncts Mars. Our mind may shift from our interest in whatever is going on with someone else to an intent focus on getting to the core of any situation. While we might have been highly communicative over the past two months, we are likely to be far more secretive now and holding our cards close to our chest. From much communication recently, we are more likely to be concise and succinct in what we have to say. Our mind is sharp but our expressions could verge on the prickly. Fortunately, this day allows us to be resourceful, capable and presenting ourselves in a stylish manner without a great deal of cost involved. Monday allows us to make the best from what we have, deal with the specifics of any matter, all the while that we are concentrating on those areas that have real purpose and meaning to us. We are not looking to waste our time today and can be expeditious in accomplishing many tasks.

Tuesday, November 3rd – Held Back Before Letting Loose – Sun, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday has the Leo Moon square the Sun early in the day, and the Moon trine Uranus late in the day. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for close to thirty-nine hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before entering Virgo late on Wednesday. We may feel limited by what we can do today. We might feel that we are operating at half speed or contained by someone else’s dictates. Even if we feel held back, it is important that we recognize one of the beauties of astrology — the recognition of phases and timing. There are times when nothing seems easy or goes right, other times when things seem to operate smoothly as if on greased wheels and we are witness to various mini-miracles and wonderful surprises. This day begins with us feeling that we are exerting a great deal of energy but getting nowhere. We may feel as though the wind has been knocked out of our sails. Let’s not despair, for no matter how arduous the morning hours might seem, later in the day unexpected opportunities are likely to come our way and allow us to express our talents in a unique manner and even in a different venue. The end of the day has the energy dying down as the Moon goes Void-of-Course. Let’s do what we can with what we’ve got but let’s also be open to receive some unexpected news late in the day.

Wednesday, November 4th – Waiting for Godot – Moon Void-of-Course. Wednesday continues with the Leo Moon and the Moon Void-of-Course that began last evening and continues through much of this day until the Moon moves into Virgo late on this Wednesday. There is not a great deal of energy on this Wednesday. We can putter around, seek out activities that allow us to express our creativity, but it would be wise for us to concentrate today on process rather than results. Some of us may choose this Wednesday as a ‘mental health’ day, a day when we choose to do some fun adventure that allows us to regroup, recharge but without contributing a great deal to our usual tasks or our long-term projects. There just isn’t a great deal of energy on this Wednesday. If we look to put our best foot forward today, we might be doing so for an audience of one – ourself. Let’s not put too much emphasis on what we should do today or what our schedule might demand. This is a day to lark about and just enjoy ourself. There are many times when we feel that life is hard and arduous. This is a day to play hooky and just enjoy the beauties that life offers us. Even if we decide that we should stay and be Waiting for Godot, we might reread Beckett and realize that Godot never comes.

Thursday, November 5th – Ratcheted Up – Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury, Sun, Pluto. Whatever we accomplished yesterday, and it would be surprising if we accomplished much; this Thursday may ratchet up the energy with us trying to do this, that and the other and liable to get tied up in knots in trying to do so. The Virgo Moon today triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon square Saturn and the Moon opposed Neptune. The Moon sextiles Mercury and the Sun sextiles Pluto. It would have been wise for us to have taken Wednesday as a day of fun adventures, stepping off the track, considering our various capabilities and resources but without feeling pressured to get things done. We all need time to step off the track, get out of our own way and allow a fresh perspective by which some of the nickels to drop can reveal what is really going on in our lives. Thursday is a different story. We might feel compelled to make up for lost time, start the day in hyper-speed and try to get as much done as possible. Where a problem arises is a liability to leap ahead without scheduling, prioritizing or figuring out the day. On the contrary, we might feel compelled to get at it, even if we have yet to define the ‘it’. We could start the day running around in circles in a fit of anxiety and confusion, but if we would only take a breath and a moment, then we could truly determine what to do and in what order to do it. We might also come to a greater sense of ourselves and the changes and transformations that each of us has gone through over the past seven years. Much has changed, and so have we. If we would slow things down today, we could recognize what is truly important to us and what is merely a distraction and a waste of our time.

Friday, November 6th – Knowing Without Knowing – Pluto, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune. Friday is a day when we can wrap up various matters, attend to any pressing needs and be able to effectively and expeditiously accomplish a great deal. The Virgo Moon today trines Pluto, the Moon sextiles the Sun and the Moon conjuncts Jupiter. Mercury trines Neptune. This is a highly productive day thanks not only to our persistence and determination but also because our intuitive sense is heightened and we can feel as though we are being divinely guided as to what to do and how to do it. Friday is a day for us to get out of our own way, not assume that we hold mastery over circumstances based solely on our ego gratifications but to trust our instincts and listen to our inner voice. The way can be made known if we are receptive and open to what we ‘feel’ to be the right direction. If we have presentations to be made or causes to be argued, this day allows us to combine both a practical, specifically focused case with a compelling emotional appeal. We can paint a magnificent picture of where we want to go with the details sharp, crisp and to the point. Friday is a day when we can virtually move mountains, gain advocates in support of our dreams and do so in an easy, even subtle, manner.

Saturday, November 7th – Sharing the Wealth – Mars, Venus, Saturn. Friday may have showered us with great accomplishments and in so doing gave us a sense of good feeling and confident optimism. Saturday begins with the Virgo Moon conjunct both Mars and Venus. The Moon then exits Virgo to enter Libra where today the Moon sextiles Saturn. If we have any finishing touches to complete from yesterday’s activities, the morning hours of this Saturday would be the time to do so. We can hone and polish whatever projects we involved ourselves with yesterday. Friday may have seemed a day when things were operating as if on greased wheels, pieces fitting neatly together, and everything moving smoothly ahead. If we did not complete certain matters yesterday, we can do so on the early morning hours of this Saturday. Once we have taken care of errands and outstanding matters, we can focus our attention on time with that special someone or the special people in our lives. We may arrange a get-together with someone we haven’t seen in a while and we might use this Saturday to play catch up with someone. This is a day when we can use our renewed optimism to spread a little joy and good cheer on friends and family alike.

Sunday, November 8th – Good Times with Unexpected Twists – Lunar T-Square, Pluto, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus Libra. Sunday continues with the Libra Moon with the Moon today triggering the Cardinal Sign T-Square as the Moon squares Pluto and the Moon opposes Uranus. Venus exits Virgo to enter its own Sign of Libra. This day may all be about our relationships. Our time spent could be with someone else or other people. We are likely to engage with activities that might be determined by someone other than our choice. If we have plans already made, then it would be wise for us to realize that there may be delays in realizing our intended activities with the liability of unexpected situations arising that force us to change our plans. This is a day for us to engage flexibility and adaptability, for things may not go according to plan. Let’s not get aggravated by any surprising events that might arise. On the contrary, this is a day for us to roll with whatever crops up. Towards the latter part of the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over twenty-five hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio late on Monday. With Venus exiting Virgo and entering Libra, we might find people to be more considerate of each other with more charm and diplomacy and less of a critical attitude that people might have engaged over the past three weeks. This Sunday can be a fun time with good friends so long as we are not rigid or fixed to our schedule and our intended plans.
